Skin Care Free Trial Scams – Phone Numbers and How to Cancel!

free trial wrinkle creamsHave you been scammed by a free trial for a beauty cream?

Free trials for beauty creams are running rampant online, especially on Facebook!

The ads for Shark Tank creams, Dr. Oz wrinkle creams, Oprah Winfrey, celebrity creams, they’re all bogus and only give you 12-14 days to try before billing and are impossible to cancel.

Their deceptive ads may have lured you in to accepting a free trial, and now you’re being billed each and every month for a cream that’s nothing short of an average moisturizer with subpar ingredients.

If you’re trying to find a phone number to call and cancel to stop the monthly billing, scroll down to see my list of phone numbers.

I’ve compiled this list over the last four years and have over 500 names and numbers!

Please be advised, I am NOT the one charging you, and I’m also NOT the person to email to cancel your order. If the number is not on my list, CALL YOUR BANK and ask for the number.

Why am I Writing This and are there ANY Good Trial Products?

I am not a cream company, I am a blogger and I wrote this post to help people take the appropriate steps to get out of these recurring billing arrangements which only give you 12-14 days to try their crappy creams.

Understandably, at this point you may want to run for the hills even at the mention of a trial, however, I do get inquires from women all the time asking if there are any good free trials and what to look for.

If you want to try a great product before committing, there is only one that I recommend and that is Lifecell Anti-aging Treatment  (please read my personal review there to learn the difference and exactly how the membership works so there are no surprises!)

Take these steps to cancel your free trial:

  1. If the number you’re looking for is not on my list, it means I don’t have it – CALL YOUR BANK FOR THE NUMBER.
  2. Tell your bank to look for the company who billed you the $4.95 S&H fees and any subsequent fees for the creams – it will usually be listed as a different company name than the cream (they do this purposefully to throw you off).
  3. At this point you have two options 1)file an immediate fraud dispute with your bank or credit card company, or 2)try to reach the cream company to cancel the subscription yourself. Sometimes the banks will not cooperate unless you’ve at least “tried” to reach them, sometimes they’ll do a three way call with you.
  4. If you do get the number, call the cream company and request that they cancel your subscription immediately.
  5. DO NOT give them your credit card number to search for your order – only give them your email or address to search.
  6. BE TOUGH – Do not take no for an answer, and don’t let them talk you into any discounts, or extending your free trial. If you get the runaround, ask to speak to a supervisor.
  7. Ask for a confirmation email of your cancellation, so this way you’ll have proof to show your bank if they continue to charge you.
  8. You can try to ask for a refund, but if you’re past the 14 day free trial period, unfortunately they usually don’t give refunds. They may offer to give you a 30% or a 50% refund if you mail the cream back to them.
  9. If they are not cooperative (which they generally aren’t), threaten to report them to the BBB and your state’s attorney general’s office if they do not comply. Reporting them regardless of the outcome is a good idea, we need to fight back.
  10. If you can’t find a phone number to call them, you have no other choice but to dispute the charges with your bank or credit card company.

Help me grow this phone number list so we can fight back!

If you have numbers that I’m missing, please share by leaving a review or comment down at the very bottom (please don’t send it by email) with the name of the cream and the phone number. I’d love to make this list grow to help others who have been scammed!

Also touted on the Shark Tank. Charged a terrible price for the cream and paid me back half of the amount after I "talked to them". They told me I would receive the ther half after I returned the first month's shipment, which has never arrived so I will have to fight with them again soon !!!

Q: Just signed for free trial of Facial Revive - is this a scam too? -Donna

A: Donna, yes Facial Revive is a scam in my opinion. They're going to bill you about $90 on day 14 when the free trial is up. Day 1 is the day you ordered. All of the Facial Revive websites are flipping to new wrinkle cream scams, mostly the Coal Cream, which is just another scam. I can't find a phone number for Facial Revive since they're already furiously changing up their websites to new links. I would call your bank and see if they have a number on the back end. Or look at your bank online and look for that small $4.95 or so s&h fee. They bill under different company names but there may be a phone number listed. Or file a fraud dispute with your credit card company if you don't have any luck finding the phone number. Good luck. ~Rachel

Q: i was scammed by derma fixa for 195.48.ive been trying for over a week to get a refund but they refuse.im on ssi and ss so i certainly cant afford 195.00 monthly. im going to my bank today to try and get helpbut im so afraid they will try to take money again next month. they left me with nothing this month. will i have to worry about this? they supposedly closed the account but i dont trust them. -janey

A: Janey, I'm so sorry about this. Definitely file a fraud dispute with your bank and if I were you, I would ask the bank to open a new account for you and close the other one. But be sure and file the fraud dispute along with that. Also be sure that you've cancelled your ongoing subscription which it sounds like you did. Did they send you an email confirmation that they've cancelled? Good luck, Rachel

Q: Ordered a trial of Reversaderm and immediately After I ordered knee something was not right. I called back to cancel and they won't let me...how do I get out of this? Cancelled my credit card and reported it as fraud. There was a shark tank ad for it and it's never been on that show. Very deceiving. How do I cancel if they won't let me? -Stephanie

A: Stephanie, I've heard of these bogus shark tank ads for skin creams. I found the phone number for Reversaderm Skin Care (888)614-9317 and I've added it to my list. Thank you so much for sharing this info with me, and the world! Hopefully someone will see this before they order. What do you mean they won't let you cancel? Call them asap and demand to speak to a supervisor and don't take NO for an answer. Tell them to cancel your subscription immediately and to send you an email confirmation. Threaten to report to the BBB and your State's Attorney General's Office. They are bullshitting you saying you can't cancel. Gotta play hardball with them. Please try again and good luck! ~Rachel

Q: Is [email protected]_skinsupport.com a scam website I've just made a mistake by ordering some trail creams I've tried to cancel by calling these numbers 08001422496 and 08000564834 but keep getting the phone put down on me.They also keep replying same email when I tried to cancel by email. What can I do next? -Paula

A: Paula, that's an email address not a URL for a website. I can't find a cream that matches with that email address on my list. Those don't appear to be US numbers are they?? File a fraud dispute with your bank. Do you have any idea what the names of the creams are? ~Rachel

Could you please email me the phone number and email you found for this company can’t seam to reach them to cancel my order .Please help.

I have another scam product to add to your list. It is the:

Avila Ageless Serum & Firming Cream

They offer a “free trial” for just shipping… but as all the others there is some fine print… somewhere… that locks you into an autopay-autoship system. Upon cancelling, they will offer all the way down to 80% off… and that offer holds even if you call back to restore your account (just in case this is actually a working product… lol). Thanks so much for putting this list up!

  • Si

I ordered a free trial $4.95 + s/h for total $5.95. Didn’t think that was too bad. Until I checked my checking account today and I now have a pending charge of $87.43. The free trial was for Juneau Skin Serum and apparently they are sending another one for the total cost! My statement shows the company is Terrific Beauty Wellness on Brown Road in Mesa AZ. I have searched for the company and Juneau Skin Serum and all I keep finding is to order the free trial. I can’t find any phone number to call and cancel, which they probably won’t anyway with this being a scam. I talked to my bank and they said I need to try to contact them first. So if anyone else has dealt with them and/or has a phone #, please help me and let me know. Much appreciated!

stopped this eye cream LUMARE SKIN EYE CREAM 4 MONTHS AGO. Still getting it, stopped it at my bank. My bank says they keep sending it under a new name! 866-346-1930 is one of their phone numbers.

  • Sandra

This isn’t a question but info on what I am going through with Vitasilk. I fell for the face they used Marilyn Denis’s name and photo to advertise for a free trial but pay shipping and handling of approx $9.00. I did receive! I telephoned 3 different phone numbers, numberous times, to cancel further orders and was unable to get through to any one. I left many messages for someone to call and why I was calling. No one returned my call. I sent approximately 26 emails and received no response. Further monies were withdrawn from my account and no product has been received. I have shut down my bank account and reported the issue to the fraud department but was told there is a good chance I will not be reimbursed. So the end result is even if the fine print says if you cancel within a certain time there will be no more charges, that is not true! Not one person returned my phone call and emails. I feel angry at myself for falling for this!

  • Barb Laskowski

I to fell victim to one of the celebrity cream scams on an add that I saw on my yahoo home page. It was for a company called Dream Serum. I paid $4.95 & $4.90 for shipping on 2 items plus $2.49 for some kind of VIP.

All of a sudden, I find that I’ve been charged $89.87 & $88.99 two weeks later. I didn’t see those charges until yesterday because I had been traveling. Then I had a call from my card company about more charges from them possibly being fraud. When I called the company this morning, I was told that I had “agreed” to the terms and conditions before I placed my order. I do not believe that because I got caught up in one of those things years ago and I do read now. Unfortunately, where they have you is that it’s your word against theirs. After her starting at 35% refund for the most recent charges and then going to 50% (neither of which was I going to accept) I finally received a full refund on the most recent charges. I then spoke with a “supervisor” who again gave me the
whole story about I had accepted the terms. She again started with no refund, then it went to 35%, then 50% and I did finally accept 75%. I let her know that I had googled them and found many reports about their practices.
I still plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and whoever else I can think of. It would be good to add them to your list of companies above. The phone # is 855-778-3026. Unfortunately, I think there is one large company behind all this who is just using multiple names for the fake products. Where they get you is linking them to celebrities. Mine was Savannah Guthrie but I’ve seen the same sort of thing with Kate Middleton & others.

    • Beebee

Same exact thing happened to me. The celebrity was also Savannah Guthrie and like an idiot I trusted the site, in part because of the fact that her name was connected to it. Same money situation, paid 4.95 and 4.97 shipping and handling for my tiny trial sized products. Two weeks later got charged almost 180.00, no new products have come, and I am told it was for the unreturned trial size. I am careful and I read every word of the adds to make sure I am not signing up for some sort of membership. But, unfortunately that’s exactly what I did. I turned down the repeated offers of discounts for both future shipments and partial refund. I finally threatened to report them to the BBB and the rep agreed to a full refund. I then called my credit card company to dispute the charges. She told me to call back if I don’t get my refund within ten days. I am worried though because I didn’t get a confirmation # or email. This was also under Dream Serum and their phone # is 844-616-4504

      • Rachel Vrabel
        Rachel Vrabel

Beebee, if you can, call them back and demand a cancellation email. They will continue to charge you and when you call back they’ll pretend you never cancelled. You’ll want something to be able to show your bank if it comes to that. Good luck! Rachel

    • Mary Jane

Hello I have just been scammed by a company called FINALSKINTODAY. their emails came from ‘skinbillinghelp.com’. The products are named SKIN FINESSE and NEXT SKIN. This is how it happened: There was a newsfeed article on Marilyn Dennis; how she is quitting her TV show to concentrate on a new line of skin care products. I read this article and since I have watched her on TV for years I thought this was on the level. When I followed the provided link I was connected with the above mentioned company. I stupidly accepted an offer (shipping only) on Aug 17 for two skin care products. On August 31 I have two transactions on my credit card totaling $386.87. I called this number 1 855 303 3110 and spoke with one of their representatives. They absolutely refuse to cancel the two transactions dated Aug 31 2018. I cancelled my order and have had my credit card company dispute these payments….PLEASE ANYONE WHO IS TEMPTED BY THESE ADS…DON’T DO IT!!! I have two jars of worthless product which has cost me $386.87 plus I’ve wasted a couple of hours this morning trying to get myself out of this mess.

Velaire anti-aging cream and serum free trail paid 8.90 in S&H on
8/13/18 . Now I have 2 charges on my debit card, one for 67.33 and the other for 67.28. So much for FREE. I tried to call the customer service number on the products box (888)382-7943, was on hold for 45min or more the the line just went dead. Please let others know there’s another facial cream scam going on. Thanks and God bless you.

  • Lisa

BEWARE OF FINAL SKIN CARE free trial – THEY ARE SCAMMERS I thought I was getting a trial skin care cream for just the shipping and handling – to find they charged my credit card over $400.00 dollars on my credit card. They are scammers they were not clear on their terms and conditions listed on their website- they made the process way to easy. I called to get a refund and they just continue to talk over you and would let you get an inch word in there terms and conditions were not clear listed on their on their website. Please be aware of this company they are not legit they wouldn’t even tell me where they are located or provide me with the CEO name , they told me they don’t have a CEO or have a finance department. If you are scammed by this company please report to the BBB there are over 15 complaints of this happening to other customers. Also file a dispute with your credit card company. Stealing peoples hard earned money is to just.

    • Susan Sanders

      Hi Lisa

Same thing happened to me. I posted here on April 25th. Never got my money back. I can’t believe they are still getting away with it. I kept asking the lady for an address and she said they don’t have one. I told her I didn’t know how she slept at night. I reported them to the BBB and FTC but never heard back.

I don’t have a question but a company that scammed my husband. It is Dream Serum, phone number 855-778-3026. $180.00 later

  • Marilyn Hamilton

Gleam and Glow is using Marilyn Dennis as a lure to receive free trial. In the small print it gives you 18 days to cancel. I called 1 866 218 8576 and was told there is no return policy but after much discussion she SAID she canceled my account and told me there would be no charge of $109. I’ll have to a wait and see.

Hi Mary, yes of course! 🙂 Have you checked out my Top 3 Wrinkle Creams? If you just want a great, collagen boosting anti-aging moisturizer, my #2 choice Kollagen Intensiv is an awesome choice! Lifecell is amazing and more of an anti-aging cream that also doubles as a wrinkle filler and primer, it’s a bit more expensive but also a great product. Thanks for your question, Rachel

  • Angie

Well I got scammed also. I ordered a trial of Glamour Gold Retinol Eye Serum and Retinol Face Cream. Paid the 4.94 & 4.97 shipping price for these items. Just looked at my checking acct. I have 2 charges from Capo Skin Cream for $89.94 on 8/26/18 & 8/27/18. Then I have one charge from Skin DRMA Beauty for 84.97 on 8/27/18. The phone numbers reflected on my acct is 844-232-4485 & 844-615-1604. Of course they are closed tonight so I’ll be calling them in the morning. Yes I seen it on Facebook. Ugh!!!

  • Lyn

To give you more scammers! Wellmedia.com and widespread wellness. Been ripping me off since dec2017 and I didn’t know. Certainly no products received. The latest was p/h only from jubile skin. Very angry with myself but did as you said bank cancelled my card so thankyou

  • Rozine Gibson

I went on Yahoo news and they have an advertisement for a facial cream called Jeune Fleur. It is linked to various celebrities. It says that you can receive a free trial but when you put in your credit card number…you are automatically charged for an additional item. The number to cancel is 833-211-5399. This is a total scam!!!

  • Myrna

I got scammed by VitaSilk, $4.98 and $5.98 for 2 small samples, which was OK. Then they charged $115.00 and $119 to my Visa! I called my bank, RBC., spoke with their fraud department, got the charges removed, cancelled my VISA, (I now have to apply for a new one) and the charges were removed from my bank account. These people are crooks and thieves, do not be sucked In like I was.

  • Lynn

I saw a Shark Tank backed add for Lumineri face and eye cream trial on Face Book and sent in for it. It arrived and it was ok but nothing special. The trial said nothing about auto refills. The next month the two products arrived again in a undiscriptive package and I was billed almost $200. I googled Lumineri and found a customer service number to cancel any further shipments. Guess what I got in the mail yesterday? Another shipment of the two products however this time, there was a small piece of paper included with a customer service number, 844-747-9022. I called it and spoke with a nice representative named Jessie. Jessie asked for my cancelllation confirmation number from last month. I replied that I wasn’t given one. She then informed me that she could not refund my money without it. she then processed my new cancellation number so if I receive another shipment, I will be able to send it back and get a refund.

I just got scammed from Juneau Beverly Hills, same thing as everyone else, free trial just pay shipping and handling for 4.95$ i didn’t even realize they had charged me 14 days after their “trial period” until I received a package in the mail with a new moisturizer(a month later), and i looked on my bank statement and found a random charge for $89 that I didn’t know who it was from. I called it and the guy who answered said customer service and when i asked what business i was calling he said a skin cream and weight loss pills! So then i tell him i didn’t know this was a subscription and i want my money back and he said he can’t refund the 1st charge and can only refund 50% of the second charge! After I told him it was a scam he tells me i should of read the terms and conditions, ***hole. I reported it to Better Business Bureau. I’m just so upset! I will call my bank tomorrow and dispute the charge.

Another scam for 14 day trial. I fell prey to it. Grrrr. Ordered cream and eye serum on 7/30/18, received on 8/15/18 (the 16th day) and then was charged $88.87 and $89.03. I did call in and was told that because I did not cancel within 14 days, I was charged the two amounts. Apparently, the information was in the terms, however, I did not receive a confirmation email of my purchase with ANY of those terms. I was told that I could only get a partial refund of $120.00. I agreed so that I could receive the cancellation emails and then called my bank to dispute and replaced my credit card. The phone number is 844-814-8531.

Products: Jeune Fleur Face Cream & Eye Serum

    • Lorie

I just went through the same thing. I had no confirmation or phone number. My credit card company said it is fraud and I’m getting new card and hopefully all my money back. Awful company .

  • Sandy

Some free trial….never saw the faded, very tiny writing at the bottom of the email advising I would have to pay for “FREE” items beyond shipping. The fraud department at my bank advises this is “shady” however it is “legal.”

I’ve already seen VitaSilk in several recent posts here with different phone numbers. The one that was provided in my confirmation email is 1-866-994-5643. I’ve tried some of the other numbers listed here for VitaSilk and you get the same recording with no response. I’ve left messages with no response.

Bank advises they have 3 to 5 business days to respond to my many voice mails after which I can dispute the charges to my card. Unfortunately, unless someone responds back from VitaSilk so I can cancel their “subscription”, my only other option is to cancel the card.

Thank you for sharing this information!

ESSENCE PH EYE and ESSENCE PH SKIN (844) 747-9020 and (844) 747-9021

I too was SCAMMED. I received an phone call saying that they needed to complete my order. I called “Customer Service” the same day that I placed the request to try the product. I was told that I needed to commit to a monthly order or a three month supply in order to receive the “TRIAL”. i told them that i was not committing to ANYTHING and to cancel the whole thing. I no longer wanted to receive the TRIAL. The guy I talked to assured me that my account would not be charged.
Needless to say, i received the product in the mail and my account was credited for the shipping cost. I now show 2 much larger charges for a monthly supply of the product. I immediately called the “Customer Service” and told them what had happened. She (Jasmyn) told me that I did not call and cancel before the 14 day trial was up and I was obligated to pay the charges. She said that she has proof that I placed the order and that they show no record of me talking to anyone. I was livid !!!
She offered to give me a 25% discount, then a 50% discount, then a 75% discount. I told her that I was not paying the charges. I was going to report to my bank that this was a scam and that I was calling the BBB. She then, said that she would put in a request for a full refund and it would take 3 days. —I received a Cancellation email within seconds and also my bank account showed a full refund within minutes. I told her that I better not have anymore issues from this account. I am so skeptical of EVERYTHING already, but this just proves that you can never be too careful.

