Skin Care Free Trials – Cancellation Phone Numbers

Rachel Vrabel Last Updated: May 10, 2017 251

free trial wrinkle creamsIf you’re trying to cancel a free trial for an anti-aging product or you’re looking for a refund from a cream you recently ordered (or more likely got scammed by), I’m not the person to talk to, but I can help!

I do not promote or sell these short-term (14 day) free trials on WomensBlogTalk.com, in fact I warn against them!

You need to contact the cream manufacturer and cancel your subscription.

If you’re looking for a phone number for a cream manufacturer, I’ve created the list below for your convenience.

*Turn your phone sideways (landscape) if you can’t see the numbers viewed in portrait mode!

If the phone number you’re looking for is not on this list, that means I don’t have it. Your best bet is to google the cream name + free trial (example Beauty Wrinkle Reducer Free Trial) and start clicking on those links. Click through to the offer so you get to the cream’s landing sales page.

If you happen to find a landing page where it actually GOES to the cream you’re looking (and doesn’t flip to a completely different cream), scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to the “Contact Us” us section and that’s where you’ll find the number.

Alternatively, CALL YOUR BANK. These creams usually bill under a different company name but the bank will oftentimes have a number on the back end. If you’ve been scammed, you can also FILE A FRAUD DISPUTE with your credit card company or bank. Sometimes they’ll refund.

If you have numbers that I’m missing, please share by leaving a comment down at the very bottom with the name of the cream and the phone number. I’d love to make this list grow to help other people just like you!

If you would like more information, please read my blog post Beware of Free Trials for Anti-aging Products – an Investigative Report

Q: Just signed for free trial of Facial Revive - is this a scam too? -Donna

A: Donna, yes Facial Revive is a scam in my opinion. They're going to bill you about $90 on day 14 when the free trial is up. Day 1 is the day you ordered. All of the Facial Revive websites are flipping to new wrinkle cream scams, mostly the Coal Cream, which is just another scam. I can't find a phone number for Facial Revive since they're already furiously changing up their websites to new links. I would call your bank and see if they have a number on the back end. Or look at your bank online and look for that small $4.95 or so s&h fee. They bill under different company names but there may be a phone number listed. Or file a fraud dispute with your credit card company if you don't have any luck finding the phone number. Good luck. ~Rachel

Q: i was scammed by derma fixa for 195.48.ive been trying for over a week to get a refund but they refuse.im on ssi and ss so i certainly cant afford 195.00 monthly. im going to my bank today to try and get helpbut im so afraid they will try to take money again next month. they left me with nothing this month. will i have to worry about this? they supposedly closed the account but i dont trust them. -janey

A: Janey, I'm so sorry about this. Definitely file a fraud dispute with your bank and if I were you, I would ask the bank to open a new account for you and close the other one. But be sure and file the fraud dispute along with that. Also be sure that you've cancelled your ongoing subscription which it sounds like you did. Did they send you an email confirmation that they've cancelled? Good luck, Rachel

A: Linda, it's on my list, yes call them and cancel asap. ~Rachel

Q: Ordered a trial of Reversaderm and immediately After I ordered knee something was not right. I called back to cancel and they won't let me...how do I get out of this? Cancelled my credit card and reported it as fraud. There was a shark tank ad for it and it's never been on that show. Very deceiving. How do I cancel if they won't let me? -Stephanie

A: Stephanie, I've heard of these bogus shark tank ads for skin creams. I found the phone number for Reversaderm Skin Care (888)614-9317 and I've added it to my list. Thank you so much for sharing this info with me, and the world! Hopefully someone will see this before they order. What do you mean they won't let you cancel? Call them asap and demand to speak to a supervisor and don't take NO for an answer. Tell them to cancel your subscription immediately and to send you an email confirmation. Threaten to report to the BBB and your State's Attorney General's Office. They are bullshitting you saying you can't cancel. Gotta play hardball with them. Please try again and good luck! ~Rachel

I ordered the “Free Trail” product for 4.99 S&H. I received the product with no additional info or notices or follow up emails. After checking my bank account saw that my account was charged $184.04 by Derma Folia reflecting the description Frn*Skincaretriaprod & Co Liveskincare. I called today and was informed I was charged for the full product in the 14th day per the original agreement. I was told details were on site however no where during the ordering process did it state it. After calling 844-529-8933 I was told no refund is available however I could cancel my policy. After calling back again and receiving a different person I was provided with a 50% refund of 92.01 as long as I didn’t dispute it with my bank. This is a scam. Never again.

Wish I had read this first. Nothing on the site about signing up for recurring payments or 14-day trial. Now 15 days later I’m stuck paying $90 for something I’m allergic too? Called the company and they said it was my ‘oversite’. I just went back to the website and nothing is in on there. And on my email receipt as well as my final screenshot of the order … there is NOTHING about recurring payments.

SO FAR I HAVE NOT BEEN BILLED YET. I RECEIVED THE REGENERE PRODUCT TWO DAYS AGO. WHEN I ORDERED THE PRODUCT THERE WAS NO MENTION OF ANY FURTHER SHIPMENTS OR PRICES THAT’S WHY I ORDERED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. BUT AFTER READING THIS INFO HERE I AM GOING TO GIVE THEM A CALL. AND HEAR WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY. THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION.

No refund, she pointed out that I had agreed to this arrangement when I clicked a box that said I had read and understood everything. It really does pay to read all of the fine print. Lesson learned.

I called back today- surprised the phone number was still in service!!!) they have authorized a 50% refund- I am going to file a fraud report with my credit/debit card co. It may not get me the full refund but it will hopefully help someone else to know that we need to go down every avenue to expose these scammers– and hope we all are a little smarter for getting ‘taken’ in.

