Skin Care Free Trials – Cancellation Phone Numbers

Rachel Vrabel Last Updated: November 15, 2017 500

free trial wrinkle creamsHave you been scammed by a free trial? Please read this post!

If you’ve been scammed by a free trial for a wrinkle cream or other anti-aging product online and you’re trying to find a phone number to call and cancel, see my list of phone numbers below (scroll down).

I’ve compiled this list over the last four years or so and have over 500 names and numbers!

Please be advised: I do not promote or sell these bogus free trials on, in fact I warn against them! It is not me who sold you this, and it’s not me who is billing you. Please keep reading….

I am not a cream company, I am a blogger and I wrote this post to help people take the appropriate steps to get out of these recurring, auto-ship arrangements, also know as “free trial scams.”

Take these steps to cancel your free trial:

  1. If the number you’re looking for is not on my list, it means I don’t have it – CALL YOUR BANK FOR THE NUMBER.
  2. Tell your bank to look for the company who billed you the $4.95 S&H fees and any subsequent fees for the creams – it will usually be listed as a different company name than the cream (they do this purposefully to throw you off).
  3. At this point you have two options 1)file an immediate fraud dispute with your bank or credit card company, or 2)try to reach the cream company to cancel the subscription yourself. Sometimes the banks will not cooperate unless you’ve at least “tried” to reach them, sometimes they’ll do a three way call with you.
  4. If you do get the number, call the cream company and request that they cancel your subscription immediately.
  5. DO NOT give them your credit card number to search for your order – only give them your email or address to search.
  6. BE TOUGH – Do not take no for an answer, and don’t let them talk you into any discounts, or extending your free trial. If you get the runaround, ask to speak to a supervisor.
  7. Ask for a confirmation email of your cancellation, so this way you’ll have proof to show your bank if they continue to charge you.
  8. You can try to ask for a refund, but if you’re past the 14 day free trial period, unfortunately they usually don’t give refunds. They may offer to give you a 30% or a 50% refund if you mail the cream back to them. It’s certainly worth a try.
  9. If they are not cooperative (which they generally aren’t), threaten to report them to the BBB and your state’s attorney general’s office if they do not comply. Reporting them regardless of the outcome is a good idea, we need to fight back.
  10. If you can’t find a phone number to call them, you have no other choice but to dispute the charges with your bank or credit card company.

Help me grow this phone number list so we can fight back!

If you have numbers that I’m missing, please share by leaving a review or comment down at the very bottom with the name of the cream and the phone number. I’d love to make this list grow to help others who have been scammed!

I do appreciate your emails, but rather than send me an email, share this blog post to Facebook instead (copy and paste the URL) and warn your friends, family and neighbors. Raising awareness seems to be our only line of defense against these crooks!

Would you also please take a moment to like my Facebook Page? My recent CBS interview on wrinkle cream scams will be airing sometime in October and I’ll be sharing the story there!

Q: Just signed for free trial of Facial Revive - is this a scam too? -Donna

A: Donna, yes Facial Revive is a scam in my opinion. They\'re going to bill you about $90 on day 14 when the free trial is up. Day 1 is the day you ordered. All of the Facial Revive websites are flipping to new wrinkle cream scams, mostly the Coal Cream, which is just another scam. I can\'t find a phone number for Facial Revive since they\'re already furiously changing up their websites to new links. I would call your bank and see if they have a number on the back end. Or look at your bank online and look for that small $4.95 or so s&h fee. They bill under different company names but there may be a phone number listed. Or file a fraud dispute with your credit card company if you don\'t have any luck finding the phone number. Good luck. ~Rachel

Q: i was scammed by derma fixa for 195.48.ive been trying for over a week to get a refund but they on ssi and ss so i certainly cant afford 195.00 monthly. im going to my bank today to try and get helpbut im so afraid they will try to take money again next month. they left me with nothing this month. will i have to worry about this? they supposedly closed the account but i dont trust them. -janey

A: Janey, I\'m so sorry about this. Definitely file a fraud dispute with your bank and if I were you, I would ask the bank to open a new account for you and close the other one. But be sure and file the fraud dispute along with that. Also be sure that you\'ve cancelled your ongoing subscription which it sounds like you did. Did they send you an email confirmation that they\'ve cancelled? Good luck, Rachel

Q: Ordered a trial of Reversaderm and immediately After I ordered knee something was not right. I called back to cancel and they won't let do I get out of this? Cancelled my credit card and reported it as fraud. There was a shark tank ad for it and it's never been on that show. Very deceiving. How do I cancel if they won't let me? -Stephanie

A: Stephanie, I\'ve heard of these bogus shark tank ads for skin creams. I found the phone number for Reversaderm Skin Care (888)614-9317 and I\'ve added it to my list. Thank you so much for sharing this info with me, and the world! Hopefully someone will see this before they order. What do you mean they won\'t let you cancel? Call them asap and demand to speak to a supervisor and don\'t take NO for an answer. Tell them to cancel your subscription immediately and to send you an email confirmation. Threaten to report to the BBB and your State\'s Attorney General\'s Office. They are bullshitting you saying you can\'t cancel. Gotta play hardball with them. Please try again and good luck! ~Rachel

Q: Is [email protected] a scam website I've just made a mistake by ordering some trail creams I've tried to cancel by calling these numbers 08001422496 and 08000564834 but keep getting the phone put down on me.They also keep replying same email when I tried to cancel by email. What can I do next? -Paula

A: Paula, that\'s an email address not a URL for a website. I can\'t find a cream that matches with that email address on my list. Those don\'t appear to be US numbers are they?? File a fraud dispute with your bank. Do you have any idea what the names of the creams are? ~Rachel

I previously added a comment about Final Skin with their phone number, but it was never added to your list, as I was scammed also for $377.28cad for 2 products, 2nd one Skin Flow I did not order(that was the total after they weren’t pending, it went up) I did a lot of research since I was getting no where with final skin. In response to Linda who is looking for a # for Final>1-866-924-2071, they are from Las Vegas.>1-855-548-0477, they are from London England.>1-877-296-6889, they are from London England also. ( and both have the exact same website page, but different #’s) I had called all those #’s and got no where, they were all very rude to me. I will be reporting them to the BBB.
    Good Luck Linda

I am looking for a phone number to final skin. I have charges on my credit card which I need cancelled. -Linda

A: Linda, call your bank I don\’t think I have that one.

I have an allergy to this skin creme and am trying to cancel it as I have already received another jar. Do you have a customer service phone number for Ephamere Skin, 3983 S. McCarran Blvd #508, Reno NV 89502? I don’t get an answer on the listed number 888-552-9750. Please let me know. I believe this is a scam.

I have a number for you. I cancelled my automatic monthly bill which when I asked was for $89.87 mo. It is for RE:Youth revitalizing moisture and RE:Youth Rejuvenating facial serum. 866-483-7758 (St. Petersburg, FL) I told them that I had a reaction to it and they cancelled the order. Ordered it 11/04/2017 and cancelled 11/15/2017. Thank you for the info or I would have been suckered into this as well.

I don’t have a question. I just wanted to add two new names to this fraud-scam-etc.list.
    UNEEQ SKIN CARE PH.# 1-888-603-8746
MAJIK EYE CREAM PH. # 1-888-603-8762
Both were free samples just had to pay S&H.
I got both as described. Before I had a chance to see if they worked I had an order in the mail. I refused the order and had the post office return the package.
I then found these two ph. numbers. I called and of course they said I was supposed to call and cancel if I didn’t want their product. I didn’t have a chance to see if I wanted more as I hadn’t had the product long enough to see if it worked. (by the way I did use the samples up and they did nothing. I couldn’t see any change at all.) This was advertised on Dr. OZ show. I always felt Dr. OZ was a fraud and now I know for sure he is.
Only res[ponse I got when I called was they refunded a small portion of the cost of the creams and said they had canceled my order.
All of the actors that do those commercials are a fraud too. When things are utterly not true why can’t they do something to the ones that speak falsely.

I would like to warn ANYONE who is thinking of trying out the Lumidaire products that you are most certainly going to be scammed. DO NOT agree to any kind of trial in any way shape or form.
First of all , the products do no what they proclaim, and secondly, if you do not cancel within the time frame of 14 days, which includes the time you ordered – not the time you received the product, you will be paying close to $100 per month – yes – $100 per month for this total scam. I can’t tell you how disappointing it is to know that these people refused to help me. REFUSED! I will not stop until I have my money back !

I ordered 2 samples,Alesse and Envie. I received an e-mail confurmation, then a tracking information, then the product arrived. I immediatly call the # on the packing slip and canceled the auto ship program. I received an e-mail confurmation. My issue was that another 2 products arrived the same day with mo packing slip. I had no confurmation e-mail because I hadn’t ordered the products. I tried the phone numbers on the products and wasn’t in their system. When my bank statement came I had been charged the sample prices. Not being able to cancel the auto ship I had to cancel my card! These companies had tailgated off the first 2 products! If you find a legitemate number for either of these companies, please let me know Thank you Duana

I just cancelled my subscription for Euphoria. I have 2 more phone numbers to add to your list. 855-200-2595 and 888-407-1323. The same guy answered both numbers as I had 2 different order numbers I was afraid he wasn’t being truthful. He said “I just talked to you ma’am, I told you I cancelled both of them”
He wouldn’t give me a confirmation number though, said the order number was the confirmation.
Hope that will be the end of it! Thanks for the information and the good that you are doing!

Thank you for providing these numbers! I managed to contact them. They are based in Singapore. Very aggressive. If you signed up to a sample, they said you signed up for an ongoing membership – it’s in their terms and conditions on their website! I responded that I was never directed to any website or informed of any membership. She said, that’s your responsibility. Unfortunately I had to threaten to get the Australian police involved. They then promised a full refund and I have email confirmation that these transactions are ceased. Thank you for your help!

Radiant Revive 855-633-0203 scammed me out of two charges of 89.99. Saying they were backed by Shark Tank I thought I read all the fine print and was getting a “risk free trial” for shipping costs only. I went to my bank immediately and they found a phone number on the withdrawal and called the company. I then spoke with a woman who said the risk was for “14 days” then they charge you full price, “you checked the box your responsible”. I then told her I would like a refund and she said she would only give me a 35% refund, I told her that was unacceptable and I wanted a full refund, she said she would give me a 50% refund and I again told her I wanted a full refund, She then said well how about I give you no refund. I then went back and said fine to the 50%. I feel so cheated and angry that these people can get away with this. What can we do to stop these people???