Add to your list. Phone numbers are bogus and can’t cancel free trial in the 14 day window. Only recourse is to cancel credit card.

  • Becky,Okparaeke

On 5/17/2018,l ordered a free trial for $4:99 for shipping that’s $9:98 for 2products,5/31 my credit card was billed for $93, $93 for the product they advertised was free trials,7/01 l was billed again, called the company essencia and they told me l was supposed to call and notify them after 14 days, this is a big scam, women should be made aware of what’s going on

Melissa, sorry if it’s not on my list, I suggest calling your bank and asking for the number of the company who is billing you, it could be under another name than Essencia. They love to try to “hide” themselves on billing. Good luck! Rachel

    So Far So Good

I ordered from Jeune Fleur Skin Cream 7-23-18. I called today to cancel. 844-814-8531 I spoke to someone immediately and was given an RMA # to return the item. They also sent me an email with the RMA#. I plan on putting it in the mailbox tomorrow. I have to pay the shipping both ways. I am just going to pay and not argue just because I don’t want to have to go to war with this company. Who knows, this might be the needle in the haystack, The Good Guy?!?Maybe? I sure hope so.

    • Steph

Thank you for this information and phone number! I called today to cancel. He was very polite, gave me cancellation and refund confirmation numbers. When I asked if I should return the unused product he said no, that they don’t want me to have to pay for shipping for something that’s not working/not wanted.

  • Lisa

Hi there! If you call back, tell the floor super, you are and will report them to the BBB, Consumer Protection Advocates, etc…maybe that will help?

ordered a trial of Vitasilk and was charged $119,95 on my credit card. I’ve been trying to reach them at 1-855-315-8037. I’ve read your article and will call my bank to try and cancel & explain to them it’s a fraud… I will also try to find out where to report this fraud here in Canada. I hope to get my refund, l don’t earn a good salary and I’m scared they will charge me again.

    • Pat

I fell for this. I did call Vitasilk at 866-991-4195. Cancelled the order. Shortly after I ordered the product I had a Unicef charge for $10.00. Then a KIWI.com charge of $647.83. Neither of them were authorized by me. They test the card with a small charge like UNICEF donation then hit you with a larger one like the KIWI.com. Make sure when you cancel you get their name, Time of call, confirmation number and date. I also got a confirmation by email. My bank reversed both the shipping charges for me and the fraud department is working on the others. Unfortunately I have to get a new card too.

    • Myrna

Me too. Call your bank they will put you through to their fraud department and cancel the charges. I am with RBC and they were very helpful.

  • Lou Ellen Jones

I just got the $4.95 free sample, just pay shipping scam. I cannot find a phone number or valid site because it is listed as Advertisement/Order Only. The company is Essence PH Eye(Revitalizing Eye Lift Serum) and Essence PH Skin ( Hydro Renewal Creme). Please add them. The “free trial” was $86.00 and change for each product. No invoice sent. No company number anywhere on packaging. The bank does not even have the 1-800 number on their info. I am filing a dispute with my bank and have to cancel my card to file the dispute. Thanks for getting this out there. I wish I had found this site earlier.

  • Suzanne

Hi Lisa! I can’t BELIEVE I am in the process of what you are going through. Your situation is a carbon copy! I was on the phone an hour with them last night, and so far, have been several hours this A.M.on the phone, website, bank and the CC card co. What a headache and nightmare this has been! I made a one-time “trial” size purchase of $4.99 and was billed two separate times for $89.95 and $88.98 respectively.
There seems to be a thread of “commonality” with respect to “Purely Organic” of deception, fraud and deceit. To me, unless you have something to hide, why be deceptive, defensive and deceitful? Why not have full disclosure? As I talked to them they were nasty, defensive, and continued to get more aggressive with me the more I demanded corrections to my account with the return of my money.. Upon speaking to their Supervisor, “Felicia,” it was very CLEAR that she was not going to rectify the situation. “Too bad” was her attitude. Sad, sad situation. That’s how they make their money…through deceptive practices such as this! They record our conversations and take our information, and give nothing back in return; how do they lay their heads down on their pillows at night and get a good sound sleep? They must get GREAT commissions for doing their jobs! Lord help them.

  • Shelley

I just got scammed by Vita Silk. I ordered the sample face and eye cream for $4.95 s/h charge. Now 14 days later I have a $119.95 charge for “wowtmuscle.com” I had no idea what this was so I looked it up online and it’s some kind of supplement from a company in England. So I went back to the order confirmation letter I got from Vita Silk and when I got to the bottom in faded, tiny print was the message about “Diet Plus” that would be mailed to me and if I didn’t cancel in 14 days they would charge my account. I didn’t receive any diet pills, only the face cream. The company that charged me for the face cream is the wowtmuscle company. So now I’m on hold at my bank trying to get the charge reversed. I also reported the lot of them to the anti-fraud centre and sent all three companies notice that I am reporting them to the fraud department at my bank, visa and the Better Business Bureau but I’m sure it won’t matter to them, they will just go on stealing from people. so maddening.

I would like to add prime bloom 1-866-201-1963 and peraglow same number. I had an intercepted ad while reading online for the free trial with paid shipping. Nowhere does it say anything about how long the tial is or how much they charge after the fact. I feel so ripped off. Just paid over $100 american….

  • Sandy

Do you know anything about Prime Derma? Do you have their phone number? If you do, please send via email. Thanks so much. I didn’t see the phone number on your list. I cancelled the $5.95 offer. I was not given a confirmation number or anything, so I am concerned.

Sandy, I’ve heard of it, I would keep a close eye on your bank account to make sure they don’t continue to charge you. Get your bank involved if so. If you still have a phone number, I would call back and demand they send you a cancellation confirmation while you’re on the phone. Good luck! Rachel

It’s called Vita Silk eye serum and it was advertised as a shark tank product….any way u have the number for it

not sure who my wife ordered from but the initial charge for shipping and 1st reoccurring charge showed on my statement as Ngoskinformula 877-269-6996 Nv and Ngoeyeformula 877-290-8678 Nv
next charge was simply ngo media, no phone number and for a higher amount. the 877-269-6996 number worked and they asked how the trial was and offered a ton of discounts before finally cancelling both. gave me cancellation numbers that i don’t have confidence in. Talked to bank and they disputed the charges and after talking with fraud, suggested closing account and getting new cards.

How many fraud claims does it take before the credit card companies deny them a merchant account? Seems to me the credit card companies are complicit in the scam billing scheme.
Finally, scammers are now offering you a 50% credit if you don’t report them to credit card cos. 50% OF $95 great profit margin for nothing

  • Karyn

Add Dr. Denese Skin Science to your list since their business practices are designed specifically to RIP-YOU-OFF. Everything about this experience is designed to deceive you by getting “installment” payments out of you for a bill that you paid-in-full, with unclear explanations, and to keep you on the hook for an unlimited time by continuing to supposedly deliver products to you that you did not order. Dr. Denese Skin Science may be skirting the line of legality – but make no mistake – their goal is to take your money by deceptive means.

I saw Dr. Denese Skin Science’s special offer on TV. They offered a selection of skin care products for the seemingly reasonable price of $59.95. Everything from the advertising to the online purchase indicated that the price for their 7-piece, 90 day collection was $59.95 – period. They refer to it on their website as “Our Best Offer,” and say “Maximum Results Collection Reg $190,” with a line through the $190, another indication that you were getting the package for $59.95. I ordered the package and they delivered.

Then much to my surprise, I started getting regular bills from Dr. Denese Skin Science. By some lucky accident, the credit card I originally used was lost and therefore cancelled, so they did not get the chance to pull their scam on me, but it could still hurt my credit. I was clear that I had paid the $59.95 that I agreed to pay. So when I got their “Priority Message” from their “EXPRESS RESPONSE DEPARTMENT” with “RESPONSE REQUIRED,” a collection notice telling me that I owed an adidtional $119.90, I called. I knew immediately that I was onto a scam when they said, “You got the 90-day supply and you only paid for the first 30 days. The bill is for the next 60-days.” WHAAAT??!!

Dr. Denese Skin Science RIPOFF ARTISTS continue to assert that I own them an additional $119.90 for a product for which I was 100% CLEAR that I agreed to pay and paid $59.95. And for all their “explanation” of their business model online, while they continued to bill me TWICE for a bill I had already paid, the NEVER delivered any additional product.

So here’s the deal: sign-up for Dr. Denese Skin Science and you will be billed 3 times what you thought you agreed to and at some point in this vaguely defined process, they will deliver you more product for which you will be billed 3 times what you never agreed to, and if you don’t put a stop to it, the Dr. Denese Skin Science RIPOFF ARTISTS will milk you dry!!!

  • Joyce

I ordered the free trial for Dr. Oz face cream, there was
nothing on the add that stated I only had 14 days to cancel anything so I thought that if I liked the product that I would have to contact them to order more at the regular price but then I got my bank statement today and there is a $119.92 dollar charge for another order plus three other charges to my checking account from them $6.95 – $4.95 and $2.95 for shipping and handling of the free samples. I called them at the
1-844-513-7326 number and they told me to send the samples back to P.O. Box 7109 even though I had used
some of it and they would refund the 119.92 when they received the sample product back, in the mean time I am
now over drawn on my checking account and they said to
bad that wasn’t their problem. I have talked to the band about this and they said that it isn’t fraud and the only way to stop the charges is to cancel the Debit
card and they would issue a new one and they would flag
the account in case they try to charge it again.
We are 76 years old and it seems like everyone is out
to cheat us in anyway that they can, I suppose it was silly to order the samples in the first place at our age but even though we are old we sort of want to look our best once in awhile, I already have other problems, I have breast cancer, the Chemo did not let my hair grow back, so on top of everything else I have not hair,I have to have a Masectomy bra, a wig and I thought maybe at least I might make my face look a litte better, actually I am not that wrinkled for my
age, my skin is just very dry because of the Chemo and I thought that cream would help, How stupid can I be to trust that company, Good Old DR. OZ right !!

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Joyce, I’m so sorry this happened to you on top of everything else! Make sure you don’t have any additional charges. If you were billed more than one s&h fee, they may have signed you up for multiple free trials. These scammers use Dr. Oz’s name to sell their bogus creams, he actually is not involved. It’s appalling they get away with this, especially with the elderly. I hope you find resolution. Best of luck to you! Rachel

First of all thank you for your blog. I am not on Facebook but came across yours when looking for help regarding what I figured was a scam and mess I got myself into. I ordered a sample of face cream from Youth Skin Forever, out of Quebec Canada which I didn’t know at the time. Of course I receivced the one and only small sample and then noticed two charges on my credit card for $89.94 and $94.88. I immediately contacted my CC company and had the charges reversed which they did. However next month two more charges, and again reversed. Now the company sent their information and now back again I am dealing with trying to cancel this mess. I have read your steps to follow however having trouble contacting the company as all of their information goes no where. Let me know if anyone has dealt with this company and I will proceed with the steps and again contact my CC company to see if they can give me any information on how to contact them. Will keep you posted and will inform you of any info received that we can add to the list! Thank you again

Colleen, I reported Purely Organics to North Carolina Department of Justice because if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck it is a duck. This is a scam to gets people’s money. This company is not legit. I will cooperate fully to get this scam stopped. I think the owner may be Colleen Jorgensen. It is very difficult to research and of course as we’ve all experienced the company is not forth right. I wish you the best.

Sunny, the number for Glamor Gold Retinol Face Cream is 844-883-6640. The charge on my bank account said AntiAgeDerma 844-883-6640 same number same company. They did reverse a pending charge now waiting to see if they refund me the other charge.

  • Shirley

Liva Derma retinol face cream 844-303-4065

When I asked to speak to supervisor she asked why. I said to discuss business practices and she said the wait would be long but one could call me back. I canceled the account, but as of now they still have my money. 😡

  • Sue Hillrich

I ordered a “free trial” of Anti Age Derma. Free trial is not free! After you pay the $4.94 s/h you are billed monthly. I saw a $94.88 charge on our checking account as pending and when I looked further down the list found another charge on June 22nd for $89.94. I immediately call the number listed in the charge summary 844-883-6640. Was told I had 14 days to cancel my subscription. Told her I never saw a subscription in their terms and I demanded they cancel my subscription as I did not authorize it, demanded a full refund of pending transaction of $94.88. She said she could refund 75%, I told her no that was not acceptable I wanted 100% refund and I wanted 100% refund of $89.94 from June 22nd. She said she could only give me 75% I said no that was unacceptable I demanded 100% refund. And she had better cancel my subscription! I told her that their actions were totally fraudulent and plus if you have a monthly subscription why they don’t send their products out? She asked if I wanted her to send me my shipment? I said NO I want her to cancel my subscription in full and demanded a full refund of both charges and asked for a confirmation number or email. She said I’d get an email but after looking I never got any email from them. So I made her give me her name and spell it for me plus she gave me her agent #. I immediately called my bank, explained what had happened and the lady was very nice. Told me first to try and call the company and cancel everything. I told her I had just done that and demanded they give me 100% refund of both monthly charges and that I was going to dispute the charges as fraud. The bank agent said the company had just reversed and deleted my pending transaction and I should wait 3-5 days to see if they refund the June 22nd charge of $89.94. She said maybe they will follow through since the pending charge had already been reversed and deleted. So I will keep checking my bank account for the other credit. If I don’t see it in 5 days I will call my bank back and dispute the June charge.
DO NOT BUY ANTI AGE DERMA!! 844-883-6640

You may want to add Skin Flow and Final skin Phone No. 1855 306 5954. They have misleading ad for a free sample. They charge the postage and then send you the real product instead of a sample and then charge the full amount for the product and if you don’t cancel they keep sending the same product each month. I returned the second shipment to:

    P.O Box 1108 North York Ontario M3J 0L2.

There is no company name. If you google skin flow /final skin you will see their ad.

    Hi Carol,
I also bought “the trial” for Purely organics, but they charged me a $2.49 fee in addition to the two $4.95 fees, they said it was the “membership fee”…i ordered on June 6, received my shipment on 12th, on 17th my card was ‘pending a charge of $89.95’..i didnt see it until the 21st. (I usually look at my snail-mail copy, )for some reason i looked online, called the company immediately!! NO REFUNDS…U SHOULD HAVE READ THE AGREEMENT! We will refund you the $2+…the first rep i spoke to didnt know or (acted like a moron) about the ‘restocking fee’ IF a person sends a product back..i told her she really needs to study what shes ripping ppl off & how!!
I was fuming mad!! 2nd call, i was promised my full refund..and wrote name confirmation email down…
3rd call…this girl had no clue!! I pretty much knew what to say & WAS getting $$$ back…at least some of it! She put me on w/a Floor Supervisor.. i had to find my previous notes, she was insistant on the girls’ name i had spoken to the 2nd time..or 0 back!
Finally..as she said..there isnt anything we can do, it IS a legit charge…i saod the girls name w/the email she gave me!!!! Ha!!!
She offered me 35%refund..which i knew was all i was going to get..i took it!! I received an email within 10 mins confirming this..& the $$ was back in my acct the very next day!!!!
    They’re awful to deal with!!
I also reported to the PA BBB, & Office of Attorney General, /Bureau of Consumer Protection..they need more info, which i will happily provide what i have & can obtain on here!
    Best Wishes,
    Lisa in PA

I made a purchase of Cosmedique and was scared that there’s a lot of scams over the internet and I will be one of them that when you tried to call them you will directed with a different company. I immediately call the number stated on their website and gladly, the number is working and I spoke with their representative. I then surely confirm that this company is legit. I was really scared of this scam thing. They have an email and phone customer service which I’m glad that I may be able to reach them.

  • Chris Camm

First of all, thank you for all your hard work compiling the list of companies and phone numbers.
    Here’s another number:
    888-312-9545
    Company name:
    1. Lumineri Eye
    2. Lumineri Skin.
    Websites:
    1. shinyeyelook.com
    2. shinyskinlook.com
Of course, there are no websites. If you search these web addresses, you are directed to sites about how to get rid of shiny skin, etc.
During the cancellation process, my customer service representative tried to get me to change my mind by:
    1. Telling me that his mother had used it for a while and her skin was wonderful and why would I not want skin like hers.
    AND
    2. Asking me if the cancellation had anything to do with money. If so, he could apply his employee discount to my monthly subscription.
I did as you suggested and asked for a confirmation of cancellation email. I also asked for his name. He gave me his first name, the first letter of his surname and HIS EMPLOYEE NUMBER!!!
    Hope this helps other people

Purely Organic Cosmetics phone number 855-412-3133
I ordered this for the 14 day trial that states you can TRY for 14 days. I haven’t had it for 14 days and I find two charges on my bank account for 88.98 and a second charge of 89.95!! I called them to complain and demand a refund. They offered me up to 75% off on “future orders” I said no, I want the current charges refunded. They claim them tell you about the 14 day trial includes the mailed time. This made me furious. After me making demands of refunds the gave me 50% off the two charges, which I finally took after calling them 3 times. So I got 50% of the initial subscription charges and canceled said subscription. This thing cost me $89.47 PLUS the 4.95 x 2 . What a RIP!!!!im going to call the Attorney General and report this scam!

Hello ladies! (and gents) I regret I did NOT put the cancelation reminder on my calendar. That is my “usual” whenever I accept any FREE TRIAL which rolls into a monthly charge..I always cancel in time. HOWEVER, this one was for 10 days, come on! I barely received the item.

    Nonetheless, Here’s the skinny
855-412-3133 is their number on my banking statement for the S&H I incurred for the “FREE PRODUCT”
I spoke with Simone who DID cancel further charges HOWEVER was wheeling and dealing even down to the monthly cost only being 25% of their original fee…I said, HMMM If your product is so good why would you UNDERSELL it? And THEN I asked for a total refund on the NEW SHIPMENT (not yet received) because (yes, i DID NOT cancel in time)…but, give me your supervisor, the physical address and the correct website address. Simone says the supervisor will have the same information and I said, nonetheless, I would LIKE to speak with someone or write a letter. SO…she puts me on hold..goes back and says she will offer a 35% refund on the two charges $88.98 and $89.95. I said I will gladly take that and please, STILL give me the address and ph# and website.
    855-412-3133 and
    https://purelyorganiccosmetics.com/pages/refund-policy

    refund page

    physical address:
    610 Pembrook Road #10684
    Greensboro, NC. 27408

    I’ve sent in my email
    [email protected]

for the refund and I pray I will receive it ASAP (3-5 days) per their policy. I hope this will help others. I am NOT the usual fall for a scam kinda chick…my bad for not canceling ASAP! That’s what I usually do to prevent scenarios such as this

    Good luck,

    Hi Rachael!!
Thank you so much for sending me your Ebook, i appreciate that!!! As well as your recent exfoliating recipe, i cant wait to try that!!
I have guess you could say ‘acne’ or Folliculitus x 14 years, it started after i handled my things rmthat were stored in my former landlords badement. There was a foul odor coming up to my apartment thru the sewer areas & under the sink in bathroom. He denied this for months, finally i had my HUD Inspector come look.. sure enough, sewage was coming in from the neighbors basement!! (My landlord had a list of repairs HUD wanted done, he failed to tell me he was selling the property & was trying to “get me out” as cheaply for him as possible, he had these neighbors harass me x8 months prior to beong forced by HUD to relocate within 23 days w/no assistance. (Having my SSI as my income, less than $700/monthly at that time.
Dont get me wrong..i dont complain about my income, or the gove/state..which provides me w/these things..because i honestly need them to survive on my own, and appreciate & respect what i do have & receive!!
I have been to a dermatologist that tried different creams & endless antibiotics.. my Family Doc, as well. My skin has gotten so scarred.. & tough, ppl stare i even got asked “if i have the Michael Jackson disease?”. I kinda wanted to go off on that guy..but didnt speak my mind 10-12 yrs ago.. now…lol, my toungue & i arent on same page at times!! Ha!!
If you could suggest anything else. ..please do???
Or anyone?? Have a great weekend!!