The phone number listed for Amore Skin Brightening Face Cream, 888-981-5686 is not a working number.

However I found a number that does work. The correct number is 866-981-5685.

I talked to a live person. After much conversation about I only ordered a free trial, not a subscription, I was finally given a cancellation number and told I would receive an email in 2 days to confirm. Luckily my credit card company caught this and notified me. They did not pay the charge.

    Yeah credit card company!

Rachel, Thank you so much for remaining on the forefront of this issue. The article you were interviewed for is spot on. I am going to send them the screenshot I took of the landing page that lured me into trying a “free sample” for the mere cost of shipping and handling. Nowhere do they disclose that it’s a “trial sample,” and as I mentioned before, the “Terms” was a tiny hyperlink at the bottom of the web page. Thanks to you and the rest of the media, maybe you will be successful in putting an end to these deceptive practices. I am especially dismayed about the wrinkle cream companies using Shark Tank to lure unsuspecting consumers to their landing pages. That’s how I got hooked. Thank you again, Rachel, for your service on behalf of so many people who have been deceived by illegal marketing practices.

I have also been scammed. I ordered Rapid Ageless Serum, free 14 day trial, did not like it at all as it felt so thick and heavy on my skin, cancelled it, but they have no documentation that I cancelled in time. So when it showed up on my bank account, I called right away. Talked to 3 different ladies. The first said there was nothing she could do AT ALL. Called back, the second lady was able to cx my subscription. Thinking it was taken care of, the pending charge on my bank statement said 05/12/17. Checked again today, and now it says 05/11/17 and it’s no longer pending! So, I called them once again, and the lady I talked to this time said there was nothing they could do, at all. I refused to give up. So I asked for someone else. She then said, let me email my supervisor and see if I can help any. Then, a few seconds later said okay, we are not able to accept refunds of products that were used, and we cannot refund your full purchase price, but I can give you back 35% of what you paid, which ended up being like $30 or something. I was so aggravated. Then she said, BUT, you have to agree that there will be no more further action taken in regards to this matter. I finally agreed. It’s better than nothing. But I cannot find anything online about this actual product now. When I search, it pulls up a totally different serum! I did get a confirmation number, and you better believe I’m calling my bank and making sure they know not to let that company take any more money out of my account! Should have known it was too good to be true.

    Hi Kay,
While I appreciate your sentiment, in many cases (including mine) completely false advertising is what compels us to sign up for these products. In my case, Core Skin advertised its product as a Shark Tank winner. The landing page, which I have a screenshot of, calls the trial a “free sample.” The “Terms” link is hidden at the bottom of the page in 8 point (or less) font. (I didn’t even notice the link until I went back and looked.) Their advertising practices are deceptive and against the spirit of the Federal Trade Commission guidelines.

Phoebe, you’re right….we as consumers have the right to full and fair disclosure and these crooks are breaking the law. Did you happen to see my CBS interview? They even site the law which is broken.. Thanks for your comment.

has terms and conditions and I suggest everyone start reading before willingly providing any personal info.. like it does make since nothing is free. If you Google definition of a free trial period it will explain that you.have a certain amount of time upfront to use and test product !if your not able to sit there and read why.your providing your info your responsible people #noaccoutability

I am SO glad I found your site!!! The only reason I tried this product (YS Cream) was it was advertised on Shark Tank. Not so sure it’s accurate now but I cancelled and they have continued to charge me twice. I went back through my cc statements and found the following numbers (all different) for the same company. I have filed a fraud dispute with my cc company and I plan on filing a fraud complaint against the company if I can figure out where they are incorporated. Here are the numbers and then name: ABQ 877-252-6466; 877-905-9622; 877-317-9037; 877-785-8209. If you call these numbers they will also try and tell you that you ordered a product called Nexacell. I have never heard of it but googled it and I can assure you I haven’t ordered it.

WARNING: My teenage son quickly identified this comment as being fake immediately after reading it. He commented, “Senior citizens don’t say, ‘I want to kill myself!’, mom. Only teenagers are that dramatic.” So don’t fall for this one, folks — this comment was intentionally added so you’d read it and think that this scam was YOUR fault for not reading the terms of the agreement, when in reality, the terms were NEVER presented at the point of sale and the whole purchase process was INTENTIONALLY misleading. YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO A REFUND and for your cancellation to be permanent.

I did cancel on day 12 and was given a confirmation number. Yesterday I saw charges in excess of 90.00 on my credit card statement . I called and was told I did not cancel as they have a record of all calls, yet I can prove my phonecall with call log. They were real jerks. I filed dispute for the money with the credit card company, They are using 8773596952 and 8773846952 and 8773484854 and 8773502942. I sure hope this ends and I get my money back. Two phone numbers to cancel Desire Brillance, 1-888-663-0937 and my bank gave me 1-866-413-3810. Filed fraud charges immediately, and filing with the USPS for wire fraud, and shipping fraud. Will be filing fraud report with the Nevada General Attorney’s office. Even though I cancelled they continue to send product and bill my card. My bank doesn’t pay and credits the balance, but I will have to close out my credit card and get a new one to stop the charges.

Cellogica got me! I should’ve known better!! I believed the “as seen on Shark Tank”. The charge on my credit card was by Cell Generation. The phone number was on the bank statement. I signed up for a $2.95 trial, I didn’t read the terms and conditions (oops) so I didn’t know I would be automatically signed up for the renewal program ($144.00/month!). We had one charge for $141.00 which was to pay for the “sample” that I signed up for since I didn’t cancel after 14 days. Then another is pending for $144.00. I looked at their website and it has a 30-day money back guatentee statement, yet no one from customer service seemed to know about that. I called and talked to 4 different people, was hung up on three times, and finally was issued a full refund for the most recent charge, but not for the $141.00 “sample”. I think I’m just going to report the $141.00 as a fraudulent charge to my bank, it’s just not right how these companies scan people! I learned my lesson!!!

