Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System Overview

Clinique makes a lot of effective products.  They also just plain make a lot of products too.  One of the hardest things is going through them all to see if we can figure out which are which.  But it can also be  a lot of fun too.  You just have to have the right mind set.  I came across an intriguing product recently.  It was actually a reader who asked me to take a look.

It’s called Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System.  It’s a two step system that claims to address every issue faced be the skin around your eyes.  (If you know anything about me, you know that’s my primary requirement for using an eye cream at all.  It must address those specific concerns we have for this fragile skin, namely dark circles and puffiness.  Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System claims to to this while it also minimizes both deep lines and fine wrinkles and protects against any future damage caused by the sun.

Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System ReviewClinique CX 24 Hour Eye System Ingredients and How They Work

Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System is a 2 part system.

Phase 1 is for erasing the look of lines, both deep and shallow.  It also brightens, lifts, and evens out skin tone.  The primary ingredients involved in this process are:

  • Shea Butter
  • Glycerin
  • Sweet Almond Seed
  • Sodium Hyaluronate
  • Soy Protein
  • Vitamin E

You’ll also find Mica and Titanium Dioxide to provide a bit of coverage in the form of light reflection for those dark circles.

Phase 2 is for protecting your skin by blocking out the sun’s harmful rays.  To that end, Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System uses Titanium Dioxide as a physical sunblock.  It’s also got some antioxidants, some slip agents for a silky finish, and mica and iron oxides for more light reflection and coverage.

Disadvantages of Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System

  • It’s expensive.
  • The jar packaging means exposure to light and air will cause the active ingredients to break down and become ineffective.
  • We really didn’t find any Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System reviews from customers, letting us know what the general consensus on this is.

Where to Buy

You can buy Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System at certain department stores or online.  The 2 jars sell as a package together for $115.  If you’d prefer, you can buy it online for about the same price.

I would recommend Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System, but I have two reservations.  The first is that there really aren’t any reviews from customers out there for us to read.  It’s hard to recommend something when you haven’t heard from the people who know best.  The second is the jar packaging.  Any seriously beneficial ingredients run the risk of breaking down very quickly and becoming basically useless.  If you’re interested in Clinique CX 24 Hour Eye System, I’d suggest trying for a free sample first.
