Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer Review

Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer ReviewVitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer Overview

We all want to find that perfect anti aging skin cream that makes us look and feel years younger.  But does it exist?  There are so many options out there, it’s hard to know what works, what doesn’t, and what’s worth our time and money to find out.  One way to weed through all the hype is to find out from reputable sources which active ingredients work, then choose a product that uses those ingredients.  Peptides are one such ingredient.  They help form collagen, and they are the active ingredients in Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer.

Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer Ingredients and How it Works

Collagen is what gives young skin its firmness and elasticity.  As we get older, our production of collagen slows down, and the result is thinner skin that is more susceptible to the effects of gravity.  Peptides are tiny protein fragments that form naturally in the skin when collagen breaks down.  They signal to your skin cells that it’s time to produce more collagen.  The theory is that if you apply peptides to your skin, you can encourage an increase in collagen production.

One of the active ingredients in Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer, which is often paired with a wrinkle cream called Aqualift Wrinkle Serum, is a peptide called Matryxl.  It also contains moisturizing and nourishing agents such as Shea Butter and Mango. You simply apply Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer to clean, dry skin twice a day, morning and night.  Make sure you allow it to absorb fully before moving on to your makeup application because collagen production occurs at the cellular level. The company claims that you will see some results immediately, and extraordinary results can be achieved in 28 days.

Pros and Cons of Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer

With so many anti-aging products to choose from, it is important to consider all the pros and cons before making a purchase.

Advantages of Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer

  • The active ingredient in Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer is known to aid in collagen production, which can help skin look younger and firmer.
  • Vitaderm claims that it has been tested and is recommended by dermatologists.
  • Vitaderm offers a free 18 day trial.

Disadvantages of Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer

  • There is no Vitaderm website, and there doesn’t appear to be a company behind the product.  It is hard to spend money on a product when so little can be known about who is responsible for it.
  • Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer is only available online through a what they call a free 18-day trial.  But the trial is not really free at all.  When you order the free trial, you are also signed up for their monthly auto-delivery program.  Here’s how it works.  If you don’t call Vitaderm and cancel before the 18-day trial period is up, you will be charged $79.99 for the “free trial” product that you received.  And they will continue to ship, and charge $79.99 for, more product each month.  It’s called a “negative option” free trial period, and it is a common, yet somewhat underhanded, marketing ploy to get unsuspecting customers locked into recurring charges that they never intended to sign up for.

Where to Buy Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer

The only way to buy Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer is through its “free trial” offer online.  If you’re interested, do a search for “vitaderm reviews” and follow the links to sign up for the offer.  They advertise that Vitaderm is available in stores in Europe, but I was unable to find evidence of that online.

Conclusion

While it seems that the ingredients in Vitaderm Anti Aging Moisturizer may be able to improve the look of your skin, the company and the marketing of the product don’t seem reliable.  The terms of the “free trial” offer are so specifically restrictive, and actually quite deceptive.  It’s not really a free trial at all.  Unless you call and cancel within a very short window of time, you actually pay for the “free” product that you received.  There are lots of choices when it comes to anti-aging skin products.  I would try to find something with a reputable company behind its claims.

Good God!! People want to know if this product works or not. We do not need another story of how somebody cancelled or failed to cancel the damned order. Does anybody out there have any insight into the functionality of the product???

    hi,
I read all the reviews about vitaderm.i tried the cream when my mother in law gave it to me.she had cancelled her order and didn’t want the cream anymore so I tried it and I was amazed by the results.it was probably the best cream I had ever used for my face.i tried to find it again but it seems no website that vitaderm was sold by is still working.do you know where I can find it?is it still available?and do they still have the same policy like charging your account every two weeks for the next purchase?i would appreciate any information.thanks!

Great product. I called and cancelled 5 days after ordering as it I states clearly cancellation and billing conditions. I only received the products on day 20. Nothing in life is for free, there is a catch and there are options. Great product and didn’t cost anything more than the cheap shipping cost. Cheers!!!

Hi, I also ordered the product which arrived in a timely fashion, only I had to ship it to my mother, who than had to ship it to me in Europe as the company does not ship to military. I was unaware that the product would be billed monthly and that it would be so expensive, when I called to cancel, they offered me the same products which they were charging 160$ per month for 19.99$. Had they done that in the first place I imagine that less people would be so apt to cancel. From reading these reviews it also appears that there is no continuity in their charging practices. So, despite how good the product may or may not work, I refuse to do business with such a shady company. Thanks

My wife let her guard down and ordered the free trial, (big mistake) did not read the fine print (of course) (lot people don’t) the order arrived, she never called and canceled. before she even had a chance to try it, another order was on the way and her credit card had 260.00 in charges! Needless to say I called in and argured for 35 minutes and got 239.00 bucks back.
After they tried to tell me for 30 minutes that they could only give me 154.00 refund back on the card. keep pushing them they will do it.
    Or stay awya all together.

I am not sure what all the complaining is about? I ordered the trial Aqualift, RejuvEye and the Aqualift. I started using the products around
February 6th or so. I have enjoyed the results. My age spots have lighted and my skin feels and looks smooth and tighter. The puffiness under my eyes have subsided a lot. I like these products and I think I will keep using them. As a matter of fact I am recommending these products to a friend who asked me what I used for my skin.