I was auto billed almost $400 and didn’t know about the 14 day cancellation. My credit card company hadn’t even mailed my bill yet and I couldn’t get a refund from my company or Derma Devine. It doesn’t work and they used the video from Shark Tank to promote it. It is a scam and I wonder if Shark Tank is aware they are using the video from their show where the sharks all invested in an anti-aging cream. That is what I thought I was ordering. I tried calling the Better Business Bureau, but they said I needed a business address and when I called Derma Devine they wouldn’t give me one or the actual name of the company that answered the phone.

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel April 25, 2017 at 1:58 am - Leave A Comment

Susan, to find out the company who is billing you, look for it on your CC statement. They don’t bill you under Derma Devine, it’s always billed under a different name (part of the confusion). So once you have that, look it up on the BBB and see if you can find them and it will give you an address, maybe a PO Box, but with that you should be able to make a complaint. Shark Tank is aware, I’m actually working right now with a fraud investigator from the Dr. Oz show and she’s working with Barbara Corcoran. Check out this video from the Dr. Oz show where Barbara Corcoran hunts down and confronts one of these crooks using her name to sell their bogus creams. It’s actually pretty funny. Good luck! Rachel

I responded to an offer via an instagram add for SuisseSerum. They swear I agreed to auto shipment and didn’t read their notice. You can’t reason with the foreign people on the phone. Call your credit card company and explain the situation and that you want them to block the charges and block those companies from any further charges. Emails I sent to both companies will not go through. Big surprise!

I ordered what I thought was a sample paying only Shipping & Handling of about $5. The sneaky website apparently also signed me up for a different “free” sample product called Aquavo for $7 for shipping and handling. That’s when I knew there was a problem. When you call the phone numnber in the email, a recording states that, if you wish to cancel your “subscription” (I thought I was only ordered a free sample), you have to send back the trial jar or the company will charge you the full price for it, $38.71! Within minutes, all of those charges were posted to my credit card and I never agreed to it.
I called both company’s 800 numbers and the call was answered by someone in India who said that, if I wanted a refund on the shipping, I would have to talk to the shipping company directly. That’s when I called my VISA company to have them block the charges. Both of these companies are sneaky and obvious ripoffs. This must be the only way they can sell their products is to trick consumers into buying them and signing up for subscriptions they didn’t want.

When I cancelled and asked for a refund the supervisor threatened to take me for collection for $89.99. When I said that wasn’t what I was being charged he said it was a pending charge. Filed a dispute and cancelled my credit card right away. Hope that is the end of it.

He’d it is return merchandise number. I got one ferocious Aura Youth. Mailed my two trials samples back. Hope I never hear from again. I called the 800 number on the jar for Auta Youth. It was 800-980-9947. It was billed to my credit card under Derma Allure and My Wrinkle Lifter. Each was $4.95. There was also a charge of $1.99 that they said was for insurance. That was billed under Perfect Skin Fast. Why isn’t the Federal Trade Commission stopping these scams?

Thanks for your blog! Fell for the Derma Folia scam through a link on Facebook. Called my bank immediately and got the number.

They are doing business under the name Web Fit Today. They say my account is cancelled and gave me a confirmation number but have not sent the confirmation email they promised. I have already called back about not receiving the email and will keep calling until I get the email. Not sure I should trust just having a confirmation number.

I was scammed along with others. It really surprised me because I “thought” I was so careful reading all the small print. Anyway, HydraSkin must have to change their phone number numerous times. There were 2 different phone numbers for the “free” trials on my bank website. One was disconnected the other is different than the one you have on your cancellation phone list. I called (855) 807-2471. I received an RMA to return the product. I am to be reimbursed only when the product has been received and I have to call them with the RMA number to have them process the reimbursement. BTW – there’s a $20.00 restocking fee too!

I told my bank charge back my money. Scammed with the trial skin product also. It is called Aura Youth enriching under eye cream and second jar is ageless moisturizer. I called the 800 number on the bottles. 800-980-9947. Supposedly I was able to cancel and send the products back. The box they came in was from Alabama but the company is in California. She said to mail them back separately and gave me an address in Florida. I requested a confirmation email. It none yet. I will contact my credit card company next. Wish me luck. Rachel, I have come across another one, it is Eunisse facial sirum. I called in to cancel prior my trial day is over, demanded cancelation e-mail, they did not sent it. I called back a few days latter to confirm, it was canceled, but they still billed it to me, and now they claiming that they do not have my first call record! The second call was done after 14 days, and that is why they charged me! I was firm that I talked to supervisor, but he talk me to never call back again! I got scammed from an add on Instagram advertised by Macy’s going out of business sale. Stated they were closing stores and liquidation sale. Advertised 4 products. La Mer, which was sold out. Lancôme, also sold out and 2 I hadn’t ever heard of, but they advertised it as a product made by La Mer, so I was hooked. Low prices, so I ordered and got an email stating I had asked for expedited shipping, not true. I then told them to cancel my order, but received it a few days later. Oh, they also had a count down next to the products of how many were left. I went back after I ordered and the count had started over. My bank contacted me and questioned the charge and I had not to my knowledge ordered any $97 something like that cream. I called the number the bank provided and held for over an hour, the customer rep told me the long wait was due to a sale they were having(LOL) Turns out it was the Illum cream that I supposedly ordered indefinitely and would charge me monthly for. She then offered me half off and I declined and I thought she had canceled it. Two weeks later another $97… charge hits my bank. I call a different number with a different company name called Tiki and tell my story again. I get nowhere and get out through to a supervisor who talks over me entire conversation until I start yelling and he continues to talk. Told him that I was reporting them for deceptive trade practices, which I did. Got a call back from another customer rep asking me to call her back and she would help me w refund, but half way through her leaving her number, it went silent, so the number was interrupted. And a different number entirely than the one I had called earlier. I’m now calling my credit card and reporting fraud. I have another number to add to the list for Illum skin care or Tikis, names and numbers keep changing!!!