Celeste, wow, this infuriates me so I can’t imagine how mad it must have gotten you, sorry. The best way to fight against these crooks is not agree to any short term free trials such as these using their fake celebrity ads. Best way is awareness. I always ask people to share my post and no one does. I even posted it on my personal Facebook page and said “friends and family, please share so your aunts, mothers and grandmothers stop getting scammed” and no one shared it. Education against these scams is our best defense because no one’s doing shit about it. Thanks, Rachel

Thank you Rachel for putting this info together and sharing with all who need it! My elderly mother was scammed by EyeNovela – SkinNovela. She signed up for a “trial” and was charged $95 for months thereafter. She tried cancelling the subscription a couple of months ago but the products and charges continued. I was just made aware of this situation the other day and called to cancel right away. I was given a cancellation # and was told an email of the cancellation would be sent.

I have another scam website and phone number to add to your list. 1-866-924-2071
I ordered a free trial sample of anti-wrinkle cream from them and the cost was $2.85 for shipping. They charged me 4 different times on my credit card for a total of $8.79.Then they charged me twice on my card for a total of $368.46. I called the number and the guy said I never ordered anything from them and they were not finalskin. He also said they do not ship products to Canada, which is where I live. All in all he was in a rush to hang up on me. WARNING..DO NOT ORDER THEIR “FREE TRIAL SAMPLE!! SCAM!!

I have been on an extended holiday, during this time these products listed have been sent to my Post Office mail box,
    1. Tru Allure Facial Serum, email: [email protected] Phone +61-280466480
    2. Nouveau Eye Essence. Email: [email protected] Phone +61-383758703.
I have tried to contact both via email, and have not received a response, also via phone, not listed.
Upon checking my bank statements I have discovered that I have been billed for these items without my knowledge. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have a number for veracell, nuevew, or snapshot. Veracell is the product, nuevew and snapshot is who billed my credit card $89 and $87!! I was sure I read all the fine print before accepting, but obviously there was more than I saw. I have reported to my credit card and cancelled my credit card. I had email confirmations so I responded to those to please cancel and to confirm receipt.
what more can I do? Do you think the bank will insist I pay it?? UGH! what a mess

I, too, ordered the Ama Bella cream and eye care for $4.95 each. I receive the product. I didn’t think it did a whole lot of good so I decided to cancel. Of course I couldn’t find a number but when my credit card statement arrived I was shocked to see a pending charge of $82 plus for each product. Fortunately a number was included on the statement so I called it. I spoke with a pleasant enough gentleman who told me I was two days past the two week trial date and would be responsible for the cost of the product. After arguing for a bit he made me a “special deal of 50% off this shipment (that I had not received yet) and all subsequent shipments), also saying that I was still responsible for payment of the pending shipment. He made me feel there was nothing more I could do so I agreed. After thinking about it overnight I figured if the shipment had not been sent and the credit card had not been charged, then how could I be responsible for it? I called back this morning and talked with a pleasant enough woman and told her as I I did not have possession of the product and my credit card had not yet been charged I wanted it cancelled immediately. She then offered me 75% off this order and all future orders. (Kind of tells you how overpriced it is to begin with!). I told her I did not want this shipment or any future shipment and after a few more special offers she finally conceded to end my shipments immediately. My next step would have been to contact my credit card company but it proved unnecessary. I have learned my lesson and will remember if a deal seems too good to be true it probably is!

Ageless Products (888)-383-7009 or (888)-509-8221 (one from the bank, one from an email).
They sell a trial of LeBeleaux, force you to purchase the skin cream, charge $10.95 AND $39.46 initially. The next month there are two charges for $39.46, one from Ageless Products and one from Quantum Aging. The bank threw out the one for Quantum Aging almost right away, but not the one for Ageless Products. I’m currently going through the process to have the company return the funds to my bank. As soon as they have done that I will return the product, which I had understood was a one-time trial purchase (I even reread the subscription email to be sure, it says nothing about a recurring subscription or charge).

That is the biggest scam amount I have heard of! Was that for 1 product for 1 month? I don’t know how long ago the amount was deducted from your account, but you may be able to get your bank to issue you a new card so the scammers can’t charge any more! I got scammed today and I never get scammed! The hook was Meryl Streep Skin Care Breakthrough from an ad that stated:
(We say goodbye to Meryl Streep) and other celebs and the product is Femora Anti aging Cream and Eye Serum. The page clicks take you into where you pay and nowhere did it describe the possibility of a subscription for more creams even after the Thank you page there was no clue. But I saw in light grey the standard words you find on just about any webpage now a days “Terms and Conditions”. I click and there it described the entire situation I just bought into. More purchases will be charged one for the full price of the samples some $84.00 and then every 28 days or such $97.00 for more of the product. It also states that price changes are up to them… And on and on! I got *3 phone numbers (see at end) one from their “Terms and Conditions” and 2 from my Bank. I had received an immediate phone call from my back when I made this purchase only $4.95 and $3.95 for the 2 samples. I called my Bank back right away and told them what happened and asked them to cancel my credit card right away. Then I drove down to my bank and further explained and asked them to please call the company and “see” If I could back out It all went smoothly and I was issued another Card right then. My banker was sure that we got the person’s name, and a confirmation number. We were told that we would receive an email stating that my order was cancelled. (It’s been 5 hours still no email!) He told me to keep a daily eye on my account, just to make sure that they were not able to get past my Canceled Credit card! WOW! WHEW! I also found (after the fact) that this scam is listed on Snopes dot com, as well.
Here are the Phone numbers to cancel:
First from their “Terms and Conditions” article:
And then my Bank gave me these 2 numbers to call if that did not work:

Thank you Rachel for your site!

For “Only Eyes” to cancel here is the #::

When I ordered Psydosurge this was an add-on item, but Ony eyes can see if you have an “open” account with Psydosurge or not. And if you want to cancel both, you have to do so by calling 2 different numbers. Psydosurge was courteous and helpful, but Ony Eyes was not.

Just ordered trial of Radiant Revive Anti wrinkle serum from a Shark Tank link yesterday. Wish I would have done the research before. Does anyone have the number for this product. From the research I’ve done today I think the same product is being sold under a few different names. Can someone please help me. I feel so stupid right now but there is no way I can let them take more money out of my account I used my debit card to order the $4.95 sample.

I saw an ad on Facebook for Hydrologica which was supposedly a huge Shark Tank success. I started reading there link it provided and days they were only offering 250 trial samples for only the cost of S&H. The eyecream was $5.87 and the face cream was $4.95. You had to pay separately fur the S&H charges. I was charged for those on 8/28 then on 9/13 my card was charged $79.95 from Healthyeye from one address and then also $89.95 from Healthy Glow Advanced from a different address. Now today I was charged again from both places. The card that came with the “free Trial” products says Hydrologica LLC. St Petersburg Florida. and the phone number is 1-888-980-7740. I just called them and it was obviously a call center and the guy was Indian. He said that the website i ordered the stuff from stated there was an auto subscription and i agreed to it. I never saw that or i wouldn’t have ordered it. And i told him that even if that was the case i shouldn’t have been charged for the first month since it was a trial and it started all i had to pay was S&H. But if course he argued and said i was wrong. i demanded he cancel me immediately and that i would be sending the next package back. he said i had to call them when i recieve it to get a return authorization. It’s totally a scam. I don’t have any problems with the real legit companies. they don’t hide the fact that it’s discounted when you enroll in monthly shipments.

Hi Jennifer, sorry you got caught in this…. they charge you the full price on the 14th day when the “free” part of the trial is up. I would try disputing the charges altogether with your bank or credit card company. They may allow you to send it back but they will usually only offer 30% or sometimes 50% refund. If you demand 100% and ask to speak to a supervisor you may get lucky. Good luck! Rachel p.s. thanks for sharing the numbers, I’ll add to my list!

I sent my $4.95 to Lumidaire mid-July after seeing the Sharktank ad. They’ve charged us $90 four separate times since, over a two month period. Thanks to your information, we called our credit card company who immediately cancelled our card, will be reissuing new ones, and are investigating.

Lumidaire is currently disguised as “Youngager” on our credit card bill. The TWO numbers associated with Youngager on our bill are: 877-428-6020 and 866-429-0490.

Tomorrow I will call “Youngager,” cut right to the chase and calmly threaten them with the BBB, our attorney general’s office and the FTC if they don’t close my account and give us a full refund. We’ll see what happens. 🙂

I signed up for a FREE trial of Lumidaire cream which I paid $4.95 shipping. Today I received the products in the mail, with 2 other products that I didn’t order. When I checked my bank account online I saw 3 charges from 3 different companies. I called the number on the box, 877-565-3016, and did talk to a human. I have not removed the protective packaging, I only opened the box, but was told I could not get a full refund for a product I didn’t order and only got a 50% refund. The customer service agent told me they couldn’t accept a return because they could not re-sell the product. I reminded her that I have not opened the original packaging but this fell on deaf ears. I will be contacting my bank to advise them to not allow any future charges from any of these companies. These people need to be put out of business just for their unsavvy business practices and fined for deceiving their customers.

Lumidaire is a scam company. Do not use this product. They charged me $188.38 today after a sample shipment was sent to me last month. No where did I see I would be billed automatically. I called within minutes of the charge today and they REFUSE to REFUND!!! Total SCAM! They said I CAN NOT RETURN it even if it’s not opened! I’ve contacted my bank. Unfortunately I used my debit card, so I’m disputing the charge. Lumidaire said they cancelled the auto shipments. I cancelled my card! This company used Joanna Gaines name to lead me to believe it was her cream I was sampling!!! Now I’m reading Joanna’s name is being scammed in association with this company! CONTACT INFORMATION FOR ATHENO IS THE SAME AS GLOW ETERNAL (included in your list of names); as well as the eye cream they suggest after you click ‘yes’ for the ATHENO cream trial.

I fell victim to their scam a few hrs ago… THANKFULLY, with the help of this blog post, I was able to locate them (this was tricky) and DEMANDED a full refund and cancellation.

    It took me several attempts.
They continually stated that I was not in their system.

Finally, the rep asked me for the first 6 and last 4 numbers of my card & was able to locate my “account” using this information.

I will be cancelling this credit card, stating it is stolen, in case the company decides to sell my information to other companies, as I have heard some do.

Back to the story…At first, the customer service rep stated that she was unable to cancel & that her supervisor wasn’t available, and she pushed that she was a third party, bla bla…
But I DEMANDED and followed the advice given in these posts…i stated that I would be contacting the BBB and I would see to it that their company is shut down if I see or hear ONE MORE thing from this d*** company…she quickly gave in and cancelled the subscription & gave me a full refund & agreed to email me confirmation, as well as provided a confirmation number.

Thank you for such helpful information!!

