Free Trials for Skin Creams SCAM – Phone Numbers and How to Cancel!

free trial wrinkle creams

Free trials for skin creams SCAMS are running rampant online, especially on Facebook!

The ads for free trials for Shark Tank creams, Dr. Oz wrinkle creams, Oprah Winfrey, and other celebrity creams – they’re all bogus and only give you 12-14 days to try before billing and are impossible to cancel.

Their deceptive ads lure you in to accepting free trials for skin creams, and now you’re being billed each and every month for a cream that’s nothing short of an average moisturizer with subpar ingredients.

Free Trials For Skin Creams – Did you Accept an Offer?

Do you Feel That You Were SCAMMED? Here’s Help!

If you’re trying to find a phone number to call and cancel to stop the monthly billing, scroll down to see my list of phone numbers.

I’ve compiled this list over the last four years and have over 500 names and numbers!

Please be advised, I am NOT the one charging you, and I’m NOT the person to email to cancel your order (don’t shoot the messenger please!)  If the number is not on my list, CALL YOUR BANK and ask for the number.

My Interviews with CBS

I was interviewed by Cristin Severance with CBS 11 in Dallas, Texas about Free Trials for Skin Creams (watch it here).  Cristin is a Consumer Justice Investigator and has won 7 Emmy Awards!

I was also interview by Bettie Cross of with CBS Austin, TX about Free Trials for Skin Creams (watch it here or click the video below).free trial scams

Free Trials for Skin Creams – Take These Steps To Cancel & Stop the Billing

  1. If the number you’re looking for is not on my list, it means I don’t have it – CALL YOUR BANK FOR THE NUMBER.
  2. Tell your bank to look for the company who billed you the $4.95 S&H fees and any subsequent fees for the creams – it will usually be listed as a different company name than the cream (they do this purposefully to throw you off).
  3. At this point you have two options 1)file an immediate fraud dispute with your bank or credit card company, or 2)try to reach the cream company to cancel the subscription yourself. Sometimes the banks will not cooperate unless you’ve at least “tried” to reach them, sometimes they’ll do a three way call with you.
  4. Get the number and call the cream company and request that they cancel your subscription immediately.
  5. DO NOT give them your credit card number to search for your order – only give them your email or address to search.
  6. BE TOUGH – Do not take no for an answer, and don’t let them talk you into any discounts, or extending your free trial. If you get the runaround, ask to speak to a supervisor.
  7. Ask for a confirmation email of your cancellation, so this way you’ll have proof to show your bank if they continue to charge you.
  8. You can try to ask for a refund, but if you’re past the 14 day free trial period, unfortunately they usually don’t give refunds. They may offer to give you a 30% or a 50% refund if you mail the cream back to them.
  9. If they are not cooperative (which they generally aren’t), threaten to report them to the BBB and your state’s attorney general’s office if they do not comply. Reporting them regardless of the outcome is a good idea, we need to fight back.
  10. You may also try disputing the charges altogether with your credit card company, but some are more helpful than others.

If you have numbers that I’m missing, please share by leaving a review or comment down at the very bottom (please don’t send it by email) with the name of the cream and the phone number.

I’d love to growth this phone number list to help others who have been scammed!

Q: Just signed for free trial of Facial Revive - is this a scam too? -Donna

A: Donna, yes Facial Revive is a scam in my opinion. They're going to bill you about $90 on day 14 when the free trial is up. Day 1 is the day you ordered. All of the Facial Revive websites are flipping to new wrinkle cream scams, mostly the Coal Cream, which is just another scam. I can't find a phone number for Facial Revive since they're already furiously changing up their websites to new links. I would call your bank and see if they have a number on the back end. Or look at your bank online and look for that small $4.95 or so s&h fee. They bill under different company names but there may be a phone number listed. Or file a fraud dispute with your credit card company if you don't have any luck finding the phone number. Good luck. ~Rachel

Q: i was scammed by derma fixa for 195.48.ive been trying for over a week to get a refund but they refuse.im on ssi and ss so i certainly cant afford 195.00 monthly. im going to my bank today to try and get helpbut im so afraid they will try to take money again next month. they left me with nothing this month. will i have to worry about this? they supposedly closed the account but i dont trust them. -janey

A: Janey, I'm so sorry about this. Definitely file a fraud dispute with your bank and if I were you, I would ask the bank to open a new account for you and close the other one. But be sure and file the fraud dispute along with that. Also be sure that you've cancelled your ongoing subscription which it sounds like you did. Did they send you an email confirmation that they've cancelled? Good luck, Rachel

Q: Ordered a trial of Reversaderm and immediately After I ordered knee something was not right. I called back to cancel and they won't let me...how do I get out of this? Cancelled my credit card and reported it as fraud. There was a shark tank ad for it and it's never been on that show. Very deceiving. How do I cancel if they won't let me? -Stephanie

A: Stephanie, I've heard of these bogus shark tank ads for skin creams. I found the phone number for Reversaderm Skin Care (888)614-9317 and I've added it to my list. Thank you so much for sharing this info with me, and the world! Hopefully someone will see this before they order. What do you mean they won't let you cancel? Call them asap and demand to speak to a supervisor and don't take NO for an answer. Tell them to cancel your subscription immediately and to send you an email confirmation. Threaten to report to the BBB and your State's Attorney General's Office. They are bullshitting you saying you can't cancel. Gotta play hardball with them. Please try again and good luck! ~Rachel

Q: Is info@es_skinsupport.com a scam website I've just made a mistake by ordering some trail creams I've tried to cancel by calling these numbers 08001422496 and 08000564834 but keep getting the phone put down on me.They also keep replying same email when I tried to cancel by email. What can I do next? -Paula

A: Paula, that's an email address not a URL for a website. I can't find a cream that matches with that email address on my list. Those don't appear to be US numbers are they?? File a fraud dispute with your bank. Do you have any idea what the names of the creams are? ~Rachel

I was scammed by Prima Belle Skincare Serum – DO NOT PURCHASE. It doesn’t work and they almost drained by checking account. I call the following number and I could tell he was a scammer because he kept asking me stupid questions. I have reported them to the BBB as well. My bank will not let me dispute the charges and said they are legit.

    Almost 300 dollars

  • Gloria Valdez

I too was scammed by Avielle Cream. The number to cancel the subscription that you didn’t know you had is 1-855-946-7533. I was able to cancel and avoid paying $96.95 charged twice.

  • Carla parker

I only ordered to try this product (ava skin, advanced skin and eye serum. A week later they drew 99.85 twice so 199.70 dollars. What is going on? This is a scam!! This is criminal I have filed a dispute with my card company. Can you give me some insight on this situation.

  • Dina

Anyone have information for Velvetrestorativehydra or performanceperfectheal! They are hitting my account daily…I keep money in another so it doesn’t clear but they need to be stopped! Total BS and the product sucks too!

  • Susan

Has anyone tried Truviqueserum for the eyes. I want to cancell but the web site is no longer available. I never get a shipping paper when they automatically send me the eye serum. So I have no numbers to call.

  • Mary J Rhodes

I got 2 charges from 2 different sites.I ended up paying $135.88 and $139.92 for Prima Belle product. The trial offer was $6.29 and $5.49. I’m fighting with them now we’ll see how this turns out. Just wanted to reduce some wrinkles instead the only thing I reduced was my bank account.

  • Patricia

Hello and thank you for this blog,

I ordered a free sample of the Anavale Skin serum and was only asked to pay 5.99 for shipping. I did NOT see any other paperwork saying that I had 14 days to cancel or be billed for a full subscription, else I would have immediately. That was in January, and now on March 13, I was billed almost $100 for a full subscription. I tried to call the company but they said that the stipulation was there when I authorized my card for the shipping but when I asked them to please send me a copy of that wording and proof that i approved such transaction, they said I had to go to the website. So then I asked what website and they said we don’t have that information you’ll have to go back to the page when you purchased and so a loop ensued about it. Then I asked who is Mutual Health Wellness, the company who emptied out my allowance account and they said that did not know. I said okay, then what is the name of your company? They actually said “Customer Service.” I said no the name, and they said that information will be on the page where you purchased and so as you can see, it got embarrassing for us both since they weren’t willing to even divulge who they even were. I am not one to complain about every little thing but I truly feel this was done in such a way to have the purchaser not know what they were getting into; therefore, i m only posting this to prevent others from not reading the fine print that wasn’t there to read or least nowhere to found now. Thank you again for this blog and an opportunity for us to alert others to what might happen if they opt to buy a free sample of a skincare product. Please beware.

    Sincerely.

  • Debbie

I see these posts are from 2017 and 2018. This is still going on. I was contacted by the fraud department of my bank regarding some charges on my account to Comely Instruction and Delicate Seduction for $178.16. I had absolutely no idea what this was. I disputed the charges and had to cancel my card. Then I find out it was for a “free” trial of a skin cream called Lumere Skin Serum. The bank did not reverse the charges because the company said I did not cancel or return the product. I had no idea I was doing anything other than a free trial for the price of the shipping. No where did I agree to or see that there would be any other charges. I called and talked to their customer service department and got asolutely no where. The phone numbers on the bank charges were 855-544-2192 and 855-666-8566. I am going to report it to this to the BBB and the attorney generals office. The product was shipped from 16458 Bolsa Chica St. #905 in Huntington Beach CA.

I think i was scammed by jennifer aniston buyclarifyskin antiaging cream. 3day free trial $6.85 shipping and handling..

    • Loretta Ornelas

I was also scam 200.00 for cream and serum bank put back in to my account then said not company mistake and removed it out again what a scam this was Jennifer Aniston promo

Do you have a number for Vasseria moisturizer? After the 4.95 cleared 2 more payments from 2 different merchants were charged totalling another $60.00 I quickly cancelled my debit card. Ad was from facebook. It promised 30 day trial for 4.95 shipping cost.

  • Julie

How can I get help to get my money back from “Gleam and Glow Serum”? I ordered a FREE trial (for $4.95 shipping) from them on 1/3/22. They immediately charged my debit card $119.85!! I tried to call their “customer service” phone number and I couldn’t get anyone to answer. So I immediately called my bank to report the fraud. They opened a case and said they would look into it. Long story short, they told me there was nothing I could do to get my money back because the serum company said it was an “approved” purchase. Which is a TOTAL LIE!!! So I finally got ahold of the customer service for this company, and they refused to give me my money back. I NEVER received any product (which I do not want from the crooks now). So I’m out this money, and they are getting away with fraud. What can I do to stop these people from ripping other people off? Will I ever be able to get my money back?

  • Patricia

What was supposed to be $4.95 for Janifer Anniston skin cream turned out to be $119.85 from niacom co and another $95.85 from glassclue glad!! Help that’s my rent money

  • Laura

Serious Skincare… They just sent me a second set of tubes that I did not order order I called the phone number to speak to customer service and you can only leave a voicemail I also sent them an email I am so upset with myself I used my debit card so I’m calling my bank tomorrow when they open because today is Sunday and going to tell them I need this canceled, stopped immediately I hope I don’t get stuck paying for this 2nd set I will never use them again ever lesson learned?

    • Kathleen McGee

Free anti wrinkle cream, only pay shipping. It says you can read reviews but it just keeps bringing you back to their website to reread the information regarding their skin cream

      • Donna Bertrand

They got me. They sent full size products and was charged over $200 for 2 products. I will never learn not to buy anything on Facebook

  • Valerie

I was looking at a skin cream, I put my credit card in as I looked at a trial sample for $4.91. I could not find recurring charges. I looked at the terms and conditions & decided not to go forward and backed out of the site, not signing. They sent me the creme anyway. I always take a photo of anything I sign & when it is coming & the dates I have to cancel, but I did not actually order this creme. It is from. The 1st bill is from Proskin Cream Beauty Skin Club. The next came and is Billed from RevilliereSkin Creme.cm. I haven’t even figured which card Has been billed yet. I sent an email to stop sending crimes & will call the numbers. I appreciate your info to help stop and appreciate any help you can give me. Last time I told me credit card I dmhad fraudulent charges ( a TV kept being charged over & over( they cancelled ,& reissued my cars, but never took the charges off. Any advise would be helpful here. Now the cremes are starting to come on my email not monthly but every 2 weeks or sooner and they changed billing names. Really scummy for something I didn’t sign.

  • Kellie James

I was scammed by Hydra Riche. Saw it on Facebook as an add for trial offer only for 7.53 and 6.53 for their two products. Thing is in supper small fine print that if you don’t call them in 14 days after getting the product, they will automatically charge you full price of 93.95 and 91.89 for the products. I made that mistake. So I called and gave my review (it doesn’t do what they say it will do) and told them to cancel any future shipments. Guess what – they didn’t cancel and was charged again for products I had cancelled. I called and talked to the rep and he gave me a run around and was only going to give me fifty percent of my money back and I refused and said all my money should be returned. I told them I had cancelled it when I called and they said no I didn’t. THey are liars and scammers. I am filing a complaint with the FCC, BBB and the State of Texas (Texas will make it where their products can’t be sold here ). The phone number to call them (it’s really futile but give it a try) is 888-349-2768. Good luck! I had to cancel my bank card so they can’t do it again. I advise everyone to do the same.

  • joann

This seem to be big business of scamming unaware people, I am working on clearing what I think is a scam from ordering skin creme suppostly by Dr Phil and Wife, once I clear it up I will put the results on your website with all information. Thanks for good people who check on different scam.

    • Arleen

I also was scam with Dr. Phil and wife. You only was to pay the shipping and handling instead they charge on my credit card 119.00 plus they sent me a eye serum for 95.00 that I didn’t order. At this time I have a dispute with them with my credit card. Will see what happens.

    • Kellie James

You have to call them within 14 days of the order or they will keep charging you 98 dollars I called to cancel and they didn’t canel it and I was charged twice. I had to cancel my bank card and get a new one to get it to stop. They wouldn’t cancel and I talked to the head supervisor Edwardo and he was no help. Cancel your card and get a new one. Otherwise you will be charged every month. I am reporting them to the FCC, BBB and the State of Texas. They are going to regret ripping me off.

      • Evelyn

I can’t find a website or phone to cancel my trial subscription. The product is: Avielle Anti-aging Face Cream and Anti-aging Eye Serum. I’ve looked for a phone number or a website for over a week now. There was no paperwork when the product arrived and no website.
Please help me! The face cream made my skin peel.

  • Virgie Sue Hodown

Scammed by Avielle for around $200. Do you have any information on this company so I can call and cancel any future orders? Maybe you can then add them to your list, the reviews I’ve read are not good and other people have had the same problem.

    • Pamela L Clark

I NEVER ORDERED FROM SOLO. BUT GOT CHARGED 49.95. CANCELING MY CARD MONDAY. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY GOT INFORMATION. THEY DIDNT EVEN SEND CREAM. SENT A BOTTLE OF COLLAGEN PILLS. CALLED AND DEMANDED CANCELATION. AND REFUND. GOT SOME IDIOT FROM INDIA ON PHONE. SAID ID GET REFUND AN EMAIL. GOT NEITHER.

  • tom pelkey

Hi,didn’t see “juliette beauty” on your list. Please add them as they scammed my wife with lies. Virtual credit card is good idea with unknown companies or get ready to shut your card down as we had to do ! The credit card company reversed the charges[thank you Jesus], but a big hassle especially with auto-pay setup on various utility accounts. These people if they don’t repent will suffer in HELL for their greed & lies. Thanks for this site & please put it on GAB also. Blessings tom.

  • Vickie Goble

Ordered the Trial offer for 4.99 for shipping x 2 items and handeling on Sept 9th.
Received the items and then on Sept 27th they charged 89.99 twice to my charge card.

Thought this was a trial and tthen if it was a good product would reorder did not see that they would charge you 179.98. If I had saw in the initial ad that the product was 89.99 each would have not even thought about ordering the trial size. if they did not hear from you in 14 days. The date would start from the day the order was placed not the day that you received it. This is a scam. the customer suppore number is 855-586-8603 and are of no help you can hardly understand them. Will never order a trial size product again. complete rip off.

Ordered a free trial offer from the email I was led to believe was from Sam’s Club. I answered a survey about Sam’s
and was then given an option to pick from several gifts. I received a small night cream and eye serum from Ultrassence. Today I noticed a charge on my bank statement
and called my bank first and told them this was not an authorized charge. I now have to get a new card to stop these charges. I found a number for Ultrassence on the jar and was given the spill about the 10 day trial.

  • Susan

Found a number for “Ferme’lique Cream. 1-844-475-9333. I purchased a trial with no other purchases, 2 months later my account was charged for two additional orders but billed under diet supplements. Took me a while to figure out what that charge was for and it was “Ferme’liqueCream” charging.

I just caught another one…Vale Skin Cream/Serum!! There number is 888-505-1914 and 888-503-1822. I was being charged TWICE by 2 separate names (Power Silverline Force and Nutrivora Healthy Tag) for the skin cream product Vale!!

    • Greg

My wife did the same thing. I have the credit card set to alert me whenever a charge posts. When I asked her about these charges she was clueless. Found your post and note the same phone numbers and “company” names. Immediately disputed both charges and locked her card. New card on the way. Vanity!

Hi Kathy, you’ll have to call your bank and ask them for the number of the company who is billing you. It could be under a different name than the cream name. Good luck! xo Rachel

Does anyone know of Auguri? I got the eye serum and face cream for trial and now I have gotten 3 more shipments and can’t find a way to contact them. My brand is not on your list. Once I sit down with my bank I will notify you if we find the number. I too was enticed with free just pay for shipping and handling offer. It was a trial for 14 days and if I like it they will send one every month or I could stop at anytime but there was not a way to call or email them to cancel.

    • Christine hall

Has anyone found a phone # for VegX or ZenX products. I’m trying to cancel. The # on the packaging belongs to a fibre optic company not related at all.

  • Wanda

Thank you Rachel for this page of information, what an eye opener!!

Please add the following names and numbers to your list of scammers:
    Intentional Life Advance & Sign a Gypsy Skin – 1-844-392-9614 (original shipping $5.87 & $5.45)
Struein *Fresh You Skin – 1-844-690-4470 (Charged $93.41)
    Hydra Essentials Shop (Charged $106.37)

I just got off the phone with customer service at Intentional Life Advance & Sign a Gypsy Skin, where I supposedly ordered my free trial. The customer service representative, Jerry, explained that my order was delivered on March 31st, so since I didn’t cancel I was obligated to pay the amounts charged to my account. I explained that my original order was placed on March 17th and to this date, I have not received. She said that it shows it was delivered and that she would give me the shipping confirmation. I told her that the shipping confirmation means nothing these days, I do not have the product, so how could I try it to decide if I wanted to cancel it, if I never received it????? She said they could refund $70.00 on the charge of $93.41 and $70.00 on the charge of $106.37, which I replied, NO, I want it all refunded, except the original $11.32 that I was expecting to be charged for the shipping. I asked “Jerry, would you actually pay for a product you never received?” “Also, I purchased on the 17th and even if I had received it on the 31st, how would I have had time to determine if I wanted to cancel?” She put me on hold again and when she came back on the line, she said that they agreed to cancel my order and no more charges would be deducted from my account and I would receive a refund for the $93.41 and $106.37 charges. I was given a confirmation number and told I would received an email confirmation within 24 hours. I will definitely stay on top of this. To anyone that may read this, PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF THESE SCAMMERS!!
    Thanks,
    Wanda

Please add the following name and number to our list. Rare Refinery, number to call is 1-855-200-5505.
i am so glad i found your site, too bad it was after the problem and not before the problem. They have agreed to cancel the subscription but I am going to call my credit card company anyway and maybe cancel my visa. If my Visa hadn’t arrived on the same day as the product I would have been out of luck because apparently if you don’t cancel within 10 days of the product being sent then you are on the hook. (that’s probably a big lie too)

Avilelle customer care line. I was refunfed one of two transactions. I am trying to get the customer service number.