I came across an article about 2 women who turned down all 5 sharks on Shark Tank then got backing from a large company for their BioDermRX facial cream. There was an offer for a free trial to the right of the article. I showed it to my wife and she wanted to try it so I filled out the order which said it was for BioDermRX all the way through but when I clicked on order it changed to Novellus Naturals Skin Cream. I received the order today. I immediately called Novellus Naturals 888-207-1750 and told them I did not get the BioDermRX. First Julie told me it was a great product. When I insisted that this is not what I ordered, she said I didn’t have to return it and could keep it for $29.95. I insisted I didn’t want it and to not send me anything else until she gave me a cancellation number. I will watch my credit card for any charges.

Rachel, Thank you so much for putting this list together! I just ordered the “free” trial from Core Skin Care out of Toronto and am sorry I didn’t see your blog first! I got a slightly different number from BBB than the one you have listed: 866-845-0117. I will be on the phone with them first thing in the morning to cancel my “subscription.” Although their website carries the proper disclosure about how this is a monthly membership that will be renewed at such and such an amount, I could swear that I did not see that information on the landing page I originally signed up on (and I usually look for the small print). It sure feels like a scam to me. Thanks again for all your work putting this blog post together. I can’t believe there are so many companies out there trying to scam unsuspecting consumers.

I clicked on the shark tank ad for Luna Bella cream and they added another instalift product during my checkout without my authorization. Once I saw that in the purchase confirmation, I started digging in their terms and conditions and realized what I had just “agreed” to. I have canceled that debit card and had a new one issued. Is this all I need to do? They can’t take any money out of my account and can’t put anything on my credit report. Do I have to try to find their phone numbers still?

Thank you, Rachel, for supplying the number to cancel Revitalize!!! I had NO idea they would charge me beyond the trial. I happened to learn about that part by chance when another ad popped up and someone in the comments gave a huge warning. I did the research and saw all the negative reviews. Now I feel really stupid, but I guess I’m not alone.
Luckily, I only just got my free trial the other day, so I called the number you supplied and was able to cancel today. I’ll still be charged $31.76 for the “free” trial because, trying to send it back seemed impossible since they didn’t give me an address to send it to!!!
However, I was told that my account is now cancelled and NO further charges or shipments will occur and I was given a cancellation #.
Whew! So, I just spent about $43 for this “free” product, but I dodged a much more expensive bullet.
It’s a shame, because it seems like a pretty nice serum. why don’t they just market it honestly? *sigh*

  72. Heather March 27, 2017 at 3:32 pm - Leave A Comment

    (855) 549-2157 is a number to add to your list. This is for SkinOpulent. I am currently filing a dispute with my credit card company because they still charged me even though I canceled. They were pretty smart about it. I emailed to cancel within 14 days, they didnt respond until after 14 days & that email response only said they couldn’t read my original email & to email or call for further support. I hate talking on the phone, so I chose the email option to re-send my request for cancelling. A few days later they said call their number. I called & got some lady who was dancing around what I was saying & trying to tell me that I didn’t read their terms & conditions & that their emails strictly say to call because they don’t always get emails timely… false. There was still an email option. Eventually after going back & forth she agreed to cancel my subscription & sent me a cancellation number. Of course before that she offered me 50% off… i told her no & that i didn’t even know the 100% cost. Eventually she told me what the 50% cost was and I was like yeah no. We’ll see how this dispute goes. I wish I could have seen your site before I fell into the trap.

I fell for the false ad a few days ago and realized my mistake instantly when I clicked terms and conditions immediately after confirming my purchase. I have tried calling and emailing the number but they don’t show a record of my purchase yet. Yeah, right.
Instead they want to search using my credit card number which I wouldn’t do.

File a fraud dispute with your credit card company or bank. I’m seeing this happen more and more lately. If they charged you the $4.95 s&H fee, you can bet your ass they have your information and plan on charging you the full price on day 14. Day 1 was the day you ordered. Good luck! Rachel

Are all these different company names one in the same? They all have the same gimmick. NaturaCel conned me, and didn’t answer phones. Waited 21 days to respond to email (as in a billing cycle), but I’d already cancelled my CC. They used intimidating tactics and said they’d refund me only if I agreed to reverse the dispute of my CC transaction. I opted instead to file a complaint with the Delaware BBB and with my state’s attorney general’s office. The AG office is writing a letter on my behalf. In their email, NaturaCel claimed they win 70 percent of the cases and will monitor the IP addresses I visit. The links I connected to on FB are dead now. Totally scammed. It’s embarrassing, and I’m guessing there are thousands of us out there who are too embarrassed to pursue righting the wrong.

Thanks for your comment Bobby. It’s a whole ton of different companies, you did the right thing by reporting. Don’t feel bad, they are total crooks and use very deceptive marketing. They need to be shut down! I’m working on it…. did you see my CBS interview? It’s just a short segment…but this is exploding and I’m happy to be a part of it. Hi Rachael,
Your name popped up on my screen as I was filling out my name and address and information that preceded the page asking for credit card information to order a “free trial” cream. I had my doubts but was considering the order. However, I decided to read the article that you suggested. After seeing that you could be billed for the product above and beyond the trial period and without your authorization as well, I decided not to go through with the otder and did not give out my credit card numbers to them..
Your article is extremely informative and so I thank you very much for information which ultimately deterred me from making a big mistake..
I am curious however to see if they try to contact me anyhow because they have my name, address and telephone number.