Yes, you will be charged. I ordered the cream and was told I would pay s/h only for a trial size, then when “checking out”, an eye serum was added to my order and another s/h charge. A few days later, I received the two trial sized products. Yesterday, I happen to read that this was a scam. I looked more it and came across this site. Thank the Lord!! I called the # listed here on this site for LUMINARY REVITALIZING MOISTURIZER. I asked them if my account had been charged for more than the s/h fee of the two trial-sized products. OMG. They had charged my credit card $93.99 for the cream and $93.87 for the eye serum. They said they could not refund me because it was past the two week trial period. I told them this was a scam and I did NOT sign up for a subscription. She offered me a discount. I refused. She offered me a bigger discount. I refused and told her I was calling the BBB today and also reporting them to my state’s attorney general’s office. She immediately said she would refund my cc for 100% of the charges and that I would get a confirmation email within 24-48 hours. We will see. SO thankful for this site and its suggestions and advice!!

Crista, yay!! Good for you for being tough – this is what I tell people in my steps to cancel, just don’t take no for an answer, ask to speak to a supervisor, etc. I’m really happy to hear that they seem to be cooperating. Keep a close eye out for that email and call them back if you don’t get it. You can’t really trust a word they say until they actually do give you a refund. If they don’t, then definitely file a fraud dispute with your credit card company or bank. Let me know if you need a legit skin care recommendation, I’m happy to help. Thanks! Rachel

Hi ! I found an email address and I wrote to them asking them to reply within 24 hours regarding the issue otherwise I would have hired a lawyer . They replied and gave me a number where to call. Furthermore, I asked my bank to close a dispute but in the main time I was able ( after one hour of conflict discussion ) to manage and to cancel the trial and the “contract” ( I never signed ) and to get my money 100% ( the last month ) back. At the beginning they tried to explain to me that I had signed something what is not true and that they can not do anything ; so I got furious and I told them I do not care and I did not signed anything like this and that they are a scam company and that what they are doing is a fraud and if they do not do anything to stop charging my card and to refund my money I will open a dispute against them together with many other people who have been scammed by them. so , after a long discussion they cancelled the ” never signed contract” and they offered me 35 % refund; I said no , I want 100% …blablabla… then it was 50%, 75 % and at least 100% because I kept telling them they are a scam company and I am not the only one person being frauded by them and I do not care and I want 100% back…

Following up on my post I reported them to the BBB who sent them a letter to contact me about this issue. They then sent me an e-mail confirming that thy had cancelled my account. I was one of the lucky ones that caught it in time. I cancelled my debit card so they could not charge me anything more. So i was only out the s/h fee that i paid.

Despite her attempts to give me a discount, I persevered by mentioning BBB & AG. After speaking with her supervisor, they tried to convince me to take a 35% refund, a 50% refund, a 75% refund, all which I refused. Finally they gave me the 100% refund. I ordered the 4.90 trial for Luminary Skin Care. I was charged TWICE– one from NUBODSKIN (1-800-995-7315) and another from HYDRAGLO (1-877-929-6865) In July. Then, on August 9th, just 15 days after I made my order, NUBODSKIN charged me 93.87 and HYDRAGLO charged me 93.79. Then, I was charged twice again on Sept. 12th, 2017. Almost 400.00 down the drain. I am furious. I called both numbers and they had the exact same recording, even though one showed was in CA, and the other in OR. It said “Please call back during normal business hours” and then immediately hangs up. I called my bank and have filed a dispute for all 6 charges. I cannot believe that these same terrible human beings are scamming people like this. I only ordered one trial.. and the products are crap. I just got a box today (this is only one more face and eye cream from the original trail I received in the mail… so I’ve paid for four orders and got one only…) I was confused because I never authorized anyone to keep sending them to me. After some easy research with my bank, we found the fraudulent charges and they immediately cancelled my debit card so they couldn’t charge me anymore. I am going to keep trying these phone numbers until I reach someone. I am going to threaten them with suing/getting a lawyer, reporting to the BBB, and my state’s attorney general. This is a crime and please don’t ever order anything on ANY “trial” online EVER! Has anyone heard any updates about these crooks lately? I can’t even see straight right now I’m SO MAD!

So glad I did research & found your site Rachel. Thank you!
Here’s my story: Just ordered 2hrs ago FREE SAMPLE (shipping charges only) I noticed I was billed for EXPEDITED SHIPPING. Upon providing my credit card info before order was completed, they provided info about eye revitalizing product. I click to view & immediately (without authorization) this product was added to my order without my authorization! I knew something was wrong! Fortunately my credit card company sent an email to confirm if I had ordered this product. To complete my claim, they provided info to file a fraud claim but my credit card had to be cancelled first! I will contact #’s provided here for LUMINARY’S customer service & immediately begin process to cancel. I was also sent order confirmations from LUMINARY’s customer service dept. I replied with urgent email to cancel order’s & requested confirmation of my cancellation request. All of this within 2hrs without waiting for any charges on my billing statement. Will keep you informed! Thanks again!

Please be careful of Nouvelle Beaute. they scam you into buying trial size and then you have trouble paying for it by credit card. Because you have entered your phone number then, they call you to proceed with the transaction. That way you dont get the change to see Terms And conditions. that way you miss out on valuable info. Transactions go through on the credit card as different companies. And when you try to cancel your subscription, they say you have to send it back overnight or pay a discounted price for the items. Mine went through as and sparkling skin but my creditcard department said it went through as

Purinova Eye Cream 1-877-742-9191 Got me for $89.95
This is ridiculous how they are doing people. This money was bill money that I really needed. When I decided to sign up for the trial for the Skin Serum another screen popped up offering a trial for the eye cream, there was no way to decline the offer and it charged me for both. I did not dispute it at the time because I was only out of about $11 at the time not knowing they would charge me another $184.90 for something I did not authorize! I hope they know they’ll be held accountable for scamming people one day. It’s going to come to an end!

        Dear Rachel,
For some reason, I have stayed subscribed to this post and get emails when there are new comments.

God bless you for revealing this despicable — and illegal — marketing practice that keeps popping up like wack-a-mole. And thank you for keeping a running list of the companies that are engaging in these questionable practices. If more and more people stand up for their rights and insist on getting their money back or using their bank or credit card company to stop payment, maybe we can finally put these bums out of business.

Thank you for shining a light on this travesty. I’m sure you have helped hundreds if not thousands of people.

        Keep up the good work!

Hi Phoebe, thank you so much for your comment! I did another interview yesterday, this time with CBS Austin, TX channel and it should air next Friday. I feel like since nothing is being done about these scammers, our best defense is educating consumers. I will continue to add to my list, I can’t believe I have over 500 names there and that’s not nearly all of them. If you want to see that when I post it, like my Facebook page as I’ll be posting it there. Thanks again! ~Rachel

Thank you for your timely web site. I have just been scammed by a company called Luna. They showed the ad for the eye revitalizer that is supposed to remove the bags under your eyes. When they took my order, the added that I could also try the facial serum, for which I would just have to pay shipping, just like the first product I ordered. When I got my order, the eye product was not one of the products they sent me. They sent me a face cream instead. I called the number they gave (1-877-671-0074) to cancel any further shipments and was told I’d have to wait till the trial period was over to cancel. I told them that was rediculous. That they sent me the wrong producty and I paid the shipping as agreed. I told them that I was told I had to cancel within the 2 week trial period. I told her that if I waited till the trial period was over, they would start sending me more product that I didn’t want. She said that I would have to send the product back, in that case. I told her i would not have to send it back. That I had paid for the shipping as agreed. She finally agreed ti cancel the orders, but as you suggested, I am calling my bank just in case. Thanks very much. June Conway in Arkansas

Clamorous and Aquaco! These Companies are Frauds! They used an on line ad saying that “ULTA”, the big cosmetic company, is closing and Sophora bought them out and were selling their products at a reduce rate as a closeout Special, then one month later charged my credit card $97.83 without my authorization from “NSR*Nouvaskin Renew”. When I called the company to have them reverse the charges and cancel any membership they say I agreed to sign up for, they would not return my money nor would they cancel my so called membership after demanding it from them for over an hour! Asked for manager and then “He” (Arlen) offered me a 50% discount on products I didn’t even order! I refused and demanded a refund again and he said no, 50% is his offer! Unbelievable! I never got a refund or a cancellation number from them. My bank said that these companies have agreements with Visa to continue the charges even after the cards have been cancelled and new cards have been reissued. This kind of business practice needs to stop!!! Scammers! Fraud! Something must be done!!
maybe a class action law suite would do the trick!
This companies advertisements are fraudulent! This kind of fraudulent advertising and scamming needs to stop!! And I want my money back they stole from me!

I posted a little while ago that I needed a phone number for YS-CREAM; my grandson who is 5 has much better eyes than I do and found this number on the jar label. 1-877-587-6409. I called and the young lady was very polite and said you are canceled and if you want to sign up again you can and you will have a 35% discount on the product.
Now we wait for the charge to hit the bank account or not.

I just called PUREST Skin Care (anti-aging serum) at 888-524-7715 (found on the label of the trial offer) and canceled all future orders. It is Sunday at 8:11 am where I am from; no one answered the phone but they tell you to leave your phone number and they will call you back. I received my call and was off of the phone by 8:22. The gentleman offered a free bottle and then two free bottles (I believe trail sized) and 35% off of the next shipment in November. I stayed firm and did not take the offers.
I also purchased a trail size jar of YS-CREAM, eye complex product. I have to find the manufacturer and call them separately. I am not able to read the fine print on the jar. If anyone has the phone number please share.

Talked to two people and the second hung up on me. My husband called the credit card company and they refunded the $353 that had been charged and changed our card # and blocked any auto-ship companies from being notified of the new card #. I was getting a 14-day trial with Vlamerous?
After reading scam reviews, I returned the product and informed my credit card company of scam from that “retailer”. In turn, a week later (7-days) I returned the product to the appropriate address. This morning when I looked at my credit account, I saw a charge from them for $97. I called my bank and they are stopping any future transactions from them as well as putting in a dispute.
I called the Vlamerous company (844-621-2325). I told them that I had returned their item within the 14-day trial period and the person on the line kept going on and on about “what didn’t you like?”, “i’ll give you next month at a discounted price”, “it takes a while to work.”, “it’s all natural…” – which is smelled like straight chemicals.
I told her that I had returned the item, but apparently, it doesn’t work like that. To return an item, I had to have “permission” to do so. Even if it is within the 14-day trial and I used their designated return address. I finally was able to cancel any future transactions, but I am out $97 unless something significant happens with the dispute. Great.