How many ordered a free trial of skin care cream and serum from Iconilique through an add that stated to just pay for shipping? There was nothing that stated that when you checked a box to verify that you were over the age of 18 you would be billed an astronomical amount after a trial period and that you automatically had an account to receive the products on a monthly basis. I just called the one company whose name appeared on my bank account charging me $94.90 for one of the products. The name that showed for that charge was IMMANENTPROWESSFITNESS. The number for them that I got from my bank is 1-855-206-8144. This number did not appear with the transaction. The CSR that I spoke with tried to tell me that beside the box I checked stating that I was over 18, was where it showed the terms and conditions about the product. I told her that there was no such thing and that had there been, I would have never placed the order. She tried to offer me discounts for the future purchases starting with 30% and went as far as 75%. I told her that I wanted the unauthorized membership cancelled. Yet she continued to offer the discounts. I also stated that I wanted a refund. She refused to give me a refund. I asked her why I was reading about this being a scam and that I had read about so many other people that had fallen for the products. I asked her why there was hundreds of the same product under so many different names and so many different costs. She couldn’t give me a good answer. She just said that they work for different companies. She said that I couldn’t get a refund because I agreed to the terms and conditions when I checked the box about being over 18. She started getting pretty nasty with me about wanting a refund. I told her that I was going to call the Attorney General and the BBB and report this as a scam. She put me on hold for a few minutes. When she came back to the call, she told me that her supervisor authorized her to give me a full refund of the $94.90 that my account was charged. She said that I would receive an email within 24 hours that would show the membership was cancelled and that I would be getting a refund.
So, we will see. I also received a charge to my account in the amount of $85.90 from a name of QUIXOTICHDRAWONERENEW. The number for them is 1-855-206-9618. I will be calling them and demanding the same thing. Please add these names and numbers to your list as well.

    Thank you!

I’m in exactly same trouble with eye cream from co. Name : Solessa but did not find it on your list. They have wiped out a $500 Visa gift card that was supposed to only be charged $4.95. They stole the money that was going to be spent on eye glasses, orthotic shoes, a stabilizing walking cane and new clothes I badly need. How can they be getting away with this? Why isn’t someone arresting and suing them? Or the social networks that continue to allow they to commit fraud over their platforms? I’d sue if I could, they are grifters.

    BIGGEST SCAMMERS EVER!!
I called them to cancel my subscription and they were giving me such a hard time saying I should have gobe to the website and read the terms and conditions although I bought the product looking at the FB promotion.

I made so much noice and told them that I will report to BBB and file a dispute with my credit card company. I also told them that I will definitely considering suing the company too. They guy hung up on me. I called back and then the new agent told me the previous guy had left notes that if I call back they can refund the money. It was a half hour of heated dispute with the first guy but I was able to get my subsciption calcelled and get my money back.

There should be a better way of teaching these guys a lesson. Not sure how, but this company needs to be taught a lesson.

I fell for the “Free Trial” of Infinite Restore. Thankfully I found out quickly what had happened and called them to get as much info as possible. I was told that I would be charged over $100 for this product after the trial period and when I asked to immediately cancel my account they reduced the cost to $18.50. Sounds pretty fishy! The free trial period was supposed to be 10 days (+2 days for shipping) but they charged my card for the subscription the day after I requested my free trial. Three days later, and after a fight, I got confirmation that I will get a refund and assurance that I will get an email saying my account has been cancelled. I still don’t have product. Hope to try, but at this point I’m glad to get past this! Phone # to cancel: 1-844-377-2360.

I just ordered the Derma something???? It said only $2.99 for S&H , so how do I cancel ? Please help me ? I don’t have money to be paying a couple of hundred of dollars for cream. I just thought I would try it for my daughter.

Iconilique brand skin care. They are running a scam claiming a high end product. Two websites billed me for shipping: Tauraffectsslimsourceke 855-593-9453 Slaysculptimatelean 855-591-7981. The second attempted to bill me 85.95 after 14 days for free trial. My card fraud caught it and I cancelled the card. I calle the number and they admitted a trial and cancelled it. They would not refund the shipping though.

      • Gloria Castillo

On Feb 2, 2021, I ordered Iconilique skin care @ a shipping rate of $4.95 and the skin care serum @ $5.95 shipping. When I received my credit card bill I not only was charged for the above shipping, I was charged $94.90 for serum and $85.90 additionally for the cream on 2/17/2021. They allege I did not cancel within 14 days. The ad did not have this information as I recall or if it was there, it was not that evident. I managed to get a deduction of 75% on the additional $180
As the saying goes “let the buyer beware.”

    • Linnea Jones

Beware of infinite restore! I just paid for shipping and they took out $105.00, plus $51.00..i blocked my card and will call Fraud department at my bank! This ad was on instagram using a picture of Reese Witherspoon and her daughter! I have used dermalmd under eye treatment serum every day since I got it. I can tell a big difference. The bags under my eyes are going away. That makes me feel better when I look at myself. I love this and plan to keep using it. I recommend this if you want a difference in the eyes.

My bank stopped the charge of $111.90 from Janiche Hydro Boost and now they are calling me threatening to add additional fees and put it on my credit if I do not pay the $111.90. Also they stated they will not cancel the account until I have paid the full balance!

  • Jacie Wedberg

Here is another one to add to the list. I tried to get a refund and they said you signed up when you checked the box you agreed to the terms. I asked them to take me off their list and they said I’m a member…so I said cancel my membership. They said they will once you send back the unused portion at my own expense. They said if I don’t send it back, they will me more than $195. Plus, they will restart my membership and keep sending me more products.

November 2020 – ADD THIS TO THE LIST! NOUVEE FACE CREAM AND SKIN SERUM. 1-855-818-1065. A FREE OFFER on FB. Just pay shipping and handling. NO MENTION of a 14 day trial OR reoccuring charges.
Charged shipping and handling in NOV 2020 of $7.49 and $6.59. Weeks later a small package arrived with NO paperwork. Just 2 small samples. DECEMBER 15TH at 12:35am and 12:45am 2 Separate amounts were deducted. $87.43 and $89.65. I immediately notified my bank the next day and reported it. Cancelled my card. My bank called me with the number that they had found for me by investigating the transaction and the bank asked me to call and report back. I called and told them they charged my account for product I did not receive. The Man said, “You are being billed for what we sent you.” “You didn’t contact us within 14 days.” I told him that was ridiculous! AND THAT I reported it to the bank and cancelled my card. He said “THAT’S FINE! I will cancel your order and YOU will never get your money back!” HE HUNG UP ON ME! These and many other companies keep SHAPE SHIFTING and continue the same practices. FB and the internet have become a hotbed of thieves. Not only for beauty products, but clothing, homegoods, etc. 2 other questionable companies cesline (on FB) ladies clothing and Brownsloth. Both these companies are China based I found out. Took 4 months to receive a shirt from Cesline and they said ‘Please be patient’. No tracking # until I demanded it and tracked it through China to the West Coast. Brownsloth – I ordered a 10 ft. blow up Snowman and weeks later received a plastic 14″ snowman and the Chinese guy at a Gmail account in California said, You keep for nice gift for family. It will make a nice gift. Same Price. (It’s dented and beat up) Wouldn’t take it back and offered a $3 Refund! REALLY! Facebook is being taken advantage of from all these foreign and American companies and THE CONSUMER is being ripped off by the 1,000s daily. I have never ordered anything online, but did so in the last few months from these 3 companies and everyone of them was a RIP OFF!

I was too scammed and that is so embarrassing for me! Lavish grace skin care is one of the “from seen on the Sharks” that got me. I show you have Lavish Skin care on your list, but not Lavish grace skin care. I’m not sure if these are the same or not, but if they are, I wanted to give an updated number as the one you have is continually busy. The number I have is 888-936-7228 and I was able to cancel my order. I haven’t seen the cancelation email yet but they said it takes 2 to 3 days. I called 3 times verifying they showed it canceled and that I didn’t need to return the trial product. I will keep watch to make sure I receive that email or call them back again. They never showed anything on their page about automatically enrolling and being charged full amount after 14 days. However, if you click on the Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the page and scroll all the way down, its in there. Good way to hide it so people don’t see it if they aren’t looking.

    • Sharon

I was stupid and ordered NouVee Face Cream for the free 14 day trial at $6.59.
The package came today and there was actually a packing list inside that had the phone number.
      NOUVEE SKIN PRODUCTS # 1-833-270-7728.
They did answer the phone, just a couple of minutes wait. Cancelled me for future products and gave me a confirmation number. I didn’t have any trouble with them other than trying to talk me into some other product or a longer trial period. I just kept saying NO and insisted on the cancellation.

Was presented with an offer to pay shipping & handling of $5.95 for a CBD oil from HOLISTIC GREENS. However, the name of the company was changed on the credit card statement to VITAMIN C JOY DOMINO. My credit card fraud alert dept called me to tell me that $89.95 was just charged from Tampa, Florida, asking me if this was authorized. I told the rep I’ve never heard of this company, so they are reversing the charge. I called the phone number and the person began attempting to collect information from me. It turns out to be a SCAM with a claim that I agreed to a 14-day trial with future purchases. Absolutely not. The phone for these hosers is 866.996.4108. The rep read a well prepared script as I read about on this blog, thank you very much. Please alert others.

    hello,
same situation with a company called Rare Refinery Skin.
the samples were supposed to be free of charge and 15 days later i had a 149.00 charge on my credit card.
the number to call to try to cancel is 1 855 200 5505.
i spoke with customer service and after some discussion they say they will cancel for me and i am supposed to get a 75% refund. I am crossing my fingers.

  • Dawn

I was just scammed as well. Saw an ad on Facebook stating that all of the JCPenny’s were closing and were offering giveaways on their skin care products and all you had to do was pay for shipping. Just looked at my bank account and saw a charge for $90.76!!! And it was labeled under some phony Combatinfusedenertrial! I am so mad right now. Thankfully since the charge was still pending my bank is dealing with it. When I called the phone number that was next to the charge all it said when it answered was “Thank you for calling customer service. Please hold and someone will be with you shortly.” I’m so upset that I allowed myself to be scammed like this. Their bogus phone number is 866-452-8543.

  • Dawn

I didn’t realize that they were gong to send more after the free trial. No notification or anything. All of a sudden I receive this stuff in the mail. I call them and ask what the deal is and then they told me. Then I got the bill. Wholly buckets!! !What a rip off. It’s just cream for heavens sake. I called them back and was pissed. I wanted to send the whole deal back and they would not accept it. Tried to tell me that they would give me some money back. I told them I was going to turn them in to the BBB. We came to a agreement that they would give me half back. I still was not please but accepted it. I am still going to turn them into the BBB. I am just going to wait to see if they do the reimbursement. Bella Oasis – What a rip off and scam!!!!! All it is is frickin skin cream that probably costs pennies on the dollar.

    • Mary Boehm

Did the same thing off a fb ad for Bella oasis too . Just found out my Bill on my credit card. Now I got to call this afternoon when I get off to dispute those charges and all. Was supposed to go to a website ad cancel but I can’t remember the website for the life of me.

I am reporting scam activity. I ordered 2 samples in April 2020
, one Simple Touch and one Simply Wonder for which I paid the small fees. Their phone number on my bank debit was 1-844-690-4470. This was suppose to be a company that was endorsed by Megan Markle. I never received any correspondence from them , but I did receive the samples. Today my bank alerted me to some unusual activity using my debit card which I am very thankful for as it was a charge for $97.44 which I had not authorized. Payment fortunately was stopped and I was advised by the bank to cancel all activity with the company. The bank gave me a telephone number 1-833-732-0353 to call which was noted for the company debiting my account . The name of the company was Rose Brite Skin Cream. I called and when the agent answered he asked for my name and zip code. When I told him that I had not authorized any charges from them and immediately told me it would take some time to look up my account. I was on hold for nearly 20 minutes and he never returned. I will bet if I wanted to order something it would have been only a minute or two ! I went to my bank info for the two samples I received and found a different telephone number which is 1- 844-690- 4470. I decided to call them and ask if they were associated with Rose Brite Skin Cream and ask about the debit charges. He looked up my info in a matter of minutes and said that I received an email stating that the email I received explained that after 14 day trial period it would convert to a monthly subscription. I never received any correspondence from any company concerning this. I told him to cancel everything that he had pertaining to this skin cream. He was very persistent and tried to offer me all kinds of different things and discounts. Finally after a few minutes of continuously saying NO and telling him That I did not want anything do with their company and to cancel the subscription he kept making an attempt to talk me into another purchase. I was ver adement

Naomi is definitely a scam and I fell for it back in October 2018. Called 1-844-818-3708 and talked to a nasty rep who told me I just didn’t read the order form because it said you had 14 days to return. That was NOT on the order form. The skin cream and skin serum came from Fulfillment Center, 11661 East 46th Avenue, Suite #, Denver CO 80239. There are too many of these scam ads to keep up with. They use the same pictures and the same comments in the ads, just changing the name of the product. Dr. Phil called it “catfishing” and I think they even used his and Robin’s picture in one of the fake offers. If I recall correctly, they hired a lawyer but I don’t know what ever happened. My credit card company removed the charges and recommended that I cancel my credit card and let them issue a new one so no new charges could be placed. By the way, the supposedly “free” bottle of the cream was a tiny 1 oz. size and the serum had enough in it for one use.

I got scammed last week by BEAMCOSMETICS.NET. I Googled and emailed what I thought was the company, but the respoce was that they use .net and are completely different. My bank is working on it, but I got scammed again this week by a company I had never dealt with. Sometime in the last couple of weeks my credit card had been run through a reader that took all my info so that they had my address and phone number as well as the pin. How can you stop this fraudulent behaviour? Beamcosmetics.net – 647-490-7638

I got Scammed also, took the advice on the blog and so far so good..got them to cancel future orders and total refund of 93.80. I threaten them with filing a criminal complaint, assured them that the transaction was done with my credit card and the fraud unit already was disputing the charge, I also told them I would spread their name and phone numbers throughout social media exposing them….
They are called DermaJoie, and the charge appears as ENERGYW*BOOST AND ENERGYW*HEALTH…
    PHONE NUMBER ARE:
    833 333-6178/833-333-5761..
All we are trying to do is take care of ourselves and people out there take advantage of that..what a sin..good luck

I had stupidly ordered a free trial called Novabelle, SCAM! Can’t find a phone number and the one on my bank statement is no good so my bank submitted a fraud claim and canceled my card. They took $600 from me!! I don’t work anymore due to health issues and can’t afford to just lose that much money! Thanks for calling these thieves out on their scams! I’m going to report them to BBB and my states attorney general! Your doing great work keep up the good fight ?

    • Michelle

I fell for the same scam as everyone else. 866-600-1030. I called an was told the computer was updating, so I will be calling in the morning and I will be disputing the charges with my bank. It’s terrible that this kind of thing can happen. So much for trial sample. I am in Delaware by the way.

My mother saw a ad for a trial sample of a face serum and moisturizer. on Pinterest, there were flashing numbers this offer would only be good for ten minutes. She asked if she could borrow my credit card. Who would say no to their elderly mother. I got on the site and paid the 4.95 and 4.93 for shipping. there was no mention of fourteen day after there would be billing of 93.79 and 98.87.When the samples arrived they came in a plain brown wrapper no invoice or address to return it I she wanted to. The 93.79 was billed from one company and 98.87 from another company. I was billed in July this amount. and had no idea whom to contact . I was billed again this month August.. After trying every word combination on the web I found the company they said the trial price and billing was posted on the website which is true but its not posted on the Pinterest site. They said they would cancel the subscription. and the August order would be deduct at 30% since they had already sent it but I had not received yet. I said no to give me a return address to sent them back and have the 93.79 and 98.87 credit back to my card, and to send me a confirmation email that the subscription had been cancelled. Hopefully this is the end of this.

I’m not sure exactly which product you’re referring to but most “free trials” where you just pay shipping are scams. Always read the fine print in the terms and conditions.

Ordered Submitted on: Sep. 5, 2020
Orde Received on: Sep. 9, 2020
Called to cancell on : Sep. 17, 2020

On the same day I called to cancell (Sep. 17, 2020) they charged $102.56 to my account under the name: Tru Blossom. The phone number they used on my statement is: (844) 690-4470. They said that my trial was for 10 days. How convinient and how odd considering different customers have different length in days of trial. They said because of my “Unique” situation, they would refund me $40.00 in 3 to 5 bussiness days. Now that I know how they operate I will take other customer’s advice and call them back as well as sending an email and demand the rest of my money ($62.56).

Be aware that when you see a number on your bank statement for example: 08334080044 or 83340800440, try dropping the first number or the last number like onthis example, it would be the 0. They use this technique to get you confused using to many digits on their phone number so in turn you can not reach them.

I hope this information will help others in their fight against scammers and dishonest people working for these companies.

        Sincerely,
        CindyBon

The ad said 30 day free trial. I did not see anything about being charged ON the 15th day from the order. I did not receive the product until July 24th. I would, therefore, think I had 15 days from the time I received the product. Otherwise, there is no real chance to test out the product. When the bank tried for a 3-way call, the message was to call back during normal business hours. I also tried the number and the message said to call back during our normal business hours, but gave no indication of the hours.

The chart in your report listed the company, but not the phone number. The bank provided me with this number: (855) 538-4511.

Hi Danit, thanks for sharing that number. It’s hard to keep my list up to date because these scams changes names/numbers frequently. Usually it’s 14 days from the DAY you accept the free trial. Very few are actually 30 day trials, and in those cases it would be 30 days from the date you ordered. A nightmare indeed. Hope you get the help you need from your bank to cancel. Rachel

I keep seeing people using spammy ads on Facebook to sell it. If they are up front about costs and the membership, and not sold as a “free trial” then I wouldn’t say it’s a scam. There are many good memberships for skin care, as long as they are transparent. I haven’t tried it, I’d be curious to the ingredients to see if there are parabens, phthalates or fragrance. I see it as another celebrity (like Christie Brinkley) just using their name to sell their creams. There’s better out there. I love using my Beautycounter eye creams best and been using for about two years. Thanks for your question! xo Rachel

Also you have to be careful with this one. While she does seem to have her own (legit) skin care line. I’m sure all the scam companies are now going to use her picture to sell their “free trials” which are not Nicole Kidman’s products. Find her official website.

This just happened to me. First time I’ve been scammed I was so upset and the skincare joyellle derm was charged by some other name on my card I also noticed another charge today from another skincare place that I didn’t even sign up for…I live on ssdi and definitely can’t afford this stuff so needless to say I had to cancel my credit card and calling again tomorrow to dispute the charges..I wanted to know if you have the number to the BBB…Thank you for this site. I just wish I would of realized sooner that these are scams

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Hi Amy, so sorry you got scammed. Visit the BBB website here, you’ll see on their home page a box that says “File a complaint” I think that’s the best way. Good luck, and thanks for your comment. Rachel

Thank you for this article! I was scammed by Miracle Ritual 855-884-9028. They tried to offer me 30% back. Then 50%. Then 70%. Your article gave me the courage to insist on a full refund. They finally said they will refund me. We will see!