Vivid and Vivid Eyes creams should be on your list! They say it’s Kelly Ripa’s line of face creams. Phone number (855) 412-3144

Hi..hope u all had a nice July 4th!! I have another update on my scam, i called ‘Purely Organic’ again, (their reps must not be trained well, this girl simply told me I would have to speak w/her Supervisor, ..EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!!!! 😊 She questioned me about WHO i spoke to & how they authorized a refund, ..i hesitated..(being far from organized, i found my notes from my previous call, Alexis even gave me an email confirmation ##…This Floor Super offered me a 35% refund. .i took it..& i asked her IF she knew how many reports have been filed w/the BBB & Consumer Protection Agencies about their scams??…she said “just because u feel that way, doesnt make it a scam, or a non-legitimate charge, you will be arrested for making fraudulent claims on ur credit card, if you say u didnt agree to our terms.”
I did receive a confirmation email ..so i will see if any $$ is refunded on my card!

I also was at a medical website & up pops this..”Kelly Ripa tells the truth finally”!!…and its the same ad.. same pics…only the name & location have changed. “TRYBELLAIRESKIN.COM” located in Las Vegas, NE..PHONE ## 855-594-3351.
    Same exact ad!!!

I fell for the Purely Organics scam too. Their products are Pure Eyes and Release Cream.
    Phone number 855-412-3133
I told them I was extremely allergic and they immediately cancelled the product and sent email verification.
    Hope this helps someone.

I found out that I have been a victim of the scam this Wednesday by receiving my Mastercard bill (the “samples” had been ordered around May 24 and there was no invoice in the package indicating the actual price or electronic invoice once I placed the “sample” order). I called my credit card company right away to contest the charge (by then I did not know that a second charge had been made) and it was clear that the employee I spoke to knew more about that kind of scheme then me. Since then, I have talked to two more senior employees (fraud and transaction contestation) and were also both very knowledgeable about such scheme, but they are also not willing to help me. I am in Canada and in view of the fact that the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police has declared such scheme a fraud) I am appalled that Mastercard cannot do more. It is apparently the same with VISA. Is anybody aware of a class action procedure against any credit card company on the basis of collusion of credit card companies in the States or in Canada?

Also, I received a second shipment of the products. Since then I have cancelled the order through Skin Flow and Final Skin and received confirmation by email. Has anybody shipped the products back at that point to the PO Box address that came with the shipment. Again, there was no invoice and no company name.

This kind of scheme is clearly created to steal from women. If it was aimed at men and worked at such scale, don’t you think the issue would be solved faster?

I think that it is through solidarity that we will work this out.

  • Phoebe K

Hi Bruce, I was sorry to read how you were taken advantage of. The same thing almost happened to me with a cream supposedly endorsed by the Shark Tank. It turned out the scammers were illegally using copyrighted material (stars from The Shark Tank and The Shark Tank logo) to perpetuate their scam. This is a common practice among these scam artists. Zuckerberg most likely had nothing to do with this scam. They just used his name to make their scam seem legitimate.

  • Marissa

I’d like to cancel my luxe Revival cream. I really can’t afford it. So is there any way to cancel my order for good?

  • bruce

i ordered the new chan/zuckerberg face cream, they also included and charged me for the eye cream (essencia) free trial (paid shipping for both). the trial date passed by two days and i was billed $94.00. i called 844 608 9649. the agent i spoke to told me i would receive a 50% discount. considering that offer insufficient, as i wanted a 100% refund, i asked to speak to a supervisor. natalie #417 said they would not accept a return or refund my money. she would not connect me with her manager and hung up ending the call with “have a blessed day!” i immediately contacted my financial institution, filed a fraud claim and canceled my card to avoid further charges. it concerns me that a couple (chan/zuckerberg) worth $500 billion dollars would not refund $94.00 to a person who simply wanted a “free” trial of their product. there was nothing on the receipt in the package about canceling within 14 days. i was told it was on their website. i know this is a site for women but, even some men care about their skin. i certainly did not expect this type of treatment from a fledgling company of such notoriety.

Address I have for DERMA VIVA IS: Fulfilment House, PO Box 4008, Zurich, Switzerland. I tried to post back the products by registered post but my local post office would not take the package as the airlines don’t take liquids!!!!!! So I will visit another post office and claim that I’m posting jewellery or something else.

I’m IN Ireland too. I’m down €285 so far. I’m in the middle of cancelling my cc and hoping the bank will refund me. Cant believe I fell for this. Did you get sorted? Many thanks

I emailed the appropriate ‘cancellation email’ i received a computer generated email in response, asking me to call & speak to a Representative. I did that..she obviously didnt know about their “restocking fee” along w/a refund.
She said there is “NO SUCH THING”..and u could hear other ppl laughing..THAT made me mad!!
I didnt catch her name, or grrrr!! I usually keep my cool in these situations, but im rebuilding my credit, and $100 to me is alot of money!! (Very limited income!)
2nd call 2/26, the Alexis said they posted the refund to the wrong address & it will be done, 5-7 days. I asked for a Confirmation ## & email…as they sent me on the 21st; she have me some numbers that have nothing to do w/my account, ref ##, customer ##, my address, AND their addresses are different on Credit card is High Point, NC..on product & shipping label is Greensboro, NC. I just received my package from Skingenics. After reading about all the people that were scamed,I just couldn’t believe it. I’m afraid I am also being scammed. I am a bit ahead of them ,so I’ll start my calling who I have to.I have a phone number, where it takes me is another story.

  • Silvana Fox

I fell for a scam. It was for Vitasilk. I found a number and called to cancel. Got my confirmation email and they even refunded a small amount however I JUST received another bottle. I immediately called them and they assured me there wouldn’t be another charge and my account was indeed cancelled. We shall wait and see I guess. If you would like their number let me know. I didn’t see it on your list.

have phone for Glamor Gold–Superbeautiful face cream 1-844-839-5045 and for
Glamor gold- Retinol Eye Serum 1-844-789-6650.
I ordered trial sample or so I thought and then was charged 84.97 for each one. I have cancelled but they will not refund money as they said I had to pay for the product was not a trial sample. I will not be falling for anymore of these shams. Hope this helps others.

  • Fran Knott

Thanks so much for the number. But, I feel compelled to add . . this free trial Nu Youth may also be associated with a “scam” computer protection service attempting to “sell” a contract. As soon as I hit “submit’, bells and whistles went off on my laptop and my computer was locked up. A message displayed on my entire laptop presumably from Microsoft’s computer protection service indicating that I had been hacked and I needed to call number on screen for customer service. Long story and I was quite tired and got myself out of contributing money to their bank account.

Generally, I never access websites that are not secure (https).

Take heed everyone – hacking is everywhere.

  • Pam

I didn’t see InstantElixir on your list. Their number is 1 888 409 4430. They have a great scam going with a “free” trial which as you can guess isn’t a free trial after I was charged $89. Don’t fall for it, like I did. I called and cancelled on the 14th day of the “trial” once I realized what they were doing but no luck getting a refund. I did dispute with my bank and got a new card issued. Never did I see the terms they speak of nor did I see this agreement in writing thereafter. It’s a shame businesses think this is the way to do business. Should have looked here first!

  • Marilyn

Avila Skin Care, phone # (877) 948-7683. It showed up on my charge card as “DJJEFFY*GetAluantiWS8779487683.” I was charged $98.41 exactly 14 days after I was charged $4.95 for shipping my “free” AVILA Serum Trial. They canceled my account and won’t charge me further, but they refused to refund the $98.41. I am working with the Fraud and Dispute Departments of my credit card to overturn the charge. The company is NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and NONE of my web browsers could access the website.

  • Lisa Reedinger

Hey there! I also fell for this “kelly ripa leaving morning show & look how young she looks” u can look THIS GOOD!! HA!!
    NOWHERE did i read u must cancel within 14 days..also, i was charged $4.90, $4.95 & $2.95 –ohh a sign up fee.. then today a $89.95! Hells bells!!!! (Sorry)
I sent my cancellation notice, i received an email stating to call them..i did, out of ALL the fees…this Sales Rep offered to refund me the $2.90!!!! Are you kidding me???
She wouldnt tell me ‘when’ my next cream would arrive, or couldnt..i was pretty hot by this point..told her..i certainly hope its lined in GOLD!!!
The thing that hot me so pissed..is im on a very limited income ($775/monthly) & live alone..so this was like a ‘special treat’ for me! Plus at 54..i might have wanted to look 35 again?!? Lol
I certainly will file a complaint w/every single organization i am able to!!!
Has anyone started any “class action lawsuits”..?? I dont know if thats an option..however, if so..count me in!!
Thanks for having this website..this is a wealth of info..i appreciate it!!

Another “Shark Tank” approved product for $4.95 S&H: Essence PH. You get the Eye Cream & the skin cream but pay separate S&H. Nowhere is it mentioned that there’ll be $86.95 & $89.95 billed but 12 days later, there it was. Low and behold, other unauthorized charges started showing up the same day as well (Amazon, Starbucks, etc). I’ve disputed this with my bank but need to further call and demand a refund as my bank stated it was a temporary refund.

The insert with the products has this info:
Essence PH Skin- (844) 747-9020 or [email protected]
Essence PH Eye- (844) 747-9021 or [email protected]

Oddly enough, the charges from my bank are from GentleSkin Eyerestore: (877) 631-3228 for both charges ($89.95 & $86.95).

I’m calling all three numbers tomorrow and have already canceled my card. I emailed and am waiting on a response.

  • Rita Arnold

On May 31, 2018 I noticed an unauthorized chg on my online bank statement. I immediately called my bank branch manager. He backed out the chgs the same day. The next day the chg appeared again. I called the branch mgr again and he turned it over to the Dispute Resolution dept. After a week or 2 they contacted me and said they found it to be an authorized charge. This cannot be true I have never heard of this company nor ordered or rec’d any pdt from them. They told my bank that I would have to PROVE my cancellation. I cannot provide such proof because there was never an order made by me. I have expressed this to my bank. Why do I have to PROVE a purchase or cancellation??? Shouldn’t they have to prove the PURCHASE? I never rec’d an email purchase confirmation or shipping info as I do with other purhases. I also did not receive an email from my bank as I do when I make any purchase over $50.00. I have cancelled my card and rec’d a new one. Reported to FTC….BBB and State Atty office. Also looking for more websites to post on. I am so Angry! This is NOT a case of ordering or receiving a product…..This is out right THEFT!!! Bank is reopening dispute.

Yikes Rita! So sorry… sometimes I feel like most of the banks don’t help their customers at ALL! And I’ve seen people cancel their cards only to receive a collections letter months letter. It’s crazy what they get away with. I hope you find resolution, bank should have been able to give you a good number to call these crooks and cancel for good. If they can’t even give you a phone number or help you cancel, that makes me wonder why they uphold their bogus charges. Good luck! Rachel

I fell for the free trial offer of Instant Elixir Ageless Eye Revitalizer. My USAA credit card had been charged twice before I noticed. Like most people, I did not realize this would happen when I ordered the trial for about 5.00. I was able to get a full refund and want to describe how I did it.

I called 1-888-409-4430 and explained I didn’t authorize any subsequent charges after the trial. Phone rep said I did. I said I wanted refunds for the two charges made after the initial trial. I explained that I would dispute the charges and win. (USAA is great about the dispute process and have been with them for 30 yrs). The conversation morphed several times from 30% refund to 75%, etc. I did not play. I continued to state that I wanted full refunds and that I would win a dispute with my credit card company. At no time did I give any hint that I would accept less. She kept having to “check with her supervisor”, but she was back so quickly that there’s no way she was “checking” with anyone. I got full refunds of both charges and had my email screen open so I could see that I received notice of the refunds. She gave 2 confirmation numbers. I stated during the conversation that the offer was a scam and that experiences like mine were all over the internet.
My advice is DO NOT PLAY, CONTINUE TO INSIST ON FULL REFUNDS, PROMISE TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES, SAY YOU WILL WIN.
Good luck, hope this helps someone.

Instant Elixir – 888-409-4430 “Free Trial” offer turned into a charge of $178 and some change and was told that my “free trial” began the day I ordered even though it took 1 week to get the product. I used the product for, what was 14 days of receiving it and when I called to cancel and get a refund was told I couldn’t because I was past “THEIR” 14 days. They also used false advertising in my opinion by putting their offer with Laura Spenser’s article on her skin care products so it actually makes you think you are ordering Laura’s line in a “free trial.”

My grandmother asked for five bucks to try this product a month ago. The way it was explained was it was five in shipping to try the product, and we had a period to return it if we didn’t like it. I missed that they charged me ten, five per product, and just yesterday I got charged 85 more, called and cancelled, only for them to charge me 90 again today for the other product. The way they have it set up, even if I had called and said my grandmother didn’t like it, I would have only cancelled one cream. Be safe out there.

Also, my bank advised me to cancel my card, they can’t charge me anymore now but they can refund me. I’m not giving up on this fight.

  • Annette

I got scammed by skin glow facial this is the company they tried to charge my credit card $89.00
I ordered Bella radiance face and Bella radiance eye for $4.97 each it states it a sample and nothing about charging your credit card.

Just one more thing that I think, hope, would help others in this situation…. I found this page impossible to find without my search engine landing me here. Perhaps, make this page (with all the scam phone numbers, etc.) more (or more easily) accessible from your home page. Truly, not trying to be critical, just helpful. All the best.

Parents were scammed out of about $300 by a “company” going by the name (this week) of Derma-Luminous. Bank gave their phone number as 1-877-202-6409. Parents have not, and are not going to call this number. However, this is the phone number the bank gave them. They just had the bank cancel their card, to leave no way to be further taken. Hope this helps someone.

Here’s another number for the Vita Lux Skin Scam.
877-499-6151. I never ordered the sample but it was charged to my credit card on 03/29/18 for $4,97. I missed seeing the charge and on 04/13/18 I was charged $94.97 for a subscription. I disputed the charge with CitiCard. On 05/26/18 I received letter and documents from Citi saying the charge would be reinstated because a USPS tracking # showed a delivery to my house. I never received any items but suspect a mail fraud, possible junk mail sent first class to assign a tracking number. Still fighting this.

(888)409-4430. They don*t tell you what you*re paying for it! They say to call customer service at that phone #. When you call, you are on hold forever or you wait for a call back that I never got!

  • Elizabeth Hudson

THANK YOUY so much for your list. I just cancelled my subscription to Nu Youth. Here’s the number:

    877-298-1919

  • Sharon Carter

Atheno Face Serum/Eye Cream 877 882-1820. I’ve ended up paying $89.95 for the serum plus 4.95 for shipping for several months. After realizing these were ‘orders’ not samples I finally got them to agree to give me a 75% credit for the current month only. So my loss is about $310. I’m also contacting my state’s Attorney General’s office and the Better Business Bureau. Good luck to each of you who have been taken in too.

  • Hannah Ung

OMG-look @ how much $$ we’d lost for our stupidity over these scams, lesson learned! We’re always beautiful, no matter what age, no need to dap on our faces those fake products. No more online ads!

  • Nancy Stamm

    Instant Elixir 1-888-409-4430

Saw a “free trial” for just the shipping and handling. Before I even received the product, I was charged over $80.

I called to cancel, had to call several different numbers to get to the right person. They cancelled and refunded my money.

For the next three months I was charged $4.95. I had to call again to request a refund and cancellation. We will see what next month brings.

  • Betti

I got scammed by glamour gold. Two separate charges for $98 each. I called the number listed on my bank account and was given the run around and offered a discount on my next order
I lost it! I don’t have that kind of money to this around. What a scam

  • Bonnie Kennedy

Thank you so much for your comment. I am partly to blame for my scam. My order date was 4/22/18 and I received my trial product on 4/27/18. Day #14 is 05/06/18.
Today 5/06/18, Sunday, I email my cancellation and RMA request to “[email protected]”. I received a response that my request #4529 has been received and is being reviewed. Also, I did call their phone number 1.833.657.0555, and a voice mail responded that their business hours do not include Sunday.
On Friday, 05/04/18, withdrawal from my bank in the amount of $119.95 from Aglesspro. Also withdrawal of $119.92 from Shine Skin.
And now the fight is on. It is day #14 since my order. Tomorrow I make my phone call to them and then go to my bank and deny the charges.

Hi, I left message 10 mins ago asking for 800# to cancel Adelina Skin Care cream and serum. I ordered via my credit card and pd shipping of 4.99 and 4.97 for the two items. I rec’d and do not want to continue. I found the number on my credit card statement as you recommended. It is:
    888-599-5086 for the cream and

877-771-6781 for the serum. listed as a Colorado company. will call Monday and see what I find out when cancelling. I will also file a dispute w/ my credit card company if they don’t cancel auto shipments. Thanks Linda Taylor

  • Linda Taylor

Hi, unable to find #800 number to cancel “Adelina” moisture cream and serum. I ordered both with 4.95 each off my credit card. It is not shown on your list?? Any idea what’s up with them?

    Thanks for your help

  • P Linville

I have been being billed for a Propureskimcare cream, but I ordered one called glamor gold, I have tried but there is no way to contact these people Do you have a number?

  • Timothy Kellogg

I saw an ad for a “Free Bottle” of Krasa Skin Care online and ordered it for the $2.98 S&H. The cream came in and I gave it to my fiance. Today I was informed my credit card had blocked a “suspicious” charge for $103 from “Youngerlooking-skin”. I searched the web and found several sites talking about this type of scam. I found your site and didn’t see their phone number so I called my bank back and they gave me the number (844) 612-5872. I called and was informed my 14-day free trial had expired, but they could extend my trial period to May 20th (total of 30 days). I took that offer as they said I could only cancel during my free trial period. I told my bank to keep my card blocked until I get the issue resolved, just to be safe. I’ll call Krasa back on Monday to cancel and see how that goes.

  • Katrina

I’ve just been hit by Total Age Repair for another cream that I didn’t order, I only paid £4.99 for a trial offer? Can’t see it on your list, does it come under anothrr name please?

