SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex Review – Revolutionary?

SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex Overview

SkinMedica is a skincare line dedicated to the science of the skin’s own healing and restorative abilities.  The company was created a decade ago by Dr. Richard Fitzpatrick, who has since been named by Allure Magazine, a “Physician Who Has Most Influenced Beauty”.

SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex is touted as a revolutionary product that’s clinically proven to lessen the appearance of fine lines, improve tone and texture, and minimize dark spots, all by enhancing skin’s natural ability to heal and rejuvenate itself.  SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex isn’t cheap, but it does enjoy lots of dedicated followers.  So let’s take a closer look.

SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex ReviewSkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex Ingredients and How They Work

The key to SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex is its unique formula, based primarily on Human Fibroblast Conditioned Media (TNS).  This is SkinMedica’s patented signature technology that includes growth factors, cytokines, antioxidants, and matrix proteins.  Growth factors can help skin revitalize itself by rebuilding connective tissue, and promoting skin tissue repair and regeneration.  They penetrate the skin and are able to get to where they’re needed. SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex has the highest level of this growth factor blend of any product at a 93.6% concentration.

You should use a single pump twice a day, and apply it to your face after cleansing and toning.  SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex has a transparent fuchsia color and an unpleasant smell.  The website explains that the smell comes from the high concentration of protein, and that it dissipates after the product dries on your skin.

SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex Pros and Cons

Remembering that there’s good and bad in everything can help you make the most informed decision possible about whether or not to buy a product.

Advantages of SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex

  • It uses state of the art skincare technology.
  • It was developed by a dermatologist.
  • SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex reviews trend very much toward the positive.
  • There is a 30-day return policy if you buy through the website.

Disadvantages of SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex

  • Many customers have commented on the unpleasant smell.
  • SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex is expensive.
  • There is some concern that topical use of growth factors has not been tested enough to determine its safety.

Where to Buy

SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex is widely available online. The SkinMedica website sells a .63 oz pump for $185. The website also has a physician locator function where you can find a physician who carries the line.  Other online retailers sell SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex for less.  We saw prices ranging from $85 to $185.

Conclusion

SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex might be the best thing going, but we’re just not sure.  It’s expensive for sure.  Many dermatologists recommend it to help their patients heal after laser and other procedures, and customers love it.  Our biggest concern, besides the price, is that it may prove to be unsafe somewhere down the line.  If you’re willing to go ahead and try it anyway, please make sure to stay in touch and let us know how it goes for you.

Mary, the issue with the ingredients in SkinMedica is the TNS growth factor. There haven’t been any long term studies on the safety of it, so there’s just a bit of a question mark there. Rachel