Make sure you tell them on the front end that you are asking for a refund and a cancellation. They tried to tell me that since my account is now closed, they could not get into it to refund me. But I held my ground and they relented.

    Thank you!

Check the list, or call your bank for the number of the company who just billed you the $4.95 for the shipping and handling of the “free trial.” It was offered as a free trial, then yes it’s a scam. Jump on it right away or they’ll bill you the full price (around $95) on the 12th or 14th day from the day you accepted it.

  • Kathy Tansor

I ordered a free sample of Immortelle recommended by Dr Oz, for $4.95 and 14 days later they tried to debit my bank account for $99.95. Luckily, my bank did not pay it and called me right away. The telephone number associated with this is: (833) 276-5273. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM… When I called they offered the same product to me for $23.95.

  • J R McGrath

Add Elemor Wrinkle Cream and Loreine Eye Cream to your list. 888-280-3267 is the number to cancel Elemore and they can transfer you to the rep to cancel Loreine.

Same story. “Free”. Pay for postage and handling which gives them your bank account. Small print says “free” isn’t free unless you cancel w/in 21 days, then you will be billed full amount for the “free” items, plus sent monthly refills.

    Costly lessons learned:

    1. Always use laptop computer rather than smartphone to order online. The larger screen give you a better chance to look for small print and unintended conditions or “agreements”.

    2. Always print off a verification copy of any order, either as .pdf onto computer or on paper, to prove what you’ve agreed to, either intentionally or otherwise.

    3. Carefully check bank statement monthly.

This was on Facebook. $4.95 like the others but here’s the thing. I was just looking on the site, filled everything out just to see what they offer. $89.95 a month is there auto fee. I closed the window down and they billed me! I have called with no ansewr 5 times for over 20 minutes on hold and I have emailed them 3 times with no answer. It is a shame Facebook allows these sites to be advertised

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Hi Sabina, you must have entered your credit card #….you can just enter your name and address, email on offers like these and get to the check out page and that’s where you’ll find the terms and conditions (you have to scroll down). So…if you’re curious about an offer, just NEVER enter your credit card info. I’m sorry they scammed you. Be sure and call before the 14 day “free trial” is up so you can cancel it. And make sure they send you a cancellation email so you have that for your records. Good luck!

  • JoLi Merck

I was scammed by RetinolMD and EuxelleMD through Facebook. They’re so good they have numerous websites with fake reviews. They’re in the Czech Republic, and probably learned their on-line tricks from Russians! Their phone numbers are 1.646.904.8329 (RetinolMD) and 1.646.904.8342 (EuxelleMD), but there’s no use in calling them–they’ll give you the run-around and hang up on your face. They’re particularly dedicated to preying on good-natured Canadians.

These are scam artists, predatory vendors who send you a “free sample” for the cost of shipping and handling and then charge you $400 for products you had no intention of buying. And worse: they then claim it’s your fault because you didn’t read the fine print and won’t give you an address to return the product.

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Joli, so sorry this happened to you…unfortunately I hear stories just like yours every single day. It’s so disheartening! You’d think something would have been done to protect consumers by now…it doesn’t help that so many of these scams are based out of foreign countries. Try disputing those charges with your bank at the very least. Some banks are more helpful than others, and will also side with these crooks since they post their terms and conditions (even though no-one sees them since they’re buried on their websites). Take care, Rachel

Is L’Ojesete a scam. I ordered face lifting serum and wrinkle freeze moisturizer. It showed up on my credit card statement as Bently. I ordered a free trial and paid for shipping and handling. Now I’m charged $104.85 plus another charge for $99.94. I didn’t sign up for a automatic subscription.

I was recently scammed by retinolmd, leuxelle, and retinolboost. The scammers used email saying exclusive offers for Costco members. I truly believed this was an offer from Costco. After I finished a survey, I was told that I could choose one of the rewards. After I chose two products, I was told that I only need to pay for the shipping fee. The important T&C was hidden somewhere, which I didn’t notice. I ended up paying $179.98 and $189.97 for the two products. My credit card company says it was my fault. They know very well about what these scammers have been doing, but they won’t do anything. The product is: RetinolMD day and night cream, Hyauronic eye serum. I dare not use any of them, because the scammers T&C says customers can return the product if they are not satisfied. Anybody has wondered where those returned products go? I suspect the scammers actually restock the used cream and resell them. Otherwise, why do they ask people to return the products? I suspect the trial product I got is from those used product. This is disgusting.

Scam from zforceeyeserum. Received free trial on March 20, then was charged 84.95. I called and told them I didn’t order anything and didn’t received anything. Spent an hour at the bank yesterday and my bank is siding with them. Don’t know what to do.

Call your bank for the number if it’s not on my list. Sorry, it’s almost impossible to keep up with all the new scams coming out. Your bank will have the number for the company who is billing you, it’s likely under another name altogether, not the cream name.

  • Christa Inniss

I received an email from…[email protected] [email protected] via sendgrid.net when I cancelled my order from them. They charged my account a total of $174 on April 22,2019 before my trial ended. I could not find there phone number on your list. 888-624-6556. they denied my refund when my bank called. What should I to do now?

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Christa, they usually bill on the 12th or 14th day, depending on how long their trial period was. So 14 days from when you accept the offer (not when you receive it). Are you sure your trial hadn’t ended yet? You should have a record of the date they charged you the shipping and handling $4.95, and then a subsequent charge either 12 or 14 days later. If they charged you after 10 days or whatever (before the trial ended), you should have legal grounds to dispute this with your bank. You’ll have to find their terms and conditions and show your bank that they charged you early, if that’s the case. Good luck! Rachel

Duo Lingo add for a SHARK TANK PRODUCTS BELLA PELLE. 437-370-1642 Same thing – sample for shipping only and day 14 charge credit card ridiculous $89 and $99 for each “free” trial sample! I like one of the products and looked online for the company to see how much it would be to order one of the products, but what came up was another “free” trial/SAMPLE for another company under the same web site called PURELY VIBRANT. Again it was for shipping charges only. Like a dumby I ordered that “free” sample too. The terms and conditions are not obvious that you will be getting a monthly prescription with outrages charges for the products.. there is no free sample! There is no cost of the products either.

Purely Vibrant charged my Visa two days after the 14 days and it came up as a FRAUD alert as SAFEYESERUM.COM – I called my bank and they gave me the number to call as 844-682-5027 to resolve. I was able to cancel but no refund. I asked to speak to supervisor because I’m not getting scammed by these people and they sent me to a supervisor at 855-217-0284. After much arguing with a foreigner, she finally gave me the refund. This is nonsense and we must not let it continue! Thanks.

MARIE BLANC!! No notice from company that this was a trial and you need to cancel within 14 days that was going on AUTOSHIP! And this is their explanation??? They don’t even have the right Product name in their “Copied email reply” Pathetic….Lesson learned…and for all you others…Thank you for contacting us regarding your concern.

Let me introduce you first to our company and explain our deals and offers, so you can have a clearer picture about us.

We provide a service, in which we ship our product directly to the customer’s home on a monthly basis so he can enjoy from our high quality product without the hassle of going out to purchase it. We do know that a monthly subscription requires a commitment to a product that can’t be obtained at a store, therefore our way to introduce the product to the customer is to let him try before he commits to the monthly subscription-this is done through our trial offer. That’s how confident we are about our product.

Our trial offer is a way to get the full 30-day supply of Bella Pelle Wrinkle Control and Ultimate Moisture, you’ll pay only $4.95 and $3.95 upfront for the shipping and be able to take advantage of the product for free during 14 days. After the trial expires, if you didn’t contact to notify you wouldn’t like to continue, you will be charged the full amount of the product (as you already have the full monthly supply) and will be shipped another bottle afterwards. A trial in general is a way to let the customer try the product so he is sure about the purchase, and it’s not a way to handle out free products. Moreover this information is clearly stated at the first paragraph of the terms and conditions you agreed to.

Any customers who chose to continue with the program, on the 15th day, you will be charged for the full cost of the initial bottles and every 30 days thereafter, be shipped another bottle of each product ordered for the same regular price. The prices are as follows:

Wrinkle Control – $99.95 USD ( you are charged for the full cost of this product when you exceeded the 14 day trial period)
-Our formula helps diminish wrinkles, fine line and other signs of premature aging in 3 minutes or less. This unique formula contains whole collagen molecules, advanced peptides and powerful antioxidants to restore skin’s vibrancy and enhance smoothness and vitality.

Directions: Shake well. Squeeze a small amount of product onto fingertips – lightly pat on wrinkles and fine lines. To avoid residue and streaking do not over apply. Product will begin drying naturally within 1 to 2 minutes. Keep facial muscles relaxed, and remain expressionless for 3 to 4 minutes, powder and other makeup may be applied delicately. Product may be reapplied throughout the day or evening.

Ultimate Moisture – $89.95 USD ( you are charged for the full cost of this product when you exceeded the 14 day trial period)
-Regular moisturization is the secret to having a young, healthy and radiant skin. It provides the skin with a natural barrier to fight dryness, prevents aging, and combats environmental stresors: sun, pollution, dust. Moisturizing creams are among the top most important skincare products you should never miss in your beauty regimen. A few drops of a moisturizer every day will save you the embarrassment of dealing with a dry and dull skin.

Directions: Always wash your face before applying the moisturizer. Apply the cream on clean, dry skin and massage till completely absorbed. Use twice per day, in the morning and before you go to bed. Always wait for about 1-2 minutes before you apply makeup to give the cream the time to absorb completely.

We have cancelled your subscription. Rest assured that you will not be shipped anymore of our products. Cancellation applies for future shipments only. Products have been shipped and shipping fee are nonrefundable.

Important Note: WE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT ANY RETURNS OR PROVIDE ANY REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS MADE AFTER 14 DAYS UPON PLACING THE ORDER FOR THE TRIAL OFFER.

    Thank you,
    Customer Service

I paid the $4.95 shipping and handling. Did not see the 14 day trial and was charged $98.27. It was also under a different name. Called the first time and she said it was my fault. Called again and the boy said they were just a third party. He gave me miracle rituals number. I talked to a woman with a thick accent. I told her I had just read emails from a lot of people that have been scammed. So, if all these people didn’t see the T&C then they must not be there are or very tiny. Agreed to a 30% refund and cancellation. Went to the bank and she called them. If I hadn’t agreed to the 30% refund she could have gotten me all of it.

I am currently being what I consider, scammed by DERMASET in Hollywood Florida. They claim I ordered their product, a face cream (on a date I was out of state), charged me $4.95 s&h, then a charge for $179.00. Having no idea what the $4.95 charge was, I disputed it immediately with the credit card company. Then, a package delivery! I had no idea that what I received in the mail was something from them, so I opened the package but did not open the product and returned it after talking to them wherein they emailed me the address to return it. I also disputed the subsequent charges they have been making to my credit card for $179.00. I have now been emailed by them that once I dispute a charge, I can no longer return the item as they will not accept it and they will be turning this over to collections. I dont know what my rights are and if anyone has had this experience, please advise.

I ordered a trial of Derma Joie ageless Retinol Cream for $4.95 and Derma Joie Retinol Eye Serum for 5.96. I did the order by phone for the TRIAL, and the woman did not mention anything about recurring shipments for these products or any info about cancelling. I have now been charged $93.80. When I called about the new charge, I was told I must have checked the box about a recurring shipment. As I challenged this assertion, I was told that once the order is processed “all terms and conditions” have been met. Finally they did cancel the account, & I got a confirmation email for that. They initially said they would refund $40. My husband called them back and threatened legal action. The person he talked to at the end said there was a $93.80 credit on the account. He asked for a confirmation … she said it would take 24-48 hrs to process, and then we’d get a confirmation by email. We’ll see.

OK. if you just HAVE to order something you are not sure about, DON’T USE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. Get your credit card bank to issue you a temporary, VIRTUAL CREDIT CARD NUMBER. This is a credit card number that, on the surface, has nothing to do with your regular credit card, but it is TIED to your regular credit card.

It is a long credit card number, just like your real one.
It has an expiration date, just like your real one.
It has a ‘security code’, just like your real one.
It expires after a short time (varies by bank)
It has a $$$ limit that YOU set.

EXAMPLE: Magazines. They send me an offer for a GREAT price on a subscription for a year, but when that subscription runs out, they AUTO-RENEW the subscription at what is usually a much higher price. When I subscribe, I use a virtual account number. I set the $$$ limit at a few dollars more than the subscription price, and I set the EXPIRE DATE to the shortest time my bank will allow. When my subscription comes up next year they cannot renew it because the virtual number has expired, AND they can’t charge anything else to the card number anyway because the $$$ limit I set up has already been (mostly) reached since I set the $$$ limit to just a bit more than the original subscription price. When they can’t automatically renew the magazine they will usually send you another offer for a ‘reduced price’ subscription, which I accept – using a new virtual number, of course.

This should work the same if you are ordering from a company you are “not sure of”. They will send you a trial sample for $2 shipping, but they can’t turn around and charge your account $$$ more because of the dollar amount you set and the expiration date you set.

PROBLEMS: The crooks are getting smarter:
Sometimes the card number will show up as a ‘prepaid’ card, which some companies do not accept.
Sometimes the company you are trying to buy from will not accept a card that expires soon.

I have used a VIRTUAL MASTER CARD NUMBER many times with no problems at all. Get the details about this from the bank where you got your credit card. (I can generate a virtual account MasterCard number in about 30 seconds at my bank’s website.) If they don’t offer virtual account numbers, or you can’t set the $ amount or expiration date the way you want, look for another bank.

    GOOD LUCK!!

I signed up to try a “free” trial off of an internet offer. I looked it over a couple of times to try to be sure there were not any ongoing orders that I did not ask for. I didn’t see anywhere that future orders would be coming. I even had my husband look as well. I received the product called Derma Jolie, sadly the product actually seemed to work. So, I called their “customer service” number to see if I could get a “free trial” offer for my sister, and was told I would be receiving monthly orders of the product monthly for $99. I blew my stack. Said I specifically looked for this little scam and didn’t see it. Told her to cancel the order ASAP or I was contacting the Attorney General for the State of Minnesota immediately. She says she cancelled it and gave me a number to put on the outside of the box when I received the email showing that the order has been cancelled. I will be sending it back immediately, less what has been used from it. Hard to believe there is nothing we can do to stop these sneaky thieves from doing this. I think there should be a law that says they should have to have it in large bold writing that there are recurring orders involved with the free offer. Now I don’t even know if I want to buy it off of Amazon…is it just junk?
Here is the number I called only to find out about the recurring orders…
1-888-346-6271. Thanks for trying to help.

I fell for the product Marie Blanc Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Eye Serum. Fortunately, my credit card refused the charge for the product. I love Capital Cards! Anyway, I couldn’t find them on the net but their number and email address was on the bottle. Since you don’t have this one on your list I’m providing it for you here.

Judy. I just got scammed by Marie BLANC wrinkle reducer and intense eye gel. That number you have 4373701104 is Verizon when I call it. And any other number I get a recording wanting me to order more product. I have contacted my cc and they are disputing it but I was told I have to cancel or it will be charged to my cc at a tune of 200.00 a month. I am just sick. Can someone help me?

Angeletta Skin 1-877-694-1843 Scammers took money without permission. didn’t even order from them and didn’t receive anything from them but they took money from my checking account. they are not even listed with BBB.

    • Monroe Heart

Same thing happened to me! I They charged my card $88.89 and $86.99 for creams I did not authorize them to charge my card for! it is a scam! I called my bank and put a stop payment and called them at (800) 425-1156 and when I told them I had NOT authorized them to charge my card and had reported them the guy on the phone hung up on me.
This is outrageous how without my consent they charged my card under reoccurring payment!

      • Damie

Angeletta took my money as well.. I ordered a free trial 14th May 2019 and was debited immediately.. 4 days ago I was going through my account and noticed 2 unsolicited debits of lose to 200dollars n my account.. How do I cancel this subscription and request for a refund.. Is this possible? Any number I can call..

    • Julie

I had the same experience. When I called a few months ago to let them know, I never ordered that they said I had subscribed to it by ordering the free trial. They wanted to give me 30% off then 50% off. When I told them you don’t understand, I didn’t even open the product because it was advertised as organic and when I looked at the ingredients, there were no organic ingredients whatsoever. This is false advertising. They finally gave in and said they would cancel all subscriptions and give me a full refund. Months later, I realized, the whole time they were charging me $19.93 for a subscription for a free ebook that I never knew was sent to me and had never been opened. FYI, this product for the free trial was on Facebook!

Same as everyone else. Fell for the $6.95 shipping and auto enrolled into an $89.98 wrinkle cream.
The phone number is 1-888-481-3763. The charges were listed under SMG Skin Cream. I called and they tried to offer the 1st, the 2nd, the 3rd discount. They sent me an email confirmation of my subscription cancellation while I was on the phone. I was about to tell the rep how nice she was but she had already hung up. I tried.
Thank you for helping us with our ever tireless search for youth and beauty. We should all really know by now…shouldn’t we??

      Another scam
Marie Blanc wrinkle remover together with Marie Blanc eye gel.
Same procedure as the others…nasty promotions
If caught as I was … cancel credit card to prevent further outgoings and there’s little likelihood of a refund. Phone the company. 725-605-8228 and 725-696-6388
Press O for rep when you get to options. Get a reference re cancellation of “subscription” ( that you ever knew you had) and have it emailed to you. No wonder people are getting rich on this method of selling..so NOT transparent.

  • SFS

Bella Radiance got me. As soon as the second TWO boxes came in the mail I called the number on the packing slip (mind you NO INVOICE OR RECEIPT for the UNAUTHORIZED charges) and talked to a young lady who was very abrasive and defensive and claimed that it PLAINLY states all over their website, on the agreement, everywhere that I was agreeing to a monthly shipment charge and subscription. I argued that it did NOT and on and on we went until I requested a supervisor. She put me on hold, came back and said her supervisor offered 50% refund. I said NO, I didn’t authorize this, I want the full amount, or I will be hitting up the BBB, my credit card company for a dispute and every scam website message board I can find. Again she put me on hold, came back with 75%, I said NO!!! Its all or I report you! She came back a third time from putting me on hold to say they agree to refund all of it! BOTH shipments $98 a piece! Fast forward to today, when I check my statement, they only refunded one. I called again, got a gentleman, laid into him about this, and he said that it SHOULD have processed BOTH refunds. For some reason it only processed one. So he put it in motion to process the second one again. Should have it within 3 days. We’ll see and I’ll report back if I got it.

    Here’s the number I called: 888-528-4117

Good luck folks! This is blatant misleading advertising.

PLEASE let your readers know that any advertisement for face/eye cream that does not indicate the manufacture’s name and the product’s price boldly on the face of the ad should be avoided. There is a reason for these omissions. Also, any reference to “terms, conditions or agreements” is also a huge red flag.

  • Anjum Mujeeb

AURA Revive they offered me free introductory offer. There is no ph no to call and cancel before 14 days. I just got scammed by Angeletta and they charged me $19.88 then $18.88 for eye serum. ph no. 877-886-5052. Be aware ladies. Angeletta and Aura Revive !!

Suzanne, if it’s not on my list, call your bank and ask for the number of the company who is billing you, it’s probably a different name, looks for those s&h charges of $4.95 or the full amount if it’s past the 14 day trial and you’ve been whacked already. Good luck! Rachel

Disputed the $80 plus initial charges for both skin and eye creams to Citi Bank as well as the second set of $90 plus charges and just found out recently that Citi had determined these to be legit.
Sad day for our country and its people that these sort of scams are allowed to exist and profit.