    CANCELLATION CONFIRMATION

    Hello Elaine,
This email is to confirm the cancellation of your ProtectPackage™ postage guarantee.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us again. Customer Service: +44-20-3608-6397 or email us at [email protected]
This is the email I received on asking BeautyandTruth for confirmation that they would not send out any more orders – that I wanted to cancel completely. The email above only confirms that the postage protection ?! is cancelled. I phoned BandT customer services only to be put on hold…and hold….and hold..I am going to my bank to ensure no more money is sent t this “company.” They are total scammers..

  • Cindy Addison

Glamor Gold – I got the sample for $4.95, but they keep calling me to verify my cc number. When I look them up on my credit card bill for the $4.95 charge, the 800 number is no longer in service. However, when I try calling the number back that they keep calling me from I just sit on hold with music playing. I want to stop this prior to my 14 day free trail is over. Any suggestions? Of course like other post the packaging has no phone numbers or addresses to refer too.

  • Patsy Peton

RESOLVED and I am surprised. Received “free” trial product from PureRevives (charged $4.95 postage and handling). My credit card was charged $119.95 within 2 weeks. I immediately contacted the company and they did cancel “subscription,” which, of course, I did not request anyway. I returned the products (at my cost) and waited, and waited. I contacted the company again (by phone and email) several times and was told the refund was in process or on the way. It took over a month to actually receive the refund, but it finally posted to my credit card today (a process that should have taken about 3 days.) I kept an accurate and detailed “paper trail,” kept bugging the company, and filed a claim with the Colorado BBB. A lot of work, but it paid off – I was refunded my full $119.95.

  • Susan Sanders

The names used for mine was also Final Skincare and Flow Skincare.
    Phone # 877-296-6889 & 855-715-6422
My bank says they can only cancel my credit card to prevent future charges and keep my email confirmation I received from these scammers.

  • Sharon Dickey

For Instantelixir Proactive Repair & Instantelixir Ageless Eye Revitalizer I responded to a free trial offer for $4.95+shipping & $4.90 + 1/2 price shipping. Fifteen days later charged $89.98 & $88.99 but I didn’t catch it until I had a pending charge for those same amounts 04/35/2018. I called the number on the package 1 888 409 4430 & was told I would get a 50% refund on the shipment in progress (nothing could be done about the charge for the original trial offer) & to just keep the shipment once it arrives. I was given cancellation numbers for each product & would get a confirmation email within 48 hours. Hopefully, both the email & refund will show up. My eyes are open now!!! Thank you for your hard work.

  • Susan Sanders

This should be illegal!! I can’t believe all the comments here. This just happened to me too and I am livid!! When they sent me the sample, there was no packing slip and there was no company name. I knew that wasn’t right. They will send you the sample, but then they keep charging your credit card large amounts (so far $374.00 CDN) and when you call them, they are very condescending and tell you that you have actually signed up for a “subcription” When you ask where this so called agreement is, they say it is right there and that you should have read the agreement. . They will not give your money back even though I didn’t receive any more product! We need to fight these scammers!!

  • alison

Free trial of hydraclaire cream . tried to cancel Got the Phillipines despite it being 5 am on a saturday. was on the phone on the stated 1800 number for over an hour. Finally got an email confirmation that “no further orders would be sent ” Nothing to say the original free trial would be cancelled Could not get through again to their “customer service” number. They said i ordered a product… no price given .. by not Ticking a box to say I DIDNT want it. Lies and more lies Beware!!!!! I’m not confident that my credit card wont be charges for this product Other reports of scams say this will be $139. I’ve emailed them demanding a reply but none forthcoming.

  • Vmoses

    Rachel,
Thank you so much for your blog. I have had these issues before because it’s so hard to tell the difference from a scam and the real thing. When I ordered from Revive Skincare, there was not micro-type disclosure of the fact that it’s a trail, and that your 14 days start from the time of the order. I have been caught in that scam before, and my bank only covered one purchase, and I paid $93 for the add on product that I could not remove from my cart. Red Flag!! It did seem legit this time.

It is so frustrating trying to get that product advertised on Shark Tank. Does this product truly exist??

    Thank you,
    Valerie

  • Sue Johnson

Stupidly I thought I would try the “free samples”. It ended up costing me $148.56 after I tried to cancel. Be sure to read the fine print if you order one of these. It tells you that if you order the sample, you will be billed for the product unless you cancel in 14 days. They were “kind” enough to refund $$35.49.

Never again will I make a mistake to order a “free” sample.

    Another scam phone number-
    Radiant Revive 855-633-0203
I don’t know how I missed it. I always look for the fine print.
Spent an hour , started at no refund, then 30% then 50% then 75% and finally after asking 50 times got supervisor and argued more started back at 35% I laughed, Ended up with 100% refund. Now I am waiting to make sure it comes through.

  • Julie Coulter

Glamor Gold- I thought I was getting a trial
just pay shipping they sent me 2 jars in the same box.
Charged me shipping twice 4.95. last month.

I ordered Made Pure trial and did not realize that the trial was only for 14 days – the site did not say anything about limited time. So I got charged the full price of $89.95 and $84.95 for the two different products I was trying out. I called the phone numbers to cancel – 888-683-0840 and 855-341-3931 – These were from the same company of Made Pure. I did get the subscription cancelled but I have to mail back the products to get a full refund. I was surprised that the service was polite and willing to refund me but will let you know if it actually happened. Thank you for your site, I wish I would have know about it before I ordered these products.

You have to state that you cannot reproduce their terms and conditions. When you call they will say not to dispute as you don’t have a chance. Since they cannot reproduce or include their terms in email correspondence. Nor do they notify when they charge the end of trial. This company is a scam and do not use their worthless product.

Hi All: To all posters on this webpage. I too was scammed by Radiant Beauty / Visible Allure 2801 Washington Rd. suite 107-263Augusta GA 30909.
I paid the shipping & handling charges of $4.95 for the free trial. A short time later I was billed $93 & $94 for the extra bottles that
was shipped without me knowing that these were recurring charges. Calls to their customer # 877-906-6790 fruitless, they refuse to listen,
    keep repeating from a script and refuse to refund and hang up. Today, I did the right thing, call the FTC (877-FTC-HELP);
this is the US federal agency consumer protection agency that will investigate them if many people voice up and complain about them.
DO THE RIGHT THING, CALL THE FTC AND LET’S SHUT DOWN THIS COMPANY – RADIANT BEAUTY AND HAVE THEIR OWNERS PROSECUTED.
CALL TODAY, FTC (877-FTC-HELP)…. A FEW COMPLAINTS TO THE FTC ABOUT THEM WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO HAVE THEM INVESTIGATED….

I’m wondering if anyone has not signed up for a trial but been charged anyway? After I called the company I asked what email they had for me and they gave me an email that started with Jason. EphamereSkinCream.com

    888-9585036
On credit card they were listed as:
    SKIN ANTI AGE
    and
    BEAUTYPDCT
When I called the phone # and rep could not tell me the name of the company. he just said it was a skin care company. Looking up my wife’s name, then he told me the company was Ephamere Skin Cream.

Reported charge as fraud to my CC company. Then discover second set of 86.09 and 97.08 charges, and called the company. Company said it would do me the favor of cancelling the most recent charges and we could keep the cream. CC company told me to return the most recent delivery and send proof to the CC company that it had been returned.

I am a 77yr old woman and tried the initial product from AvanDermNu anti aging cream and AvanDermNu Advanced Eye Serum last year. I did not like the product and did not reorder.

This month (March) I was billed for two shipments without my knowledge and being on a limited income was overdrawn by these charges. I calledthe phone number 888-649-3646 on the packing list (which was only included in one of the boxes shipped to me) to ask for a refund and RMA as stated for return of product. I tried 3 times to make sure I was dialing correct and when the phone was answered I was told it was an automotive shop.

I have asked my bank to look into this and hope the outcome will be favorable.

Can you add skinbeauty 855 532-7102 and skindeal 844 864-2565 to your list? They charged me 219.94 nine days after they shipped the supposed trial of their anti-aging creams. Thank you.

  • P Branno

I just found out my 85 year old mom was scammed out of $100 by Instant Elixir Proactive Repair with this trial for $4.95 then telling her she signed up for a subscription service. She called her bank who called them & they said they would only credit her back 1/3 or $32. Even Citibank wouldn’t help her with a full refund. Shameful. The BBB in NC has 18 complaints & 18 negative reviews all for the exact same reason. Both their addresses are for a post office or a Pack-N-Post, not a real business. I also filed a complaint with the NC Attorney General’s Office. Instant Elixir Proactive Repair # is 888 409 4430. If you look for this product & click on Get my trial it now takes you to another product called Dermal Beauty. Their # is 1-877-276-2064

Their phone no. is 888-214-1859 or 209-832-4884. That is from the credit card statement. Our credit card company said they will assist us in blocking the merchant from receiving funds from our account. Thanks for what you’re doing to help people in these scams!

ETERNEL CREAM SCAM… unfortunately I am one among those that are being scammed by this cream company. I did not know that they will register me as a member which I have to pay $99.00 a month and I have not read any conditions or fine prints that say so, I only noticed it lately that it is being charge on my card. I plan to return the item but I don’t know where to address it . I received the package without any brochure and return address on the box. Thanks for your phone list at least i can call them.

  • Robin

They got me to the tune of just under $400.00. Thank you for the information. I have contacted the company with several choice words and my bank.

  • Nancy

I’m fighting this company right now and will report to the FTC :
    Beautified Serum Lift

I ordered a “free trial” agreeing to pay shipping 4.95. My cc was charge 4.95. I never saw the terms and agreement. Never thought much about it. A month later my credit card showed a charge of $89.95. I called the number listed on the credit card statement 888-523-9593. Spoke to Rachel ? She said I subscribed to a monthly delivery and this initial shipment reverts to full charge after a trial period of 14 days. I told her I never saw a terms of agreement. I had responded to a free offer. She basically told me there was nothing she could do but if I wanted to hold for 15-20 minutes I could speak to a supervisor. I decline to hold and called my credit card. I now have to submit dates and details to them. Add this company and phone number to your list if you like.

    Hello Everyone,

    This company was not on your list but is where my product came from;
    Gozioeyeserum 888 560-4133.

There was another company and have asked my bank to see if they can find a number or web site for these guys. The name of the company is GOLDENS*SMTHANDYOUNG. I was so foolish to do this. I promise never to take advantage of another free trial offer. I do not remember seeing that after a certain time I would be charged full price for the product and that the product would be sent indefinitely .Maybe it was there in tiny, tiny print.

    Derma Viva Skin, telephone: +61 2 8046 6522.
    And Radiant Bloom Cream +61 2 8046 6510
Same; i signed up for the free trial that explicitly advertised “this is not an ongoing subscription – don’t worry you will not be charged a second time”, but sure enough they charged me 2x $130 a month later. I have rung them to cancel my “subscription” and they have promised a refund, but I’m also about to ring my bank because I don’t trust them. Their bank account appears to be registered in Latvia, but their phone number is an Australian number, and I paid in US dollars…

his scam/thief is also using the following product name: trybrillianthydrate 1-888 3084018.
They also used this to bill me Wolf Trading Company same contact phone number. My bank would not provide me with any information for some reason, I asked for documentation that this merchant provided that swayed them into reversing the charges (119.98) and they seemed to go around and about, and have never given me an acceptable response.

Jeunr Fleur is a HUGE SCAM!! It is next to impossible to get a phone number. I found it though. Here: (844) 814-8531 They will offer you a 35% discount then a 50% discount on future orders. Do not fall for it. I’m usually good at not falling for this but I did this one and they charge you around $90 TWICE a month. Please don’t fall for their scan free trial. It is not free at all. Don’t go to the website to try to find answers. Call directly. Get the agents name and number. Ask for a confirmation number and email. Also, all how much you’ve been charged (if you didn’t catch this in time) since they started this. I was gobsmacked! You have to be very Firm to let them know you’re not messing around. If they give you any problems, threaten them with a report to the BBB. I feel so stupid for the money I wasted. ?

  • Eddie

I received a bank alert that my card was charged $89.94 by MPAADVE*MPASKINCREAM which I did not authorize. Good thing there was a number (888)308-8681 located at 808 N. Franklin St #291, FL 33602. They said that I ordered the trial for $4.94 shipping only and that was 15 days ago, past the 14 days period to cancel. I said that had I known this obligation I would have written it down and cancel it before the deadline. I am only living off of social security and a disabled 70 year old elderly. I cannot affort $89.94. That is my food for two weeks. Furthermore, there was no express or implied notice supporting this obligation. Nothing was mentioned about this trial period and $89.94 after. Unless they will add it later in their advertisement. Is there any way I can get my money back? This is a total SCAM, ILLEGAL and outright FRAUD! I will definitely report this to the BBB and the State’s Attorney General’s office. I didn’t see them in you list so you might want to add these monsters.

Same story. Cancelled within 14 days and assured of no additional charges but original trial charge yet later that day my bank alerts me of possible fraud. When I call nouveau to fix, they state “no refunds per agreement” and insist I have no recourse and will not let me talk to a supervisor. I call back, this time they assure me a supervisor will call within 48 hours; four days later, no call. So I call back….NOW they can’t seem to find my account!!!! I wanted to let you and everyone else know that I have succeeded against the shark tank scam Soyeux perfect skin complex and eye serum solution.
My email to them ([email protected]):
I don’t know what kind of scam you are trying to run but I will not ever buy your products, nor will I recommend them. You tried to charge my card for almost $100. My bank is smarter than you.
I will be calling the BBB and reporting your company.
Do not attempt to charge my card as I never agreed to buy anything from you but the sample for the shipping charges only. Nothing your company has sent me told me this was a trial period or anything like that.
    Lose my information.

    Their response today:
    Greetings,

Thank you for your order we appreciate your business! Your account has been cancelled. We have refunded all your transactions. You will not be billed again. Please call customer service if you have any additional questions at 844-495-3442 Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST.

    Thank you

Is Dermiva Skincare Solutions a scam too? I didn’t see it on the list.I just received my “free” shipment. They actually put their address and and phone number on the back of the skin cream bottles. It says their number is 855-830-3088.

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

yes if it was a “free” trial it’s only free for 14 days until they whack you with their full price of around $100 and keep mailing it to you each month until you cancel. Call asap. Rachel

  • Barbara

I don’t see soyeux on your list, they may be going under a different name. Soyeux eye serum and soyeux perfect skin complex my bank let me know they were trying to charge my card for almost $100 but the bank stopped the charge. [email protected]. I see a phone number but left it at work.

  • Bob

I got sucked in on the Nuvaclear scam but it looks like i was able to cancel any further shipments. The phone numbers that worked for me was (855) 217-1345 and 855-217-1108.

I just now sent them an email demanding cancellation and a full refund because I know I did not enter into any agreement with this company to continue taking money from my account, for whatever reason. I also threatened them as you suggested but I threw in my personal attorney for good measure. (No. I’m not rich. I just have legal insurance, so to speak. Comes in handy for times such as these). The last time this happened to me, I just had to say the word “attorney” and they were tripping over themselves to cancel my account. 😀

  • brenda

i was trying your face cream for trial. you took over 90 dollar out of my account and i want it back like now and when i feel like i will let you know after ii try itfor little wile.you will put back in my account now today or i will get a hold of my lawer on tthis asap

Brenda, did you read the blog post you posted this comment on? I’m not the one charging you, my post was a warning about these scams and a list of steps you need to take to cancel! Please go back and read 🙂 I hate to say you’re barking up the wrong tree, but I can assure you it’s not “me” who’s taking your $$$$. Thanks, Rachel

  • Nowak

I signed up for eternal facial serum trial size and moisturizer. Was suppose to cost 4.95 each. I ended up getting charged $100.00 each because I did not cancel. However, i was not made aware of this. The company would do absolutely nothing for me. Two people I talked to were horrible!!!

  • Jane Jones

I have been on the phone with these scammers all day & I am not going to stop until they issue a full refund of $89.98. Every supervisor I’ve spoken with has been rude & given me a different story about the so-called “corporate,” the invisible higher ups that do not talk to customers…..SCAMMERS! The last one was willing to issue a 75% refund “and that’s never been done before…” blah blah yeah right. As soon as I mentioned my bank, she said they are unable to issue a full refund without the bank on the line with me. The amount is pending, so now I have to wait for it to post fully to my account to initiate the dispute. In the meantime, these jerks need exposed all over the internet

After over an hour waiting on the phone (888-409-4430) I was told they don’t take returns or give refunds. Their Negative Option Billing is so well hidden on the website that my bank and husband could not find it. I am filing a complaint with FTC.

I do not see Amazing Skin on your list.SantaAnna,CA

I am fearful of calling after seeing so much about scams.
    Advice?

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Thanks for sharing the number…sure sounds like a scam. Anyone calling they cream “Amazing Skin” makes me raise an eyebrow. I would definitely call your bank and see if they’ve been charging you and get a hold of them to cancel. If it was a “free trial” then it’s 99.999% probably a free trial scam. Rachel

  • Christine Lydon

Yes I’ve been scammed once again!!!!! Second time since January I’ve paid for something only to see its a scam. This Derma Viva advert giving free serum for only the price of the postage so giving my card details to get postage they had me.
Shocked to see two direct debits for €85 and €84taken in one go. They sent an eye cream that I didn’t ask for as well so they had me paying for two products and nothing was free after all. What a cheek. Been onto them but they don’t answer the phone. E.mail from them saying cancellation can only be done over the phone, yes if they bloody answered the dame thing.
Got onto the bank twice and had to change my card number to block them, also the bank have blocked them and will send an E.mail to them to. I’m a pensioner and having half taken was a shock. Never will I buy another thing online. So beweare everyone nothing is free and if it sounds to good then forget it, not worth the sleepless nights. Soooo annoyed .

  • Charla Zutavern

I posted on March 2nd, 2018 about Radient Revive and would like to add their second shipment arrived in less than a month from their first. (Spell check changed my intentional wording about the nasty cream to ‘nasty crew-man’—mistake!
The face cream smells horrible. Do not use this product!

  • Charla Zutavern

I too fell for Radient Revive. I called them to cancel after they had already billed my card for two shipments of the nasty crewman—eye & face. I did receive email cancellations. I then called my cc and they have put the charges into dispute and asked I pay only the 4.95 for shipping which I have done. They will contact RR, but did tell me that if they don’t hear back from RR in 90 days I will still owe the amounts charged. Next step of action I will take is call RR again and tell them I am reporting them to the BBB and the other entity recommended. Then call RR back reporting I have done so asking also for a full refund. I’ll report back on the progress.

  • Laura Wanat

I got the free trial of a product called Instantelixir Proactive Repair and the phone number they have never works! So I sent them an e-mail like 2 days later and told them I don’t want the product and their phone number doesn’t work!! I don’t know how to get a hold of these people! Thank you Laura Wanat [email protected] .com

    Radiant Revive skin cream

very difficult to deal with, they kept trying to push and push. All I wanted to do was cancel a product that I had no idea I had on auto-ship due to a trial sample and I READ THE FINE PRINT.
I had to get their phone number through my bank.