Jennifer, most banks recognize that you agreed to their terms and conditions, even though you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of their page to see them, which no-one does. They can actually send you a collections notice if you only cancel your card and don’t formally cancel with them. So keep trying, demand they cancel and that they send you an email confirmation so you can show your bank if need be. You can ask your bank if they’ll file a fraud dispute. Good luck, Rachel

After reading helpful info on your blog, I learned that they would automatically bill her credit

I ordered the “Luminary” Trial Offer for the moisturizer and the eye revitalizer products offered on Facebook. When I went to cancel my order, within the 14 days of placing my order (so they wouldn’t automatically start to deduct the first monthly charge from my credit care) the operator said they had no listing of my account even though I got the number from their Terms listed on the website. They gave me another number, also had no record of my account. I finally looked on my bank account listings of my monthly charges, and there was a number next to the product. They were very nice and cancelled my order for both. The number you need to call is: 877-920-0469. Good luck! I hope this saves someone from getting hoodwinked. Diane

Sheila, you need to file a fraud dispute with your bank and then give the info to this credit agency to clear this up. I am floored these companies get away with this. It’s because they DO post their terms and agreements when you are agreeing to the trial but NOONE sees them. It’s very deceptive, but they are there. Sometimes even the banks will tell you that they were posted. Good luck, definitely get your bank involved…see if they have a number for the company who billed you these charges, it’s always listed under a different name, not the cream name. This sucks, I’m sorry this happened to you. It’s wrong on so many levels. Did you see my CBS interview? Good luck, Rachel

The most resent scam is from AVALURE – supposedly supported by all the the Shark Tank
members. They will automatically bill your credit
card for monthly future bottles when you order a ‘sample’ —
On your credit card the name that shows being
billed is: VERDAD EYE SERUM AND CLARION FACE CREAM . The phone number to reach them is: 877-657-9712. You are put on hold for a longgg time – but hold on and someone will answer.
    Thanks much for your website.

I was scammed ! trial order paid $4.94, but follow by automated shipping month by month, which I over looked and charge to my credit card…
How stupid ! Monthly $86.93 on my card.
    occasionally shipping charge of $4.94.

Once you gave them credit card number, you are under their big hock !

Amazon should stop listing this product. I have file Better Business Bureau complain. they will investigate.

Not a question but some phone numbers that might be helpful. On 3/21/17 I ordered product from two different sites. The first product shows up on my credit card statement as Beauty Health Skin ph# 855-656-8932. The first charge was $4.97 billed 3/21 then billed April 4-May 4-June 3 $89.97 total $269.91.
The second product first appeared on my statement as Revitalizer ph# 855-810-1707 on 3-21 for $3.97 and April 21 for $79.97. Then the name changed to Be Beautiful and Young/Prime Nutra LLC with no ph# but charged $79.97 May 5 and June 4 for a total of $239.91. Why did I wait so long to cancel? I thought I had cancelled within the very short “free trial” period. I also began out of state traveling on April 25 and have yet to return home. So I was unaware that the products were continuing to be shipped to me and was not vigilant in checking my credit card statement online till yesterday. Must admit to being very sick that I am out $500.82. I first called Revitalizer (also Prime Nutra LLC). I questioned the continued charges and the change of names for billing because I had cancelled within the appropriate trial time frame. The Representative said that there was no record of the account being cancelled and I would need to provide them the email the company sent to me confirming cancellation. She did cancel the order so there will not be a July shipment or charge but nor there be a refund of any of the $239.91 I was charged. I asked for contact information for the Company’s President or CEO. Of course the rep did not have that information.
I then called Beauty Healthy Skin to question the continued shipment and billing of their product and same scenario. They did not have a record of my cancelling. The ironic thing was that this rep mentioned that she noticed that I had just cancelled an order on another product. What a coincidence that it was all one company just different names. I asked for a refund and she offered 25%, I got her up to a 50% refund and was going to accept it. She then mentioned that it would be on only one product and for just 1 month. So I said no thank you, just cancel and I would in estimate further options. I asked for the website URL and an email address. When I tried them neither were recognized. I called back and spoke to a different person but all she had was the same email address and added to the URL which still did not work. Very frustrated and I should know better. The parent company, Prime Nutra LLC, was incorporated in FL and the manager is Sarah R Stephenson. The State ID #L16000150930 and there is an address in Gainesville and Tampa. I am going to try to get as much money refunded as possible. It is sad that there are so many that have no qualms how they get their money. Sorry for the novel, just had to rant.

This is an statement; I called these #’s 1-888-736-3712 & 1-888-736-4835, allureantiaging serum and eye wrinkle cream. Cancelled once last month never received a refund or product they kept all, then once again 6/30/2017 my account is charged I finally speak to a person named Nick who finally cancels my account again? So now I either wait or I have to close my bank accounts, to keep this low life scum from stealing from me

I ordered what I thought was a free trial from During the ordering process it was not at all clear that after 15 days from the day of order I would be charged not only for the 30 days supply but automatically placed on a mailing list to receive and be charged for a monthly supply indefinitely! This is a real scam and should be outed. The number noted on my charge card is 888.449.1467. It was only after I called and complained that they told me I was on that monthly mailing list. The rep cancelled that and would see if she could get me a 25% credit on the $89.41 that I was charged. I want a full credit. BEWARE of this company!

Active + Youth Cream – unbelievable this company. Do not sign up for a FREE sample of this product! After you have paid with your Credit Card for the so called Free Sample it comes up with the fine print that you will automatically go on their shipping list for each month to be sent a new jar of this cream. You will be automatically charged each month for this cream too. I thought I had cancelled the free sample in mid order only to have a jar turn up. I emailed them yesterday immediately advising that I should have not received this jar and that I did not want to be on an automatic shipping either. Today I phoned as I hadnt heard anything back +61 291912796 and go through. The lady turned around and told me that my 14 day Free Trial had expired, so the envelope says 16th June and today is 27th June – do the Maths and that is only 12 days. She told me that I have been charged for the jar of cream because I didnt notify them within 14 days that I wanted to cancel. It hasn’t shown up on my Credit Card today but I will be definately be contacting my bank if it does and putting it down as a fraudulent transaction without my approval. You cannot charge someone for a Free Sample, I paid the postage and that was it. She wanted to offer me a reduction in price to keep having this product sent out. Buyers beware – this is one huge SCAM! Not happy!

I was going to try the Shark Tank offer also but having encountered this “theft by deception” previously I followed the links to terms and conditions. Sure enough the usual scam. What distresses me is that increasingly well known reputible companies are now engaging in the same thing.
Late last year I decided to sign my daughter and myself up for a 3 month membership at WEIGHT WATCHERS. I paid upfront for both. Towards the end of the period I noticed on my statements I was being billed by them at regular periods. They tried to tell me I agreed to continue with them at their regular monthly rate after my purchased 3 month period.. which I might add had NOT finished yet. I was told thats because they bill in ADVANCE!!! I immeadiately canceled and blocked any further payments and requested a full refund of the unauthorised funds they had “stolen” from me. It took 2 or 3 emails ( phone calls waiting on area managers to call me back were useless) before I was finally refunded the amount owed. It’s a totally underhand way for a reputable business to conduct itself but it is showing up more and more and everybody needs to be aware its not just free sample offers doing it bur regular business. It really needs to be made illegal!!

I was scammed just like you describe above by Avalure Skim Cream as were many other women. Deceptive practice and abusive customer service. My bank was able to get my refund of $89.71. 2 phone numbers for this fraud company are 1-800-719-9459 and 1-877-503-3708. It was a really bad experience. Customer service was playing games with me and i wish i would have recorded it. They also called me back and left a somewhat threatening response warning me not to go to my bank or attempt to retrieve my funds. It feels like these scams have moved to a new level which now includes threats and intimidation and abuse.

I thought I was ordering a trial size product for the cost of shipping and handling….and then the charges started appearing on my credit card statement. $90.00 for one and a couple of dollars less for the other. I called them from the number on the credit card statement and they basically laughed at scamming me. I have filed a dispute with my bank but I doubt I will win it. BTW, the credit card company already knew about the scam so I don’t understand why they are trying to stop this. I’m also old enough to know better. SMH

i too got sucked into an anti-aging skin cream scam…..i’d seen something about Joanna Gaines leaving fixer upper, clicked on it to read something about her promoting a skin care line called Avalure Anti Aging Face Cream…..(and having just googled Joanna Gaines, i’ve just discovered that was BS)….anyway, i placed an order for a *trial* sample…. thinking, okay, i’ll pay s&h to try it…. NOWHERE did i see anything about a monthly subscription at $90-100….. too bad i started reading AFTER i placed my order. according to their terms and conditions, my 14 day trial started the day i ordered, so i’m already 8 days in…. terms say i can cancel my subscription any time during the trial…AND if i cancel i have to send the product back postmarked by the 15th day after ordering….so i have til next friday…. the problem i’m having is, i’ve called three times…..i have 3 different numbers:
    1-888-775-9063 and
the first number was on the box, the last number on the packing slip…. a little piece of paper about the size of business card!!! i had some luck with the first number….they FOUND my account with them….but tried to tell me i couldn’t cancel until 6/24 which is 29 days after ordering???? i have no return address, so how am i supposed to return it??? and what i find rather fishy is that on the website it says Avalure Anti-Aging Face Cream, the box is labeled Avalure Anti-Aging Face Cream, as is the jar it comes in, the packing slip reads Skin Novela with the third phone number and no return address on either packing slip, no box…..but the charge on my credit card is from FACE CREAM LUMINOUS…. hmmmmmmmmm

tried the Suisse cream and serum as seen on Shark Tank. It irritated my skin so I tried to cancel the subscription. when I tried to cancel the customer service reps were very unhelpful. I had to explain over and over again that the product was not suitable , but their response was to offer me discount after discount. I had to explain 3 or 4 times that no amount of discount was going to stop the product from irritating my skin. They do not listen. Feels like this is just another hard sell scam. AVOID

I ordered trials of the Bisou skin care cream and was charged $4.98 for shipping. Well, I noticed in early May that approximately $100 came off of my credit card in two separate charges of $40 something odd dollars. I contacted my credit card company and they informed me that the same charges also came out in April (and I totally missed it!). I immediately told my cc company that I wanted to file a fraud investigation because I did not authorize those charges. Just like some of the others on here have mentioned, when I opted to get the trials nowhere on the website did it say you would be billed for recurring shipments. This is a total scam so please beware.

I have over $400. worth of charges for Skin Cream on my April Credit card. When I call these companies using the number on my bank statement, they say we are only the distribution center. I have spent a whole day calling all the numbers to no avail.
One company called Attracted Skin has charged me $98.66 and when you call the number they say, We are only the distribution center. When I ask them to give the number of the the actual co product came from they say they don’t know. They reply they represent hundreds of skin products. So a a senior living on a fixed income, I am going to report all these companies to Consumer Fraud. Also one of the key offenders is Shark Tank. They advertised a product that was supposed to drastically reduce wrinkles. I think they are the source of all these charges. They keep sending me emails and facebook posts and everytime I view site the company of the cream has a different name! This is blatant fraud and as far as I am concerned, as a senior, an abuse of the elderly..
Can you advise as to how to get a hold of Shark Tank and alert them of this awful fraud? Thank you Sandra

I ordered the “Free Trail” product for 4.99 S&H. I received the product with no additional info or notices or follow up emails. After checking my bank account saw that my account was charged $184.04 by Derma Folia reflecting the description Frn*Skincaretriaprod & Co Liveskincare. I called today and was informed I was charged for the full product in the 14th day per the original agreement. I was told details were on site however no where during the ordering process did it state it. After calling 844-529-8933 I was told no refund is available however I could cancel my policy. After calling back again and receiving a different person I was provided with a 50% refund of 92.01 as long as I didn’t dispute it with my bank. This is a scam. Never again.