    • SFS

Lee, they got me too. I just set a dispute in motion with Citi too. But I also called the scoundrels.

Ambrosina charged me two shipping fees of $5.04 and $5.02. They sent the face and eye cream and Then charged my account about 3 weeks later two times, $92. No more products were sent out to me. The charges showed up as SW Health. The Ambrosina company address is in Orlando, Florida and shows a phone number on the product of: 855-984-9720 and email address of [email protected]. Outrageous! Can’t believe I fell for it!
I called to demand refund of over $180 for a sample of the face cream and of the eye cream. They said I was past the 14-day trial period, which was NOT included in the ad. I kept demanding, and she would respond with offers of a discount…first 30% off, then 50% off, then 75% off! I stayed with it, demanding FULL REFUND, and if not, that I would report the company to Better Business Bureau AND the Attorney General in my state. She eventually caved and gave me a case number for the full refund. She said to call back if not received within 10 days. Here’s crossing my fingers that it comes through! And, I AM going to report them to the BBB and State Atty General anyway.

    • Dr E

Just called about Celine antibaging moisterizer. Got one and then was shipped another – no order confirmation in my email. Thankfully they had a number in the shipping bag. Super shady conversation but was able to cancel. 800-670-0564

  • Philip

My wife ordered Jubile’s “sample” then we started getting charged each month for two separate products. She e-mailed to cancel, only to have them offer a discount and say that if we still wanted to cancel, to get back to them. So she got back to them, only to have them say that they couldn’t cancel by e-mail, and we’d have to call them on their “toll-free” number (which is not toll-free from Australia, of course). The real problem then was that the number they listed in their e-mail was not connected!

Thanks to comments on this page, we got the correct number (1-438-228-0170, as others have mentioned), and called them to cancel. They wanted to know why we wanted to cancel, and tried to offer a much bigger discount, but we said no, we definitely wanted to cancel, and they accepted that without any further mucking around.

We got confirming e-mails immediately, so hopefully that’s the end of it.

My wife says that it wasn’t clear that it would keep coming, and that she’s learned a valuable lesson.

I just got involved in a skin care product scam. Kathy Lee skin Care Products. $ 4.95 for a free trial of Elliesse Eye Serum and $ 5.95 Firm Youthful Skin Cream 30 day supply Total $10.90. I gave them my cc info and then realized this is too good to be true and looked it up online and sure enough this is a scam. Kathie Lee’s name and face have been used with this product and it is a Scam. After the 17 day free trial they charge your account repeatedly $80.00. My bank called me within 5 minutes of this transaction on a Sunday morning and it was the Fraud and scam department. They were onto it before I was. AMAZING. I called the phone # associated with the pending charges . # 888-550-6908 NVUS (this is nevada) and also # 888-561-8820. I called cc Monday morning and cancelled and issued me a new card and they have a Fraud investigation going . I called the # again Monday morning and got through this time. They did not identify themselves. Asked for my name and zipcode and mailing address. I asked for a refund and that they cancel the subscription. They said I must wait until the trial 17 days are done and call and cancel the subscription. I did not take NO for an answer. they were very resistant. 3 times I said refund my money and cancel the subscription. There is a Fraud investigation as we speak. She immediately said ok and said it will take 7 to 10 days to see the refund issued. And she hung up on me.

Good on your bank – which bank do you use? I feel like most banks are NOT this helpful so sometimes I tell people they should look for a new bank… Wells Fargo is good about fraud. I got a “free” offer from Amazon, all i had to pay was 3.95 no contract was available to click on to accept, so was very surprised to find out id been charged $550.00 to my credit card for eye & face cream, i was shocked pissed off, angry. Thank god there was a num provided and i was able to cancel further shipments but i was only able to get 200.00 back out of the 550.00 they took from me. Also the cost of 96.00 went up to 140.00 for face cream and eye serum was 115.00 jumped to 159.00 . They said cause it was adjusted to canadian $$$. I just can’t believe this happened to me, im not able to pay this im on fixed income. I feel so ripped off, stupid, ill never fall for this again. This is sad for a lot of reasons , so many of us fall for this. The money that was taken from me could have went to way more important things i need then face cream. The fact that it came as an amazon offer a trusted site i use all the time, that’s how well vailed they are, i can’t stress enough, don’t click on anything that says “FREE OFFER”.. 1-888-280-3354

Google will take money for any ads, I’ve seen these on Home Depot and even heard of them being seen on Bank websites (google ads). Just have to avoid these damn ads altogether. So sorry you got scammed for all that money. Glad you got some back at least, but still, such a waste for crap creams!! Thanks for sharing this info. Rachel

I have another number to add to your list. Azure Derma and their phone numbers are 844-716-9886 & 844-789-6650. I immediately cancelled when I found out at the end of the order that I would be on automatic ship. This month I was charged $84.97 & $89.94 and I cancelled it the day I ordered it. Buyer beware, they kept hanging up on me and when I told them I reported it to my bank as a fraudulent charge, they refused to speak to me!!

      Same story in different packaging.

I canceled an hour after ordering, and even that was a headache. Their final volley (after many exhausting no’s) was a whopping 75% off. Another red flag for quality of the product.

Thank you to everyone who shared their stories and saved me from what might have been a nightmare. I found and read the “terms of agreement” from their site after seeing all of this, and it’s exactly the same as what everyone had mentioned, just rebranded.

Reader asked for phone number to Derma Joie scammers. I used the one on the card that came with the shipment: (888) 346-6271.
Same rigmarole experienced by others. Offers of 40-70% discounts on further shipments.
Successfully cancelled and ALSO given 75% refund on the $93.80 charged to my credit card.
THANKS to the suggestions on this page, encouraging suckers to be firm. I didn’t have to be transferred to supervisor. Probably same phone rep putting you on brief hold and changing seats and coming back pretending to be supervisor anyway… I digress.
Told them I will proceed to call State Attorney’s office, and BBB, and she then offered to refund 75%. At that point, I relented and said okay, give me confirmation number… Now I’ll wait and see if they will keep their word. After all I have nothing in writing except for a bogus employee name and ID number and confirmation of cancellation code, as well as confirmation of refund code.
Good luck everyone. Let’s not be the proverbial sucker born every minute!!
Can’t believe I became one myself. Thanks for this blog site.

AURA FACE CREAM HAS A NUMBER ON THEIR JAR OF 844-871-4676 for customer service.
I had to call to cancel, I am very allergic to many face products and this was one of them, it had no fragrance, so that was a plus, and aside from water, the main ingredient is Sweet Almond Oil.

Saw that Judge Judy had a face cream company and it had star testimonials, so I ordered it. What popped up was an a trial of the face cream for the shipping and handling, which was $5.96. I expected a small trial, enough for one or two days. I got a small nice bottle and a eye serum. A week later I look on my Chase Online account, and see two charges in the amount of $93.80 and $92.85. Tried calling the number on my account, busy signal. Tried the website address, permanently moved. Called Chase bank, they set up a dispute case and said they would have someone from the investigative department contact. In the interim, they would reimburse my charges. The company name on my Chase account is MAXYOUTHSERUM.COM. The name of the product I wanted and received is Derma Joie, owned by Judge Judy. I don’t know why they allow this scam company to exist. Derma Joie will accepts returns only if you order from their website.

Cammie, thanks so much for sharing. It’s not really owned by Judge Judy, they just use her name as part of the scam to sell their bogus creams. Unbelievable how SO many companies are still getting away with this. I’ve been writing about these scams for YEARS and they’re just not going anywhere. UGH! Thanks, Rachel

  • Callie

I got scammed by Jubilé Skin Products, which was supposedly developed by Angelina Jolie, and for which I supposedly only had to pay $4.95 S&H. The info re: 2-week trial period was supposedly inside the box, but not clearly stated. Two weeks after I ordered the sample, I was charged C$115 and C$118 (there were two different products).

I was able to contact the company and cancel my subscription, but they claimed that since I had missed the trial window and canceled my account, they were unable to refund me.

    The number is +14382280170

I’m also a victim of the “scam” artists. I ordered a “sample of Bestsmooth & Dermaeyecare.
They were advertising the cream and eye serum by a picture of Joanna Gaines. Silly me I thought I could trust these people. I ordered a sample of each costing $4.97 & $4.94. Samples arrived shortly afterwards, as well as two charges $84.97 & 89.94. Someone from my bank called to tell me about theses charges. I called the numbers and after talking with “one” on & off several days, they can’t find my account, then it is the “wrong company”. Since they have charged again, this time $94.88 & $94.88. I have filed a dispute with the credit card people. I’m looking into contacting the BBB. I’m glad I found this website. Ladies beware of these people. The package I received had a return address of Fulfillment Center, P.O. Box 61553, Savannah, Ga. 31419. Hope this helps someone.

Thought this was free trial and ended up with $89 charge on my credit card. I saw shipping charge for the samples which I was OK with. Got them to agree to cancel the future charges and had to file fraud charges to get out of the $89.

  • Dianne

Is Lavette facelift skin cream on your list ? The number I called to cancel is 866-781-0273, she said she canceled any further activities. I was scammed bc I didn’t read the term of the agreement.

  • Karen Zakhi

No question, just a comment. Yes I was scammed, & $95.00 later. Called # off bank statement, they won’t even say what country they are in, just offshore. It took 40 minutes on phone with them, hopefully will get my money back. Also Meagan Markle has a cream out, & for only $5.95 for shipping, you can try it. Sure it’s a scam, too!!!

    • Cherie Nelson

I just found I was charged 90.00 for Ambrosina. Thanks so much to this website for the number because I had no idea how to get my money back. Called them and threatened them with BBB and attorney general and they said since not returned in 14 days they could only refund 60.00 I said fine but I’m still calling them then. Next thing I know they returned all of it and tried to talk to me again and I just hung up on them.

      Thanks again so much!!!

      • Melanie Watson

I bought the AMBROSINA product… (Ellen Degeneres supposedly markets it….UGH..I was so scammed) And I got my cream and eye serum…….but I just looked at my checking acct. and I have been charged $89.00 twice!!!!!!!!! I cannot find a number for them anywhere. My checking acct. statement says it was LJL HEALTHPRODUCTS that billed me. Can anyone get me the number to call them? I cannot find it anywhere…..So much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered the trial size Derma Joie. There is no mention of it needing to be canceled or about a recurring charge. It is only said that you pay shipping and handling of $7.95. Today a charge of $92.xx showed up in my account from KSHAIRBRIGHT.COM. after much research I found the number. I have contacted and got it cancelled with not much trouble after they offered several levels of discounts to continue. The refund, however was another story!!! First offer was 40% refund, then 45%, then he jumped to 75% refund and I was adamant that I would not accept anything less than 100% refund as it was unauthorized and I would be seeking a legal recourse as well as having it reversed by my bank. He put me on hold and then came back with the 100% return of my funds. I asked for email confirmation and how long would it take for the funds to be returned. I will update once the monies are returned.

Shows on bank statement as: KSHAIRBRIGHT.com which is a hair care supplement.

contact info is 855-212-7315 or email us at [email protected].

I recently purchased a trial of Aura Revive Age Defying Moisture Cream. It was $4.95 for shipping of a trial 1oz size jar. It claimed to be Shark Tank approved. I just today got an alert on my credit card for $93.89. Called the Credit Card Company. They gave me the number and put a block on this company. I called before I read this article. shame on me!! They kept negotiating the refund. I cannot even find out who manufactures this product. Needless to say, I have learned my lesson!!
Thank you for providing this service to all us suckers out here!!!

  • Anna Lisa

I have a phone number for Made Pure-541-858-7328
It is also listed as Kabel Skin cream, and yes, it’s a total scam. These bottom feeders actually went a step further and called it a free “sample”, not “trial” which made me think I was safe. Yep, feeling like a fool. I read ALL of the fine print I could find on the website and NOTHING indicated to me that I was on the hook for an un-authorized payment of $89.95 That showed up on my visa four days after I received a one ounce sample. This charge was not for more cream they were planning to send me, it was $89.95 for the one ounce of shit cream that has already arrived! Please let me know if there are other ways to report this company as a scam if you know of any, I was able to get a partial refund that could not even be fully processed because the payment was still pending, which they could have stopped but of course did not!
There is a special place in hell for these unscrupulous individuals.

Muriel, if it’s not on my list just call your bank and ask for the company who is billing you – probably under a different company name altogether! xo Rachel

  • SILVIA A BORGES

BEWARE ! ! ! I received the product WITHOUT any further instructions and later I got a $99.99 bill in my account from a company named FACECREAMSONATA.COM One of the supervisors (Tricia) told me “it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on our website and we won’t refund you”.
I tried to argue with her that it was a free TRIAL and I am expecting them to contact me again to see if I liked the first product before making any offers. I have no receipt, no invoice, not even an email confirming their terms and conditions. The product didn’t do anything for me, I gave it to a friend with oily skin, she returned it to me. I can send it back, but they won’t accept a return after 14 days, their rule.
By the way, these terms are listed under a very light GREY COLOR on the bottom of their website, and you would have to scroll down to even see that last line.
Strongly suggest reading their terms and conditions so you don’t get hit EVERY MONTH with close to $100 bill in your account. I don’t recommend either the product or the company.
… I got here under the good and upright name I have thought Celine Dion had…

you can add Retinolrecover.com products to your list, they just scammed me for 179.97 after filling out a survey to get a free product and only pay for shipping, I will be cancelling that credit card on Monday to avoid future charges, I was automatically enrolled in a program that would ship me a 129.00 bottle of cream every month, this is there contact information, please contact us by email at [email protected], or call us at +1-646-904-8949 (U.S. and Canada) or +44-20-3150-3369 (U.K. and EU)..

I just cancelled the order I did not even know I had made. I called 1-888-346-6271. The product was Derma Joie retinol ageless cream. I guess I’ll see if it actually cancelled next month though I did receive a confirmation number. Please feel free to contact me and add this number to your list and thank you. I was not even aware I ordered this! Don’t buy when you’re tired.

    • Angie

I am trying to cancel the Derma Joie that my daughter ordered without permission. I keep calling the 1-888-346-6241 number, but continue to get a busy tone. Do you have another number or advice on how to get through? Thank you!

      • TFussy

Just keep calling until you get thru! There’s just that many poor unfortunate souls in the same situation!
Once you get thru be very insistent!
        I got a 100% refund.
        Good luck.

      • M Wong

The number that worked for me (will wonders never cease) was
        (888) 346-6271
You seem to be off by one digit
The number was on the card that came with the shipment. I don’t know if it’s the same source as where you got yours.
        But good luck!

  • Adele K. Raines

One word of advice. When you do become successful at stopping this scam against you and your finances, get a form from your bank and fill it out immediately. It is to put a “STOP PAYMENT” against the company from attempting to collect any future monies directly from your account. Also if you charged this “freebie” to a credit card, notify them immediately that this was an illegal charge against your account.

When you phone your bank or credit card company, ask for the Fraud Department.

  • Adele K. Raines

I sent Rerevive an email after spending a couple of days attempting to call them. Their line was busy, busy, busy.

In the email I told them I wanted them to cancel my order immediately and I wanted a full refund. If they failed to honor my request within ten days, I would be sending a registered letter to my State’s Attorney General to start a class action suit against them.

Lo and behold! The next day I received a phone call from them. Now I have to admit, I got carried away and told them a horrible fib. “I just received my death sentence. I have incurable lung sentence. I would like to see this resolved prior to my death.” I even allowed my voice to slightly break. I am sure that considering that I did this for all of us who have been scammed, God would turn away this once.

Within 36 hours, I found all my monies back in my bank account and got another phone call. Was I satisfied with the end results of their actions? “Yes.” And then I allowed some crocodile tears with the broken voice to go over the wires with a “thank you.”

Case solved and one happy formerly scammed customer.

    • Letitia

      Adele Raines,

Good for you and don’t feel the least bit guilty. If they were legit they would have honored your request right away. I fell for the same scam, different company. The first time I called to cancel subscription they kept insisting I didn’t have one then she started yelling at me. Then she hung up on me. I called again and sometimes me else answered, but the funny thing was when I called an automated system answered saying “hello Letitia, hope you are enjoying your cream, please wait momentarily and someone will be right with you. A lady came on the phone and I again said I wanted to cancel the subscription I didn’t know I was signing up,for. She said hold on let me look up your info. She then said she was sorry but I don’t have a subscription and that my name isn’t even in their system. I asked to explain and she said they have no record of me so she can’t cancel becuase I’m not even in the system. I argued and she then asked for my credit card number that I used. I asked why and she said it’s another way she could look for my information. I said no way and as a matte of fact when I called the recording called me by my name. She said a few choice words and hung up on me. I called again and got another person and I did and said everything everyone recommended. Finally I broke into tears (easy enough to fake over the phone) and basically begged her to help me. That my husband and I have been fighting over money and this will be the last straw and terrified he would divorce me because we Just lost our house via foreclosure and flat broke. Then all f a sudden she found my info and like everyone else tried to give me discounts etc and on and on. She finally said she was sorry about my situation and will cancel the subscription and sent me an email stating so as well. So one of my advice as Rachel keeps saying is don’t give up and keep calling. You will never get the same person answering the phone. And if you have to work on their sympathy and make up a story. Whatever it takes. It’s not a bad thing to do considering they are trying to rob you. Good luck everyone.

Thanks Letitia! They are total scammers so you have to talk to them like the scumbags they are and REALLY get tough! These are people trained to be combative with their responses…I’ve had former employees from these companies email me and commend me on my article, LOL. They agree just to be tough and don’t take no for an answer, demand to speak to a supervisor, etc. Eventually they have to give in, it’s just a matter of who battles harder. Thanks for your comment!! xo Rachel

I do not see Derma Viva on the list. I also have been scammed, and received no e mail confirmation. So therefore I am at a loss as how to Contact the supplier. My Bank are not prepared to give me information. They advised me to try to e mail the supplier, but this impossible, as I have no information to go on.
I have put STOP on my account at the Bank, but it remains to be seen if this has been successful.

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Ann, your bank should be able to give you the phone number of the company billing you, whomever charged you the $4.95 shipping and handling fee or any subsequent Billings. If they can’t even provide you a good working number, then that should be enough information for them to block this vendor. If not, then you need to find another bank because they suck! Good luck, Rachel

  • Nan

I think there is another one to add to your list of scammers. Is Dermis Anti-aging a scam? Phone # 855 414 9792. This was on Facebook posing as Meghan Markle creams with you only paying for shipping.

  • Alex

Anyone have email for Azur Derma the were advertising free trial they charged me 4.97 onceand 4.87 second time and after 11 days they charged 89.94 +84.97 total of 174.91 please someone can help me to get their number how to get my money back.

  • Adele K. Raines

I was unable to reach REReviving Eye Cream by phone. Busy, busy, busy. So I sent an Email and stated that if they failed to cancel my order, I would contact the Attorney General of the Commonwealth and report the company for major fraud. Within 24 hours I had an Email stating that my account had been cancelled and that I would be receiving a partial refund.

Sure enough. The money is in my bank account and my bank statement shows no new charges to my account. All is well, that ends well.