  • Terri

Hi Lee I’m delighted you got a refund..I’m in Ireland who could I contact to try get my money back they have taken €170 from my account tried to cancel the day I ordered and they wouldn’t let me…I’m so annoyed that I fell for this scam

Hi there, I reported to BBB, and company made a refund for me both the shippment for trial (which I didn’t complain or ask for this) and the full price of $98.41. Now I’m just waiting for refund process which take 3-5 business days as company responded to BBB . I’m really happy.
Anyway the strange things is two emails of the confirmation order (trial shipment and the full price) just sent to me, which they should send the date they dispatched. That’s weird.
For my suggestion, if your order was not too long from the submit order day, you may try to report to BBB. I ordered on 1/11, the fully charged appeared on my transaction on 1/27. I called to cancelled on 2/2, called for refund on 2/22, and reported to BBB on 2/24. So totally is 44 days after submitting order.

  • Ken

I’m afraid we have been scammed for three different products. Thanks to your list of numbers, we now have the phone numbers for two of the products and will be making those phone calls shortly. The third one is “ENVY RX EYE CREAM”. If anyone knows a number for these scammers, please share. Thanks Rachel for providing such a needed service and a place for anyone to share information as well as questions.

  • Laurie

I too have been scammed for $200 – split into 4 different bank transactions and to no avail when I called the company for “Adelina” which supposedly was Theresa Caputos new line of ski cream! The box came with no paperwork or mention of Theresa C. I called the number on my bank acct info : 855-247-4259 (CCBskincream). The other transaction is for MCHINVE*micheyserum $89.95 and $89.92. Why isn’t there a class action lawsuit? I want in! They wouldn’t refund me my amounts and that didn’t even I coue the two prior where they took $4.97 & $4.99 out of me – I should’ve been suspicious when those came out split up instead of as one. I will call my bank tomorrow but I sure hope there’s some reprieve or we all need a class action lawsuit!

  • Kathy

I received Lumidaire – Serum and Face cream as Fell Fargo reward because I do the survey. Then, the Lumidaire automatic sent more products to me and charged nearly $200. I contact to them to return, but they do not want to receive their products back even though it was on shipping way. Terrible ! my circumstance is hard and $200/month is too much with my family.
    Please careful Lumidaire.

  • Lee

Did anyone read terms and condition that we can’t return unopen product? They said it’s their policy.
After I noticed my transaction $98.41 was charged from Avila, I find the number from website Avila ageless was 866-921-7393, and I contact for the cancellation. She tried to gave me a discount but I didn’t take that. She cancelled and a cancellation confirmation was sending to may email. I thought they would process the refund, but they didn’t. Few days later, I checked my online banking and tried to dispute this transaction, but there was the question “do you allow company 15 days to process?”, so I waited. (I should have call to company.) I replied back to the cancellation information, which was a customer support email, and ask why I didn’t get the refund, they said that charged for the product I had, the trial one. Then I called to company again, this time I use a number they attached in the email which was 888-535-4536 (I just notice now that they are different number, so strange!!) Using this number, I spoke to 6 representatives to ty to get my money back, they all end with cut conversations and hung up. So I disputed the transaction online. Just waiting with hope that the dispute will be approved.
Last, I’m not an American, and just came here to study last year. I never think that the fraud, the gang, the unlawful things would happened here, the USA, the strictly law enforcement, but can’t do anything with this issues. As I read all comments here, it’s been a year. The fraud company still out there. Very disappointed, the USA.

  • Jasmin Gross

BRILLIANTYOUTHSKINCREA showed up on my pending bank transactions for $19.95 and I have no idea what it belongs to. Any ideas? I’m going to file a fraud alert as soon as it actually clears since pending transactions technically don’t exist.

    le.baleux anti-wrinkle complex $98.64
    888-217-9319

I called the 877 number first. They handled both products. Immediately agreed to refund total amount which caught me completely by surprise. So, by the middle of next week the refund should show up. We’ll see!

  • Brenda

Instantelixir phone number 888-409-4430. This also comes under a different product name from what I ordered. To place the order the only choice of buttons to push is “Rush my order.” They don’t tell you that will cost an extra $2.95. And they added on an eye cream that I didn’t order for another $4.95, then charged me one day for $89.99 and then the next day for $89.99. They don’t send an invoice, you have to wait for the surprise from your credit card company or your bank. And they provide no contact info.

    Same story, different company.
Glamor Gold. Ordered sample via phone and not advised re further obligation.Charges to card in excess of $84.00 x 2.Called credit card Co who said they will remove charges. When Itriedto call numbers on card (separate phone #for each product) advised both #s were no longer in service. Products were billed under Flawlesage and Flawlesbeauty.
Left all info on Glamor Gold website and moments later it was removed.
Phone # on product label: 1-844-863-8862. Got recording advising that it was after hours. Will try to contact them in a.m. Also plan to cancel credit card, call the BBB, leave note on Yelp and since I have family member @ AG office will involve them. Think I might also contact local TV trouble shooter.
Found another # : 1-447-744-7889. This is listed as customer care # under Glamor Gold.
Thank you so much for this blog. You provide a great service!🧐

I have a phone number for Radiant Revive. 1-855-633-0203. I was able to call & cancel today (2/22/18) but still have to dispute the first $89.95. The website I ordered from didn’t work anymore and I couldn’t get the return info. The phone no. is from the credit card charge.

  • Aryn Doyle

I was recently scammed by Made Pure skin cream! I saw an article on Pinterest about this anti aging cream & all the sharks on shark tank backed it up. Well of coarse as you read on they link the name of the said skin cream to a page you can get samples for $1+shipping. I thought It would be nice for my mom to try. After putting in my info and confirming & placing the order It went to a page of an e magazine. Not sure what the name of it is, a health magazine. I thought it just another ad & I wasn’t interested so I closed the page. When I received my “samples“ yesterday and got to separate confirmation emails. One confirming I got the skin care products and another with my e magizine charge of $19.83 I started research the skin company and found this page. It was a fake article and my card would be charges $83+ If I didn’t cancel w/in 14days. I called the support # for the made pure cream and told them I wanted to cancel right away and ensure my card would have no other charges for the skin cream or the e magizine. The woman was very rude and became annoyed bc I was annoyed she kept trying to sell me this subscription for 6m or 3m for how ever much. I was very clear that I didn’t want any further charges. I asked if she could give me the # for the e magizine(they are separate companies) which she did, after reading it once quickly, she hung up. I called the the emag support, had to talk to 4 ppl but once I got to someone who could help me get my money back I got my refund confirmation email while I was still on the phone with her. She apologized and I thanked her. I called made pure skin care support another time to ensure it was indeed canceled. The man interrupted me saying you’re accounts been canceled. I got his employee number so if I end up getting charged again I have that. I haven’t gotten a confirmation email of canceling the subscription so that’s a little strange to me.

  • Suzanne

My Credit Card company just gave me these two number to call to cancel Made Pure Eye Serum. 888-683-0840 or 855-201-7863. The company was very civil and cancelled the product. However they gave me a code that must be attached to every return box called an RMA# that you must get from them to return every product. And it must be written on the label when you return your product. I will never do this again!

  • ANNA

SCAM by Celleste Skin Vitality Serum. I never ordered it. The numbers appearing on my charge card statement are for “Customer Care” at a men’s product company, which company denies any knowledge of the Celleste Skin Vitality Serum. I have looked through your list of numbers and the readers’ comments, but have not found a “real” number for this company.

  • Carmel D

I fell for Instantelixir. Did not read the terms. Charges hit my back account on day 15. No contact information on the email. After much digging on the internet, I found the #. Spoke with a sweet southern lady. I stuck to my guns and threatened to dispute all of the charges. She finally refunded me. 2?weeks later, another $4.95 charge hit my account. I called them again. This charge was for a membership discount for other products. Once again, I threatened to dispute the charges. They finally agreed to a refund

  • Becky Gommel

Another free trial. They too advertised that they were a Shark Tank Product! Of course they also get you on an eye cream. I just tried to cancel (I ordered the free sample) and I was told I could not cancel until I received the product. When I got very upset and brought up the Attorney General and fraud, they cancelled my subscription. At least that’s what the customer service rep told me. I’m keeping an eye out for any additional charges.

The product name is InstantElixer Proactive Repair and InstantElixer Eye Serum. Phone #: 888-409-4430

  • Christi

Just got scammed by instantelixer #888-409-4430. If you don’t cancel within 14 days, you are charged $89.98 and they refuse to refund it. It’s crazy how many scams are out there! I will never get sucked in by a free trial again!

  • MARGARET HORN

My BANK actually alerted me about this company DERMIVA SKIN CARE SOLUTIONS. Trial was about $10, no information at all about recurring fees. You had to click on the eye cream, just to get the skin cream. Charged me $86 2 times in less than 15 days! I am disputing with my bank’s assistance and I called 888 509 8221. Got cancellation #’s but they refuse to give me ANY $ BACK and refuse to give me the address to send the UNOPENED AND SEALED product back. I am having my bank handle the dispute now, and if that doesn’t work, I AM contacting the BB B and my attorney! Yes, I am that disgusted! Does anyone have the ADDRESS FOR THIS SCAM, so that I can send the un-opened product back?

Hi Racheal, I just wanted to warn everyone that these scam continued to charge me $4.95 every month. I noticed it and stopped the credit card and reported it to my bank. watch out for more sneaky charges or better yet get a new account number.

  • Tracey

Getradiantbloom and Derma viva skin just came. I cancelled immediately and cut off card. 150.00 for two products. Swiss claiming Christie brinkley cream.a scam?

  • Linda Ward

I just used this phone number to cancel product 1-855-633-0203.. I, too, feel the fool for trying this scam… they do not give you enough time to really try the product and make is SO difficult to contact for cancellation. I, was, however, able to get thru, but we will see if the cancellation indeed goes thru…don’t fall for these scams…shame on me for this…fine print doesn’t appear until cc has been submitted as another person noted…I will never do a “free trial” again… seriously…did I really expect a FREE trial??? not happening… fell for the Shark Tank approval.. dumb dumb dumb…

  • Pearle

Kay, I agree with you 100%. I am so angry with myself. I fell for the shark tank connection. I called and they cancelled the automatic reorder. But I don’t trust them I will get with my bank. I told the representative that if they didn’t cancel it I would have my bank do so. UGH. I can’t believe I did this.

  • Donna Aquilina

    Good afternoon,
I am trying to find a contact number for Active Plus Youth Cream & Serum so that I can cancel and hopefully receive a refund. Their number(s) are not on your list. Do you by chance have their number? Please let me know as I really cannot afford to be charged every month and have three months supply still in their packaging.
I look forward to receiving your earliest response. Many thanks, Donna

  • Barbara

How do they get away with this. I too have been scammed by ordering a free sample and they send me a 30 day supply of revive cream and charged me to charges one of 119.92 and one of 119.95. If it sounds to good to be true it is a scam. I paid the shipping charges and now they deducted this. Another senior citizen scammed. I filed fraud charges against them. This is the number on the sheet they mailed with Revive. It doesn’t look professional. Their customer service on the sheet 18336570555 is a number I called. She said they may partially send a refund. I told her they were scammers and I do not want their products. How do we get our money back? They have to right to keep money for a product you did not order. I want nothing from this company but my refund.

  • Ali

    Good evening Jill,

You must contact your bank and bring to their attention the withdrawn amount in question, and inform them of your wish to contact the recipient of that amount in order to negotiate a refund. They will then provide you with the company’s phone number, to which they have access and may not be the same as the one mentioed on the website.

Given how these companies operate, it is likely that they have intentionally not provided the correct phone number on the website so as to evade being contacted save by the few who go through the trouble of contacting their bank and demonstrating tangibly their desire to get in touch.

In other words, this could be done knowingly to thin out the crowd and avoid acquiese

  • Jill Hunter

I too was scammed by Derma Viva and they have today taken money out of my account and I cannot contact them at any of the phone numbers on their email……

  • Adrienne

Just had this issue with Ephamere cream which was on Shark Tank! The sharks all bought into it so I thought it would be legitimate!
Paid the $4.95 shipping and then $97.58 showed up on my credit card (more than 14 days later and my bank’s fraud dept even called me). Negative option billing. Called the number the bank gave me – because it was past the 14 days when you could cancel, I had to pay the fee and cancel now. They say they are sending me a free month’s supply for my trouble.
Came up as Health Truth (hah!)

I stupidly ordered a “free trial” of Suisse Renewal on Facebook and never got an email about the order. They obviously do this so you can’t read the terms and conditions. I did receive a trial eye serum and trial face cream which DID NOTHING! I received a fraud alert on my phone when the two charges came through, one for $91.36 and one for $89.42! I cancelled that card right away so they can’t charge me anymore and then I called 800-797-1080 and the girl at first offered to refund me 35% which I said no way. She then said 50% and said a cancellation email was sent. I never got it but I did get a cancellation number which I plan to dispute this with my bank. Has anyone else had the same experience with not getting any emails from them??

  • Ali

My advice is that when you do call the company and speak to a representative, please do be firm and assertive.
Do not be afraid to raise your voice and be loud and persistent. Never, ever give up and simply pay no mind to what they say.
Insist on a full and complete refund taking place immediately… accept no other alternatives. This is the only way.
If they do offer alternatives, like refunding 50% of the amount, refuse. If they “elevate your case” and advise you to wait for a phone call from a manager, refuse and insist on settling it “here and now.”

If they hang up on you, just call back. They know it’s you because they can see your phone number/caller ID on their screens. Any time you call back (after the initial call) and they ask you to confirm your identity or tell them your phone number or email address, just refuse and tell them that they know exactly who you are because they can see your number on their screens. This is all part of the intimidation and assertiveness and strength that you should convey to them so that they mentally mark you as “serious/persistent” and refund you the money back.

It’s like a confrontation with a wolf in the forest. In order to survive and not get eaten, you should try to make very loud noises and spread your arms and fingers to appear physically bigger than you really are in order to scare the wolf into thinking that you are not to be messed with. That is the analogy that you should keep in mind when dealing with suck companies who know fully well how slimy and predatorial they are.

They tend to judge the seriousness of your case by how angry, frustrated, loud, stubborn, and persistent you are, and by how many times you call them. I know it could be very comfortable for you to be “that person”, but it will come in handy because that is the only language they seem to understand.
Speak to however many representatives that you can speak to. I must have gone through eight or ten different people. Just keep at it, and keep calling. The more you call, the more your increase your likelihood of getting a refund.

Believe me, they will budge and cave in. That is their training, They have been taught to keep resisting and to never concede or give a refund until a certain amount of calls has been made from a person, or a certain number of refund requests made, or a certain amount of minutes passed, or a certain threshold of “tension/anger/loudness” crossed.

You can make up all the excuses and rational arguments in the world, but that just doesn’t count without the loudness and frustration and persistence.

They might offer to transfer you to a “manager” or a “superior”, but don’t be intimidated. It’s simply just another kid on the team with equal authority and status as them. They have no remorse about lying. It’s all just staged to invoke professionalism and order and structure. They lied to you in their ads and mislead you at the time pf purchase, so what makes you think they will not lie to you on the phone?

I personally mentioned, loudly, frustratingly, and intimidatingly, my minimum wage (which is true for me), and my work lifting heavy boxes and loading/unloading trucks (which is true for me), and my wish to buy a little treat for my mother during Christmas (which is true), and my ability to use that money for better causes like charities (which I do) as well as the waste of time and frustration (which is true).

I mentioned how one of the amounts that was withdrawn from my account ($96.something) was almost equivalent to me working eight hours earning minimum wage, which is true for me… and that if I was willing to work for eight hours lifting heavy boxes and loading/unloading trucks to earn that much money, then I would have no problem or qualms about spending eight hours comfortably sitting down in a chair and speaking to a representative on the phone to get that same amount of money back.

I have gotten a full refund of $405 (minus $1.70) and the way I accomplished it is by doing two things. The first is a heartfelt prayer asking God for help to refund the money back, and He did and here I am telling you the story. The second thing is what I told you above about being extremely insufferable to the representative(s) on the line.

Please, please, please do remember however to never personally insult the representative. They are just people who want to provide money for themselves and their families. Yes, they are doing that on great expense and detriment to others, but their moral compass is not for us to judge… and I don’t pretend to know how low (I) will stoop in order to provide for myself and/or my family if I was placed in the same situation as they are.

With all my yelling and anger, I made sure to tell the representatives that I did not doubt their basic goodness as a human being and that I had no problem with them personally, but that my problem was with the company they worked for. I quote myself here: “I do not doubt, for a second, that you are a good person and if insulted you in any way, then I apologize. My problem is not with you, it’s with the people who came up with this scheme… etc.”

Channel your anger and frustration to the company, to the decision makers who came up with the idea and hired the representatives… not to those lowly representatives themselves who have to endure remorse and feelings of guilt. Spare them the moral lecture and give them a (mental) break. They need it, psychologically.

    (((IMPORTANT)))

When asking for a refund, you must ask for an email to be sent to you (NOW, remember) telling you the exact dollar amount to be refunded.
This is CRITICAL, because that is the only legally binding thing that will commit them to refund you the money. This email/document will act as proof for the bank to pursue the company for a refund.

Without that email, you have nothing. They can verbally agree to refund you the money on the phone, but without the email, they are not obligated to do anything. They might do that just to get rid of you.
    INSIST ON THE EMAIL!

  • Vicki

I sent for the ilus anti-aging serum and the krása anti-aging cream, thinking for 5 bucks it woulb a trail size. Nope, it came full size and 2 days later $212 was gone from my acct. That was half of my paycheck! The was nothing about a 14-day trial period or a subscription for more. Help!!

AvanDermNu///#877-251-3467 that is the product, company is zen*dermwrinkle same story free sample, followed by charge of 87.50 called got lucky, said they would give me a refund of 60.00 took the money and running, gave me a cancellation # shameful business practice, wish I could do more

  • Janet Conroy-Link

A day or 2 after I ordered Everfirm I realized I made a mistake. I reread the emails they sent and got the phone number to cancel but you can only call M-F 9 am to 5 pm EST. I placed the ordered on January 28th and called on February 2nd. The woman tried to tell me that because my trial wasn’t over I would have to ship the product back at my expense and pay an additional $9.95 fee or I could call back and cancel in a week and a half. The woman was very pushy. I remembered the advise you gave on your blog and remained firm. I told her I did not want to call back at a later date to cancel because I wish to cancel my subscription NOW and I would not be sending anything back as I had already paid for the sample product. When she started her push I interrupted her and told her if she didn’t cancel my subscription now I was going to report them to the better business agency and also to my credit card company. She finally agreed to cancel and said I will be getting an email confirmation. I think I’m going to report the incident to my credit card company even if I get the confirmation email. These people are not trustworthy. Thank you for the advise.

I found a number for a company that scammed me for a free trial of Ephamere skin cream.
A man supposedly cancelled the account they had set up for me. it is:1–888-552-9750

  • Bonnie

I had ordered my free trial. There were charges of 89.90and 89.92 on my dept card. The names were different, forte cream and skin solutions Llc. I can’t find a number for either one and my bank is not helping me. What do I do? I need to find the numbers. I’m going to have to cancel my card too. Any advice or numbers for these co.?