Wish I had read this first. Nothing on the site about signing up for recurring payments or 14-day trial. Now 15 days later I’m stuck paying $90 for something I’m allergic too? Called the company and they said it was my ‘oversite’. I just went back to the website and nothing is in on there. I called back today- surprised the phone number was still in service!!!) they have authorized a 50% refund- I am going to file a fraud report with my credit/debit card co. It may not get me the full refund but it will hopefully help someone else to know that we need to go down every avenue to expose these scammers– and hope we all are a little smarter for getting ‘taken’ in.

The phone number listed for Amore Skin Brightening Face Cream, 888-981-5686 is not a working number.

However I found a number that does work. The correct number is 866-981-5685.

I talked to a live person. After much conversation about I only ordered a free trial, not a subscription, I was finally given a cancellation number and told I would receive an email in 2 days to confirm. Luckily my credit card company caught this and notified me. They did not pay the charge.

    Yeah credit card company!

Rachel, Thank you so much for remaining on the forefront of this issue. The article you were interviewed for is spot on. I am going to send them the screenshot I took of the landing page that lured me into trying a “free sample” for the mere cost of shipping and handling. Nowhere do they disclose that it’s a “trial sample,” and as I mentioned before, the “Terms” was a tiny hyperlink at the bottom of the web page. Thanks to you and the rest of the media, maybe you will be successful in putting an end to these deceptive practices. I am especially dismayed about the wrinkle cream companies using Shark Tank to lure unsuspecting consumers to their landing pages. That’s how I got hooked. Thank you again, Rachel, for your service on behalf of so many people who have been deceived by illegal marketing practices.

I have also been scammed. I ordered Rapid Ageless Serum, free 14 day trial, did not like it at all as it felt so thick and heavy on my skin, cancelled it, but they have no documentation that I cancelled in time. So when it showed up on my bank account, I called right away. Talked to 3 different ladies. The first said there was nothing she could do AT ALL. Called back, the second lady was able to cx my subscription. Thinking it was taken care of, the pending charge on my bank statement said 05/12/17. Checked again today, and now it says 05/11/17 and it’s no longer pending! So, I called them once again, and the lady I talked to this time said there was nothing they could do, at all. I refused to give up. So I asked for someone else. She then said, let me email my supervisor and see if I can help any. Then, a few seconds later said okay, we are not able to accept refunds of products that were used, and we cannot refund your full purchase price, but I can give you back 35% of what you paid, which ended up being like $30 or something. I was so aggravated. Then she said, BUT, you have to agree that there will be no more further action taken in regards to this matter. I finally agreed. It’s better than nothing. But I cannot find anything online about this actual product now. When I search, it pulls up a totally different serum! I did get a confirmation number, and you better believe I’m calling my bank and making sure they know not to let that company take any more money out of my account! Should have known it was too good to be true.

    Hi Kay,
While I appreciate your sentiment, in many cases (including mine) completely false advertising is what compels us to sign up for these products. In my case, Core Skin advertised its product as a Shark Tank winner. The landing page, which I have a screenshot of, calls the trial a “free sample.” The “Terms” link is hidden at the bottom of the page in 8 point (or less) font. (I didn’t even notice the link until I went back and looked.) Their advertising practices are deceptive and against the spirit of the Federal Trade Commission guidelines.

If you Google definition of a free trial period it will explain that you.have a certain amount of time upfront to use and test product !if your not able to sit there and read why.your providing your info your responsible people #noaccoutability

I am SO glad I found your site!!! The only reason I tried this product (YS Cream) was it was advertised on Shark Tank. Not so sure it’s accurate now but I cancelled and they have continued to charge me twice. I went back through my cc statements and found the following numbers (all different) for the same company. I have filed a fraud dispute with my cc company and I plan on filing a fraud complaint against the company if I can figure out where they are incorporated. Here are the numbers and then name: ABQ 877-252-6466; 877-905-9622; 877-317-9037; 877-785-8209. If you call these numbers they will also try and tell you that you ordered a product called Nexacell. I have never heard of it but googled it and I can assure you I haven’t ordered it.

WARNING: My teenage son quickly identified this comment as being fake immediately after reading it. He commented, “Senior citizens don’t say, ‘I want to kill myself!’, mom. Only teenagers are that dramatic.” So don’t fall for this one, folks — this comment was intentionally added so you’d read it and think that this scam was YOUR fault for not reading the terms of the agreement, when in reality, the terms were NEVER presented at the point of sale and the whole purchase process was INTENTIONALLY misleading. I filed dispute for the money with the credit card company, They are using 8773596952 and 8773846952 and 8773484854 and 8773502942. I sure hope this ends and I get my money back. Cellogica got me! I should’ve known better!! I believed the “as seen on Shark Tank”. The charge on my credit card was by Cell Generation. The phone number was on the bank statement. I signed up for a $2.95 trial, I didn’t read the terms and conditions (oops) so I didn’t know I would be automatically signed up for the renewal program ($144.00/month!). We had one charge for $141.00 which was to pay for the “sample” that I signed up for since I didn’t cancel after 14 days. Then another is pending for $144.00. I looked at their website and it has a 30-day money back guatentee statement, yet no one from customer service seemed to know about that. I called and talked to 4 different people, was hung up on three times, and finally was issued a full refund for the most recent charge, but not for the $141.00 “sample”. I think I’m just going to report the $141.00 as a fraudulent charge to my bank, it’s just not right how these companies scan people! I learned my lesson!!!

I was auto billed almost $400 and didn’t know about the 14 day cancellation. My credit card company hadn’t even mailed my bill yet and I couldn’t get a refund from my company or Derma Devine. It doesn’t work and they used the video from Shark Tank to promote it. It is a scam and I wonder if Shark Tank is aware they are using the video from their show where the sharks all invested in an anti-aging cream. That is what I thought I was ordering. I tried calling the Better Business Bureau, but they said I needed a business address and when I called Derma Devine they wouldn’t give me one or the actual name of the company that answered the phone.

      Rachel Vrabel April 25, 2017 at 1:58 am - Leave A Comment

Susan, to find out the company who is billing you, look for it on your CC statement. They don’t bill you under Derma Devine, it’s always billed under a different name (part of the confusion). So once you have that, look it up on the BBB and see if you can find them and it will give you an address, maybe a PO Box, but with that you should be able to make a complaint. Shark Tank is aware, I’m actually working right now with a fraud investigator from the Dr. Oz show and she’s working with Barbara Corcoran. Check out this video from the Dr. Oz show where Barbara Corcoran hunts down and confronts one of these crooks using her name to sell their bogus creams. It’s actually pretty funny. Good luck! Rachel

I ordered what I thought was a sample paying only Shipping & Handling of about $5. The sneaky website apparently also signed me up for a different “free” sample product called Aquavo for $7 for shipping and handling. That’s when I knew there was a problem. When you call the phone numnber in the email, a recording states that, if you wish to cancel your “subscription” (I thought I was only ordered a free sample), you have to send back the trial jar or the company will charge you the full price for it, $38.71! Within minutes, all of those charges were posted to my credit card and I never agreed to it.
I called both company’s 800 numbers and the call was answered by someone in India who said that, if I wanted a refund on the shipping, I would have to talk to the shipping company directly. That’s when I called my VISA company to have them block the charges. Both of these companies are sneaky and obvious ripoffs. This must be the only way they can sell their products is to trick consumers into buying them and signing up for subscriptions they didn’t want.

It was 800-980-9947. It was billed to my credit card under Derma Allure and My Wrinkle Lifter. Each was $4.95. There was also a charge of $1.99 that they said was for insurance. That was billed under Perfect Skin Fast. Why isn’t the Federal Trade Commission stopping these scams?

I was scammed along with others. It really surprised me because I “thought” I was so careful reading all the small print. Anyway, HydraSkin must have to change their phone number numerous times. There were 2 different phone numbers for the “free” trials on my bank website. One was disconnected the other is different than the one you have on your cancellation phone list. I called (855) 807-2471. I received an RMA to return the product. Scammed with the trial skin product also.My bank statement display SKINMAGICLIFT 877 2787699 * WY, and DERMATRITION INFO DERMATRI * AZ, seprately charged me $97.41 and $98.41 (debit card). I told my bank charge back my money. When I order the trial samples, the company charge me three transactions $4.95 (KINMAGICLIFT 877 2787699 * WY ), $1.95 (CELESTA HEALTHYLASTS 844 7226141 * WY), and $3.95 (DERMATRITION 844 588 3548 * AZ). After seeing so many people have been cheated, I despaired such things can happen again and again even though it seems legal in America. Unbelievable. It gives me a very bad visiting experience in America. Ping

Scammed with the trial skin product also. It is called Aura Youth enriching under eye cream and second jar is ageless moisturizer. I called the 800 number on the bottles. 800-980-9947. Supposedly I was able to cancel and send the products back. The box they came in was from Alabama but the company is in California. She said to mail them back separately and gave me an address in Florida. I requested a confirmation email. It none yet. I will contact my credit card company next. Wish me luck. I can’t believe I was so stupid because I know better.

Rachel, I have come across another one, it is Eunisse facial sirum. I called in to cancel prior my trial day is over, demanded cancelation e-mail, they did not sent it. I called back a few days latter to confirm, it was canceled, but they still billed it to me, and now they claiming that they do not have my first call record! The second call was done after 14 days, and that is why they charged me! I was firm that I talked to supervisor, but he talk me to never call back again! So I am at the end and do not know what else I can do?!!! Phone number is 8885390940

I got scammed from an add on Instagram advertised by Macy’s going out of business sale. Stated they were closing stores and liquidation sale. Advertised 4 products. La Mer, which was sold out. Lancôme, also sold out and 2 I hadn’t ever heard of, but they advertised it as a product made by La Mer, so I was hooked. Low prices, so I ordered and got an email stating I had asked for expedited shipping, not true. I then told them to cancel my order, but received it a few days later. Oh, they also had a count down next to the products of how many were left. I went back after I ordered and the count had started over. My bank contacted me and questioned the charge and I had not to my knowledge ordered any $97 something like that cream. I called the number the bank provided and held for over an hour, the customer rep told me the long wait was due to a sale they were having(LOL) Turns out it was the Illum cream that I supposedly ordered indefinitely and would charge me monthly for. She then offered me half off and I declined and I thought she had canceled it. Two weeks later another $97… charge hits my bank. I call a different number with a different company name called Tiki and tell my story again. I get nowhere and get out through to a supervisor who talks over me entire conversation until I start yelling and he continues to talk. Told him that I was reporting them for deceptive trade practices, which I did. Got a call back from another customer rep asking me to call her back and she would help me w refund, but half way through her leaving her number, it went silent, so the number was interrupted. And a different number entirely than the one I had called earlier. I’m now calling my credit card and reporting fraud. I have another number to add to the list for Illum skin care or Tikis, names and numbers keep changing!!!