Close one: Angelina Jolie Unauthorized Revyve Scam

After placing my order for the “Free Trial”, I received a confirmation email. This email contained the actual “terms and conditions” that bind you to the scam.
I read that after the free trial period I would be charged $96.90 per month. The 14 day trial begins when the order is placed, not received.
Another thing is that the initial ad was using Angenlina Jolie as the founder, and a story about how she wouldn’t allow Brad any part of the company… Etc. Angelina is in no way connected to
“Revyve Skin Advanced Ageless Cream”. That said, I immediately called them to cancel the free trial. Not without some effort on my part to stick to cancellation, the girl finally gave up and said she would refund the $6.95 and send a confirmation of my cancellation.
This she did, and I received 2 emails with confirmation.
The phone number not on the list in this site for “Revyve Skin Advanced Ageless Cream” is:
    1-844-REVYVE1
    ‭1 (844) 738-9831‬
Mind you, I will keep a vigilant eye on my account to be sure they did not slip through a litigious crack in the mumbo jumbo.
    I hope this helps someone.

Debnes, thanks for your comment, it sounds like you did everything right to stick to your guns to cancel this trial. Getting an email confirmation is crucial. A lot of times they’ll tell you on the phone it’s cancelled but don’t send that, and then they bill you again. At least you have this should they charge you again, you’ll have something to show your bank to file a fraud dispute. Have a great day! Rachel

      • Debnes

        Thanks Rachel-
The terms and conditions were extremely lengthy. I think they are counting on people not to read everything they are signing up for. The agent asked me why i would cancel before receiving and trying the product. I told her that i don’t want to do business with any company with such deceptive practices.
So ladies- Always read everything as soon as you can get your eyes on it, and stick to your guns. Their job is to keep you in their clutches until they can successfully bind and drain your wallet.
In other words, rob you with your own consent.

I fell for this scam .. hi ordered one and then it showed the other to order for a small amount I pd I believe approx $9.00 for both it did not say I was going into a agreement so I never thought anything if it and I get a pkg in the mail another came and another .. I checked my direct express card which my SSI Benifits goes on and I was billed over approx. $100 ea. I don’t get to my post office very much because my legs pelvis were crippled in a car accident so when I called the number they said it was past the time to return and I had to pay full price I didn’t argue but I should have . I pd it and I cancelled it motto recieve any more and not to be billed for any more shipments .. I Recieved an e-mail back that I will not be charged for anymore shipments and will not recieve anymore .. I emailed them because they don’t give any invoice with these.. they are sent in a black plastic envelope ..I don’t have it in me to argue so I pd the price I had to.. I’ve gone thru cancer and I’m raising my child that has Down syndrome and deaf .. I have enough on my hands my son is 22 now and I’m 68 I’m a vulnerable adult I walk with a walker and cane .. I don’t know why but this month I just thought I’d check my card as I do not get any Monthy statements from them that I did request last year for monthly statements but they didn’t send me any .. I don’t use that card very much so I know I always have extra on it so I never worry but I called my card this month to check what was deposited because SSI and SS was to get an increase so I wanted to see how much .. I don’t have Cable or the internet on my TV so I never knew how much I’d get .. someone I know told me there was going to be about a $50 increase on our dumiabily checks I checked the balance and then I thought I’ll chrck transact…. it will only give the last 10 transactions… I couldn’t figure out what a couple were so I called my card they told me and I didn’t recognizethem so I said I needed to get those off my bill they were not my charges … I asked for their phone numbers and I called the numbers I got ahold of someone and they told me it was for 2 infinite restore products at first I wasn’t quite sure what that it was because it had been so long ago that I had cancelled .i told them I shouldn’t be getting charged for anything whatever this was. For what it was I told them do not charge me for anything else.. so I thought about this name and remembered I had sent in for some cream I thought cost only that $8.83 I think it was .. went thru my pictures and I found I had ordered this but then also I went thru my emails I had put in important and it showed the date I had cancelled these products .. Last year 2/25/21 and they responded back 2/26/21 telling me I will not recieve any further shipments and I will not be billed .I have this email for proof. So I called the number on the email and they said yes that I had cancelled and they could guarantee they have not been billing me for any .. so I again called the numbers I was given by my direct express card and oone number that hadn’t answered before said they were not for any facial creams they were for gadgets and AirPods .. I called the other number on my statement and a man answered sounded like the same one I had talked to the first time.. he said he wasn’t I told them I just got off the phone from infinite repair and they said I cancelled this they had the date I had cancelled and he said I only have a record of you canceling today .. I tried to explain to but he just kept saying only today .. I then said I’ll just let my cars handle this because I should not have been getting charged for anything … have you ever heard of this .. my card said well we will have to do a 3 way call and then they will make their decision what to do about these charges omg I’ve never heard of this. Efote .. how in the world and I going to prove this when they all have different tel numbers ..

  • ADRIENNE JONAS

I was stupid enough to be scammed twice. Cannot recall the name of the first group that gave me a very bad time on the phone but did cancel the subscription in the end though I paid for the “free” trial and the first shipment. It was either Radiant Revive or Pure Eyes.
The second one was supposed to be from Judge Judy saying she had given up that to concentrate on her face and eye creams. I called them as I just received a shipment but this time after holding on for a long time got a nice lady called Precious and she found my order and supposedly cancelled it and is supposedly sending me a confirming email and she gave me a cancellation number. Hopefully this will go through. The Company in this instance is called Velaire Anti Aging Face Cream and the phone number that worked was 888-382-7947
Thank you so much for all your work in helping those of us that have been foolish enough to believe the scams. I did the same thing with the Keto pills that supposedly were approved by Shark Tank to lose weight – forget about it – I put on 2 lbs!!

  • LaVonda

Beware of the product Angeletta. I ordered the “free trial”. It then said to take the ageless eye revitalizing too. I thought ok 2 products one shipping and handling. WRONG. Two products with 2 shipping and handling. I let that go. Not wanting to have a big issue on it cause I was dealing with the death of my mom. Then a month later, Christmas eve, I get emails from my bank stating I have overdrawn. I had not bought anything and I knew I hadn’t overdrawn. So, I went to look at my recent spending and I see where I was charged $88. some odd cents and $89. and some odd cents. Luckily it came with a number and I called. Customer service was quite rude. would not answer any of my questions until I answered all theirs. I was then informed that I did not receive a free product trial but a free TIME trial. I was to cancel out before the deadline. I never saw any of that in the fine print. They were quite rude. After a heated chat she stated I could receive 30% back of my money on a product that don’t work. I said I wanted to speak to the supervisor and she said the supervisor was not available. More heated chat. Then I was put on hold. When she returned she stated that her supervisor said she could do 50% off and refund me. I let her know I caught what she was saying by letting her know if she can talk to the supervisor so can I. She informed me that the supervisor was not available to ME. She said she could give me a full refund if I returned the products back in their boxes unused. How would I know if their product didn’t work if I had not tried it? I told her I was going to call BBB and report them. She tried to make it sound as BBB would be on their side. I let her know I will be contacting all places I can to show they are a fraud. I was put on hold again. She returned and said I would receive a full refund in 7 to 10 business days and hung up on me. The number is 888-408-6102. Buyer beware!!!

Hi Lavonda, thanks for sharing. I hope they sent you a confirmation for the cancellation. They are notorious for saying one thing and continuing to charge you. If you do have an email, this is something you can show to your bank for proof should they charge you again. Good luck, and I’m very sorry for your loss, this time of year must be very difficult. Peace and love to you. Rachel

One more comment. ReRevive can be added to the list of fraudulent offers. 866-460-3394. Out of California, but the package comes from Florida.

  • Adele K. Raines

Folks, when a package arrives that you didn’t or cannot remember ordering anything, DO NOT OPEN IT!! I CAN’T EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH!!! Instead, in large letters on the package write RETURN TO SENDER. Then take the package to the post office and let them know this is a fraud. It is a Federal Offense to use the mails for fraudulent purposes. Then as you are on your way to the P.O., call you bank or card company and let them know that the this is a fraudulent charge and that you are returning the package unopened. If this FREE OFFER asks for your bank or credit number, then it is a BIG FRAUD!

How do I know this? Fortunately, but too late, I have son whose deceased wife fell for one of these FREE Offers. Now I look at every FREE offer with askance and look up the information. Remember, “If it looks to good to be true, then it probably is!” Once burnt, twice shy.

  • debora melo

    Hi Girls,

I also followed down in a scam like this… The name the company that sent me a sample is BLISS BRITE and the cream that I received is VERO CREAM.
The point is that one interesting thing happened to me, differentely all of you, I was luckier. I contacted my bank (bank OF AMERICA) yesterday and the attendant responsible for fraud area told me that I would have to contact the company and order them to unsubscribe my name from their company. However I entered the bank website today and for my surprise the value was refunded.
I was very happy, because I already imagined that it would be very complicated to me to reverse this situation directly with the company, even more because my english is not the best one.
I am very happy! I Love Bank of America more than ever now! 😉

  • Kelli C Townson

Naomi skin care products is also a scam!! I paid for a free trial & just paid S&H (I thought) then I got charged $90 that they would NOT refund!!! I don’t have the phone number but u can add did to you lost because it is a scam!!!

  • Deborah Dittman

Add AngelicQuickyskinformula 866-203-7414 to your scam list. Like so many, it’s a trial offer with only shipping costs charged, and then in the small print apparently, if you don’t cancel within a certain amount of time you are charged for the “free trial”. I was unaware, and cancelled when I received the first charges on my credit card, but not in time before receiving a 2nd shipment and a 2nd set or charges. They say “nothing can be done”. Is that correct? Any watch dog agencies we can report these scam to? Thanks for your help.

  • Mary

Angeletta Skin Cream – scam – They offer a 7 day window for cancellation. Price is $95 if not cancelled. Their phone number is 1-877-694-1843. Does anyone have a shipping address? I cancelled and they didn’t give one to me.

  • Falcon Blackmore

One other method of filing a complaint about the company who scammed you on this besides the BBB – the FBI. For over a decade, they’ve had an internet fraud reporting site. Here is where to report this and any other internet fraud you’re a victim of. From past experience, I can tell you that scammers pay attention when they get a notice from the FBI more than from any other source. The credit card company can impact them no more than the cost of the purchase. The BBB can only damage their BBB rating that goes nowhere else. Consumers have to know and remember to check BBB for each merchant they buy from on a site other than Amazon or eBay (who have their own fraud protection service). But when it moves into the FBI’s domain they could be facing criminal charges, arrest, … That gets their attention, just like it would probably do to us if we got a notice from the FBI.

After completing an Australia Post survey which came via SMS on the actual Australia Post phone number, I was given the opportunity for a “free gift” as a thank you for completing the survey. I chose the DermaCare Glow moisturiser. I only had to pay the $3.95 postage. This amount was deducted from my bank account and the transaction reference was DermaCareglow.com Online. A couple of weeks later 2 amounts were deducted from my account $37.11 then $147.77 with the same reference. After using the URL: http://www.dermacareglow.com I used the email details provided: [email protected], the email came back as rejected by recipient. The phone number was not connected: 855-810-3479. I have cancelled my card so no further transactions can be deducted.
A total scam, I cant believe I fell for it. They have obviously hacked into the Australia Post number. (I have notified them also)

I ordered a free trial where you pay shipping only. It gives you 18 days to cancel before being billed, Before 18 days they started charging my account. Of course when I call they are closed. I’ve already called my bank to dispute the charges and I left a message with the company to cancel. I also had the bank cancel my card so they won’t be able to try to bill anything again.

This is the phone number listed on the bottle. 888-757-7914

Kristi, thanks for sharing! Keep trying to call and ask them to email you a cancellation confirmation. Believe it or not, I’ve seen people get collections letters when they just cancel the card and don’t get a hold of the company to officially cancel. It’s SO crazy they get away with this, but they do. Good luck! Rachel

I got scammed by Ambrosina Skin Cream from a Shark Tank advertisement. Here is the phone # 855-247-4259. I threatened to contact the attorney general and report their fraud. They only credited me back 50%.

  • Dorothy Schott

I tried the phone numbers offered by your article, but the first one was not available and the second was not serviced by Restora. I called the credit card company and they gave me the number of: 866-605-0906 ,,. and that one went through. You might change the old numbers …for the time being anyway. Those companies certainly know how to try to get the best out of one.

The offer that I received supposedly was from the company that the Queen of England’s new daughter-in-law owns. I was sure that it was on the level, but sadly, I was wrong. Live and learn.

  • sandra

Youthagainfacecre is a scam. They charged me 87.35 for skin cream I did not received. Bank of america credit card services take the side of the vendor and I am the customer. What is wrong with this picture?

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Sandra, they get away with it because most of these cream scams do post their terms and conditions, but they’re hidden at the bottom of the page (which is clearly SCAMMY), but the banks get behind them, despite them violating the negative consumer law… they are supposed to make it clear, but they don’t. It’s unfortunate. You have to be your best advocate against scams because more often than not, the banks won’t help. You can try contacting the cream company an demanding a refund, and at the very least make sure you reach them to cancel any future shipments. If you can’t reach them, have your bank cancel your card and get a new one, and raise hell with the bank manager while you do it. This is crap.. Good luck, Rachel

    • Falcon Blackmore

I have disputed many charges on my credit cards over the years. The key to getting them to side with you vs. the merchant is documentation not just your word against theirs.
To begin with, ALWAYS take a screen shot of your order. I have mine and there are no T’s and C’s on a popup screen or on theorder.
If they are a known scammer, I give them the links to sources detailing their pattern of scamming not just yours. The bank needs some kind of backup to making a decision against a merchant. But they do it all the time so don’t quit if one customer service rep says no.
Contact them in writing as well as by phone. Much of the financial world is still stuck in the dark ages of paper and mail. Just like when you want to cancel your card, the most reliable way is by certified mail, the same with contacting them about this. After your phone call, mail them a signed letter detailing the scam and enclosing copies of the documentation you have. One reason paper is better is that it contains the entire dispute. Those reps don’t have the time or motivation to document your dispute in detail during your phone call, and they immediately get a new call as soon as you hang up so they don’t have time to do it after the call either. So sending them those details by mail ensures they have your whole story.
In this case, the BBB had 42 complaints already about this. That will likely be all the CC company needs besides my detailed story and a screen shot of the order. I may send them the link to this page, but because it’s not an “authoritative source” they won’t lend much credence to it. The BBB IS an authoritative source. Another authoritative source is the FBI IC3 site for reporting internet fraud. I don’t know how to track down previous complaints to them and doubt the public can do it anyway. But my complaint shows I’m seriously pursuing this case of internet fraud, further backing up my dispute of the charge. Again, the CC company looks for backup of any “charge-backs” to a merchant. What they do when they contact the merchant is send them copies of what I sent them for the dispute. Then they wait for a response from the merchant. In this case, after seeing all the formal complaints filed against them, including the criminal complaint, I’ve never had one doing anything other than do just what I request and try to smooth things over, hoping I will submit a withdrawal of my complaints (which I never do, but I can let them believe I might). This may sound like a burden but I turn it into a “get the bad guys” game. It’s a bit of “cops and robbers” where you can delight in the game and even more so when you win it!!

      • Rachel Vrabel
        Rachel Vrabel

Falcon, thanks so much for sharing all this info. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said it all may feel like a burden because it really is. All of your advice is great, as far as documenting and taking screen shots, but unfortunately many of the people being scammed are elderly women on social security and they’re not too internet savvy. So, it’s really tough for everyone to jump through all the hoops to fight for their money back. What’s infuriating is that the banks often side with the vendor since the T&C are there, just totally buried on the bottom and you have to search for it. If you saw my CBS interview, they explained how this actually violates the negative option consumer law, yet the banks still want their money. It’s really sad. I’ll save this info for the FBI internet fraud complaints, that’s great info and I was not familiar. Thanks!!! Good luck with your case. Rachel

I go scammed but followed how to do everything and it worked out. They offered me discounts but I stood firm and said no and told them if they don’t cancel my subscriptions I will tell the Better Business Bureau and they did cancel with no more talks of discounts. She said I would have to return the products or be charged 29.95 but when I asked her where to return them she just said she will let me keep them. The number for jubile skin cream is 438-228-0170. Thanks for all the advice.

Additional phone number for Glamor Gold: 844-303-6280. They claim to be open 24/7 but low and behold they are not. The free-trial was no so free. Shame on me. I did call the bank.

  • Cheryl

Thanks Rachel for providing the cancellation numbers. I was able to call Vero Revive and cancel without any problem. Except of course she wanted to give me all kinds of discounts which I declined. Then she told me I could keep the sample for 29.95 or send it back. I told her it was my understanding it was a FREE sample after paying S & H. She then said canceling was no problem gave me a confirmation number for the cancellation

  • Melanie

I fell for this scam as well. Sept 7 I saw an ad on facebook that seemed too good to be true but also felt that if so many tv personalities were behind it and supporting it the product it must be worth a shot. The shipping charges appeared on my next credit card bill but nothing else. I just received another shipment of product yesterday and was very surprised. There was no invoice, receipt, paper of any kind in the package. I pulled up my credit card bill on line as we are in a postal strike and do not yet have my October bill. There is the charge at $190 and $199 posted at the end of Sept and again for October. They are on they are on the same bill as it overlaps the month. I now have about $800 in charges. I don’t tend to check my statement on line as I always get the paper statement. I can’t believe this has happened. I called and immediately got a person on the phone through Next Skin. Absolutely no refunds. She never hung up on me but stopped talking altogether. No supervisor to pass me to. She said their terms and conditions were posted. I never saw anything regarding an auto ship or what future pricing would be. Who needs $800 in face cream in 2 month??? I am devastated!!!! I will try to call the companies listed on my bill tomorrow but seeing everyone’s comments I am not holding out hope. The companies listed on my bill are on the list already. Wish I saw this blog before!!!

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Melanie, this is unacceptable! You need to call them bank and demand more, better yet, call your bank and see if they will dispute the charges altogether for you. Normally if you threaten the cream company that you’re going to call the BBB, your state’s attorney general’s office, and the FTC and local news station, they will usually offer you SOMETHING, usually 50% refund at minimum. You need to put on your boxing gloves and play hardball with these crooks. Good luck, and I’m really sorry, this is awful! Rachel

      • Falcon Blackmore

Thanks for doing this Rachel – we need more “guardian angels” like you to guard us from our own folly when we get scammed without doing enough research in advance to avoid it. Yes, it even happened to me for the first time in about 10 years because I got lazy despite being an internet pioneer and “pro” (former executive for a major corporation responsible for the management of all things internet, including legal issues like this). It can happen to anyone who isn’t cautious enough!

I wanted to offer you more resource to file a complaint with regarding internet fraud. In addition to the FTC, a special unit of the FBI called IC3 investigates internet fraud.
Here’s where to file a complaint of internet fraud: https://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx

Here’s another Federal site giving you links to IC3, the FTC, and other internet fraud resources. https://www.usa.gov/online-safety

There are so many comments on here, this comment will be instantly buried. That’s why I’m directing this to you so you can pass these two links on to all of your blog readers.
Thanks again for your diligent work on this! Blessings and Namaste…

OMG! Velaire anti-aging face cream and eye serum got me. I have 2 phone numbers that are different from the number you have. They are 877-206-3914 and 877-206-3950. When I called “Velaire” the rep told me that I signed up for monthly shipments. I told him that I specifically checked or unchecked the box (I can’t remember if I had to check or uncheck the box at the time) that would automatically enroll me for monthly shipments. He said he went ahead and canceled any future shipments but, if I wanted any of my money back that I needed to have my cc company call them with me on the line. Then they would see what they could do for me. I had already placed a dispute with my cc company.
Too many scammers in this world.