Hi Marlene, I LOVE hearing stories like this. It’s sad that I mostly hear from people AFTER they get scammed, so thank you so much for sending me this message. They usually try phoning you right away if you back out of the order, so be aware…and be sure and hang up on them after you tell them you’re reporting them to the BBB and the FTC. The FTC can shut them down. Rachel

        Hi Rachael,
Thank you for replying to me! Even more important, Thank You for the informative blob. Your research and advice stopped me from making a financial mistake. What is also extremely suspicious about the creams ( in my case, the particular eye cream”) which is supposed to make bags disappear temporarily, is the fact that the cream is under different names which makes it almost impossible to find the correct eye cream that was so deftly shown on TV.
At any rate, your blog was truly influential in helping me make the correct decision and protected me from lots of aggravation which would have occurred had I placed an order.

Thank you so much for the extremely helpful info. Like many others I ordered the anti- aging cream named Clairskin. In the order I also ended up ordering eye cream Revive Eye. I didn’t think I had completed order and tried to back out after giving my info. I saw that my account was charged $4.95, $5.99 and $1.99. This occurred yesterday. Today I saw the same Shark Tank Ad but with a different name for the products. I then read your post and what to do. Bank charges were under completely different names PROSEBEAUTY instead of Clair Skin, (844-965-5226) and Beauty Omni instead of Revive Eye. (844-966-0526). I called and talked to a rep. I told her I wanted to cancel the order and be refunded. I also said I wanted email confirmation. She said she could cancel but could not email. I argued that they could send a confirmation when I ordered. I complained I would just have to call the BBS. She then put me on hold. After a very short time, she came back and cancelled everything and refunded fees. Emailed me receipts for all. I asked about the $1.99 I was charged. Apparently it’s insurance? Didn’t ask for it but didn’t complain.. Without your info. I would probably be stuck with the scam. Thanks

I clicked on a shark tank ad about their Vlamorous cream for spots for $4.95 +$1 for this roll on dark circle stuff. Order from Beauty Vita. Got charged the next day for .99 and $3.95. A couple of weeks later they charged $96.83. I canceled my card and then they tried to authorize an additional $100 multiple times. Then then called me when they couldn’t collect saying they were from the US treasury and i’ve been chosen as a homeowner in the area to receive $9000 if I give my cc info or bank acct info.i refused and ask for the foreign woman’s number and asked where she really was calling from. She hung up. Disputing charges with bank now. They make up fake accounts for your product and that you’re a prior customer. Huge scam!

I responded to Skin Scientific Revitalizing Moisturizer 844-238-3073 for a free trial of Skin Solution Cream & Skin Solution Eye Serum w/ shipping of $4.95 & 4.99.

First box arrived w/ additional Skin Scientific Vit C ($24.95) which I hadn’t ordered. Had called immediately when my email confirmation arrived showing it to say I didn’t want it. My credit card only showed the shipping charges for 2 items.

Then a 2nd box arrived. I didn’t open it as I could see that from the label that it only had 2 items and I could refuse it w/ the post office and not have to pay return shipping.

When I called Skin Scientific they were obnoxious and said that free trial didn’t mean that the items were free for only the shipping costs and if I didn’t want to continue receiving, I’d have to wait 14 days to cancel auto-reorder. This is totally fraudulent.

After being very emphatic and persistent, she said they’d cancel the reorder. I’ve also entered a dispute with my Credit Card. BEWARE ! ! !

hi Rachel.. Just to show how these companys change their names even on the same invoice: DermaSkincream -855-309-5293….product name Advanced Skin DIRECFACECREAM-877-564-8170..prod. name Skin Balance. GLOWSKINGLOBAL.COM-866-312-5559. prod.name -Skin Balance. GETSKINREADY.COM-866-650-6838.Prod.name Advance Skin. I am in Canada and i have the added expense of the money exchange rate so things get more costly for me. They charged .99 each for insurance which i have never had in the past. I didn’t know what it was for till I phoned them. Also I got the first bottle Feb.2nd, but not the other product till Feb. 9th. and called and told them had only just received the cream, but it was 1 day late of the 14day trial to cancell, and they would do nothing for me. I am going to call again after call my Bank. I’m not sure what the price of these creams were when I ordered the trial but think they were around 89.95 0r so but the charges on my invoice were $147.44 U.S. AND $140.99 U.S. i really dont know how to find out the original prices on their advertisement? I am going to call again…I’m not finished with them, but I have learned that I will never buy anything ever again from the computer. also one other thing regarding the small instructions they hide so you don’t see till it’s too late…..the trial 14 days starts the same day you order it !!!!! not when you receive it. Ladies BEWARE of all these advertisements. They had billed my account card before I had even received the face cream!!!! Well; I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON TOO, as another lady said in her comment. They would only refund 35% of the charges for the product they subsequently sent me, even though I wanted to send it back for a full refund.
    Thanks again!

Do not buy the Vinetics Skin Cream “trial”. The terms and conditions state you are provided your first 30 day supply, but then I was billed full price 18 days after placing the order and told by customer service that they would not refund my money because they had a 17 day cancellation period, but refused to tell me where in writing I could find this. When I kept asking where this was stated in writing, the woman on the phone, Karen, hung up on me. The company already violated their own terms and conditions policy by stating they will ship your order the day after you place it because my email confirms it was shipped 2 days after I ordered it and it was the middle of the week, no where near the weekend. I have also tried emailing the company and they refuse to respond to my inquiry regarding a refund and where I can find this “17 day” cancellation policy in writing. The product does not work and I can’t believe anyone is actually endorsing it.