I came across an article about 2 women who turned down all 5 sharks on Shark Tank then got backing from a large company for their BioDermRX facial cream. There was an offer for a free trial to the right of the article. I showed it to my wife and she wanted to try it so I filled out the order which said it was for BioDermRX all the way through but when I clicked on order it changed to Novellus Naturals Skin Cream. I received the order today. I immediately called Novellus Naturals 888-207-1750 and told them I did not get the BioDermRX. First Julie told me it was a great product. When I insisted that this is not what I ordered, she said I didn’t have to return it and could keep it for $29.95. I insisted I didn’t want it and to not send me anything else until she gave me a cancellation number. I will watch my credit card for any charges.

Rachel, Thank you so much for putting this list together! I just ordered the “free” trial from Core Skin Care out of Toronto and am sorry I didn’t see your blog first! I got a slightly different number from BBB than the one you have listed: 866-845-0117. I will be on the phone with them first thing in the morning to cancel my “subscription.” Although their website carries the proper disclosure about how this is a monthly membership that will be renewed at such and such an amount, I could swear that I did not see that information on the landing page I originally signed up on (and I usually look for the small print). It sure feels like a scam to me. Thanks again for all your work putting this blog post together. I can’t believe there are so many companies out there trying to scam unsuspecting consumers.

I clicked on the shark tank ad for Luna Bella cream and they added another instalift product during my checkout without my authorization. Once I saw that in the purchase confirmation, I started digging in their terms and conditions and realized what I had just “agreed” to. I have canceled that debit card and had a new one issued. Is this all I need to do? They can’t take any money out of my account and can’t put anything on my credit report. Do I have to try to find their phone numbers still?

Thank you, Rachel, for supplying the number to cancel Revitalize!!! I had NO idea they would charge me beyond the trial. I happened to learn about that part by chance when another ad popped up and someone in the comments gave a huge warning. I did the research and saw all the negative reviews. Now I feel really stupid, but I guess I’m not alone.
Luckily, I only just got my free trial the other day, so I called the number you supplied and was able to cancel today. I’ll still be charged $31.76 for the “free” trial because, trying to send it back seemed impossible since they didn’t give me an address to send it to!!!
However, I was told that my account is now cancelled and NO further charges or shipments will occur and I was given a cancellation #.
Whew! So, I just spent about $43 for this “free” product, but I dodged a much more expensive bullet.
It’s a shame, because it seems like a pretty nice serum. why don’t they just market it honestly? *sigh*

  239. Heather March 27, 2017 at 3:32 pm - Leave A Comment

    (855) 549-2157 is a number to add to your list. This is for SkinOpulent. I am currently filing a dispute with my credit card company because they still charged me even though I canceled. They were pretty smart about it. I emailed to cancel within 14 days, they didnt respond until after 14 days & that email response only said they couldn’t read my original email & to email or call for further support. I hate talking on the phone, so I chose the email option to re-send my request for cancelling. A few days later they said call their number. I called & got some lady who was dancing around what I was saying & trying to tell me that I didn’t read their terms & conditions & that their emails strictly say to call because they don’t always get emails timely… false. There was still an email option. Eventually after going back & forth she agreed to cancel my subscription & sent me a cancellation number. Of course before that she offered me 50% off… i told her no & that i didn’t even know the 100% cost. Eventually she told me what the 50% cost was and I was like yeah no. We’ll see how this dispute goes. I wish I could have seen your site before I fell into the trap.

I fell for the false ad a few days ago and realized my mistake instantly when I clicked terms and conditions immediately after confirming my purchase. I have tried calling and emailing the number but they don’t show a record of my purchase yet. Yeah, right.
Instead they want to search using my credit card number which I wouldn’t do.

File a fraud dispute with your credit card company or bank. I’m seeing this happen more and more lately. If they charged you the $4.95 s&H fee, you can bet your ass they have your information and plan on charging you the full price on day 14. Day 1 was the day you ordered. Good luck! Rachel

Are all these different company names one in the same? They all have the same gimmick. NaturaCel conned me, and didn’t answer phones. Waited 21 days to respond to email (as in a billing cycle), but I’d already cancelled my CC. They used intimidating tactics and said they’d refund me only if I agreed to reverse the dispute of my CC transaction. I opted instead to file a complaint with the Delaware BBB and with my state’s attorney general’s office. The AG office is writing a letter on my behalf. In their email, NaturaCel claimed they win 70 percent of the cases and will monitor the IP addresses I visit. The links I connected to on FB are dead now. Totally scammed. It’s embarrassing, and I’m guessing there are thousands of us out there who are too embarrassed to pursue righting the wrong.

    Hi Rachael,
Your name popped up on my screen as I was filling out my name and address and information that preceded the page asking for credit card information to order a “free trial” cream. I had my doubts but was considering the order. However, I decided to read the article that you suggested. After seeing that you could be billed for the product above and beyond the trial period and without your authorization as well, I decided not to go through with the otder and did not give out my credit card numbers to them..
Your article is extremely informative and so I thank you very much for information which ultimately deterred me from making a big mistake..
I am curious however to see if they try to contact me anyhow because they have my name, address and telephone number.

Hi Marlene, I LOVE hearing stories like this. It’s sad that I mostly hear from people AFTER they get scammed, so thank you so much for sending me this message. They usually try phoning you right away if you back out of the order, so be aware…and be sure and hang up on them after you tell them you’re reporting them to the BBB and the FTC. The FTC can shut them down. Rachel

        Hi Rachael,
Thank you for replying to me! Even more important, Thank You for the informative blob. Your research and advice stopped me from making a financial mistake. What is also extremely suspicious about the creams ( in my case, the particular eye cream”) which is supposed to make bags disappear temporarily, is the fact that the cream is under different names which makes it almost impossible to find the correct eye cream that was so deftly shown on TV.
At any rate, your blog was truly influential in helping me make the correct decision and protected me from lots of aggravation which would have occurred had I placed an order.

Thank you so much for the extremely helpful info. Like many others I ordered the anti- aging cream named Clairskin. In the order I also ended up ordering eye cream Revive Eye. I didn’t think I had completed order and tried to back out after giving my info. I saw that my account was charged $4.95, $5.99 and $1.99. This occurred yesterday. Today I saw the same Shark Tank Ad but with a different name for the products. I then read your post and what to do. Bank charges were under completely different names PROSEBEAUTY instead of Clair Skin, (844-965-5226) and Beauty Omni instead of Revive Eye. (844-966-0526). I called and talked to a rep. I told her I wanted to cancel the order and be refunded. I also said I wanted email confirmation. She said she could cancel but could not email. I argued that they could send a confirmation when I ordered. I complained I would just have to call the BBS. She then put me on hold. After a very short time, she came back and cancelled everything and refunded fees. Emailed me receipts for all. I asked about the $1.99 I was charged. Apparently it’s insurance? Didn’t ask for it but didn’t complain.. Without your info. I would probably be stuck with the scam. Thanks

I clicked on a shark tank ad about their Vlamorous cream for spots for $4.95 +$1 for this roll on dark circle stuff. Order from Beauty Vita. Got charged the next day for .99 and $3.95. A couple of weeks later they charged $96.83. I canceled my card and then they tried to authorize an additional $100 multiple times. Then then called me when they couldn’t collect saying they were from the US treasury and i’ve been chosen as a homeowner in the area to receive $9000 if I give my cc info or bank acct info.i refused and ask for the foreign woman’s number and asked where she really was calling from. She hung up. Disputing charges with bank now. They make up fake accounts for your product and that you’re a prior customer. Huge scam!

I responded to Skin Scientific Revitalizing Moisturizer 844-238-3073 for a free trial of Skin Solution Cream & Skin Solution Eye Serum w/ shipping of $4.95 & 4.99.

First box arrived w/ additional Skin Scientific Vit C ($24.95) which I hadn’t ordered. Had called immediately when my email confirmation arrived showing it to say I didn’t want it. My credit card only showed the shipping charges for 2 items.

Then a 2nd box arrived. I didn’t open it as I could see that from the label that it only had 2 items and I could refuse it w/ the post office and not have to pay return shipping.

When I called Skin Scientific they were obnoxious and said that free trial didn’t mean that the items were free for only the shipping costs and if I didn’t want to continue receiving, I’d have to wait 14 days to cancel auto-reorder. This is totally fraudulent.

After being very emphatic and persistent, she said they’d cancel the reorder. I’ve also entered a dispute with my Credit Card. BEWARE ! ! !

hi Rachel.. Just to show how these companys change their names even on the same invoice: DermaSkincream -855-309-5293….product name Advanced Skin name Skin Balance. GLOWSKINGLOBAL.COM-866-312-5559. -Skin Balance. Advance Skin. I am in Canada and i have the added expense of the money exchange rate so things get more costly for me. They charged .99 each for insurance which i have never had in the past. I didn’t know what it was for till I phoned them. Also I got the first bottle Feb.2nd, but not the other product till Feb. 9th. and called and told them had only just received the cream, but it was 1 day late of the 14day trial to cancell, and they would do nothing for me. I am going to call again after call my Bank. I’m not sure what the price of these creams were when I ordered the trial but think they were around 89.95 0r so but the charges on my invoice were $147.44 U.S. AND $140.99 U.S. i really dont know how to find out the original prices on their advertisement? I am going to call again…I’m not finished with them, but I have learned that I will never buy anything ever again from the computer. also one other thing regarding the small instructions they hide so you don’t see till it’s too late…..the trial 14 days starts the same day you order it !!!!! not when you receive it. Ladies BEWARE of all these advertisements. They had billed my account card before I had even received the face cream!!!! Well; I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON TOO, as another lady said in her comment. Do not buy the Vinetics Skin Cream “trial”. The terms and conditions state you are provided your first 30 day supply, but then I was billed full price 18 days after placing the order and told by customer service that they would not refund my money because they had a 17 day cancellation period, but refused to tell me where in writing I could find this. When I kept asking where this was stated in writing, the woman on the phone, Karen, hung up on me. The company already violated their own terms and conditions policy by stating they will ship your order the day after you place it because my email confirms it was shipped 2 days after I ordered it and it was the middle of the week, no where near the weekend. I have also tried emailing the company and they refuse to respond to my inquiry regarding a refund and where I can find this “17 day” cancellation policy in writing. The product does not work and I can’t believe anyone is actually endorsing it.