  • Jami

My name is Jami, and I was also scammed 🙁
I fell for the Robin Roberts Bella Radiance scam. I have 2 numbers that no one ever answers. The only email I have is a noreply. Even the website has no contact info. http://bellaradianceageless.com/
888-281-7289, 833-623-6705. My credit card company is disputing. I was also told to file a complaint with my state attorney general. I suggest everyone else do the same. I have no question. Just want you to post and hopefully help someone else.

    • Ann

Jami and Rachel, I have another number for Bella Radiance. I just talked to someone there and she did finally agree to cancel the monthly “membership” after I said why won’t you do what I am asking you to do? She was offering the various discounts and I told her I couldn’t afford them . I knew I was scammed . When I hung up, I typed in their name and this info from Rachel came up. I , too, signed up for it because of the Robin Roberts ad. This is the number that was on my credit card app 844 532 7798

Rachel, you have earned your angle wings for sure. Thank you for this blog and allowing others to post with their experience. You all are right. I got scammed into ALLURALUXE face cream and eye serum for the trial. Their number is 888-313-3616. You are right persistence is key and thanks for saying not to give your card number to look up your account. I’ve called and been told my info does not exist, they can’t send me to supervisor because I don’t have account, even though when you call it immediately greeted me with my name and address. They did ask for my card number to look up my account, because of you I said no you have my address. They hung up on me. I called again and got someone else. This one was saying I do have a trial it’s not a subscription so nothing to cancel until 14 days. I was persistent like you said to be (otherwise might not have been ) and after her negotiating discounts etc she finally agreed to cancel. And because of your blog and your list of how to deal with this I demanded an email of cancellation. Luckily I saw your blog before the trial period was done. I was told I have to return the trial product at my cost and $19.00. At this point I have the cancelling email so I’ll gladly return at my expense just to be done with this stress. Thank you so much. And everyone else please read some of these blogs, great info and it all works what they say to do. Good luck to you all.

Hi Tish, thanks so much for your comment, you made my day! Usually people don’t find me until after they’ve been billed full price for the trial (or several months of billing), so I’m glad you caught yours in time!

If you’re still looking and really want a SUPERB combo of skin care, please take a moment to check out the Posh 911 Moisturizer (only $20) mixed with a few drops of the Cann I Be CBD oil ($42 but will last for months).

It’s honestly FANTASTIC and the results have been unexpected. CBD (which is a full spectrum hemp oil) has an anti-inflammatory and healing effect on the skin, and moisturizes, but what’s shocked me the most is how it has shrank my nose pores to look almost non-existent. And the 911 cream has caffeine for immediate tightening so it’s really perking up this 46 year old face of mine 🙂

The effect has been nothing short of amazing and I can’t wait to blog about this! I know you didn’t ask, but I’m assuming you got the trial because you were hoping to find something that works well…. and this combo has impressed me more than anything has in 10 years…I think the key is mixing the CBD with the moisturizer. CBD has many healing properties so I guess it’s no surprise – the best stuff we get is from the plants 🙂 I’ve also been mixing the CBD with body butter, it’s all very relaxing and pampering as well, which is what I look for in skin care.

Take care and good for you for being tough with these crooks! I hope others see your message as well! xo Rachel

      • Tish

Rachel, you responded back to me on Oct 23,2018 after I sent you a message thanking you for doing this and that you saved me. Sorry it’s taken so long to respond my email crashed for a while. Thank you for your advice on the lotions etc you have tried. Especially the anti inflammatory. I’m going through some kind of auto immune disease ( been 3 years and still haven’t figured it out) but what happens is any thing I’ve tried on my face blows up my face, turns it bright fire red and burns. I end up going to ER cause neck starts swelling for IV Benadryl. All I’m using now is Vaseline and so far that’s the only thing that won’t irritate me. Haha hence the reason I got excited with the so called “trial”. I think I’ll look into your suggestions and try a small bottle of posh 911 moisturizer and the can I be cbd oil. Thanks for the advice. And if by chance it gives me the reaction no worries I have friends lined up willing to take these items off my hands lol. Now this is a one time purchase right……no contract when I look it up??? Haha sorry couldn’t resist. But really a one time buy right??? 😜 Thank you again for doing this not only did you save me from hundreds of dollars but also a lesson on how to handle these issues, which I’ll never get involved with again. But you’ve given me the tools to perhaps help a friend. Thanks. Tish.

Hi Tish, thanks so much for your comment! So sorry you’re having so much trouble finding a solution for skin care that won’t irritate you. Yes, the Posh Moisture 911 and Cann I Be is just a one time purchase – no free trials involved, no auto ships and no contracts of course! I’m having a great result from this combo. It’s actually fun to add a few drops of the oil to the moisturizer – and it feels great on my skin. Let me know if I can help – I linked you to both, it’s hard to find the Cann I Be since it’s under the new products section. Thank you! Rachel

Sonia, I would contact your bank and ask for the number of the company who billed you, they usually bill under a different name altogether. You’ve got to try and reach the company and cancel the auto shipment. If your bank can’t give you a good working number, then I would demand that they dispute these scam charges. Good luck! Rachel

What numbers do you have for Purley Organics? I just came across your article and I’m concerned that I have fallen for a scam as well. Funny thing is I’m normally not this stupid. I want to try to get on top of this before I get stuck in some recurring billing situation.

  • Liz

I thought I would share this with you: When I received my credit card statement this week, I quickly realized that I had fallen for one of these scams. In addition to the initial charges of less than $10, there were two other charges for the same products totalling nearly $400. Fortunately, there were company phone numbers listed beside each charge. I phoned one of the numbers, was adamant that I was cancelling my order and succeeded in having both orders cancelled (in the one phone call) and getting an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation for each one. I then wrote to my credit company in an attempt to have the amount already charged credited to my account. I don’t hold out a lot of hope for that, but I did manage to cut my losses…a not-so-small price to be paid for my stupid mistake. Believe me, it will never happen again!!

I fell into a scam as well…I was able to call the company within 24 hours ad cancel the subscription, The woman gave me the run around, but once I mentioned the BBB she was willing to cancel. I did receive a confirmation email stating the subscription was cancelled. Thanks!

You should be good Michelle, they usually use a different phone number on bank statements to mislead people, that’s why it’s always good to contact your bank and ask them for the number of the company who is billing you. Thanks for your comment! Rachel

    Hi Rachel,
I too have just become a victim of this ever-growing scam, and so coming across your article above gave me a little bit of comfort, knowing that I was not the first -or the only – to be scammed by these “free trial” skin care fraudsters!
I was browsing on Facebook one evening, and came across an offer for the free trial of skin products used by the likes of Marilyn Denis, Jen Valentyne and one of the other beautful ladies from “The View” – local Canadian TV hosts – all of whom I admire.
I signed up for the “free trial”, paying only shipping charges – and yesterday got the shock of my life to find out that they had enrolled me an an “auto subscription” and that for the 2 creams which were originally supposed to cost CAD 4.00 each – I was now facing a bill of CAD 385!!! I was devastated …. by the breach of trust, the lack of co-operation from both the credit card company and the defrauding company, and my own gullibility! I should have known better!
I too would like to warn so many others out there, and will flood social media as much as possible in the coming week …. but wanted to alert you to add these 2 names to your ever-growing list:
    * Technicskin.com (Phone No. 1-844-878-2664) and
    * Skinbalancetoday.com (Phone No. 1-833-459-652)

Unfortunately, because these companies will not provide me with a “cancellation number” – my bank will not take any further action or “block” them. And because I am out of the 14 day “trial period”, like many others, I am left to pay this huge bill …. but will be cancelling my credit card as soon as the payments are made and verified in the next day.

I will also gladly share your blog above to Facebook – if I can figure out how to do that 🙂

Thank you again for raising awareness and trying to stop these crooks.

  • Mary

Thank you so much for suggesting to call the bank to get the number since it wasn’t listed. I did get a number from the bank and was able to cancel my account and did receive an email stating it had been cancelled (see below) I also asked for a cancellation # which he gave me. None of this happened easily. He made several attempts to suck(er) me in:

New Number for the Same Product under a different name. DERMA JOIE Anti Aging Cream and DERMA JOIE Eye Serum. Their phone numbers were only obtained from my Debit Card Company. There were two (2) phone numbers for the products I received “FREE”, by paying S/H. There was NO mention of it being a Trial for any number of days. Had it did, I would have not ordered it – that’s how I do things. I tried to use a Prepaid Debit card at first, but it was rejected. So stupidity stepped in and ordered the “FREE” Products using my Bank Card. However, I did receive the $5.96 S/H Anti-aging cream and the Youthful Eye Serum for the $4.95 S/H fee. A total of $10.91. But that is all I ever received within three (3) months. Those we’re ordered on November 30, 2018. But recently, as of March 2, 2019, I find this “company” had withdrawn 2 separate amounts on the same date, of $93.80 for the cream, and $92.85 for the Serum. I called them, but the first call was garbled with loud voices in the background- sounded like a multi-person Argument. The operator who initially answered my call, left me hanging, as I repeatedly said “Hello”, “Hello”. Finally someone hung up their phone, without saying a word to me. I called back the next day, got a non native English speaking lady, who kept repeating that the first “Free” order I received was for the $93.80 and the $92.85 charges. After vehemently telling her that I had not received ANY OTHER ORDERS since the S/H charges, she said payments had been denied in the previous months, but the current charges were for the only “FREE” + Shipping and Handling Products I received EVER! Again, I emphasize that I only received the “free” shipment ordered on November 2018, got them in December 2018. December “Free” but pay S/H arrived. But NOTHING Arrived in Jan, Feb, or March 2019. Honestly, there was NO mention of “having to Cancel, before…” in the ad. Finally, the operator said that she could refund me ONLY $80.00 and it was returned to my card by the evening. Today I find the receipt for the initial received items. It states that a Grand Total of $10.91 on November 30, 2018 was received and my products would arrive by December 5, 2018. I will contact them again today and contest the defaulted refund. Wish me GOD’s Blessings… if no results, then my Card Company will file a COMPLAINT, then I will file with the BBB and the FTC. Thank you, this long narrative serves as my tool to fill out the necessary paperwork which is usually required for further investigations. Byl Bill Butler

Got scammed by Essence PH Eye and SKin. Their # is not included on your list. It is (866) 203-7398.
Although I totally missed it in their add, your “free sample” turns into full priced items if you don’t cancel within 14 days. My $4.95 & $5.95 shipping turned into charges of $86.95 & $89.95 respectively. The billing company is ANGELICQUICKYTHFORMULA. I have filed a dispute with my bank and cancelled the subscription.

  • Kl

Adelina skin cream and eye serum. Exact same scam as everyone is describing. 4.99$ shipping for free trial. No mention of addtional charges or subscriptions anywhere. False celebrity endorsements, (this one specifically said this product was designed by Kelly Ripa and is used by her daily). I did call them several times they will not let me speak with a supervisor ever, they will not let me return the full bottles of product, and they already charged me approximately $90 and said that Im in for monthly subscription. They don’t care that they’re already reported to the Better Business Bureau for this problem, and that I’m going to contact them as well, they really don’t care at all- they were practically laughing about it. It’s very frustrating , I don’t know how these things haven’t been stopped already.

FINALLY!! I had my credit card company get ahold of someone at VITASILK!! I had about 10 numbers I was calling and of course no one ever answered for over a week!!

This is the one I called (via VISA) and get ahold of someone and cancelled this $*&%!!

I am still out $400 but at least I hope there is some relief to any future issues… sigh….

Number for Glamor Gold 844-243-1297. Prepare to argue and insist on total refund. No discounts!!! Then file a charge dispute with your credit card. They are very helpful.

    • Kristine Culpepper

Here’s another one- L’Ojesete Wrinkle Freezing Cream. Their number is (877)646-5092. The charge on your card will show up as “VITALWEALTHONLINE”. They charged me $94.99 after I stupidly ordered a free trial with $4.95 shipping. When you call just keep telling them you want a full refund. They will offer you discounts and free jars. They will say they do not give refunds. I asked for a supervisor and after going through all the discounts again she finally said she would give me a 75% refund and then hung up on me. I called back again, got another supervisor, threatened them with the BBB and accused them of deceptive marketing practices. I finally got a 100% refund and an email confirmation, which I forwarded to my bank and the money is back in my account. I didn’t even open their stupid cream, which I also told the supervisor. Don’t give up and don’t take anything less than the full refund, no matter what they say! It may take awhile, but you will get your money back!

another scam to be careful of: Deals with Kelly Rippa’s face cream, shows up as “mytruebeautyVNTV” and “JITLADS LLC 8772” on statement if you miss the cancellation period. phone number for Customer Service to cancel is: 855-561-6291

      Hi Valerie

Could you please email me the phone number and email you found for this company can’t seam to reach them to cancel my order .Please help.

  • Scott

I have another scam product to add to your list. It is the:

Avila Ageless Serum & Firming Cream

They offer a “free trial” for just shipping… but as all the others there is some fine print… somewhere… that locks you into an autopay-autoship system. Upon cancelling, they will offer all the way down to 80% off… and that offer holds even if you call back to restore your account (just in case this is actually a working product… lol). Thanks so much for putting this list up!

  • Si

I ordered a free trial $4.95 + s/h for total $5.95. Didn’t think that was too bad. Until I checked my checking account today and I now have a pending charge of $87.43. The free trial was for Juneau Skin Serum and apparently they are sending another one for the total cost! My statement shows the company is Terrific Beauty Wellness on Brown Road in Mesa AZ. I have searched for the company and Juneau Skin Serum and all I keep finding is to order the free trial. I can’t find any phone number to call and cancel, which they probably won’t anyway with this being a scam. I talked to my bank and they said I need to try to contact them first. So if anyone else has dealt with them and/or has a phone #, please help me and let me know. Much appreciated!

        Hi Rachel:

I also got hooked in the scam with Vitasilk. I paid via credit card, so I am working with the credit card company but like Sherry, none of the phone calls or emails have resulted in a response from them. One of their phone numbers just reports “technical difficulties – call back another time”. Rachel, may I ask how would the bank have a possibly have a different phone number?

        • Rachel Vrabel
          Rachel Vrabel

If the number you have on file, or possibly a different number the bank can give you from the back end of their records, can’t produce a human, this should give your bank a clear picture that it’s a scam and they should BLOCK those charges and work with you on a dispute. If they can’t or won’t do this, you should find a better bank. Seriously it shocks me some of the banks seem to be in on these scams. Give them hell. Good luck! Rachel

  • KAREN MCCUMBER

stopped this eye cream LUMARE SKIN EYE CREAM 4 MONTHS AGO. Still getting it, stopped it at my bank. My bank says they keep sending it under a new name! 866-346-1930 is one of their phone numbers.

  • Sandra

This isn’t a question but info on what I am going through with Vitasilk. I fell for the face they used Marilyn Denis’s name and photo to advertise for a free trial but pay shipping and handling of approx $9.00. I did receive! I telephoned 3 different phone numbers, numberous times, to cancel further orders and was unable to get through to any one. I left many messages for someone to call and why I was calling. No one returned my call. I sent approximately 26 emails and received no response. Further monies were withdrawn from my account and no product has been received. I have shut down my bank account and reported the issue to the fraud department but was told there is a good chance I will not be reimbursed. So the end result is even if the fine print says if you cancel within a certain time there will be no more charges, that is not true! Not one person returned my phone call and emails. I feel angry at myself for falling for this!

  • Barb Laskowski

I to fell victim to one of the celebrity cream scams on an add that I saw on my yahoo home page. It was for a company called Dream Serum. I paid $4.95 & $4.90 for shipping on 2 items plus $2.49 for some kind of VIP.

All of a sudden, I find that I’ve been charged $89.87 & $88.99 two weeks later. I didn’t see those charges until yesterday because I had been traveling. Then I had a call from my card company about more charges from them possibly being fraud. When I called the company this morning, I was told that I had “agreed” to the terms and conditions before I placed my order. I do not believe that because I got caught up in one of those things years ago and I do read now. Unfortunately, where they have you is that it’s your word against theirs. After her starting at 35% refund for the most recent charges and then going to 50% (neither of which was I going to accept) I finally received a full refund on the most recent charges. I then spoke with a “supervisor” who again gave me the
whole story about I had accepted the terms. She again started with no refund, then it went to 35%, then 50% and I did finally accept 75%. I let her know that I had googled them and found many reports about their practices.
I still plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and whoever else I can think of. It would be good to add them to your list of companies above. The phone # is 855-778-3026. Unfortunately, I think there is one large company behind all this who is just using multiple names for the fake products. Where they get you is linking them to celebrities. Mine was Savannah Guthrie but I’ve seen the same sort of thing with Kate Middleton & others.

    • Beebee

Same exact thing happened to me. The celebrity was also Savannah Guthrie and like an idiot I trusted the site, in part because of the fact that her name was connected to it. Same money situation, paid 4.95 and 4.97 shipping and handling for my tiny trial sized products. Two weeks later got charged almost 180.00, no new products have come, and I am told it was for the unreturned trial size. I am careful and I read every word of the adds to make sure I am not signing up for some sort of membership. But, unfortunately that’s exactly what I did. I turned down the repeated offers of discounts for both future shipments and partial refund. I finally threatened to report them to the BBB and the rep agreed to a full refund. I then called my credit card company to dispute the charges. She told me to call back if I don’t get my refund within ten days. I am worried though because I didn’t get a confirmation # or email. This was also under Dream Serum and their phone # is 844-616-4504

      • Rachel Vrabel
        Rachel Vrabel

Beebee, if you can, call them back and demand a cancellation email. They will continue to charge you and when you call back they’ll pretend you never cancelled. You’ll want something to be able to show your bank if it comes to that. Good luck! Rachel

    • Mary Jane

Hello I have just been scammed by a company called FINALSKINTODAY. their emails came from ‘skinbillinghelp.com’. The products are named SKIN FINESSE and NEXT SKIN. This is how it happened: There was a newsfeed article on Marilyn Dennis; how she is quitting her TV show to concentrate on a new line of skin care products. I read this article and since I have watched her on TV for years I thought this was on the level. When I followed the provided link I was connected with the above mentioned company. I stupidly accepted an offer (shipping only) on Aug 17 for two skin care products. On August 31 I have two transactions on my credit card totaling $386.87. I called this number 1 855 303 3110 and spoke with one of their representatives. They absolutely refuse to cancel the two transactions dated Aug 31 2018. I cancelled my order and have had my credit card company dispute these payments….PLEASE ANYONE WHO IS TEMPTED BY THESE ADS…DON’T DO IT!!! I have two jars of worthless product which has cost me $386.87 plus I’ve wasted a couple of hours this morning trying to get myself out of this mess.

Velaire anti-aging cream and serum free trail paid 8.90 in S&H on
8/13/18 . Now I have 2 charges on my debit card, one for 67.33 and the other for 67.28. So much for FREE. I tried to call the customer service number on the products box (888)382-7943, was on hold for 45min or more the the line just went dead. Please let others know there’s another facial cream scam going on. Thanks and God bless you.

BEWARE OF FINAL SKIN CARE free trial – THEY ARE SCAMMERS I thought I was getting a trial skin care cream for just the shipping and handling – to find they charged my credit card over $400.00 dollars on my credit card. They are scammers they were not clear on their terms and conditions listed on their website- they made the process way to easy. I called to get a refund and they just continue to talk over you and would let you get an inch word in there terms and conditions were not clear listed on their on their website. Please be aware of this company they are not legit they wouldn’t even tell me where they are located or provide me with the CEO name , they told me they don’t have a CEO or have a finance department. If you are scammed by this company please report to the BBB there are over 15 complaints of this happening to other customers. Also file a dispute with your credit card company. Stealing peoples hard earned money is to just.