I need a phone number to cancel for Bella Beauty and Spark serum. I answered an ad on FB and was robbed. The products that came were boxed as Beauty Wrinkle Reducer

  92. Mary Athena March 4, 2017 at 11:12 am - Leave A Comment

Rachel, I was scammed a couple years ago by Revivatol cream and Dermology serum free samples for $4.95 SH..
Reccomended by Dr. Oz. These products do not appear on your phone list, probably because they have moved on to new names. Fortunately Bank of America credit card fraud division charged back the $75.00 charge on my card. A full size jar of skin cream was shipped to me after only 2 weeks.
There was absolutely NO fine print on the website page where I placed my order!! However , when the Bank investigated, the page they accessed did have the fine print.
I insisted that it was false and misleading advertising and they backed me up. I realize now how lucky I was and how stupid to fall for what looked like an offer to buy a sample to try. i had to agree to return the unopened cream, which I did. I followed the advice of the Bank, but can’t recall all the details now.
Re: filing a complaint on line with the BBB and /or National Chamber of Commerce: it really does get results when all else fails because I was ripped off for a product I never received. a pet odor removal product. advertised on TV only. No way to contact company, bogus tel number. I left an email complaint and a few weeks later a box with 4 bottles arrived..no return address, no invoice or packing slip…this was 4X the amt of product I ordered! Beware of ordering anything over the phone!! Even if you say NO to special additional offers, they could still sign you up. After ordering hosiery from a very well known company, I discovered I had also “joined” a magazine club. It took a letter to the FTC to get my $ refunded. Thank you for your website..I was just browsing tonight and recalled my experiences and wanted to share and encourage folks to not give up and keep fighting to get your money back. And in the future, shop on line with a reputable company like Amazon, which has first class customer service and backs up every purchase. Tks M

Mary, thanks so much for your comment. You did the right thing by filing complaints to the BBB, FTC, etc. Another good one is your state’s attorney general’s office. They share info amongst states so when there’s a trend about scams, they all seem to share info and can take more action. Amazon is good for some things – never Ebay for beauty products because you don’t know how people are storing things and what condition they are in. The links I provide on my reviews to my recommended products are also good companies with good reputations whom I’ve dealt with for years. Your right about the Dr. Oz cream name changing – they seem to change daily and I can hardly keep my list up to date! Rachel

I was scammed too by Rejuvenem. I ordered for this free trial , paid for the shipping and when I received my credit card bill, I was charged $ 259.85 which include Zanu Green Coffee that I never ordered. I called the numbers on my bill and learn that these 2 companies are the same. I was asking for refund but the person just said that the 14 day trial is over, so have to pay the whole amount then hung up on me. I searched the internet and saw their email address, sent an email but I got a message that mail is not delivered. I am upset, working very hard just to be scammed.
Thank you so much for this web site. If only I’ve seen this site before I ordered the free trial, this should not have happened. I LEARNED MY LESSON.

Do not buy vinetics C…it is totally a scam. I know better and was sucked in by the “risk free trial”. There is nothing special about this cream and it’s 95.00/month. The S&H is charged and 14 days later the full price and auto shipments. Don’t get sucked in!! The terms and agreements are in small small fine print not easy to read or find. You can not ship back a bottle for a refund either…they refuse to take it back and refuse to credit you…FYI…stay away!!!

  95. RT March 1, 2017 at 2:43 pm - Leave A Comment

Thanks for the information. I was scammed by Vinetics C. I noticed the charge of $89.79 on by credit card bill today. I called to inquire and slipped on their slippery slope! I will dispute the charge with my credit card company for good measure. I was also trying to find the address to this company to no avail for BBB purposes. Lastly, the cream does NOT work as it states. I’m highly disappointed that SHARK TANK would put their stamp of approval on this item/marketing/scam and deceive the general public.

This company is a scam. Even after calling to cancel I was still charged $186. When I called a second time, I was told there is no record of my call, therefore they would only refund $156. No wonder they stay in business when they do not give a full refund even when you call! This product did not work any better than an over the counter moisturizer. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT

On the page where you fill out the order form, you must scroll all the way to the very bottom and in small print you will see Term and Conditions. That is where you will find the small print on charges automatically charged to your credit card. One red flag I look for when dealing with any of these type of products is if they don’t offer paypal as a payment method, that means they want access to your money. What was really strange was moments after I exited the page, they actually called me! That just creeps me out!

When I called the last one to cancel, at first I got a message that the company was discontinued, then on second try i got a foreign person I could barely understand. Thanks so much for the information here. The number didn’t work for the Beauty Wrinkle Cream (The Shark Tank people) “membership” I somehow fell into. I’m out about $200 and didn’t realize it. I did call the number on my credit card statement and got some results (866) 935-5654. I am getting a refund of the shipment I got today and 50% of the charge from last month that I didn’t even know I incurred! I’d received my “free sample” in December, but was told that since I didn’t return it within 14 days, I got charged the full price for it in January. So I’m getting 50% back of that charge. What a scam… I’m calling my bank and asking them to put a block on my credit card for these people to make sure they don’t charge me again next month! Ugh! I knew better than to try this stuff, but took my chances anyway and now paying for it…. hope this helps others!

I received Eyecare TRZ and Extensive cream (AM cream) for I thought $4.95.
I did not get the bank charge until 14 days after the order. Two charges were $89.63 and $89.58. I called my bank to dispute the charges then called the numbers on the bank posting, 888-732-7471 and 888-732-4303. I got 35% credit ($31.35) on the one charge and 75% ($67.22) off the AM cream. The number on the AM cream box was 877-671-0327 which is the number they said I should call instead of the one on the bank posting.I asked why the charge took 14 days to be on my bank statement. No response. They said I had a 14 day trial to call them and why didn’t I read the fine print? I said I was looking for the $4.95 charge and it never posted. I feel stupid for not reading the small print at the bottom. None of those 3 numbers are on the list above.