If your bank is not helping, that’s terrible! Tell them to cancel your card and demand to file a fraud dispute. Good luck! Rachel

      • Cathy Corey

My bank, U S Bank opened a fraud
Investigation and reimbursed my account! Two months plus they then sent a letter saying the company had given me notice!
I called and called the fraud dept and I was told they had to give the $ back to the scammers!
        What bs!
If I had closed my account it would have ruined my credit! $200 and I am a senior on a fixed income!!!!

        • Rachel Vrabel
          Rachel Vrabel

That’s awful Cathy! I swear some banks just want to get their money too. These free trial ads are violating the negative option law for consumers – they are supposed to make their terms and conditions very clear and easy to find, and we know that’s not the case. You can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, your state’s Attorney General’s office if you want to make a case… good luck and I’m so sorry! Not the outcome I like to see. Rachel

  • Vicki Marsden

My bank gave me this number for the following products:
    NuvaClear Eyes, NuvaClear Skin.

They go by Skin Refresh or Youth and the phone number is: 888.945.8354.

I’m $400 poorer but finally got out of this scam today! Make sure they give you a cancellation number.

  • Kay

Bonnie, I have a number for InstantElixir. And an email. I also got stuck with their “trial offer” after they lied about being on Shark Tank.
    email: [email protected]
    phone: 888-409-4430

They sent me a confirmation email with my cancellation, but i’m worried about some random charge showing up on my credit card. They also said that they didn’t take the product back, which contradicts what the website and their terms and conditions said. Crossing my fingers.

  • Linda Faubert

I also ordered Creme Skin and was fist billed about 95.00 from amazon and now Iv’e been billed 110.00 ,, I just saw this today while doing my on line banking, I’m going to call and cancell my credit card but would love to speak to these peaple if you have a number for them

  • Kay

You can add InstantElixir to your list. I very foolishly signed up for this thinking it was the one that was on Shark Tank. I’m so mad at myself. I know better, and there were red flags. I’m PRAYING that my credit card company will block the charges. I am returning the product as directed even if I have to overnight it to make it within the 14 days. I want to add that I had entered my credit card number, but not clicked the purchase button, left the site just to check another source, and when I came back, it said that my purchase was complete. Then, of course, I doubted myself so I just figured it would be ok. Wrong, wrong, wrong!! I’ll never order anything like this again! Tough lesson to learn : (((

  • Myrna

I ordered for s free trial of AvanDermNu and paid the shipment of $10.66 for two tiny minuscule size samples last mid/November. Then I got another shipment mid December which I refused and asked the post office to return to sender. I did not know that they charged my credit card for $178.00 for it, as my husband paid the credit card charges. Then a second shipment came and I refused again. When I asked my husband for the credit card statement, I was surprised for 3rd charge if $187.00 to my card. The charges were split in three transactions within the same statement, so it will not alert customer about it. I immediately sent them an email letting them know that I will contact my bank about this fraudulent practice of this company, and that I will report them to the Better Business Bureau and to the Department of Consumer Affairs. They immediately responded that they will be canceling my subscription ( which I responded I don’t have a subscription from them, just responding to their free trial offer). They also said that they will not charge my card anymore, which I responded that they cannot do it even if they wanted to since I immediately reported this fraud business practice to my bank who will investigate this matter, and suggested that I close and cancel that credit card, which I did. I checked the BBB and saw similar complaints about this company doing exactly what they did to me. This company is owned by two sisters and they appeared on Shark Tank and was immediately got those hosts investors invest on them. I will let these investors and the executive producers of Shark Tank the scam practices these two sisters company are doing, and I will provide them with copies of complaints filed at the BBB. I will also sent these copies along with my complain to tv statins where they do investigative reporting on fraudulent business practices like AvanDerm Nu. I will also try to contact all that filed a complaint on thus company to do a class action suit against this company with the hope that this company shuts down before it scam more people.

    Hi,
I got an add on Facebook for a skincare line that Theresa Caputo is promoting and when you click on it, it also had Gwen Stefani and Leah Remini promoting it. It is called Atheno and the number is 877-882-1820. I saw you have it on your list with no number.

  • Bonnie ulmer

Got a trai of instant Elixir, received items, was only suppose to be cream and received 2 orders, cream and eye revitalized which I did not ask for. Did not know this was a trial that I would receive future shipments on. Can not find any tel.#s or address. No way to contact them.

Same customer service 2 diff. names & numbers that they provide to the banks.

They pretend to need management approval. I told them I work for a law firm and would be happy to give this info to a partner and low and behold…no problem. They didn’t get any additional funds from me thank to my banks fraud department.

I told the rep that I sincerely hope he finds a better company to work for.

  • Anne Beauchamp

I ordered a free trial of Crème Skin (just an ad that appeared while I was on the Weather Network) here in Canada and it talked about Rachael Ray as if this was her beauty line. I am pretty sure this is a scam as well. I did cancel my credit card, they had already billed the shipping charges.
On the Crème Skin website the phone number is not in service and the customer service number you just go into a hold with music playing. I tried e-mailing them but it appeared that the e-mail did not go through to anyone. I have no paper trail. Do you have a phone number for Crème Skin that I could try and get a hold of someone to cancel. I haven’t received my free trial moisturizer and eye moisturizer but I am sure this is a scam as well. Does anyone have any information (phone numbers to reach them?) I can’t believe I fell for this.

  • nanci hutchison

I have the number for Atheno. You are right. Because I have been scammed before I had to search for the number which as you said was hard to find and VERY small print. I am so mad at myself for falling for this but I just did it and am going to call and cancel now. Wish me luck. THE NUMBER IS 877 882 1820

  • Renee Champine

I ordered the free trial for a product called Ephamere, it said I would only pay shipping of 4.95 so I gave them my Visa # then without warning or a way to go back and cancel my order the next screen said I forgot to add the eye serum for 5.95 and only had a next button under it. So I clicked it and my order was finished and now totaled 10.90. I felt so deceived by this that I did more research and found that I would most likely see an auto charge within the next 14 days. I found a good customer service phone #888-340-2258, called and found out that yes they were going to charge me 98 on a monthly basis. This was NOT divulged to me while I ordered the trial. They said they canceled it and gave me cancellation #. Still waiting to see the cancelation email. I shared this info because I did not see Ephamere in your list. Thank you for sharing your insight into this scam.

  • Sheila

I had a allergic reaction problem with this product I’ve been trying to return it I’ve been sending it back but they steady sending it. I have return it to sendrr over 5 times and they are study sending it. I no longer want the supplies.so i need them to stop sending them.

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Shelia, which one? There are hundreds. It’s best to get your bank involved, file a fraud dispute. You need to get a hold of the cream manufacturer and cancel their auto ship arrangement, just sending it back doesn’t always do the trick. Your bank may also be able to give you a good number for the company that keeps billing you, I’m so sorry this is such a racket! Good luck, Rachel

Instant Elixir: I saw an ad on TV and ordered the trial size. I received the eye elixir and the face elixir a few days later. The eye elixir is in a pump bottle and did not “pump,” so I took the lid off and use a cotton swab to get to the product. I told myself that I had to call the company and tell them, but forgot to do so. My mother had been gravely ill for some time; she passed two days ago (Tuesday the 16th). I was checking my bank account and discovered a charge for $89.99 from Instant Elixir. I called the company and found out that this was a planned shipment on their part. I had ordered from the television, and there was NO notification that I had to call them before the trial period was over to cancel the monthly subscription. When the trial stuff appeared, there was NO PAPERWORK in the box to advise me of the trial period! I was busy with my mother and had no clue. I called Instant Elixer yesterday to get my money back, and explained my situation. Not only did they charge a huge sum, THEY OVERDRAFTED MY BANK ACCOUNT!!! I am definitely not a happy camper. I spoke with a representative, who told me they would not refund my money. I spoke with her supervisor, who said the same thing. Moral of the story: DO NOT EVEN GET THE TRIAL PERIOD. Not worth it. INSTANT ELIXIR: 1-888-409-4430

  • Michelle

As many others of you, I am going through this with one of the “beauty trial creams” Never fell for this before and half asleep made a poor decision. EVER FIRM 1-855-264-7018, and FRESH LOOK 1-888-313-1670 . I called those numbers and spoke to very persistent sales reps or scammers to me! I insisted to cancel. I insisted they give me a refund. After their refusal I had a few choice words, told them I’m blocking my card and hung up. THEY CALLED ME BACK! Tried to give me 30% off, then more ! Finally, agreed to the refund and cancellation, but insisted they send me a free sample for the trouble! I refused and said I didn’t want a thing from them EVER! I got an email confirmation for the cancellation and refund. Then a day later and email saying my order is on it’s way and low and behold that same damn day a box with the 2 creams shows up! I am livid. I can’t say just yet if my refund even went through. As you know it takes 3-5 days to see refunds. Our credit card is filing a dispute. I’m going to call again this morning and see what they are pulling with this shipment after I cancelled? Who can work for these types of companies being so dishonest and ripping women off daily! Plus if you type in these companies names it takes you to a site where it’s a whole new product scam and not the original one you were led into! I’m also going to threaten reporting them to the BBB and AG.

You are wonderful. Soo often you cannot get through to a lot of numbers, dial and then a ring and then disconnect. It is terrible what they do. People fall into this prey all the time. 2 of them not on your list and when I google I get nothing. “DERM ELITE” AND
Another one “SIMPLY FLAWLESS”..many times like you say they go by another name and number. Thank you for your help. I have been on hold now, while I type this to you for 1 hour and 15 minutes with “ADVANCED BEAUTY-ANTI AGING BEAUTY CREAM”. Again, thank you in advance for your help. This page is great.

I was SCAMMED by these people as well. I ordered 2 products at the same time that for some reason are being billed a 2 different companies. When I called the # I was given by my Credit Card company it is coming up as “TRUE RESULTS” 877-567-6484. The other “company” they are billing as is “ATLAS BEAUTY” which has no phone # and no way to contact them. Both companies are showing up as being in CANADA!! TRUERESULTS will do NOTHING but put you on hold and transfer you around to 10 different people who all doing NOTHING!! They will offer you a “half price” deal if you want to cancel. UMMMM NOOOOO!! I never signed up for ANYTHING other than the initial products which I only paid $4.95 for the shipping x2. Now they have charged my acct $119.95. I had already filed a dispute with my CC co when I called in so hopefully they will get this resolved and credit my acct. In the mean time my card has been cancelled and I have to wait on a new one to arrive!! I have NEVER fallen for a SCAM like this and I’m furious that this has happened!! Beyond pissed!! BEWARE!!!

Like so many others been scammed too. Started in Oct with free trial offers with Nouveau anti-aging eye and moisterizing creams . Can not find any phone number for them to even call. Keep receiving creams in mail about every 3 wks. Refusing pkgs now but was not home today. And another one got delivered. Will go to bank and try to get phone number to stop deducting my acct. Please advise if you have a number for Nouveau.. will let you know if bank can stop and will report to BBB. Anything else I can do???Feel very vulnerable and angry about these scam artist. Dianne, contacting your bank to file a dispute and block any further charges is your best course of action. Returning to sender doesn’t cancel the auto shipment so you do either have to contact the cream manufacturer, or file a formal dispute with your bank to get out of this. So sorry! Good luck. Rachel

Same scam with me via Facebook. Phone for Glamor Gold ( it showed up with the name of Capo Skin Cream on our bank statement)

888-312-9445. This is customer support. I was offered many discounts to continue, despite saying 7 times I wanted to cancel. Be firm with these people. They continue to talk over you. I was finally able to get an email with cancellation numbers.

I ordered “Aurora Bella” on 11/2/17!
I was charged 99.96 and 99.93 . I contacted USBank disputing this as fraud as I had read only to be charged for s&h of $4.95.
I was told that it would be investigated!
I was credited on the charges on
11/17/17. I told them I had received a tiny product with no invoice or name of a company, just an address in NJ.

Today, 1/8/18 I received letters from US Bank stating I was correctly billed!
    ( By Health Nature Plus)!

    This is totally a scam!
I have sat on hold with my bank and will continue to do so!
I am also going to report this to the
    Mn Attorney General’s office!!

I did not return the product—no body told me to do so. There was never any receipt accept what showed on my bank account!
Never was there any disclosure of terms and conditions!!!
Nor no email re the transaction as they claim!!
    This is disgusting!!
Thank you for your blog and help!

i called Radient Revive and hung up on them 5 times. They refused but got offers from 30% to 50%. Refused all. 24 hours later a full refund for both appeared on my statement..I claimed I was old and on a fixed income (I am actually) but you might use a sob story too. These crooks aare ruthless so we might as well be. Did USBank give you the money? WF would!!! Good luck. It took me twice to learn, but I did learn. Besides my wonderful guy said he loves me for who I am, wrinkles and all.

New listing for Revive Skincare–phone # 1-833-657-0555. Got my “free” samples today and tried to call and cancel so I wouldn’t get anymore. Of course they were closed and said to leave my name and number and they would get back to me in about 14 days–but I’m suppose to cancel within 12 days. So this is their way of trapping you into more stuff. I am going to call every day if I have to before my 12 days are up to cancel.

  • Michelle

Hi yes I had the exact same problem with Final Skincare/Skin Flow these are the #’s to call I got them off my cr card bill yes all under different product names such as Freshskin/Skintry/SPH*Simplewebskin
    Freshskin – 844-256-3215
    Skintry – 888-219-7177
    SPH*Simplewebskin-855-293-8130
I phoned all 3 to confirm cancellation and cannot receive a refund due to my negligence of not advising within the 14 days trial my bad and I’m out EST 450 bucks.
Apparently they are subsidiaries of Advanced Skin Care
Crap I haven’t even tried it yet can only pray now that it works LOL, won’t be doing that twice.
I just received my email cancellation confirmations via [email protected]
    Final Skincare – 877-296-6889 and

    Hi,

On 12/10/17 I ordered A SHARK TANK PRODUCT that offers a FREE TRIAL SAMPLE for the cost of shipping $4.99 for the AvanDerm Wrinkle Cream and $4.87 for the AvanDerm Eye Serum.
    On 12/27/17 DEFINEADEYE.NET charged me $85.20 and DEFINEADWRINKLE.NET charged me $87.50.
On 1/8/18 I called 888-649-3646 on the http://avanskinlabs.com/ website. They cancelled the subscription and said they refunded $60.00 for each product back to by credit card, totalying a $120.00 refund. I did receive the emails stating a refund would happen, but no dollar amount was specified in the emails. So, we’ll see what happens.

    PCM*BRILLIANTEYE 888-435-2386
    UPHORIA SKIN PRODUCTS 888-407-0180

I knew I would probably cancel after the “free” trial period. But when my samples never I arrived, I thought I had just been scammed for the shipping fee (about $10). I did keep a close eye on my credit statement, and sure enough, the next month there were two charges, each $100 plus change. When I called to complain, I was told I had not cancelled within the necessary time period. I explained several times that I had not received my free trial sample or any additional information about the cost of the monthly membership. Eventually, they offered to send me the products at 65% of the regular cost. I refused and told them I would be disputing the charge with my credit company. They agreed to cancel my membership but not to refund the charges. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company, and we’ll see what happens. I knew it was probably a scam, and I was prepared to cancel before any membership fees started. But when the first sample never arrived, I had not way of cancelling. Just another reminder not to give in to curiosity….

  • Darlene

AvenDermNu is also a scam. I found out the hard way. You order a “free” sample, just pay shipping. After 14 days (must be very fine print as it’s not noticeable)’ they charge you $80+ per bottle. Charged through DermaWrinkle or EyeMax but both can be cancelled by the same phone number-844-466-1401 or 877-606-1364. They did credit $60 back after I called and complained. BUYER BEWARE!

  • Sandy

Vela Serum – Face Serums 844-297-6549. This is a good product, however, it is an automatic enroll in auto ship. Ordered on 12/17, rec’d on 12/28 not even a 1/5th of the way through the bottle and on 1/4/18 they have already charged for the next bottle. Extremely expensive compared to the trial, which they do not disclose. There is nothing mentioned on any of their shipping, online account, or receipt that offers you a way to cancel or opt out.
    Beware.

  • Robina Dixson

I’ve just been scammed by total age repair cream luckily I found a phone number and cancelled within 5 days they will not send me a cancellation email which I’ve asked for 4 times the phone number is 0800 118 2350 email is [email protected] .com but they don’t respond

  • D Jennings

Ordered Revive Skincare. I called within a week to cancel after reading your site. I waited and it hung up spontaneously. Called back & sat through the same lame messages, but finally got someone who said they would allow me to send it back or pay only $39.99 instead of $114.00. Never agreed to anything but the $4.95 S&H. I told her neither, she put me on hold and came back to say the company would let me keep it as a gift and stop the subscription. No confirmation email came, so I initiated a dispute with my credit card company. Definite scam–someone should go to jail. Customer service is 1-833-657-0555 or [email protected]. Website ordered on getrvive.com is up for sale now. Shows up on credit card as Complexskin out of Canada or FreshYouthfulness out of Utah. Thanks for what you do, Rachel.

  • Claudia

I called the number provided for Allumiere and the call center at this number said this was not one of their products. If anyone has a good number for this company so I can cancel please post it!

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Claudia, I would call your bank for the number, and it’s probably under a different name – just look for the s&h charge and see who’s listed, that’s who you need to contact. Good luck! Rachel

  • Sue Kern

I just got scammed by this outfit, Revive Cream Anti-aging Facial Cream (Pure Dermissh) and Revive Eye Cream (Acticmist) to be used with it. They give you e-mail addresses that can’t be accessed for help in cancelling the order for the product and all information about the real cost, terms and conditions don’t appear until after you have given them your credit card number. I only hope I can reach them through the number they immediately used to submit the bill to my credit card company. Do not use them!!!! Scammers from the start!!!!

  • Joanne T Gallant

I consider myself reasonably smart, but I fell for this Radiant Revive scam. Even at 75 We want to look nice-low low income too. Phoned 1-855-633-0203, was a good number, but no help. I hung up on the gal a few times and she called back every time. said she cancelled it but will watch my account. sent info to bank. I feel so stupid. My honey loves me the way I am so I promise I won’t do this again and will try to forgive myself for being so foolish.

  • Karen

This is not a true question – I just wanted to add to the list! I just lost close to $200 dollars to the following 2 products – Radiant Revive 20 and Radiant Revive 19 – the phone (which I got from the bank) is (855) 633-0203 address is 2216 Dunmore Court, High Point, NC 27263

  • Ellen

I just dealt with the disgusting Luminary Skincare Company. I never ordered any product but shipping fees were charged to my credit card. They cancelled my “subscription”, but are still charging for the “free trial” samples. Both products are unused so I will try to return them. Do you have their address?

    Thank you for your blog.

  • Sharon

You can add Femora Skin Cream and Femora Eye Cream to you list. The phone number on my bank statement belongs to another company if they are to be believed. 877-557-6501.