    • Susan Sanders

      Hi Lisa

Same thing happened to me. I posted here on April 25th. Never got my money back. I can’t believe they are still getting away with it. I kept asking the lady for an address and she said they don’t have one. I told her I didn’t know how she slept at night. I reported them to the BBB and FTC but never heard back.

Gleam and Glow is using Marilyn Dennis as a lure to receive free trial. In the small print it gives you 18 days to cancel. I called 1 866 218 8576 and was told there is no return policy but after much discussion she SAID she canceled my account and told me there would be no charge of $109. I’ll have to a wait and see.

Lifecell is amazing and more of an anti-aging cream that also doubles as a wrinkle filler and primer, it’s a bit more expensive but also a great product. Thanks for your question, Rachel

  • Angie

Well I got scammed also. I ordered a trial of Glamour Gold Retinol Eye Serum and Retinol Face Cream. Paid the 4.94 & 4.97 shipping price for these items. Just looked at my checking acct. I have 2 charges from Capo Skin Cream for $89.94 on 8/26/18 & 8/27/18. Then I have one charge from Skin DRMA Beauty for 84.97 on 8/27/18. The phone numbers reflected on my acct is 844-232-4485 & 844-615-1604. Of course they are closed tonight so I’ll be calling them in the morning. Yes I seen it on Facebook. Ugh!!!

  • Rozine Gibson

I went on Yahoo news and they have an advertisement for a facial cream called Jeune Fleur. It is linked to various celebrities. It says that you can receive a free trial but when you put in your credit card number…you are automatically charged for an additional item. The number to cancel is 833-211-5399. This is a total scam!!!

  • Myrna

I got scammed by VitaSilk, $4.98 and $5.98 for 2 small samples, which was OK. Then they charged $115.00 and $119 to my Visa! I called my bank, RBC., spoke with their fraud department, got the charges removed, cancelled my VISA, (I now have to apply for a new one) and the charges were removed from my bank account. These people are crooks and thieves, do not be sucked In like I was.

I saw a Shark Tank backed add for Lumineri face and eye cream trial on Face Book and sent in for it. It arrived and it was ok but nothing special. The trial said nothing about auto refills. The next month the two products arrived again in a undiscriptive package and I was billed almost $200. I googled Lumineri and found a customer service number to cancel any further shipments. Guess what I got in the mail yesterday? Another shipment of the two products however this time, there was a small piece of paper included with a customer service number, 844-747-9022. I called it and spoke with a nice representative named Jessie. Jessie asked for my cancelllation confirmation number from last month. I replied that I wasn’t given one. She then informed me that she could not refund my money without it. she then processed my new cancellation number so if I receive another shipment, I will be able to send it back and get a refund.

I just got scammed from Juneau Beverly Hills, same thing as everyone else, free trial just pay shipping and handling for 4.95$ i didn’t even realize they had charged me 14 days after their “trial period” until I received a package in the mail with a new moisturizer(a month later), and i looked on my bank statement and found a random charge for $89 that I didn’t know who it was from. I called it and the guy who answered said customer service and when i asked what business i was calling he said a skin cream and weight loss pills! So then i tell him i didn’t know this was a subscription and i want my money back and he said he can’t refund the 1st charge and can only refund 50% of the second charge! After I told him it was a scam he tells me i should of read the terms and conditions, ***hole. I reported it to Better Business Bureau. I’m just so upset! I will call my bank tomorrow and dispute the charge.

Another scam for 14 day trial. I fell prey to it. Grrrr. Ordered cream and eye serum on 7/30/18, received on 8/15/18 (the 16th day) and then was charged $88.87 and $89.03. I did call in and was told that because I did not cancel within 14 days, I was charged the two amounts. Apparently, the information was in the terms, however, I did not receive a confirmation email of my purchase with ANY of those terms. I was told that I could only get a partial refund of $120.00. I agreed so that I could receive the cancellation emails and then called my bank to dispute and replaced my credit card. The phone number is 844-814-8531.

Products: Jeune Fleur Face Cream & Eye Serum

    • Lorie

I just went through the same thing. I had no confirmation or phone number. My credit card company said it is fraud and I’m getting new card and hopefully all my money back. Awful company .

  • Sandy

Some free trial….never saw the faded, very tiny writing at the bottom of the email advising I would have to pay for “FREE” items beyond shipping. The fraud department at my bank advises this is “shady” however it is “legal.”

I’ve already seen VitaSilk in several recent posts here with different phone numbers. The one that was provided in my confirmation email is 1-866-994-5643. I’ve tried some of the other numbers listed here for VitaSilk and you get the same recording with no response. I’ve left messages with no response.

Bank advises they have 3 to 5 business days to respond to my many voice mails after which I can dispute the charges to my card. Unfortunately, unless someone responds back from VitaSilk so I can cancel their “subscription”, my only other option is to cancel the card.

Thank you for sharing this information!

ESSENCE PH EYE and ESSENCE PH SKIN (844) 747-9020 and (844) 747-9021

I too was SCAMMED. I received an phone call saying that they needed to complete my order. I called “Customer Service” the same day that I placed the request to try the product. I was told that I needed to commit to a monthly order or a three month supply in order to receive the “TRIAL”. i told them that i was not committing to ANYTHING and to cancel the whole thing. I no longer wanted to receive the TRIAL. The guy I talked to assured me that my account would not be charged.
Needless to say, i received the product in the mail and my account was credited for the shipping cost. I now show 2 much larger charges for a monthly supply of the product. I immediately called the “Customer Service” and told them what had happened. She (Jasmyn) told me that I did not call and cancel before the 14 day trial was up and I was obligated to pay the charges. She said that she has proof that I placed the order and that they show no record of me talking to anyone. I was livid !!!
She offered to give me a 25% discount, then a 50% discount, then a 75% discount. I told her that I was not paying the charges. I was going to report to my bank that this was a scam and that I was calling the BBB. She then, said that she would put in a request for a full refund and it would take 3 days. —I received a Cancellation email within seconds and also my bank account showed a full refund within minutes. I told her that I better not have anymore issues from this account. I am so skeptical of EVERYTHING already, but this just proves that you can never be too careful.

Add to your list. Phone numbers are bogus and can’t cancel free trial in the 14 day window. Only recourse is to cancel credit card.

    So Far So Good

I ordered from Jeune Fleur Skin Cream 7-23-18. I called today to cancel. 844-814-8531 I spoke to someone immediately and was given an RMA # to return the item. They also sent me an email with the RMA#. I plan on putting it in the mailbox tomorrow. I have to pay the shipping both ways. I am just going to pay and not argue just because I don’t want to have to go to war with this company. Who knows, this might be the needle in the haystack, The Good Guy?!?Maybe? I sure hope so.

    • Steph

Thank you for this information and phone number! I called today to cancel. He was very polite, gave me cancellation and refund confirmation numbers. When I asked if I should return the unused product he said no, that they don’t want me to have to pay for shipping for something that’s not working/not wanted.

  • Lisa

Hi there! If you call back, tell the floor super, you are and will report them to the BBB, Consumer Protection Advocates, etc…maybe that will help?

ordered a trial of Vitasilk and was charged $119,95 on my credit card. I’ve been trying to reach them at 1-855-315-8037. I’ve read your article and will call my bank to try and cancel & explain to them it’s a fraud… I will also try to find out where to report this fraud here in Canada. I hope to get my refund, l don’t earn a good salary and I’m scared they will charge me again.

    • Pat

I fell for this. I did call Vitasilk at 866-991-4195. Cancelled the order. Shortly after I ordered the product I had a Unicef charge for $10.00. Then a KIWI.com charge of $647.83. Neither of them were authorized by me. They test the card with a small charge like UNICEF donation then hit you with a larger one like the KIWI.com. Make sure when you cancel you get their name, Time of call, confirmation number and date. I also got a confirmation by email. My bank reversed both the shipping charges for me and the fraud department is working on the others. Unfortunately I have to get a new card too.

    • Myrna

Me too. Call your bank they will put you through to their fraud department and cancel the charges. I am with RBC and they were very helpful.

  • Lou Ellen Jones

I just got the $4.95 free sample, just pay shipping scam. I cannot find a phone number or valid site because it is listed as Advertisement/Order Only. The company is Essence PH Eye(Revitalizing Eye Lift Serum) and Essence PH Skin ( Hydro Renewal Creme). Please add them. The “free trial” was $86.00 and change for each product. No invoice sent. No company number anywhere on packaging. The bank does not even have the 1-800 number on their info. I am filing a dispute with my bank and have to cancel my card to file the dispute. Thanks for getting this out there. I wish I had found this site earlier.

Hi Lisa! I can’t BELIEVE I am in the process of what you are going through. Your situation is a carbon copy! I was on the phone an hour with them last night, and so far, have been several hours this A.M.on the phone, website, bank and the CC card co. What a headache and nightmare this has been! I made a one-time “trial” size purchase of $4.99 and was billed two separate times for $89.95 and $88.98 respectively.
There seems to be a thread of “commonality” with respect to “Purely Organic” of deception, fraud and deceit. To me, unless you have something to hide, why be deceptive, defensive and deceitful? Why not have full disclosure? As I talked to them they were nasty, defensive, and continued to get more aggressive with me the more I demanded corrections to my account with the return of my money.. Upon speaking to their Supervisor, “Felicia,” it was very CLEAR that she was not going to rectify the situation. “Too bad” was her attitude. Sad, sad situation. That’s how they make their money…through deceptive practices such as this! They record our conversations and take our information, and give nothing back in return; how do they lay their heads down on their pillows at night and get a good sound sleep? They must get GREAT commissions for doing their jobs! Lord help them.

I just got scammed by Vita Silk. I ordered the sample face and eye cream for $4.95 s/h charge. Now 14 days later I have a $119.95 charge for “wowtmuscle.com” I had no idea what this was so I looked it up online and it’s some kind of supplement from a company in England. So I went back to the order confirmation letter I got from Vita Silk and when I got to the bottom in faded, tiny print was the message about “Diet Plus” that would be mailed to me and if I didn’t cancel in 14 days they would charge my account. I didn’t receive any diet pills, only the face cream. The company that charged me for the face cream is the wowtmuscle company. So now I’m on hold at my bank trying to get the charge reversed. I also reported the lot of them to the anti-fraud centre and sent all three companies notice that I am reporting them to the fraud department at my bank, visa and the Better Business Bureau but I’m sure it won’t matter to them, they will just go on stealing from people. so maddening.

I would like to add prime bloom 1-866-201-1963 and peraglow same number. I had an intercepted ad while reading online for the free trial with paid shipping. Nowhere does it say anything about how long the tial is or how much they charge after the fact. I feel so ripped off. Just paid over $100 american….

  • Sandy

Do you know anything about Prime Derma? Do you have their phone number? If you do, please send via email. Thanks so much. I didn’t see the phone number on your list. I cancelled the $5.95 offer. I was not given a confirmation number or anything, so I am concerned.

Sandy, I’ve heard of it, I would keep a close eye on your bank account to make sure they don’t continue to charge you. Get your bank involved if so. If you still have a phone number, I would call back and demand they send you a cancellation confirmation while you’re on the phone. Good luck! Rachel

It’s called Vita Silk eye serum and it was advertised as a shark tank product….any way u have the number for it

  • John

not sure who my wife ordered from but the initial charge for shipping and 1st reoccurring charge showed on my statement as Ngoskinformula 877-269-6996 Nv and Ngoeyeformula 877-290-8678 Nv
next charge was simply ngo media, no phone number and for a higher amount. the 877-269-6996 number worked and they asked how the trial was and offered a ton of discounts before finally cancelling both. gave me cancellation numbers that i don’t have confidence in. Talked to bank and they disputed the charges and after talking with fraud, suggested closing account and getting new cards.

How many fraud claims does it take before the credit card companies deny them a merchant account? Seems to me the credit card companies are complicit in the scam billing scheme.
Finally, scammers are now offering you a 50% credit if you don’t report them to credit card cos. 50% OF $95 great profit margin for nothing

  • Karyn

Add Dr. Denese Skin Science to your list since their business practices are designed specifically to RIP-YOU-OFF. Everything about this experience is designed to deceive you by getting “installment” payments out of you for a bill that you paid-in-full, with unclear explanations, and to keep you on the hook for an unlimited time by continuing to supposedly deliver products to you that you did not order. Dr. Denese Skin Science may be skirting the line of legality – but make no mistake – their goal is to take your money by deceptive means.

I saw Dr. Denese Skin Science’s special offer on TV. They offered a selection of skin care products for the seemingly reasonable price of $59.95. Everything from the advertising to the online purchase indicated that the price for their 7-piece, 90 day collection was $59.95 – period. They refer to it on their website as “Our Best Offer,” and say “Maximum Results Collection Reg $190,” with a line through the $190, another indication that you were getting the package for $59.95. I ordered the package and they delivered.

Then much to my surprise, I started getting regular bills from Dr. Denese Skin Science. By some lucky accident, the credit card I originally used was lost and therefore cancelled, so they did not get the chance to pull their scam on me, but it could still hurt my credit. I was clear that I had paid the $59.95 that I agreed to pay. So when I got their “Priority Message” from their “EXPRESS RESPONSE DEPARTMENT” with “RESPONSE REQUIRED,” a collection notice telling me that I owed an adidtional $119.90, I called. I knew immediately that I was onto a scam when they said, “You got the 90-day supply and you only paid for the first 30 days. The bill is for the next 60-days.” WHAAAT??!!

Dr. Denese Skin Science RIPOFF ARTISTS continue to assert that I own them an additional $119.90 for a product for which I was 100% CLEAR that I agreed to pay and paid $59.95. And for all their “explanation” of their business model online, while they continued to bill me TWICE for a bill I had already paid, the NEVER delivered any additional product.

So here’s the deal: sign-up for Dr. Denese Skin Science and you will be billed 3 times what you thought you agreed to and at some point in this vaguely defined process, they will deliver you more product for which you will be billed 3 times what you never agreed to, and if you don’t put a stop to it, the Dr. Denese Skin Science RIPOFF ARTISTS will milk you dry!!!

  • Joyce

I ordered the free trial for Dr. Oz face cream, there was
nothing on the add that stated I only had 14 days to cancel anything so I thought that if I liked the product that I would have to contact them to order more at the regular price but then I got my bank statement today and there is a $119.92 dollar charge for another order plus three other charges to my checking account from them $6.95 – $4.95 and $2.95 for shipping and handling of the free samples. I called them at the
1-844-513-7326 number and they told me to send the samples back to P.O. Box 7109 even though I had used
some of it and they would refund the 119.92 when they received the sample product back, in the mean time I am
now over drawn on my checking account and they said to
bad that wasn’t their problem. I have talked to the band about this and they said that it isn’t fraud and the only way to stop the charges is to cancel the Debit
card and they would issue a new one and they would flag
the account in case they try to charge it again.
We are 76 years old and it seems like everyone is out
to cheat us in anyway that they can, I suppose it was silly to order the samples in the first place at our age but even though we are old we sort of want to look our best once in awhile, I already have other problems, I have breast cancer, the Chemo did not let my hair grow back, so on top of everything else I have not hair,I have to have a Masectomy bra, a wig and I thought maybe at least I might make my face look a litte better, actually I am not that wrinkled for my
age, my skin is just very dry because of the Chemo and I thought that cream would help, How stupid can I be to trust that company, Good Old DR. OZ right !!

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Joyce, I’m so sorry this happened to you on top of everything else! Make sure you don’t have any additional charges. If you were billed more than one s&h fee, they may have signed you up for multiple free trials. These scammers use Dr. Oz’s name to sell their bogus creams, he actually is not involved. It’s appalling they get away with this, especially with the elderly. I hope you find resolution. Best of luck to you! Rachel

First of all thank you for your blog. I am not on Facebook but came across yours when looking for help regarding what I figured was a scam and mess I got myself into. I ordered a sample of face cream from Youth Skin Forever, out of Quebec Canada which I didn’t know at the time. Of course I receivced the one and only small sample and then noticed two charges on my credit card for $89.94 and $94.88. I immediately contacted my CC company and had the charges reversed which they did. However next month two more charges, and again reversed. Now the company sent their information and now back again I am dealing with trying to cancel this mess. I have read your steps to follow however having trouble contacting the company as all of their information goes no where. Let me know if anyone has dealt with this company and I will proceed with the steps and again contact my CC company to see if they can give me any information on how to contact them. Will keep you posted and will inform you of any info received that we can add to the list! Thank you again

  • Barbara

Here’s another one to add to your list
    Vitasilk 1-866-944-5643
They add all kinds of crap to your account that you didn’t order. Tried to cancel within 12 hours but they told me no until I got my credit card company involved. They are nasty people.

Colleen, I reported Purely Organics to North Carolina Department of Justice because if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck it is a duck. This is a scam to gets people’s money. This company is not legit. I will cooperate fully to get this scam stopped. I think the owner may be Colleen Jorgensen. It is very difficult to research and of course as we’ve all experienced the company is not forth right. I wish you the best.

Sunny, the number for Glamor Gold Retinol Face Cream is 844-883-6640. The charge on my bank account said AntiAgeDerma 844-883-6640 same number same company. They did reverse a pending charge now waiting to see if they refund me the other charge.

  • Shirley

Liva Derma retinol face cream 844-303-4065

When I asked to speak to supervisor she asked why. I said to discuss business practices and she said the wait would be long but one could call me back. I canceled the account, but as of now they still have my money. 😡

  • Sue Hillrich

I ordered a “free trial” of Anti Age Derma. Free trial is not free! After you pay the $4.94 s/h you are billed monthly. I saw a $94.88 charge on our checking account as pending and when I looked further down the list found another charge on June 22nd for $89.94. I immediately call the number listed in the charge summary 844-883-6640. Was told I had 14 days to cancel my subscription. Told her I never saw a subscription in their terms and I demanded they cancel my subscription as I did not authorize it, demanded a full refund of pending transaction of $94.88. She said she could refund 75%, I told her no that was not acceptable I wanted 100% refund and I wanted 100% refund of $89.94 from June 22nd. She said she could only give me 75% I said no that was unacceptable I demanded 100% refund. And she had better cancel my subscription! I told her that their actions were totally fraudulent and plus if you have a monthly subscription why they don’t send their products out? She asked if I wanted her to send me my shipment? I said NO I want her to cancel my subscription in full and demanded a full refund of both charges and asked for a confirmation number or email. She said I’d get an email but after looking I never got any email from them. So I made her give me her name and spell it for me plus she gave me her agent #. I immediately called my bank, explained what had happened and the lady was very nice. Told me first to try and call the company and cancel everything. I told her I had just done that and demanded they give me 100% refund of both monthly charges and that I was going to dispute the charges as fraud. The bank agent said the company had just reversed and deleted my pending transaction and I should wait 3-5 days to see if they refund the June 22nd charge of $89.94. She said maybe they will follow through since the pending charge had already been reversed and deleted. So I will keep checking my bank account for the other credit. If I don’t see it in 5 days I will call my bank back and dispute the June charge.
DO NOT BUY ANTI AGE DERMA!! 844-883-6640

You may want to add Skin Flow and Final skin Phone No. 1855 306 5954. They have misleading ad for a free sample. They charge the postage and then send you the real product instead of a sample and then charge the full amount for the product and if you don’t cancel they keep sending the same product each month. I returned the second shipment to:

    P.O Box 1108 North York Ontario M3J 0L2.