Now I did get caught up in the cancel in 18 days thing. But that was my fault, because I did not read the whole agreement. I ended up paying for the 2 products but not charged for the RejuvEye Cream because I called in time before I was going to be charged. I had no problem with them cancelling my reoccurring order. They were very nice on the phone and offered me a discount if I should want to reorder. I like the products and I just my do that.

I just called and cancelled after 4 days of use…thank you all for the info. It appears to have gone smoothly with 2 cancellation numbers given to me. For those who can not get through I called from South western canada at 12:30 A.M. They DO say they are available 24 hours a day.

  • Ethel Howell

I called the telephone numbers given in an earlier comment, and had no problem getting my account cancelled. Thanks so much for the information…….WHEW!!

  • Hidden Price

Thats the first trial offer I’ve come across that didnt include the cost of monthly auto-ship $62/$74each +ship. One of two toll-free#’s will cancel everything. Further beware the trial offer does not come with formal information on your next months shipment that would bring some to believe they are getting strictly trial ONLY.

I ordered the free trial for aqualift and vitaderm using a prepaid visa. So they have no way to bill me for any future deliveries. Have been using the products for about 7 days, do not see anything yet but will keep using.

February 9, 2012 at 2:43 Good afternoon, I would like to know, if someone try those products, does it work or not.
I don’t understand why many of you cancel, maybe I didn’t catch the problem, I would like to know why, please

Waiting for some response, I received those products yesterday.

      Hey Michele,
The main problem most women have cancelled the trial is because the company only gives you about 10 days to try it out, which is hardly long enough to determine whether or not it is effective. Read the fine print of the product, they start billing you after 14 days or so.

Wow that was fast and hassle-free..If all could be that easy
to cancel a product.I only ordered the aqualift and was going to get the vitaderm until i saw these postings. Thank you all for saving me from
having to hear my husband tell me i told ya so!

I just ordered their two free samples for under $5.00…but said No Thank You to the free trial of another item (because of the option to receive more on a monthly basis). I knew from past experiences this could become a hassle After that I looked them up and felt a bit dumb that I didn’t do research first before giving out all my information. Hopefully I don’t have to worry since I did not accept the free trial part of it; But, just for peace of mind, I immediately called my card company to ask what should be done if I see charges other than was agreed. She said they already put through the $4.92 transaction and for me to keep a watch on my internet/account so I can call promply if they add more fees.

I read all awful experiences in unauthorized charging credit cards. I’m still waiting to see if anyone can share in actually using the product. I have spent money in some other creams and been disappointed. I want to see if these products actually work. Please post. Thank you.

  • Pre-paid

Thankfully I paid with a pre-paid VISA Credit card purchased at Walmart. This may be a permanent consideration due to this experience, since I too was unaware of the 18 day trial period. I did call to cancel immediately when I got the package. Thanks for reading!

  • Dana

I tried the free trial, then cancelled it so I wouldn’t be charged. I got to keep the free trial ( which is a great cream). They offered me 50% off the monthly prices if I kept getting it. I still said no, but if you do want it…I would recommend calling and trying to get it cheaper. They make deals 🙂

I ordered my free trial of Aqualift and Vitaderm on 1/15/2012 and immediately called 1-877-498-1950 and cancelled my subscription after reading the fine prints. I was given two cancellation numbers and also received two very informal emails of the cancellation. I have not yet been charged anything but the shipping charges for the two ($5.00), but will keep an eye on my credit card statement. The orders were placed and cancelled on 1/15/2012 and I received the orders yesterday, 1/20/2012. I called pretty late and someone immediately picked up. Hope that helps.

I thought I was ordering a “trial” of the Vitaderm and the Aqualift. It did arrive but I have not yet used the products on my skin. I was subsequently shocked to see on my bank statement each product separately charged for a full month’s supply, an expensive product which I had thought was to be a trial only supply. I tried on 2 different days, was on hold for a very long time, but a woman finally answered today. She was very nice, business-like, read me back the statement on my order sheet which stated the need to cancel or be charged, as noted above. After some back and forth discussion she agreed to cancel any future orders (I agreed to keep what I had), and to send another month’s supply free (she insisted – FREE) for my trouble. It seemed senseless to refuse – hope I am not sorry. Again, I will be watching closely. She told me to call back to the same customer service number if there was any further problem; OR, if I did decide to order in the future!

I called at night and got thru quickly… When aske why, i simply told them a read the BBB report and on a scale of A+ to F They have an F rating (TRUE) he took down info and said that an email would be sent confiming cancelig future shipments. call was made 4 days after recieving it WILL BE WATCHING E-MAIl CAREFULLY If not there I will notify back not to process this transaction…. sighed off wishing him GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR JOB

I ordered both aqua lift and vida derm on 01/06/12 for the free trial. Both products came together in the mail yesterday 01/12/12. I called them this morning 01/13/12 and was able to cancle both orders in just a few minutes. I will watch my account to make sure that nothing funny happens but it was a pleasant experience. The man I spoke to told me if I like the product I can simply call back and order it when I’m ready. I started using it today. I’m hoping it works well.

I am still on hold at the 877-498-1950 number (22 minutes) now I am on hold at the 888-543-9408 #. Trying to cancel because I received the trial product on last week Thursday, Jan. 5th and it has not been 14 days yet and they have already taken their money out of my account. I am in the process of stopping future withdrawals from account. However, I am going to still keep trying.