  • Ann

I was scammed by a “Shark Tank” company a couple weeks ago. Luckily I was able to get out of it with little damage. I was browsing Pinterest and came across a promoted pin that caught my attention. It is the same “Shark Tank” scam as before. Same page, same backstory, same FB reviews etc. The name is different of course. This one is called Everfirm eye-serum
    Everfirm Eyes
    P.O. Box 3419
    Huntington Beach, CA 92605-3419
    (855) 264-7018
    http://www.tryeverfirmeyes.com
Everfirm Eyes (“Product”) is sold by Pipe Online.

This is depressing to see. I don’t know how these fraudulent “companies” can be stopped. I did a search through the PIN and they’re far and wide with different names. My advice (through unfortunate experience) is never to do a free trial with only $4.95 s/h. These scam creatures are EVERYWHERE!

  • Mary

I ordered the Bellavel skin care and then they force you to take the eye serum. I canceled the order within two hours after researching it and yes a scam. $89.99 per month. Thier #1-844-606-8974 and I got a hold of them right away and canceled. I also canceled my credit card and had a new one issued. But they still sent the product anyway. Sent it back return to sender and called them again to make sure they did cancel the order. They did the same night. Thank you so much for your site and information. Thier site is www. Bellavelskin.com

  • Andrea

I stupidly signed up for Luxure Anti-Wrinkle Cream. Luckily I looked at the fine print and found out it was an auto-ship program for $98.42 a month if you don’t call and cancel before the 14 day trial!
I screenshot the customer service number because it wasn’t the same one in the confirmation order!!!
The number I called was (888)353-1620. Definitely a call center in India and I spoke to someone named “Freddy”. I didn’t get a cancellation email yet but I did get a Cancellation code.

  • Anna

    888-649-3646 OR 844-313-7504
Heads up: neither one will give you any “satisfaction.” I made two phone calls to them this morning, and they want to hold me hostage to paying $36 to unsubscribe to their shipments. Both CSR’s were abusive and the last one hung up on me.

  • Summer

But I’ve tried to call them multiple times. This is the phone number my bank gave me and they’re telling me that I have the wrong number. They have no idea about anything.

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Then your bank needs to dispute these charges for you. If that’s not obvious it’s a scam to them, then I’d consider changing banks. Some refund money and block further charges without question. Good luck! Rachel

  • Melba Diane McCarthy

These numbers are for Luminary Ageless Eye Revitalized and Revitaling Moisturizer
    1 877-919-9309 and 1 877-919-

Be sure to ask for and write down the cancellation number! I called in Oct 2017 and still was charged in Nov and Dec. Because I couldn’t prove I cancelled, they never gave me a cancellation code, they refused to give me a refund. I was forced to call them twice this time because the first agent hung up without giving me a cancellation number even though I asked and the second women tried to tell me I didn’t need it. I will make a complaint to BBB today.

  • Karen Christensen

Read the fine print thoroughly, and never saw that it was a monthly subscription…Got taken! Royal runaround. Second that week in our small town bank! Tried to follow the link again on the site, and kept redirecting me to other creams. Must have my e-mail on file. Got the phone number off the Visa bill.
Threatened me with lawyers if I disputed. Finally got 1/2 taken off, but they started with 35%.I’m now disputing the rest.

    Radiant Revive
    855 633 0203
    2216 Dunmore Court
High Point, NC 27263….sure this is a cover address

Hope this helps someone. Took me 6 hours of work to get any results. Reported them to FTC, now starting on the Attorney General and anyone else that will listen.

  • Lynn

I don’t see Kra’sa Skin Care Cream & ilus anti aging serum on your list. The numbers for them are 855-683-7714 and 855-746-0306. They also go by the name of Envisage Skin International and the address is 3- 17th Avenue South. Nampa, ID 83651. Also they give emails of [email protected] and [email protected].
I knew better and did it anyway. I feel so stupid.

There is NO written document sent to you….”since you kept clicking, we can’t verify that you didn’t read it so it isn’t our fault you didn’t see the AUTO SHIP after 14 days (which is about the time it took in the mail)
Offered me a 30% cancellation & refund “help” for my bill. WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS.

I AM FURIOUS that I let myself be taken by this company…to the tune of $304.30!!! I don’t pay over $20 for face cream, perhaps once or twice a year! NEVER AGAIN! SCAMMERS at Christmas are the worst!

  • meg

Thank you so much for these numbers. I had tried blocking satin youth and skin complex in my bank – nether find another company to bill through. I have finally got hold of someone with these numbers – gave me cancellation confirmation- keeping my fingers crossed. Learned my lesson!

  • Ann

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH “SHARK TANK” SAME FRAUD STORIES DIFFERENT NAMES OF PRODUCTS.

Essential Anti-Aging Moisturizing Serum is a scam company. They send you a free trial serum for $4.95, then it takes you to a next page for a trial eye cream for $5.95. There is nothing you can do to get out of the eye cream. They already have your information. This was a HUGE red flag and I went back to look at the page and FB reviews. They are all fake and have stolen the random people FB identities. A couple hours later, the landing page was deleted. I saved their “home page”
    https://secure-competehealth.com
This is for Essential Anti-Aging Moisturizing Serum even though the name is different. I called their phone number minutes later to cancel the trial and they refused. He said I have to try the product and I have 10 days to cancel the subscription of $94.95. I alerted my bank and post office. Post office told me to refuse the package.
In the meantime I found this website and decided to call them after the package was delivered to get an RMA.
The first customer service rep to me that I could send it back with a $9.99 restocking fee and gave me a different return address then the one listed on the website. When I questioned her she told me I was wrong and their website was not the one I order from etc…Eventually I was sent to a supervisor and he cancelled my “subscription” and told me that I was not able to return my “free” trial and to keep it. He promised that no further charges would happen. All the reps assured me that this was a legit company after I called them fraudulent. I’ve had to cancel my card, they’ve ruined my email address with tons of spam mail, and spam phone calls.

    Here is the company info:

Essential Anti-Aging Moisturizing Serum Returns Department
    1218 E. Broadway #308
    Long Beach CA 90802

    Corporate Address:

    Essential Anti-Aging Moisturizing Serum

    1218 E. Broadway #308
    Long Beach CA 90802

    Customer Service:

    Phone: (866) 994-0892 or (866) 994-0893

    Email: [email protected]

Customer Service Hours of Operation: Mon – Sat 7am – 5pm PST

Must have RMA number from customer service clearly labeled on package. No return to sender will be accepted. See Terms and Conditions for more details so we can better service you.

This information is different than the return information the rep give out. She gives out a address to a Zip Post (a mailing service) and again told me the address on the website is wrong.
    Alternative address:
    9353 Bolsa Ave #M14
    Westminster, CA 92683
The yelp reviews of this Zip Post claims this is a scam place too!

    Address the package came from:
    Essential Serum-Essential Eye Cream
    PO Box 25380
    Santa Ana, CA 92799.

These people give you the run around and different stories…I can’t believe I fell for this crap.

  • Helen Kutash

Scam- worthless product- I didn’t see any indication of a cancellation comment. They canceled Future shipments but would not return the $90 they charged for the “sample” sent since I didn’t cancel the “trial”. The products were called FFL Skin cream Joy and My eye serum. It’s one of those “as seen on Shark Tank”. Beware!!!!!!!
    H. Kutash aka Dummy.

Ana, I can’t cancel this for you – did you read my blog’s instructions? It’s not me charging you, you have to contact the cream manufacturer or your bank, I’m just a blogger. Thanks, Rachel

  • Angry

855-633-0203: This number is to a company who sells Radiant Revive facial anti wrinkle cream. You initially are charged for a shipping fee of $4.95. Then your card is charged additional fees. When calling to dispute charges, you are told that you were suppose to call back to cancel subscription within 14 days to avoid additional charges. That is not listed on the website! Nor did I receive any additional cream.

  • Laura Eskilson

I have another SCAM company that is not on your list:
    Fresh Look Skin Cream
    888-313-1670
Same deal…charged $4,95 for shipping then the whopper of 89.00 for the tiny skin cream!

  • De lbbie

  • Samantha

I was scammed by skin vitality serum. Has anyone been able to find their number? I’ve been able to dispute one transaction, but I would like to end it for good so I don’t have to do it every month

  • Susanne

    Hi,
I was another woman who fell this horrible scam. The Company I ordered my free trial from was VeraCell claiming a Soldier ‘s wife had created this Skin Care and they were featured on Shark Tank. It was offered as a FREE TRIAL with a $5.00 Shipping and all proceeds help a Soldier’s wife become an overnight success. I received my so-called free trial and my charges were astronomical!! I only received a couple of shipments and have been charged over $1,000.00 to our account. We disputed it with our bank and they took off the charges, we changed our credit card number only to receive another $400.00 charge and the Bank said they were a legit Company and I had signed up for a monthly deal. I NEVER agreed to a Contract and every charge on my statement was a different name of the Company. They NEVER left any Customer number in the Package and they even sent me a Cancellation letter after this happened only to be charged another $400.00 on our last statement!! I am besides myself and it has caused a financial situation with my other important household monthly bills which have caused them to bounce!! I feel so Desperate and Helpless!! Do you have the number to Vera Cell? Please Help!!

    Sincerely,

    Susanne

  • Karen DeG

I fell for an ad that showed Oprah, Kate Middleton and Dr Oz. It was for Eunisse vitamin C cream. It was supposed to be free with a $4.95 postage fee. In a week I got a package of the Eunisse, and another package with Gifted Anti-aging cream for another $4.95. I let that go, but 2 weeks later I was billed 89.45 and $89.78, and a month later the charges were repeated. We finally caught on, and called them. Sorry….no refunds for any reason. We called our bank and have to dispute the charges and we will find out within 60 days if we can be refunded. We were afraid of more charges, so we closed that credit card.

I do not have a question, only information.First of all, thank you Rachel for posting Skin Balance to the list, but the # on their website is 1-855-302-0540.You should also add tryskinadvance #1855-829-6959. Previously I had left 2-3 comments here, saying those 2 companies are a scam.I just wanted to let everyone to know that I filed a complaint with the BBB,against Final Skin>Advanced Anti-Wrinkle Cream, and Skin Flow Anti-Wrinkle Serum.I called my credit card company and they told me they were not a scam, even though I did not believe them.My advice to all who were scammed,is to do a thorough research on any scam company, which I did.BBB solved my problem very quickly..kudos to BBB, because I did get my full refund of $379.51.Therefore,I also want to thank Skin Balance and tryskinadvance for being very co-operative in returning my full refund. REMINDER: DO A LOT OF RESEARCH THEN FILE AT THE BBB SITE.

  • Jill

Hi there, I was scammed by one of these free trials in June 2017 and only realised in August after they had taken two different lots of money out of my account under the name of NOUVEAUEYEESSENCE and I called my banks fraud dept. they were very helpful and reimbursed me the two amounts and started an investigation, but warned me the scammers may try other made up names, so to be vigilant and check my bank statements. So September came and no money was taken, but a free eye cream came through the post, I warned my bank and they said no money had been taken, October came and no money was taken, then I have just received my November bank statement and they have taken £83.24 ($109.61) out of my account under a new name ONLINEORDEROHC.COM 8883875868, so I will be contacting my bank again today to see what they can do and to add this new name to the list of alias’s these sleazy scammers use. Please take a note of the number as I believe this to be their call number, so you can add to your list. Lets hope these awful people get whats coming to them-fingers crossed?

  • Sylvia

A friend of mine got scammed by Regenex cream. She got charged 89.95 within a month without her knowledge. Requested a refund but she got a ‘no’ for an answer. Cancelled and received a cancellation email but has to keep an eye on the account if they won’t take out more money.

    The number to cancel for

    Regenex is 1-888-312-5416.

  • Robin Siciliano

Radiant Revive is a SCAM!!! I purchased a “free sample” of their eye serum & cream on 10-31-17 & paid $9.85 for SH. Nothing on their site said I had to call & cancel within 14 days or that I would be billed an additional fee. On 11-16 I was billed $89.85 & on 11-17 I was billed $88.47. I filed a dispute with my bank but have not heard anything yet. I am not able to file a complaint with the BBB because they require contact info on the company you are filing a complaint about & I can’t find anything!!

  • Steven

I ordered a free trial for my daughter. They had Marie Osmund on their add. Yesterday, i got an order that I DID NOT ask for. I found numbers on receipt and called. After a lengthy argument, they gave me 50% refund.

    FEMORA-SERUM— 1-888-749-8211
    FEMORA-CREAM— 1-888-748-7543

Thank you for this blog! I should have known…when it is to good to be true, it probably is!!! Nouveau Restore-Revitalizing offered free trial if you pay S&H and then automatically started sending me monthly and charging over $100 for a 1 oz container. Thanks to your blog I was able to track down their phone # 888-439-6324 on my credit card statement. And yes they offered me 50% off then 60% off! NOPE! CANCEL IMMEDIATELY! They did and sent me an email confirmation. By the way, when my monthly order came, the box had no sender info nor dis the invoice within the box, not even the price! And of course the billing name on my credit card statement was different than the skin care name. I hope this helps others!

I may have missed a post but I am having a issue with Christy Brinkley products. Trail 4.95 and charged before they 14 days were up.
Does any one have a number that worked. As I try these numbers they are no longer in service. Thanks

  • Jamie Raychel Martinez

Thank you. Just called them. Like the post said, they tried to give me a discount. I explained I only wanted the trial and the package was delivered to the wrong address. My neighbor brought it to me the day they billed me a ridiculous amount.

  • Missy Edge

I had the same thing happen with Veracell and was charge $87 and $89.87 to my credit card. Of course the link was gone so I could not go back and look. I am not sure about all of you, but I never “agreed” to any terms; they are not a part of the order. They are on their site, but no where do you agree to them. I called the company and had someone who claimed to be an attorney tell me that I had to accept my actions. And tried the 25% employee discount, then 50% discount, I told him he had no right to charge my card and they were going to refund the full amount. I cancelled my card and lodged disputes on both charges. I had received email order confirmations from them, so I responded with the following message:

Please advise when credits will be issued, otherwise this will be escalated to the attorney general and BBB.

You are in direct violation of the Consumer Protection law: false advertising by using several television stars who had not given you permission to use their names/images in any way. Also, your contract content was in fine print and totally a different message (free) from the major big buzz flashy ad on the webpage. Those two things are against the Consumer Protection Law. I received notices within 24 hours that credits were issued. And I received credits on both within one week.

Whew – I was livid as I looked at what I agreed to on my order and NO WHERE did it say I agreed to this.

Good luck and so sick of everyone being ripped off.

  • Sandie Belnap

I think all this trial samples are all a scam. You order what they are supposed to be sales but when you receive the box it is something totally different. How many are out there they all do same thing just a differnet name. What a for real scam.

  • Gilah

FYI the phone number for Radiant Revive is 855-633-0203. BE CAREFUL. They charge an enormous amount for tiny jars after the initial trial.

  • Carole Triplett

I made the mistake of agreeing to a trial for La’Cell Revitalizing Skin Cream and Eye Cream. Then the product kept coming and I was not paying attention (had a death in the family and was focusing on that) and just thought I could send it back. Then noticed the $98.71 charge for the skin cream and $89.77 for the eye cream ON MY CREDIT CARD FOR THREE MONTHS…YIKES!! I called 888-334-0849. They cancelled my subscription, sent an email confirmation and gave me a 50% discount on the product I already have. BUYER BE AWARE is always good to remember!!

  • Sandy

They scammed me as well. I never confirmed my order, a representative called me to complete my order and I told him I did not want to order, I could not afford the monthly subscription. That night I got an alert from my credit card company that there was a $89 charge. I disputed it right away. I then received a package in the mail with no contact information at all. I was charged a second time, luckily I had a block put on my credit card so they cannot charge me again. The fraud department at my bank contacted me and said they will dispute the charges with the company.
I finally located the following information and cancelled any subscription and asked for a refund. I doubt I will see a refund.:

    Hello Rachel,
A while back I sent a comment with a scam site called Final Skin, and I gave you their phone # to add to your list. Since then I have been reading more complaints about Final Skin, and I noticed you didn’t add Final Skin to your list. I found this website for you to look at > http://www.scam-detector.com/social-networking-scams/kate-middleton-skincare-product< (THE KATE MIDDLETON FINAL SKIN TRIAL SCAM) Can you please add Final Skin to your list now? Thank you in advance.

I just got scammed the company name is final skin its also apparently promoted by Dr oz and Kate Middleton. I initially paid just shipping 3.97 I’m in toronto Canada. Now my credit card has been charged over 600$ by final skin, new skin and another skin company.

  • DIANNE

I previously added a comment about Final Skin with their phone number, but it was never added to your list, as I was scammed also for $377.28cad for 2 products, 2nd one Skin Flow I did not order(that was the total after they weren’t pending, it went up) I did a lot of research since I was getting no where with final skin. In response to Linda who is looking for a # for Final Skin..finalskin.com>1-866-924-2071, they are from Las Vegas. finalskinonline.com>1-855-548-0477, they are from London England. finalskincare.com>1-877-296-6889, they are from London England also. (finalskinonline.com and finalskincare.com both have the exact same website page, but different #’s) I had called all those #’s and got no where, they were all very rude to me. I will be reporting them to the BBB.
    Good Luck Linda

I am looking for a phone number to final skin. I have charges on my credit card which I need cancelled. -Linda

A: Linda, call your bank I don\’t think I have that one.

  • tommy

  • Tanya

I have an allergy to this skin creme and am trying to cancel it as I have already received another jar. Do you have a customer service phone number for Ephamere Skin, 3983 S. McCarran Blvd #508, Reno NV 89502? I don’t get an answer on the listed number 888-552-9750. Please let me know. I believe this is a scam.

  • Pamela

I was charges 4 different shipping fees from the same company they appear to look like 4 different companies from 3 different states then they Charged my card 92.89 within in 13 days they did this

  • sharon

I have a number for you. I cancelled my automatic monthly bill which when I asked was for $89.87 mo. It is for RE:Youth revitalizing moisture and RE:Youth Rejuvenating facial serum. 866-483-7758 (St. Petersburg, FL) I told them that I had a reaction to it and they cancelled the order. Ordered it 11/04/2017 and cancelled 11/15/2017. Thank you for the info or I would have been suckered into this as well.

  • Rosalie

I don’t have a question. I just wanted to add two new names to this fraud-scam-etc.list.
    UNEEQ SKIN CARE PH.# 1-888-603-8746
MAJIK EYE CREAM PH. # 1-888-603-8762
Both were free samples just had to pay S&H.
I got both as described. Before I had a chance to see if they worked I had an order in the mail. I refused the order and had the post office return the package.
I then found these two ph. numbers. I called and of course they said I was supposed to call and cancel if I didn’t want their product. I didn’t have a chance to see if I wanted more as I hadn’t had the product long enough to see if it worked. (by the way I did use the samples up and they did nothing. I couldn’t see any change at all.) This was advertised on Dr. OZ show. I always felt Dr. OZ was a fraud and now I know for sure he is.
Only res[ponse I got when I called was they refunded a small portion of the cost of the creams and said they had canceled my order.
All of the actors that do those commercials are a fraud too. When things are utterly not true why can’t they do something to the ones that speak falsely.

