Peptox Wrinkle Relaxing Cream Review – Does it Work?

Peptox Overview

The skin care industry is a 25 billion dollar a year market and numerous companies compete for their share of that lucrative pie.  A growing segment of that industry focuses on anti-aging skin care products.  One product dedicated to making skin looking younger and fresher is Peptox Wrinkle Relaxing Cream.  When I began researching this product, I discovered some facts you should know if you’re considering buying Peptox.

Peptox – It’s Ingredients and How it WorksPeptox

There is no official website available for Peptox.  You can find it on several online retailers sites and there is a limited amount of information available.  Here is what we know about this product.  It is manufactured by Urban Apothecary and claims to take a tw0-pronged approach by both reducing the visibility of current wrinkles and fine lines and simultaneously preventing more from occurring. Some online retailers claim that Peptox is clinically proven and do provide some information regarding results, however, there is no information available about how the trials were conducted.

There are two popular anti aging skin care ingredients in the Peptox formula.  It includes Matrixyl 3000 and hyaluronic acid.  Matarixyl 3000 is known for it’s ability to penetrate the skin and encourage the natural production of collagen and elastin, two important building blocks for healthy, youthful looking skin.  Hyaluronic acid is a powerful moisturizer capable of holding up to 1000 times its own weight in water.  The formula also contains fibronectin, which some researchers say helps promote skin repair.

There is no complete list of ingredients for Peptox Wrinkle Relaxing Cream and no satisfaction guarantee could be found.  This product does not claim to be non-allergenic.

Instructions say to apply Peptox twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.

Where to Buy Peptox

Peptox is available from several online retailers, some of whom have added their own name to the Peptox lable.  The price ranged from around $40 up to about $50.  As mentioned earlier, there is apparently no money back guarantee offered on this product.

Peptox Pros

  • Contains Matrixyl 3000
  • Contains hyaluronic acid

Peptox Cons

  • No official website
  • No complete ingredient list available
  • No guarantee found
  • Not labeled non-allergenic
  • No consumer testimonials found

Our Conclusions

We like the fact that Peptox Wrinkle Relaxing Cream contains two proven anti-aging skin care ingredients, but unfortunately, that’s about all we could find to like about this product.  There simply is not enough information available to make a valid judgement about this skin cream and we don’t like the fact that the manufacture feels a need to keep the complete ingredients list a secret.  That makes it difficult for women who know they have sensitive skin to make a judgement call about Peptox.  Our feelings are that unless the manufacturer becomes more transparent in the future, Peptox would not be one of our recommended products.

Q: What about Rodan & Fields Reverse skin care line? -Deborah

A: Deborah, I haven't used Rodan & Fields. I'm turned off from it because it's an MLM (pyramid) business structure. I've had friends throwing the parties and such. My favorite anti-aging cream is Kollagen Intensiv. Thanks for your question! Rachel~WomensBlogTalk.com