Rachel, I was scammed a couple years ago by Revivatol cream and Dermology serum free samples for $4.95 SH..
Reccomended by Dr. Oz. These products do not appear on your phone list, probably because they have moved on to new names. Fortunately Bank of America credit card fraud division charged back the $75.00 charge on my card. A full size jar of skin cream was shipped to me after only 2 weeks.
There was absolutely NO fine print on the website page where I placed my order!! However , when the Bank investigated, the page they accessed did have the fine print.
I insisted that it was false and misleading advertising and they backed me up. I realize now how lucky I was and how stupid to fall for what looked like an offer to buy a sample to try. i had to agree to return the unopened cream, which I did. I followed the advice of the Bank, but can’t recall all the details now.
Re: filing a complaint on line with the BBB and /or National Chamber of Commerce: it really does get results when all else fails because I was ripped off for a product I never received. a pet odor removal product. advertised on TV only. No way to contact company, bogus tel number. I left an email complaint and a few weeks later a box with 4 bottles return address, no invoice or packing slip…this was 4X the amt of product I ordered! Beware of ordering anything over the phone!! Even if you say NO to special additional offers, they could still sign you up. After ordering hosiery from a very well known company, I discovered I had also “joined” a magazine club. It took a letter to the FTC to get my $ refunded. Thank you for your website..I was just browsing tonight and recalled my experiences and wanted to share and encourage folks to not give up and keep fighting to get your money back. And in the future, shop on line with a reputable company like Amazon, which has first class customer service and backs up every purchase. Tks M

Mary, thanks so much for your comment. You did the right thing by filing complaints to the BBB, FTC, etc. Another good one is your state’s attorney general’s office. They share info amongst states so when there’s a trend about scams, they all seem to share info and can take more action. Amazon is good for some things – never Ebay for beauty products because you don’t know how people are storing things and what condition they are in. The links I provide on my reviews to my recommended products are also good companies with good reputations whom I’ve dealt with for years. Your right about the Dr. Oz cream name changing – they seem to change daily and I can hardly keep my list up to date! Rachel

I was scammed too by Rejuvenem. I ordered for this free trial , paid for the shipping and when I received my credit card bill, I was charged $ 259.85 which include Zanu Green Coffee that I never ordered. I called the numbers on my bill and learn that these 2 companies are the same. I was asking for refund but the person just said that the 14 day trial is over, so have to pay the whole amount then hung up on me. I searched the internet and saw their email address, sent an email but I got a message that mail is not delivered. I am upset, working very hard just to be scammed.
Thank you so much for this web site. If only I’ve seen this site before I ordered the free trial, this should not have happened. I LEARNED MY LESSON.

Do not buy vinetics C…it is totally a scam. I know better and was sucked in by the “risk free trial”. There is nothing special about this cream and it’s 95.00/month. The S&H is charged and 14 days later the full price and auto shipments. Don’t get sucked in!! The terms and agreements are in small small fine print not easy to read or find. You can not ship back a bottle for a refund either…they refuse to take it back and refuse to credit you…FYI…stay away!!!

  262. RT March 1, 2017 at 2:43 pm - Leave A Comment

Thanks for the information. I was scammed by Vinetics C. I noticed the charge of $89.79 on by credit card bill today. I called to inquire and slipped on their slippery slope! I will dispute the charge with my credit card company for good measure. I was also trying to find the address to this company to no avail for BBB purposes. Lastly, the cream does NOT work as it states. I’m highly disappointed that SHARK TANK would put their stamp of approval on this item/marketing/scam and deceive the general public.

This company is a scam. Even after calling to cancel I was still charged $186. When I called a second time, I was told there is no record of my call, therefore they would only refund $156. No wonder they stay in business when they do not give a full refund even when you call! This product did not work any better than an over the counter moisturizer. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT

On the page where you fill out the order form, you must scroll all the way to the very bottom and in small print you will see Term and Conditions. That is where you will find the small print on charges automatically charged to your credit card. One red flag I look for when dealing with any of these type of products is if they don’t offer paypal as a payment method, that means they want access to your money. What was really strange was moments after I exited the page, they actually called me! That just creeps me out!

The ones I tried were supposedly recommended by Ivanka, Brightening Face Cream and Brightening Eye Cream. I also was scammed by another company, Revived Youth cream and Revived Youth Eye Serum. When I called the last one to cancel, at first I got a message that the company was discontinued, then on second try i got a foreign person I could barely understand. And for the samples I received, I have to send them back in individual packages. Incidentally, the ingredients are exactly the same in both products.

Thanks so much for the information here. The number didn’t work for the Beauty Wrinkle Cream (The Shark Tank people) “membership” I somehow fell into. I’m out about $200 and didn’t realize it. I did call the number on my credit card statement and got some results (866) 935-5654. I am getting a refund of the shipment I got today and 50% of the charge from last month that I didn’t even know I incurred! I’d received my “free sample” in December, but was told that since I didn’t return it within 14 days, I got charged the full price for it in January. So I’m getting 50% back of that charge. What a scam… I’m calling my bank and asking them to put a block on my credit card for these people to make sure they don’t charge me again next month! Ugh! I knew better than to try this stuff, but took my chances anyway and now paying for it…. hope this helps others!

I received Eyecare TRZ and Extensive cream (AM cream) for I thought $4.95.
I did not get the bank charge until 14 days after the order. Two charges were $89.63 and $89.58. I called my bank to dispute the charges then called the numbers on the bank posting, 888-732-7471 and 888-732-4303. I got 35% credit ($31.35) on the one charge and 75% ($67.22) off the AM cream. The number on the AM cream box was 877-671-0327 which is the number they said I should call instead of the one on the bank posting.I asked why the charge took 14 days to be on my bank statement. No response. They said I had a 14 day trial to call them and why didn’t I read the fine print? I said I was looking for the $4.95 charge and it never posted. I feel stupid for not reading the small print at the bottom. None of those 3 numbers are on the list above.

Shirley, sometimes yes. Sometimes people get lucky and the company will agree to refund a portion of the charge. If you have a good credit card, sometimes they’ll refund you ALL the money and block further charges. Sometimes people just get screwed out of $100’s, which is the usual story. Rachel

However wanted the product back or there would be more chargers. I just reciecved the products today and I am sending them back to Singapore. Should I send the product back with tracking?? Please adevise. Thanks

I just called 1-855-772-7556 to dispute a charge for Vlamorous. When I signed up (off of Cosmoolitans website) it said nothing about a recurring charge. I made sure I read it over and over. I just got a $98 charge on my card. I called and demanded a refund. The guy said only a 30% refund can be issued, then he went to 50%, then after I complained more I got the full 100% refund. This is ridiculous. He said I agreed to the terms, when there was nothing stated about auto-replenishment, and nothing in the paper about it either. My advice…keep trying and you should get your refund. Im just hoping that I do get it!

Yes, Mom fell for the free trial of Clair Skin and also Revive Eye. Total scam. Her debit card has been charged $177 – which includes 89 dollars for something called ABP*MuscleStamina, and 88 dollars for “PrismSkin. I called and they cancelled the account, but I will see if I can get at least a partial refund from the bank, and will call BBB.
Here is a list of the relevant phone numbers:
    PrismSkin 844-965-8566.
    ABP*MuscleStamina 844-965-5246
    ReviveEye 844-324-0044
    Clair skin 844-965-6806

It does SEEM that all are the same company because I called the MuscleStamina # after cancelling the account at PrismSkin, and the operator said the account had indeed been cancelled.

    Neuphoric and reawaken
I won the battle today. Called to cancel both. I have 4 boxes unopened 2 of each. I called to cancel and return. Cancelled. Then another number to return. First guy said it’s on web site a 9.95$ return fee. Sorry nowhere does it say that. He gave me an RA # to return but I wanted to see the return fee in writing. Got cut off. Next guy said he would drop price in half. I said no return and credit. He could not do a supervisor after about 29 minutes on hold. She said they do not give RA#. Well guy just did. She could find no where it said return fee and they had 3 websites. Long story. I get to keep and dispose of all product with a full credit for all four boxes. With confirmation email in my inbox.

Be persistent. And quickly print terns and conditions before they correct them

Thanks for this information. I ordered a free trial of Satin Youth wrinkle cream and Satin Youth instant wrinkle reducer. I immediately regretted it and looked online to find the website and phone number and found tons of stories of people who were scammed. Unfortunately today is a bank holiday but I sent the fraud department an email to explain what happened. I also called customer service for Satin Youth and after several calls I got a human being and told them I just placed a trial order but I want to cancel it. Now I am within the 14 days since I just ordered a few hours ago. I was told that my order was cancelled and sent emails confirming the cancellation. If they end up charging the $10 that’s fine but if I get any additional charges I will be really angry (I cleaned that up for general viewing). Wish me luck.

Thank you so much for posting this information. I thought I was too smart to fall for this info. Saw a posting on Facebook, and advertisement for free trial and thought why not try it. Okay now I know why not. There is no way that it advised me of a recurring monthly subscription. Well live and learn. Thank you for your post and I “liked” it :).

I’m trying to help my mom get her money back. Thankfully they refunded $100, but she is still out the other $100.

We filed a credit card dispute, but the company fought back. These people are so good they have screenshots of their bogus proof.

So now I’m stuck on how to respond because of course the website is already down from what my mom purchased.

I like the advise you provided in the article though thank you.

These companies are so good at keep on changing their names and using celebrities and having all their proof ready it’s incredible. I really hope that someone finds away to stop them one day.

Hi Deanna, thanks so much for your comment and for the like! 🙂 I’m sorry your mom got caught up in this scam, they are awful! The websites disappear before you can find them again, or the links flip to new cream scams. If you’ve filed a fraud dispute and your credit card is saying tough luck since you agreed to the “hidden” terms and conditions, that stinks. Some credit card companies are more helpful than others. Some of them will refund your money and put a block on them. You are luck that the cream company even reversed the $100 charge honestly. There are so many companies using fake quotes and pictures of Kelly Rippa. It was Dr. Oz for the longest time, and still is, but more so Kelly Rippa right now! ~Rachel

Thanks for this information, my husbank noticed a couple of strange transaction from our account & queried these with me. I couldn’t remember giving permission for regular debits to come out of account and the company names didn’t ring a bell. We filed a fraud dispute with our bank & it wasn’t until they did some further investigation that they phoned to ask if I’d signed up for a trial or free sample for skin cream. The cream that i was scammed into buying was ‘Invigorite’ & ‘Facial Revive’.

ACTIVE PLUS YOUTH SERUM free trial is a SCAM. I paid postage for this on my Credit Card…never received the free sample but instead received the full product with the full price charged to my Credit Card. Disputed this with the Bank who have replied that the Merchant’s bank has now provided documents to support the charge to your account!!!!so my bank won’t refund. I didn’t see any fine print warning. Nor do their ads warn of conditions. In fact their ads warn you about fake free trials of other companies!!!