Shirley, sometimes yes. Sometimes people get lucky and the company will agree to refund a portion of the charge. If you have a good credit card, sometimes they’ll refund you ALL the money and block further charges. Sometimes people just get screwed out of $100’s, which is the usual story. Rachel

However wanted the product back or there would be more chargers. I just reciecved the products today and I am sending them back to Singapore. In the email they said they need to recieve it within 30 days. I have tried to call them no answer, emailed them no answer. Can they still charge me even though I cancelled it? Should I send the product back with tracking?? Please adevise. Thanks

I just called 1-855-772-7556 to dispute a charge for Vlamorous. When I signed up (off of Cosmoolitans website) it said nothing about a recurring charge. I made sure I read it over and over. I just got a $98 charge on my card. I called and demanded a refund. The guy said only a 30% refund can be issued, then he went to 50%, then after I complained more I got the full 100% refund. This is ridiculous. He said I agreed to the terms, when there was nothing stated about auto-replenishment, and nothing in the paper about it either. My advice…keep trying and you should get your refund. Im just hoping that I do get it!

Yes, Mom fell for the free trial of Clair Skin and also Revive Eye. Total scam. Her debit card has been charged $177 – which includes 89 dollars for something called ABP*MuscleStamina, and 88 dollars for “PrismSkin. I called and they cancelled the account, but I will see if I can get at least a partial refund from the bank, and will call BBB.
Here is a list of the relevant phone numbers:
    PrismSkin 844-965-8566.
    ABP*MuscleStamina 844-965-5246
    ReviveEye 844-324-0044
    Clair skin 844-965-6806

It does SEEM that all are the same company because I called the MuscleStamina # after cancelling the account at PrismSkin, and the operator said the account had indeed been cancelled.

    Neuphoric and reawaken
I won the battle today. Called to cancel both. I have 4 boxes unopened 2 of each. I called to cancel and return. Cancelled. Then another number to return. First guy said it’s on web site a 9.95$ return fee. Sorry nowhere does it say that. He gave me an RA # to return but I wanted to see the return fee in writing. Got cut off. Next guy said he would drop price in half. I said no return and credit. He could not do a supervisor after about 29 minutes on hold. She said they do not give RA#. Well guy just did. She could find no where it said return fee and they had 3 websites. Long story. I get to keep and dispose of all product with a full credit for all four boxes. With confirmation email in my inbox.

Be persistent. And quickly print terns and conditions before they correct them

Hope this helps. Be kind and polite and you may win

June, good for you! You have to be tough with these crooks and don’t take no for an answer. They DON’T want to get supervisors on the phone and they will dodge you and offer you discounts to avoid that. Gotta play hardball even if it takes being on hold for 30 minutes like you did. Good job! ~Rachel

Thanks for this information. I ordered a free trial of Satin Youth wrinkle cream and Satin Youth instant wrinkle reducer. I immediately regretted it and looked online to find the website and phone number and found tons of stories of people who were scammed. Unfortunately today is a bank holiday but I sent the fraud department an email to explain what happened. I also called customer service for Satin Youth and after several calls I got a human being and told them I just placed a trial order but I want to cancel it. Now I am within the 14 days since I just ordered a few hours ago. I was told that my order was cancelled and sent emails confirming the cancellation. If they end up charging the $10 that’s fine but if I get any additional charges I will be really angry (I cleaned that up for general viewing). Wish me luck.

    Rachel,
Thank you so much for posting this information. I thought I was too smart to fall for this info. Saw a posting on Facebook, and advertisement for free trial and thought why not try it. Okay now I know why not. There is no way that it advised me of a recurring monthly subscription. Well live and learn. The product was Beauty Wrinkle Reducer and I found their number on your website to cancel, which is great since I did not get anything from them with a customer support number.

Thank you for your post and I “liked” it :).

I’m trying to help my mom get her money back. Thankfully they refunded $100, but she is still out the other $100.

We filed a credit card dispute, but the company fought back. These people are so good they have screenshots of their bogus proof.

So now I’m stuck on how to respond because of course the website is already down from what my mom purchased.

I like the advise you provided in the article though thank you.

These companies are so good at keep on changing their names and using celebrities and having all their proof ready it’s incredible. I really hope that someone finds away to stop them one day.

Hi Deanna, thanks so much for your comment and for the like! 🙂 I’m sorry your mom got caught up in this scam, they are awful! The websites disappear before you can find them again, or the links flip to new cream scams. If you’ve filed a fraud dispute and your credit card is saying tough luck since you agreed to the “hidden” terms and conditions, that stinks. Some credit card companies are more helpful than others. Some of them will refund your money and put a block on them. You are luck that the cream company even reversed the $100 charge honestly. There are so many companies using fake quotes and pictures of Kelly Rippa. It was Dr. Oz for the longest time, and still is, but more so Kelly Rippa right now! ~Rachel

First of all I’d like to Thank you so very much, Rachel, for all that you do & how informational your website is! I unfortunately purchased a 30-day trial of Nuriva Advanced Revitalizing Serum and Renaderm Super Collagen Eye Cream that supposedly was being endorsed by Dr. Oz & Christy Brinkly. I fell for it, and if it wasn’t for your site I still would not known that it was a fraud. On your list of phone #’s I do not find these specific items. Tomorrow I will try a phone # that is on the bottles, which indicates 844-888-3832, manufactured for: Flores J Corp., Los Angeles, CA 90026. I pray I”m successful in canceling this. Please advise with any other suggestions or numbers. Thank you in advance.

