Promises of increased volume and length were what caught our attention when first reading about Lash blast Fusion mascara. After all, in the world of eyelash enhancement it is usually a “one or the other” sort of venture in which you get volume from one formula, and lengthening if you partner it with another. The chance for having truly “fatter” lashes while also getting longer ones from the same product was something we knew we wanted to check out.

Because Cover Girl has such a strong background in the creation of innovative products that solve a lot of the most common beauty “dilemmas” we weren’t all that surprised to see that the company had created a “fiberstretch formula”. Not only would this add serious length to the eyelashes, but it would thicken AND volumize them at the same time. The one thing we wanted to see immediately is if this was a “two-step” application. Though there is nothing wrong with a single tube using two formulations, it is a situation that can result in lesser product for more money and difficulties in terms of applying correctly. For instance, we often hear of two-part formulas leading to flaking and breakage.

We recommend Lashblast Fusion by Cover Girl because it delivers on its promises. It lengthens and “bulks up” lashes to a very noticeable and yet very comfortable level. The consumer feedback indicates that this is a distinct improvement over the original formulation, and the price shows that it is something that can really become a beauty supply “staple”.