There is no company name. If you google skin flow /final skin you will see their ad.

    Hi Carol,
I also bought “the trial” for Purely organics, but they charged me a $2.49 fee in addition to the two $4.95 fees, they said it was the “membership fee”…i ordered on June 6, received my shipment on 12th, on 17th my card was ‘pending a charge of $89.95’..i didnt see it until the 21st. (I usually look at my snail-mail copy, )for some reason i looked online, called the company immediately!! NO REFUNDS…U SHOULD HAVE READ THE AGREEMENT! We will refund you the $2+…the first rep i spoke to didnt know or (acted like a moron) about the ‘restocking fee’ IF a person sends a product back..i told her she really needs to study what shes ripping ppl off & how!!
I was fuming mad!! 2nd call, i was promised my full refund..and wrote name confirmation email down…
3rd call…this girl had no clue!! I pretty much knew what to say & WAS getting $$$ back…at least some of it! She put me on w/a Floor Supervisor.. i had to find my previous notes, she was insistant on the girls’ name i had spoken to the 2nd time..or 0 back!
Finally..as she said..there isnt anything we can do, it IS a legit charge…i saod the girls name w/the email she gave me!!!! Ha!!!
She offered me 35%refund..which i knew was all i was going to get..i took it!! I received an email within 10 mins confirming this..& the $$ was back in my acct the very next day!!!!
    They’re awful to deal with!!
I also reported to the PA BBB, & Office of Attorney General, /Bureau of Consumer Protection..they need more info, which i will happily provide what i have & can obtain on here!
    Best Wishes,
    Lisa in PA

I made a purchase of Cosmedique and was scared that there’s a lot of scams over the internet and I will be one of them that when you tried to call them you will directed with a different company. I immediately call the number stated on their website and gladly, the number is working and I spoke with their representative. I then surely confirm that this company is legit. I was really scared of this scam thing. They have an email and phone customer service which I’m glad that I may be able to reach them.

  • Chris Camm

First of all, thank you for all your hard work compiling the list of companies and phone numbers.
    Here’s another number:
    888-312-9545
    Company name:
    1. Lumineri Eye
    2. Lumineri Skin.
    Websites:
    1. shinyeyelook.com
    2. shinyskinlook.com
Of course, there are no websites. If you search these web addresses, you are directed to sites about how to get rid of shiny skin, etc.
During the cancellation process, my customer service representative tried to get me to change my mind by:
    1. Telling me that his mother had used it for a while and her skin was wonderful and why would I not want skin like hers.
    AND
    2. Asking me if the cancellation had anything to do with money. If so, he could apply his employee discount to my monthly subscription.
I did as you suggested and asked for a confirmation of cancellation email. I also asked for his name. He gave me his first name, the first letter of his surname and HIS EMPLOYEE NUMBER!!!
    Hope this helps other people

Purely Organic Cosmetics phone number 855-412-3133
I ordered this for the 14 day trial that states you can TRY for 14 days. I haven’t had it for 14 days and I find two charges on my bank account for 88.98 and a second charge of 89.95!! I called them to complain and demand a refund. They offered me up to 75% off on “future orders” I said no, I want the current charges refunded. They claim them tell you about the 14 day trial includes the mailed time. This made me furious. After me making demands of refunds the gave me 50% off the two charges, which I finally took after calling them 3 times. So I got 50% of the initial subscription charges and canceled said subscription. This thing cost me $89.47 PLUS the 4.95 x 2 . What a RIP!!!!im going to call the Attorney General and report this scam!

Hello ladies! (and gents) I regret I did NOT put the cancelation reminder on my calendar. That is my “usual” whenever I accept any FREE TRIAL which rolls into a monthly charge..I always cancel in time. HOWEVER, this one was for 10 days, come on! I barely received the item.

    Nonetheless, Here’s the skinny
855-412-3133 is their number on my banking statement for the S&H I incurred for the “FREE PRODUCT”
I spoke with Simone who DID cancel further charges HOWEVER was wheeling and dealing even down to the monthly cost only being 25% of their original fee…I said, HMMM If your product is so good why would you UNDERSELL it? And THEN I asked for a total refund on the NEW SHIPMENT (not yet received) because (yes, i DID NOT cancel in time)…but, give me your supervisor, the physical address and the correct website address. Simone says the supervisor will have the same information and I said, nonetheless, I would LIKE to speak with someone or write a letter. SO…she puts me on hold..goes back and says she will offer a 35% refund on the two charges $88.98 and $89.95. I said I will gladly take that and please, STILL give me the address and ph# and website.
    855-412-3133 and

    refund page

    physical address:

for the refund and I pray I will receive it ASAP (3-5 days) per their policy. I hope this will help others. I am NOT the usual fall for a scam kinda chick…my bad for not canceling ASAP! That’s what I usually do to prevent scenarios such as this

    Hi Rachael!!
Thank you so much for sending me your Ebook, i appreciate that!!! As well as your recent exfoliating recipe, i cant wait to try that!!
I have guess you could say ‘acne’ or Folliculitus x 14 years, it started after i handled my things rmthat were stored in my former landlords badement. There was a foul odor coming up to my apartment thru the sewer areas & under the sink in bathroom. He denied this for months, finally i had my HUD Inspector come look.. sure enough, sewage was coming in from the neighbors basement!! (My landlord had a list of repairs HUD wanted done, he failed to tell me he was selling the property & was trying to “get me out” as cheaply for him as possible, he had these neighbors harass me x8 months prior to beong forced by HUD to relocate within 23 days w/no assistance. (Having my SSI as my income, less than $700/monthly at that time.
Dont get me wrong..i dont complain about my income, or the gove/state..which provides me w/these things..because i honestly need them to survive on my own, and appreciate & respect what i do have & receive!!
I have been to a dermatologist that tried different creams & endless antibiotics.. my Family Doc, as well. My skin has gotten so scarred.. & tough, ppl stare i even got asked “if i have the Michael Jackson disease?”. I kinda wanted to go off on that guy..but didnt speak my mind 10-12 yrs ago.. now…lol, my toungue & i arent on same page at times!! Ha!!
If you could suggest anything else. ..please do???
Or anyone?? Have a great weekend!!

Hi..hope u all had a nice July 4th!! I have another update on my scam, i called ‘Purely Organic’ again, (their reps must not be trained well, this girl simply told me I would have to speak w/her Supervisor, ..EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!!!! 😊 She questioned me about WHO i spoke to & how they authorized a refund, ..i hesitated..(being far from organized, i found my notes from my previous call, Alexis even gave me an email confirmation ##…This Floor Super offered me a 35% refund. .i took it..& i asked her IF she knew how many reports have been filed w/the BBB & Consumer Protection Agencies about their scams??…she said “just because u feel that way, doesnt make it a scam, or a non-legitimate charge, you will be arrested for making fraudulent claims on ur credit card, if you say u didnt agree to our terms.”
I did receive a confirmation email ..so i will see if any $$ is refunded on my card!

I also was at a medical website & up pops this..”Kelly Ripa tells the truth finally”!!…and its the same ad.. same pics…only the name & location have changed. “TRYBELLAIRESKIN.COM” located in Las Vegas, NE..PHONE ## 855-594-3351.

I found out that I have been a victim of the scam this Wednesday by receiving my Mastercard bill (the “samples” had been ordered around May 24 and there was no invoice in the package indicating the actual price or electronic invoice once I placed the “sample” order). I called my credit card company right away to contest the charge (by then I did not know that a second charge had been made) and it was clear that the employee I spoke to knew more about that kind of scheme then me. Since then, I have talked to two more senior employees (fraud and transaction contestation) and were also both very knowledgeable about such scheme, but they are also not willing to help me. I am in Canada and in view of the fact that the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police has declared such scheme a fraud) I am appalled that Mastercard cannot do more. It is apparently the same with VISA. Is anybody aware of a class action procedure against any credit card company on the basis of collusion of credit card companies in the States or in Canada?

Also, I received a second shipment of the products. Since then I have cancelled the order through Skin Flow and Final Skin and received confirmation by email. Has anybody shipped the products back at that point to the PO Box address that came with the shipment. Again, there was no invoice and no company name.

This kind of scheme is clearly created to steal from women. If it was aimed at men and worked at such scale, don’t you think the issue would be solved faster?

I think that it is through solidarity that we will work this out.

  • Phoebe K

Hi Bruce, I was sorry to read how you were taken advantage of. The same thing almost happened to me with a cream supposedly endorsed by the Shark Tank. It turned out the scammers were illegally using copyrighted material (stars from The Shark Tank and The Shark Tank logo) to perpetuate their scam. This is a common practice among these scam artists. Zuckerberg most likely had nothing to do with this scam. They just used his name to make their scam seem legitimate.

  • Marissa

I’d like to cancel my luxe Revival cream. I really can’t afford it. So is there any way to cancel my order for good?

  • bruce

i ordered the new chan/zuckerberg face cream, they also included and charged me for the eye cream (essencia) free trial (paid shipping for both). the trial date passed by two days and i was billed $94.00. i called 844 608 9649. the agent i spoke to told me i would receive a 50% discount. considering that offer insufficient, as i wanted a 100% refund, i asked to speak to a supervisor. natalie #417 said they would not accept a return or refund my money. she would not connect me with her manager and hung up ending the call with “have a blessed day!” i immediately contacted my financial institution, filed a fraud claim and canceled my card to avoid further charges. it concerns me that a couple (chan/zuckerberg) worth $500 billion dollars would not refund $94.00 to a person who simply wanted a “free” trial of their product. there was nothing on the receipt in the package about canceling within 14 days. i was told it was on their website. i know this is a site for women but, even some men care about their skin. i certainly did not expect this type of treatment from a fledgling company of such notoriety.

I emailed the appropriate ‘cancellation email’ i received a computer generated email in response, asking me to call & speak to a Representative. I did that..she obviously didnt know about their “restocking fee” along w/a refund.
She said there is “NO SUCH THING”..and u could hear other ppl laughing..THAT made me mad!!
I didnt catch her name, or grrrr!! I usually keep my cool in these situations, but im rebuilding my credit, and $100 to me is alot of money!! (Very limited income!)
2nd call 2/26, the Alexis said they posted the refund to the wrong address & it will be done, 5-7 days. I asked for a Confirmation ## & email…as they sent me on the 21st; she have me some numbers that have nothing to do w/my account, ref ##, customer ##, my address, AND their addresses are different on Credit card is High Point, NC..on product & shipping label is Greensboro, NC. PH ## same 1-855-412-3133.
She offered to refund the whole $2.49 back!!! SERIOUSLY??!!??
I have reported this company to my STATES ATTORNEYS GENERAL OFFICE; BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (PA & NC!!)is coming up but i have to dispute these charges w/my Credit card company, it has to be very detailed & hand written.

Thanks for reading & if this helps 1 person…i am thankful!!
    Best wishes to everyone..

I just received my package from Skingenics. After reading about all the people that were scamed,I just couldn’t believe it. I’m afraid I am also being scammed. I am a bit ahead of them ,so I’ll start my calling who I have to.I have a phone number, where it takes me is another story.

  • Silvana Fox

I fell for a scam. It was for Vitasilk. I found a number and called to cancel. Got my confirmation email and they even refunded a small amount however I JUST received another bottle. I immediately called them and they assured me there wouldn’t be another charge and my account was indeed cancelled. We shall wait and see I guess. If you would like their number let me know. I didn’t see it on your list.

have phone for Glamor Gold–Superbeautiful face cream 1-844-839-5045 and for
Glamor gold- Retinol Eye Serum 1-844-789-6650.
I ordered trial sample or so I thought and then was charged 84.97 for each one. I have cancelled but they will not refund money as they said I had to pay for the product was not a trial sample. I will not be falling for anymore of these shams. Hope this helps others.

Thanks so much for the number. But, I feel compelled to add . . this free trial Nu Youth may also be associated with a “scam” computer protection service attempting to “sell” a contract. As soon as I hit “submit’, bells and whistles went off on my laptop and my computer was locked up. A message displayed on my entire laptop presumably from Microsoft’s computer protection service indicating that I had been hacked and I needed to call number on screen for customer service. Long story and I was quite tired and got myself out of contributing money to their bank account.

Generally, I never access websites that are not secure (https).

Take heed everyone – hacking is everywhere.

I didn’t see InstantElixir on your list. Their number is 1 888 409 4430. They have a great scam going with a “free” trial which as you can guess isn’t a free trial after I was charged $89. Don’t fall for it, like I did. I called and cancelled on the 14th day of the “trial” once I realized what they were doing but no luck getting a refund. I did dispute with my bank and got a new card issued. Never did I see the terms they speak of nor did I see this agreement in writing thereafter. It’s a shame businesses think this is the way to do business. Should have looked here first!

Avila Skin Care, phone # (877) 948-7683. It showed up on my charge card as “DJJEFFY*GetAluantiWS8779487683.” I was charged $98.41 exactly 14 days after I was charged $4.95 for shipping my “free” AVILA Serum Trial. They canceled my account and won’t charge me further, but they refused to refund the $98.41. I am working with the Fraud and Dispute Departments of my credit card to overturn the charge. The company is NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and NONE of my web browsers could access the website.

Hey there! I also fell for this “kelly ripa leaving morning show & look how young she looks” u can look THIS GOOD!! HA!!
    NOWHERE did i read u must cancel within 14 days..also, i was charged $4.90, $4.95 & $2.95 –ohh a sign up fee.. then today a $89.95! Hells bells!!!! (Sorry)
I sent my cancellation notice, i received an email stating to call them..i did, out of ALL the fees…this Sales Rep offered to refund me the $2.90!!!! Are you kidding me???
She wouldnt tell me ‘when’ my next cream would arrive, or couldnt..i was pretty hot by this point..told her..i certainly hope its lined in GOLD!!!
The thing that hot me so pissed..is im on a very limited income ($775/monthly) & live alone..so this was like a ‘special treat’ for me! Plus at 54..i might have wanted to look 35 again?!? Lol
I certainly will file a complaint w/every single organization i am able to!!!
Has anyone started any “class action lawsuits”..?? I dont know if thats an option..however, if so..count me in!!
Thanks for having this website..this is a wealth of info..i appreciate it!!

Another “Shark Tank” approved product for $4.95 S&H: Essence PH. You get the Eye Cream & the skin cream but pay separate S&H. Nowhere is it mentioned that there’ll be $86.95 & $89.95 billed but 12 days later, there it was. Low and behold, other unauthorized charges started showing up the same day as well (Amazon, Starbucks, etc). I’ve disputed this with my bank but need to further call and demand a refund as my bank stated it was a temporary refund.

The insert with the products has this info:
Essence PH Skin- (844) 747-9020 or [email protected]
Essence PH Eye- (844) 747-9021 or [email protected]

Oddly enough, the charges from my bank are from GentleSkin Eyerestore: (877) 631-3228 for both charges ($89.95 & $86.95).

I’m calling all three numbers tomorrow and have already canceled my card. I emailed and am waiting on a response.

On May 31, 2018 I noticed an unauthorized chg on my online bank statement. I immediately called my bank branch manager. He backed out the chgs the same day. The next day the chg appeared again. I called the branch mgr again and he turned it over to the Dispute Resolution dept. After a week or 2 they contacted me and said they found it to be an authorized charge. This cannot be true I have never heard of this company nor ordered or rec’d any pdt from them. They told my bank that I would have to PROVE my cancellation. I cannot provide such proof because there was never an order made by me. I have expressed this to my bank. Why do I have to PROVE a purchase or cancellation??? Shouldn’t they have to prove the PURCHASE? I never rec’d an email purchase confirmation or shipping info as I do with other purhases. I also did not receive an email from my bank as I do when I make any purchase over $50.00. I have cancelled my card and rec’d a new one. Reported to FTC….BBB and State Atty office. Also looking for more websites to post on. I am so Angry! This is NOT a case of ordering or receiving a product…..This is out right THEFT!!! Bank is reopening dispute.

Yikes Rita! So sorry… sometimes I feel like most of the banks don’t help their customers at ALL! And I’ve seen people cancel their cards only to receive a collections letter months letter. It’s crazy what they get away with. I hope you find resolution, bank should have been able to give you a good number to call these crooks and cancel for good. If they can’t even give you a phone number or help you cancel, that makes me wonder why they uphold their bogus charges. Good luck! Rachel

I was lured into a scam for a free trial size product/just pay s&h, “made by Sandra Bullock.” As of now, I’m not sure if it has a trial period that ends and they’ll charge me….if so, I didn’t read the fine print because I thought it was just a free trial size. Anyway, here is the information I have: The product name is “Reviv Ultime.” The phone number is : (877) 238-1580. The conf email I rec’d said, “This order will appear on your billing statement as Vero Max Pro – S.” The website name is vitalvibranceonline.com.
Luckily I bookmarked the order confirmation page…I just read the fine print. It says that if u don’t cancel in 14 days, they charge u 98.97 for the “free trial” size product!!!! Can u believe this? Omg!
      I can’t believe I fell for this!

Hi Jody, yes unfortunately I can believe it because it happens to hundreds of women every day… I’m sorry they caught you in this scam. Smart to bookmark the page so you had their contact info! Thanks for sharing the info.

I just fell for a trap from Skin Finesse/Next skin. I have tried calling the two numbers provided however an automated operator keeps saying their lines are “busy”. I emailed within 15 minutes of placing the order on [email protected] to cancel it. Have you heard of either of those products?
I feel so stupid falling for this!

I fell for the free trial offer of Instant Elixir Ageless Eye Revitalizer. My USAA credit card had been charged twice before I noticed. Like most people, I did not realize this would happen when I ordered the trial for about 5.00. I was able to get a full refund and want to describe how I did it.

I called 1-888-409-4430 and explained I didn’t authorize any subsequent charges after the trial. Phone rep said I did. I said I wanted refunds for the two charges made after the initial trial. I explained that I would dispute the charges and win. (USAA is great about the dispute process and have been with them for 30 yrs). The conversation morphed several times from 30% refund to 75%, etc. I did not play. I continued to state that I wanted full refunds and that I would win a dispute with my credit card company. At no time did I give any hint that I would accept less. She kept having to “check with her supervisor”, but she was back so quickly that there’s no way she was “checking” with anyone. I got full refunds of both charges and had my email screen open so I could see that I received notice of the refunds. She gave 2 confirmation numbers. I stated during the conversation that the offer was a scam and that experiences like mine were all over the internet.
My advice is DO NOT PLAY, CONTINUE TO INSIST ON FULL REFUNDS, PROMISE TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES, SAY YOU WILL WIN.
Good luck, hope this helps someone.

Instant Elixir – 888-409-4430 “Free Trial” offer turned into a charge of $178 and some change and was told that my “free trial” began the day I ordered even though it took 1 week to get the product. I used the product for, what was 14 days of receiving it and when I called to cancel and get a refund was told I couldn’t because I was past “THEIR” 14 days. They also used false advertising in my opinion by putting their offer with Laura Spenser’s article on her skin care products so it actually makes you think you are ordering Laura’s line in a “free trial.”

My grandmother asked for five bucks to try this product a month ago. The way it was explained was it was five in shipping to try the product, and we had a period to return it if we didn’t like it. I missed that they charged me ten, five per product, and just yesterday I got charged 85 more, called and cancelled, only for them to charge me 90 again today for the other product. The way they have it set up, even if I ha