Scammed through Facebook Ad… Ordered Yuva Advanced Anti Aging Cream and Premium Eye Serum. Have spent at least 2 hours today trying to track down someone to issue a refund or a RMA. I didn’t realize that I was signing up for a monthly trial of the products. I thought I was getting trial versions of the product. I was shocked to see on my credit card that I wasn’t charged the roughly $14 dollar fee I expected but that I was charged, close to $200. I called to say I thought it was trial sizes not a trial period. The info was hidden in their terms and conditions which also spells out the ability to return within 30 days and request an RMA. I can’t help be feel I’ve been screwed. I can’t help but feel this is a ponzi scheme. So far the companies I have found associated with this stupid product have been: on credit card statement these two companies Inner Clean 980791-0099 – QFL antiagcrm and QFL advancedeye 800 537-3267 – Nuway Living was the only email receipt I received – https://advancedantiagingcream.com/ and on the label of the product it says Yuva Forever. This must be a front for some illegal activity or some companies trying to avoid taxes. I have tried to talk with a supervisor but one won’t be available until after 3pm PST. All the websites refer to a company in NJ but the call center is in Mountain Time. Uggg I hate these people and this process. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. I can’t even find the corporate company info.

Visage Skin Care Shop, showing up as MSO*VISAGESKINCARESHOP or MGIHTSY*VISAGESKINCAR … 3.95 “Free Trial Shipping-Only Cost” turns into a 99.95 charge for a 0.5 oz (15 mL) bottle!!! I had to do some looking to find their information. Their website is at beautewrinklereducer.net, and their customer service number is 844-388-3475.

What I truly *love* about these companies is that they are predators. I am a caregiver, and the women I see targeted almost relentlessly (4 times in the last year for one woman) are the elderly. Not only do they prey on these women’s desire to sustain any kind of youthful appearance and the beauty attached, they are preyed on for their resources and the often-found lack of knowledge as to how to fight these frauds. Truly despicable.

A few more numbers to add to that list…

    Radiancy – 1-877-753-1486
    Vita Clara – 1-888-991-3583

After seeing blog I wanted to see if a particular add I’ve seeing Is part of this new trend.

The ad claims All five Sharks on Shark Tank invested in this anti-aging face cream on air. The first time I seen the ad they were promoting an anti ageing skin care product called me Radiancy Serum. Anyhoo, I do a google search and find the ad about all 5 sharks investing in anti-aging face cream and the product is now called Collagen Serum nor Radiancy. Hmm interesting. It looked like the same product with a different name. I thought that seemed a little fishy. I went through the motions as if to place an order and sure enough in very tiny print is a disclaimer stating that by submitting I was agreeing to enroll in membership at $98 month in recurring product shipments.

That’s how they get ya… they don’t expect you to read that fine print. Not sure the Sharks on shark tank had anything to do with this ad at all.

DO NOT ORDER!! AND DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY TELL YOU! DEMAND A CANCELLATION ASAP!!
Yes, I called in days after receiving this crap.. and wanted to cancel cause I knew I did not want it. They told me they would extend the trail for 30 days and I could call back and canceled. I called back in on the 14th day to canceled and was told if I canceled early there was an early cancellation fee of $9.95 and I had to wait for the 6th (which was tomorrow)through the 12th to cancel, which would have been the 15th day… I said that was ridiculous. He told me it was on the website… He said the website was trynexacell.com and I said that is not even where I ordered from I ordered from activefaceserum.com and there was no mentioned of a $9.95 early cancellation fee! And now I have gone through their policy and there is no term in there as such. So I called another number on my receipt (and if you notice there are quite a few different numbers connected to all this) she verified there was NO such charge and he was just confused, and I said well it was BS because I was calling on the 14th day. She said oh well he is new. She just kept saying well your order is canceled. Then she had the nerve to ask if there was anything else she could help me with.

I talked to Cole M. this second time I called and he kept talking over me, lying to me about some early cancellation fee and then had the nerve to call me rude when I became upset and told him what I thought! When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told his supervisor was not in… I told him someone in charge had to be available. I said regardless if you get me, someone, now or not I guarantee you I will be speaking with someone in charge today. Then miraculously his supervisor just walked in… So then he kept putting me on hold and every couple of seconds saying 1-minute ma’am (which I asked him not to call me) i will transfer you in a minute, like deliberately trying to invoke me! So his supervisor Mark B. id # 0411 got on the line and finally said he canceled my order and I would not be shipped any fees or any more charges. Because he knew the whole early cancellation fee was BS especially considering I was calling on the 14th day.

Also, when I ordered I was positive I did not check the $1.95 for added insurance and somehow I was charged for that which I called and canceled that as soon as I got my receipt!

Grrr… I was checking my checking account, & saw $98.00 taking out of my account, I found out it was one of those free sample scams, I do not remember reading any fine print about 14 day trial, Iam not happy I had finally found this list, thank you, so I called (Alucia) & of course I spoke to someone that doesn’t speak very good English, I told her I can not afford this product, & it better really good stuff for that price, & she also informed me that I would need to cancel before, next month, I don’t have money to do this every month… I could of cancelled my card, but then I would have to wait, very frustrating, there has to be another way..?

I ordered a “free” bottle of Clair Skin, and also their eye cream. I was charged 90.00 EACH for these items less than 10 days after I received it. I called to complain and was told that it’s not a FREE trial, but a sample and I agreed to pay this ridiculous amount when I checked a box on my screen. I hadn’t had a chance to try it, as I was sick, and had about 4 days to use it.
I called and was told I couldn’t get a refund, they would give me a credit of 35% each, and wouldnt give me the name or address of the parent company.
Is there anyone I can contact about this? Is the Better Business Bureau aware of these scams? I would like to make their lives miserable for these kind of scams.

Not a question, however, here is the correct number for Image Revive. The one you list doesn’t work (at least not in Canada). They don’t give you this one until your order is on its way. That way you can’t cancel when you realize this is just another internet scam. 1-844-340-2713.