My wife also fell for this scam. She received a jar of eye cream on the trial program. I did not find till they charged my card for $99.01 on 20 October 2016 that it had a short trial period. I could not find a phone number to call so I returned the product to the address on the shipping label. When the charge posted to my credit card I called the Bank and stopped payment. This week I received a letter from DAR Waterfront & Associates attempting to collect the “past due balance”. I will be writing them and sending a copy to my local congressman regarding this scam to trick customers into these type of purchases. The Creditor is Belle Epoque although my bank statement for the prepaid shipping charge shows Vitalyzeeyecream.

Has anyone received a collection notice and if so what was the outcome.

More of an FYI of another anti-aging skin care scam. I trusted this one because it was promoted by Victoria Osteen (wife of Joel Osteen – TV preacher). Suisse Skin Serum was advertised by Victoria as a get sample for shipping cost of only $4.98, 30 day free trial. Nothing in the on line request notified that you had to call upon receipt of sample to activate the 14 day trial and nothing on the small 3″ x 4″ inch “receipt” (no price listed, no mention of calling them, no mention of a 14 day trial instead of 30 days and also nothing stating that “trial” starts the day you order not when you receive product, which did not arrive until 6/16.) I got the email at 1:04am today (6/25) stating they had charged my credit card for over $90 for my purchase on 6/11. No way would I have even tried the sample sized product if there had been anything in the web site that said I would be charged that much money for a sample! Let alone being charged before I had the product for less than 1 week to try. I was laughed at by the customer service person at the 800 number when I complained and asked for refund plus I tried to cancel the monthly renewal and that was even funnier to the woman on the phone. I have advised my bank about the fraud and they are looking into it, but I fully plan on writing to Joel and Victoria Osteen and letting them know I will never watch or support their “church” again after being sucked into this scam. No wonder they have $$$$. What a rip-off. Have you heard about this Suisse Anti-Aging Skin Serum before?

Victoria OSTEEN’S Anti-aging cream seems to have a trick to the order and I had to catch them trying to charge me for 9.89 instead of the 4.95 for 14 day trial. I want to cancel it. The phone number they have listed is 855-910-5822. I spoke to some one named JASON who lied to me about sending me the confirmation by e-mail and instead gave me 2512440. When I read up some info and after 2 hours no e-mail, I called back and spoke to someone named Amy who said that she’d send it to me. I am not trusting Victoria osteen or her product and would like them to have their product while I have my 4.95 returned. Also, I informed them that I’d contact the FBI and now I think the FDA needs to be contacted…This has to stop no matter who it is. Can you help?

    add these #s to list
    Sun Serum 1-844-332-1194
    Eden’s Garden 1-844-816-4957
You sign up for a free trial and only have to pay shipping for Beaute Instant Wrinkle Creme and Reducer. You think you are only paying $3.95 and when you check out there is another charge for $4.95. Little do you know that you are actually signing up for a 14 day trial and will automatically be billed $89.95 and $99.95 at the end of 14 days and you have signed up to receive and be charged once a month. I believe the email said it was to Joanna Gaines new product, haha they got you! Processed a fraud charge through bank and canceled my”subscription”. I was offered a 25% and then a 50 % discount and they would extend my next shipment. Buyer Beware!

Joanna Gaines picture is used to promote Nulift Anti Aging Cream and Nulift Eye Serum. I was using a mobile phone and saw no agreement regarding 104.00 per month after the initial trial that was listed as a 30 day supply. I did not click on to the eye cream, but it signed me up anyway and billed Visa, since all info was already in. I was unable to go back and review or change the order. I immediately went to Joanna’s website and saw her warnings from April about the scam!! The number to call if for the Joanna Gaines scam is 800-761-8039 and my order was voided. Prior to that I
called Visa CostCO and they told me if I am charged they would help me dispute it. Then I went to work to find a number to call to cancel. I first called 855-378-6468 and was told by three different people there was no account in my name. When I mentioned to 2 of them I was possibly being scammed, they hung up. There is a cancellation number for Nulift on the website along with the age and monthly subscription agreement that did not appear on the scam site. My subscription was cancelled relatively quickly once I refused to allow the items to be shipped to me and threatened to report them to BBB, God and all his minions. Took about 2 hours.

Scammed through Facebook Ad… Ordered Yuva Advanced Anti Aging Cream and Premium Eye Serum. Have spent at least 2 hours today trying to track down someone to issue a refund or a RMA. I didn’t realize that I was signing up for a monthly trial of the products. I thought I was getting trial versions of the product. I was shocked to see on my credit card that I wasn’t charged the roughly $14 dollar fee I expected but that I was charged, close to $200. I called to say I thought it was trial sizes not a trial period. The info was hidden in their terms and conditions which also spells out the ability to return within 30 days and request an RMA. I can’t help be feel I’ve been screwed. I can’t help but feel this is a ponzi scheme. So far the companies I have found associated with this stupid product have been: on credit card statement these two companies Inner Clean 980791-0099 – QFL antiagcrm and QFL advancedeye 800 537-3267 – Nuway Living was the only email receipt I received – and on the label of the product it says Yuva Forever. This must be a front for some illegal activity or some companies trying to avoid taxes. I have tried to talk with a supervisor but one won’t be available until after 3pm PST. All the websites refer to a company in NJ but the call center is in Mountain Time. Uggg I hate these people and this process. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. I can’t even find the corporate company info.

Visage Skin Care Shop, showing up as MSO*VISAGESKINCARESHOP or MGIHTSY*VISAGESKINCAR … 3.95 “Free Trial Shipping-Only Cost” turns into a 99.95 charge for a 0.5 oz (15 mL) bottle!!! I had to do some looking to find their information. Their website is at, and their customer service number is 844-388-3475.

What I truly *love* about these companies is that they are predators. I am a caregiver, and the women I see targeted almost relentlessly (4 times in the last year for one woman) are the elderly. Not only do they prey on these women’s desire to sustain any kind of youthful appearance and the beauty attached, they are preyed on for their resources and the often-found lack of knowledge as to how to fight these frauds. Truly despicable.

Anyhoo, I do a google search and find the ad about all 5 sharks investing in anti-aging face cream and the product is now called Collagen Serum nor Radiancy. Hmm interesting. It looked like the same product with a different name. I thought that seemed a little fishy. I went through the motions as if to place an order and sure enough in very tiny print is a disclaimer stating that by submitting I was agreeing to enroll in membership at $98 month in recurring product shipments.

That’s how they get ya… they don’t expect you to read that fine print. Not sure the Sharks on shark tank had anything to do with this ad at all.

Melinda, thanks for sharing! The Sharks definitely do not have anything to do with these scams. There will be lawsuits. Rachel

Yes, I called in days after receiving this crap.. and wanted to cancel cause I knew I did not want it. They told me they would extend the trail for 30 days and I could call back and canceled. I called back in on the 14th day to canceled and was told if I canceled early there was an early cancellation fee of $9.95 and I had to wait for the 6th (which was tomorrow)through the 12th to cancel, which would have been the 15th day… I said that was ridiculous. He told me it was on the website… He said the website was and I said that is not even where I ordered from I ordered from and there was no mentioned of a $9.95 early cancellation fee! And now I have gone through their policy and there is no term in there as such. So I called another number on my receipt (and if you notice there are quite a few different numbers connected to all this) she verified there was NO such charge and he was just confused, and I said well it was BS because I was calling on the 14th day. She said oh well he is new. She just kept saying well your order is canceled. Then she had the nerve to ask if there was anything else she could help me with.

I talked to Cole M. this second time I called and he kept talking over me, lying to me about some early cancellation fee and then had the nerve to call me rude when I became upset and told him what I thought! When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told his supervisor was not in… I told him someone in charge had to be available. I said regardless if you get me, someone, now or not I guarantee you I will be speaking with someone in charge today. Then miraculously his supervisor just walked in… So then he kept putting me on hold and every couple of seconds saying 1-minute ma’am (which I asked him not to call me) i will transfer you in a minute, like deliberately trying to invoke me! So his supervisor Mark B. id # 0411 got on the line and finally said he canceled my order and I would not be shipped any fees or any more charges. Because he knew the whole early cancellation fee was BS especially considering I was calling on the 14th day.

Also, when I ordered I was positive I did not check the $1.95 for added insurance and somehow I was charged for that which I called and canceled that as soon as I got my receipt!

Phone number for DermaFolia is 800-518-9650. Got my credit card hacked by this company. My good fortune is my bank caught it then we reported it as an unauthorized charge and cancelled my card. Now they can’t rip me off again.

Dermafolia definitely a scam they charge you $89.47 if you do not return within 14 days and if you chose to get the other cream offered during checkout they will charge you $94.57 if not returned within 14 days. Then if not cancelled they will send another of each in a month $ charge you those prices again. Unbelievable!! And nowhere does it tell you this is what their going to do!!! Phone number to call is 1-844-359-9274

Has anyone else fallen victim of the YS- Cream? Offers a trial and 14 days later charges your card an additional 89.95 and will continue to do so until you phone and cancel. Frustrated with customer service. They would not even pass the call onto a supervisor!

Grrr… I was checking my checking account, & saw $98.00 taking out of my account, I found out it was one of those free sample scams, I do not remember reading any fine print about 14 day trial, Iam not happy I had finally found this list, thank you, so I called (Alucia) & of course I spoke to someone that doesn’t speak very good English, I told her I can not afford this product, & it better really good stuff for that price, & she also informed me that I would need to cancel before, next month, I don’t have money to do this every month… I could of cancelled my card, but then I would have to wait, very frustrating, there has to be another way..?

Thanks for your phone list. SIHU cancellation process was very fair and even refunded me most of my payment. No question. I’ll just buy my skin care products at a department store or drug store from now on.

I ordered a “free” bottle of Clair Skin, and also their eye cream. I was charged 90.00 EACH for these items less than 10 days after I received it. I called to complain and was told that it’s not a FREE trial, but a sample and I agreed to pay this ridiculous amount when I checked a box on my screen. I hadn’t had a chance to try it, as I was sick, and had about 4 days to use it.
I called and was told I couldn’t get a refund, they would give me a credit of 35% each, and wouldnt give me the name or address of the parent company.
Is there anyone I can contact about this? Is the Better Business Bureau aware of these scams? I would like to make their lives miserable for these kind of scams.

I don’t know the name of the anti aging product but it’s billed under Renew Health and Vital Health for 89.97 each. It was supposedly invested in by all the judges on shark tank and it contains snake venom.

Not a question, however, here is the correct number for Image Revive. The one you list doesn’t work (at least not in Canada). They don’t give you this one until your order is on its way. That way you can’t cancel when you realize this is just another internet scam. 1-844-340-2713.

I tried calling Restora 1-800-797-2209 on your list to cancel my free trial before I am billed. No answer and then a busy signal!! Now I will try and email them. I am beginning to feel this is a scam.