I would like to warn ANYONE who is thinking of trying out the Lumidaire products that you are most certainly going to be scammed. DO NOT agree to any kind of trial in any way shape or form.
First of all , the products do no what they proclaim, and secondly, if you do not cancel within the time frame of 14 days, which includes the time you ordered – not the time you received the product, you will be paying close to $100 per month – yes – $100 per month for this total scam. I can’t tell you how disappointing it is to know that these people refused to help me. REFUSED! I will not stop until I have my money back !

  • Duana

I ordered 2 samples,Alesse and Envie. I received an e-mail confurmation, then a tracking information, then the product arrived. I immediatly call the # on the packing slip and canceled the auto ship program. I received an e-mail confurmation. My issue was that another 2 products arrived the same day with mo packing slip. I had no confurmation e-mail because I hadn’t ordered the products. I tried the phone numbers on the products and wasn’t in their system. When my bank statement came I had been charged the sample prices. Not being able to cancel the auto ship I had to cancel my card! These companies had tailgated off the first 2 products! If you find a legitemate number for either of these companies, please let me know Thank you Duana

I just cancelled my subscription for Euphoria. I have 2 more phone numbers to add to your list. 855-200-2595 and 888-407-1323. The same guy answered both numbers as I had 2 different order numbers I was afraid he wasn’t being truthful. He said “I just talked to you ma’am, I told you I cancelled both of them”
He wouldn’t give me a confirmation number though, said the order number was the confirmation.
Hope that will be the end of it! Thanks for the information and the good that you are doing!

    Rachel,

I just wanted to thank you for this information. My father ordered some products and had no clue about the charges that were about to hit his credit card. I tried looking all over for phone numbers to cancel his Luminary order. Thanks to your post, I was able to cancel the order before my father was charged. Thanks again, this really saved us

  • anne reeve

Thank you for providing these numbers! I managed to contact them. They are based in Singapore. Very aggressive. If you signed up to a sample, they said you signed up for an ongoing membership – it’s in their terms and conditions on their website! I responded that I was never directed to any website or informed of any membership. She said, that’s your responsibility. Unfortunately I had to threaten to get the Australian police involved. They then promised a full refund and I have email confirmation that these transactions are ceased. Thank you for your help!

  • Celeste P

Radiant Revive 855-633-0203 scammed me out of two charges of 89.99. Saying they were backed by Shark Tank I thought I read all the fine print and was getting a “risk free trial” for shipping costs only. I went to my bank immediately and they found a phone number on the withdrawal and called the company. I then spoke with a woman who said the risk was for “14 days” then they charge you full price, “you checked the box your responsible”. I then told her I would like a refund and she said she would only give me a 35% refund, I told her that was unacceptable and I wanted a full refund, she said she would give me a 50% refund and I again told her I wanted a full refund, She then said well how about I give you no refund. I then went back and said fine to the 50%. I feel so cheated and angry that these people can get away with this. What can we do to stop these people???

Celeste, wow, this infuriates me so I can’t imagine how mad it must have gotten you, sorry. The best way to fight against these crooks is not agree to any short term free trials such as these using their fake celebrity ads. Best way is awareness. I always ask people to share my post and no one does. I even posted it on my personal Facebook page and said “friends and family, please share so your aunts, mothers and grandmothers stop getting scammed” and no one shared it. Education against these scams is our best defense because no one’s doing shit about it. Thanks, Rachel

Thank you Rachel for putting this info together and sharing with all who need it! My elderly mother was scammed by EyeNovela – SkinNovela. She signed up for a “trial” and was charged $95 for months thereafter. She tried cancelling the subscription a couple of months ago but the products and charges continued. I was just made aware of this situation the other day and called to cancel right away. I was given a cancellation # and was told an email of the cancellation would be sent.

I have another scam website and phone number to add to your list. http://www.finalskin.com 1-866-924-2071
I ordered a free trial sample of anti-wrinkle cream from them and the cost was $2.85 for shipping. They charged me 4 different times on my credit card for a total of $8.79.Then they charged me twice on my card for a total of $368.46. I called the number and the guy said I never ordered anything from them and they were not finalskin. He also said they do not ship products to Canada, which is where I live. All in all he was in a rush to hang up on me. WARNING..DO NOT ORDER THEIR “FREE TRIAL SAMPLE!! SCAM!!

    2. Nouveau Eye Essence. Email: [email protected] Phone +61-383758703.
I have tried to contact both via email, and have not received a response, also via phone, not listed.

Does anyone have a number for veracell, nuevew, or snapshot. Veracell is the product, nuevew and snapshot is who billed my credit card $89 and $87!! I was sure I read all the fine print before accepting, but obviously there was more than I saw. I have reported to my credit card and cancelled my credit card. I had email confirmations so I responded to those to please cancel and to confirm receipt.
what more can I do? Do you think the bank will insist I pay it?? UGH! what a mess

I, too, ordered the Ama Bella cream and eye care for $4.95 each. I receive the product. I didn’t think it did a whole lot of good so I decided to cancel. Of course I couldn’t find a number but when my credit card statement arrived I was shocked to see a pending charge of $82 plus for each product. Fortunately a number was included on the statement so I called it. I spoke with a pleasant enough gentleman who told me I was two days past the two week trial date and would be responsible for the cost of the product. After arguing for a bit he made me a “special deal of 50% off this shipment (that I had not received yet) and all subsequent shipments), also saying that I was still responsible for payment of the pending shipment. He made me feel there was nothing more I could do so I agreed. After thinking about it overnight I figured if the shipment had not been sent and the credit card had not been charged, then how could I be responsible for it? I called back this morning and talked with a pleasant enough woman and told her as I I did not have possession of the product and my credit card had not yet been charged I wanted it cancelled immediately. She then offered me 75% off this order and all future orders. (Kind of tells you how overpriced it is to begin with!). I told her I did not want this shipment or any future shipment and after a few more special offers she finally conceded to end my shipments immediately. My next step would have been to contact my credit card company but it proved unnecessary. I have learned my lesson and will remember if a deal seems too good to be true it probably is!

Ageless Products (888)-383-7009 or (888)-509-8221 (one from the bank, one from an email).
They sell a trial of LeBeleaux, force you to purchase the skin cream, charge $10.95 AND $39.46 initially. The next month there are two charges for $39.46, one from Ageless Products and one from Quantum Aging. The bank threw out the one for Quantum Aging almost right away, but not the one for Ageless Products. I’m currently going through the process to have the company return the funds to my bank. As soon as they have done that I will return the product, which I had understood was a one-time trial purchase (I even reread the subscription email to be sure, it says nothing about a recurring subscription or charge).

That is the biggest scam amount I have heard of! Was that for 1 product for 1 month? I don’t know how long ago the amount was deducted from your account, but you may be able to get your bank to issue you a new card so the scammers can’t charge any more! I’m sorry to hear you were scammed for so much.

I got scammed today and I never get scammed! The hook was Meryl Streep Skin Care Breakthrough from an ad that stated:
(We say goodbye to Meryl Streep) and other celebs and the product is Femora Anti aging Cream and Eye Serum. The page clicks take you into where you pay and nowhere did it describe the possibility of a subscription for more creams even after the Thank you page there was no clue. But I saw in light grey the standard words you find on just about any webpage now a days “Terms and Conditions”. I click and there it described the entire situation I just bought into. More purchases will be charged one for the full price of the samples some $84.00 and then every 28 days or such $97.00 for more of the product. It also states that price changes are up to them… And on and on! I got *3 phone numbers (see at end) one from their “Terms and Conditions” and 2 from my Bank. I had received an immediate phone call from my back when I made this purchase only $4.95 and $3.95 for the 2 samples. I called my Bank back right away and told them what happened and asked them to cancel my credit card right away. Then I drove down to my bank and further explained and asked them to please call the company and “see” If I could back out It all went smoothly and I was issued another Card right then. My banker was sure that we got the person’s name, and a confirmation number. We were told that we would receive an email stating that my order was cancelled. (It’s been 5 hours still no email!) He told me to keep a daily eye on my account, just to make sure that they were not able to get past my Canceled Credit card! WOW! WHEW! I also found (after the fact) that this scam is listed on Snopes dot com, as well.
Here are the Phone numbers to cancel:
First from their “Terms and Conditions” article:
    1-888-748-7543
And then my Bank gave me these 2 numbers to call if that did not work:
    877-418-4339
    877-418-4750

Thank you Rachel for your site!

  • Natalie

I just got scammed by this too. I believed this was a legitimate/good product because of the Shark Tank endorsement. How horrible that these are just scams! I’m so mad at myself for falling for this! And now I can’t figure out how to cancel 🙁

Natalie, so sorry you got scammed, this Shark Tank cream scam is the worst…. if you can’t find the number on my list or can’t get through, call your bank and dispute the charges, they may be able to give you a number as well but I would dispute regardless. Good luck! Rachel

For “Only Eyes” to cancel here is the #::

    877-746-6620

When I ordered Psydosurge this was an add-on item, but Ony eyes can see if you have an “open” account with Psydosurge or not. And if you want to cancel both, you have to do so by calling 2 different numbers. Psydosurge was courteous and helpful, but Ony Eyes was not.

  • Becki

Just ordered trial of Radiant Revive Anti wrinkle serum from a Shark Tank link yesterday. Wish I would have done the research before. Does anyone have the number for this product. From the research I’ve done today I think the same product is being sold under a few different names. Can someone please help me. I feel so stupid right now but there is no way I can let them take more money out of my account I used my debit card to order the $4.95 sample.

  • Jennifer

I saw an ad on Facebook for Hydrologica which was supposedly a huge Shark Tank success. I started reading there link it provided and days they were only offering 250 trial samples for only the cost of S&H. The eyecream was $5.87 and the face cream was $4.95. You had to pay separately fur the S&H charges. I was charged for those on 8/28 then on 9/13 my card was charged $79.95 from Healthyeye from one address and then also $89.95 from Healthy Glow Advanced from a different address. Now today I was charged again from both places. The card that came with the “free Trial” products says Hydrologica LLC. St Petersburg Florida. and the phone number is 1-888-980-7740. I just called them and it was obviously a call center and the guy was Indian. He said that the website i ordered the stuff from stated there was an auto subscription and i agreed to it. I never saw that or i wouldn’t have ordered it. And i told him that even if that was the case i shouldn’t have been charged for the first month since it was a trial and it started all i had to pay was S&H. But if course he argued and said i was wrong. i demanded he cancel me immediately and that i would be sending the next package back. he said i had to call them when i recieve it to get a return authorization. It’s totally a scam. I don’t have any problems with the real legit companies. they don’t hide the fact that it’s discounted when you enroll in monthly shipments.

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Hi Jennifer, sorry you got caught in this…. they charge you the full price on the 14th day when the “free” part of the trial is up. I would try disputing the charges altogether with your bank or credit card company. They may allow you to send it back but they will usually only offer 30% or sometimes 50% refund. If you demand 100% and ask to speak to a supervisor you may get lucky. Good luck! Rachel p.s. thanks for sharing the numbers, I’ll add to my list!

  • Nancy Wright

This number listed for Aqua Refine Serum is incorrect: 866-382-9638, however the second listed number is correct. It’s ALSO the same number to successfully contact Revine Eye Creme (877-338-2634).

Thank you for this web page it was incredibly helpful!!

I sent my $4.95 to Lumidaire mid-July after seeing the Sharktank ad. They’ve charged us $90 four separate times since, over a two month period. Thanks to your information, we called our credit card company who immediately cancelled our card, will be reissuing new ones, and are investigating.

Lumidaire is currently disguised as “Youngager” on our credit card bill. The TWO numbers associated with Youngager on our bill are: 877-428-6020 and 866-429-0490.

Tomorrow I will call “Youngager,” cut right to the chase and calmly threaten them with the BBB, our attorney general’s office and the FTC if they don’t close my account and give us a full refund. We’ll see what happens. 🙂

  • Jeannette Villarreal

I just cancelled the subscription for the eye and skin cream. Got my confirmation emails. Also, suppose to get a credit on my card for shipping charges on both. Just wondering….how is the skin and eye cream? Has anyone tried it? Am curious. Didn’t even open the product just the envelope it came in so I could get the packing slip. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND INFORMATION!!!

  • Karen

I signed up for a FREE trial of Lumidaire cream which I paid $4.95 shipping. Today I received the products in the mail, with 2 other products that I didn’t order. When I checked my bank account online I saw 3 charges from 3 different companies. I called the number on the box, 877-565-3016, and did talk to a human. I have not removed the protective packaging, I only opened the box, but was told I could not get a full refund for a product I didn’t order and only got a 50% refund. The customer service agent told me they couldn’t accept a return because they could not re-sell the product. I reminded her that I have not opened the original packaging but this fell on deaf ears. I will be contacting my bank to advise them to not allow any future charges from any of these companies. These people need to be put out of business just for their unsavvy business practices and fined for deceiving their customers.

I have two trial size skin care from Jullen Skin Care( Costa Mesa, CA), I didn’t realize that it was a scam, until I read about other advertisements on my phone. They were selling trial orders by different celebs. I will be calling these phone numbers ASAP, 1(888)6877397, 1(888)6877431; I received another box today from the same location. • Minda

Lumidaire is a scam company. Do not use this product. They charged me $188.38 today after a sample shipment was sent to me last month. No where did I see I would be billed automatically. I called within minutes of the charge today and they REFUSE to REFUND!!! Total SCAM! They said I CAN NOT RETURN it even if it’s not opened! I’ve contacted my bank. Unfortunately I used my debit card, so I’m disputing the charge. Lumidaire said they cancelled the auto shipments. I cancelled my card! This company used Joanna Gaines name to lead me to believe it was her cream I was sampling!!! Now I’m reading Joanna’s name is being scammed in association with this company! I’m not finished with this company!

CONTACT INFORMATION FOR ATHENO IS THE SAME AS GLOW ETERNAL (included in your list of names); as well as the eye cream they suggest after you click ‘yes’ for the ATHENO cream trial.

I fell victim to their scam a few hrs ago… THANKFULLY, with the help of this blog post, I was able to locate them (this was tricky) and DEMANDED a full refund and cancellation.

    It took me several attempts.
They continually stated that I was not in their system.

Finally, the rep asked me for the first 6 and last 4 numbers of my card & was able to locate my “account” using this information.

I will be cancelling this credit card, stating it is stolen, in case the company decides to sell my information to other companies, as I have heard some do.

Back to the story…At first, the customer service rep stated that she was unable to cancel & that her supervisor wasn’t available, and she pushed that she was a third party, bla bla…
But I DEMANDED and followed the advice given in these posts…i stated that I would be contacting the BBB and I would see to it that their company is shut down if I see or hear ONE MORE thing from this d*** company…she quickly gave in and cancelled the subscription & gave me a full refund & agreed to email me confirmation, as well as provided a confirmation number.

Thank you for such helpful information!!

Woohoo, Chelsea!! Good for you for sticking to your guns with these SCAMMERS! You have to be tough and not take no for an answer which is exactly what you did. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment, love hearing these stories of refunds, it means my instructions are working and people are listening! Consumer education is the best way to fight against these people. I did a CBS Austin TX interview this past Wednesday on these scams, if you’d like to see the story, please like my Facebook page, I’ll be sharing it next weekend, it’s supposed to air Friday Sept. 29th. Thank you! Rachel

Not a question. Thank you for providing these phone numbers. I was unable to locate a number for Skin Balance to cancel; you provided the number and help on how to handle the call, which ended in successfully cancelling this order. I am very grateful!

  • Crista Reese

Yes, you will be charged. I ordered the cream and was told I would pay s/h only for a trial size, then when “checking out”, an eye serum was added to my order and another s/h charge. A few days later, I received the two trial sized products. Yesterday, I happen to read that this was a scam. I looked more it and came across this site. Thank the Lord!! I called the # listed here on this site for LUMINARY REVITALIZING MOISTURIZER. I asked them if my account had been charged for more than the s/h fee of the two trial-sized products. OMG. They had charged my credit card $93.99 for the cream and $93.87 for the eye serum. They said they could not refund me because it was past the two week trial period. I told them this was a scam and I did NOT sign up for a subscription. She offered me a discount. I refused. She offered me a bigger discount. I refused and told her I was calling the BBB today and also reporting them to my state’s attorney general’s office. She immediately said she would refund my cc for 100% of the charges and that I would get a confirmation email within 24-48 hours. We will see. SO thankful for this site and its suggestions and advice!!

Crista, yay!! Good for you for being tough – this is what I tell people in my steps to cancel, just don’t take no for an answer, ask to speak to a supervisor, etc. I’m really happy to hear that they seem to be cooperating. Keep a close eye out for that email and call them back if you don’t get it. You can’t really trust a word they say until they actually do give you a refund. If they don’t, then definitely file a fraud dispute with your credit card company or bank. Let me know if you need a legit skin care recommendation, I’m happy to help. Thanks! Rachel

I believe I have been scammed, but the company name isn’t on your list. It’s Exotique Ageless Eye Serum and Revitalizing Moisturizer. Their number is 866-665-8423. There is an additional number 866-665-8339 going as MKIEDIA*LASTINGSOFT

Hi ! I found an email address and I wrote to them asking them to reply within 24 hours regarding the issue otherwise I would have hired a lawyer . They replied and gave me a number where to call. Furthermore, I asked my bank to close a dispute but in the main time I was able ( after one hour of conflict discussion ) to manage and to cancel the trial and the “contract” ( I never signed ) and to get my money 100% ( the last month ) back. At the beginning they tried to explain to me that I had signed something what is not true and that they can not do anything ; so I got furious and I told them I do not care and I did not signed anything like this and that they are a scam company and that what they are doing is a fraud and if they do not do anything to stop charging my card and to refund my money I will open a dispute against them together with many other people who have been scammed by them. so , after a long discussion they cancelled the ” never signed contract” and they offered me 35 % refund; I said no , I want 100% …blablabla… then it was 50%, 75 % and at least 100% because I kept telling them they are a scam company and I am not the only one person being frauded by them and I do not care and I want 100% back…

Hi Tina, thanks for sharing! I had a different number for Visalia so I’ve added yours as well. Sometimes they get tricky and change their number… good for you for sticking to your guns and playing hardball, that’s what you HAVE to do. ~Rachel

Following up on my post I reported them to the BBB who sent them a letter to contact me about this issue. They then sent me an e-mail confirming that thy had cancelled my account. I was one of the lucky ones that caught it in time. I cancelled my debit card so they could not charge me anything more. So i was only out the s/h fee that i paid.
The BBB claim is very easy to do on line. I wish more people would report these scam artists.

For those of you scammed by AmAbellaAlure, here is their customer support: 888 312 9445 & email: tryamabellaallure.com… I was able to secure a full refund today of $179.87 mostly because I was connected to a sympathetic customer service rep. Despite her attempts to give me a discount, I persevered by mentioning BBB & AG. After speaking with her supervisor, they tried to convince me to take a 35% refund, a 50% refund, a 75% refund, all which I refused. Finally they gave me the 100% refund. The call took over 20 minutes. Lesson learned!
