Dermology Wrinkle Repair Review – a Botox Alternative

Dermology Wrinkle Repair
Dermology Phytoceramides Wrinkle Repair Complex

Note: This is my personal review, Click Here to visit the official site for Dermology Wrinkle Repair

There comes a time in every woman’s life when she realizes that her skin just isn’t what it used to be.  Where there was once smooth supple softness, now there are lines, wrinkles, and even a little sagging.

Some are lucky enough to have mothers who teach us that if we take care of our skin when we’re young, it’ll take care of us when we’re old.  Others have to learn on their own.

Either way, in the end, it’s all about the right skincare products, the ones that will fight the wrinkles you have today and delay the arrival of the ones you’ll have in the future.

Dermology Wrinkle Repair is an exciting discovery I recently made when looking for breakthrough products to talk about, so I decided to personally try it to see if I liked it.

I had been looking for a wrinkle cream with Argireline, since Dr. Oz calls this ingredient “the best needle free alternative to cosmetic injections.”

Dermology Wrinkle Repair Complex
Dermology is flawless under makeup!

This is why Argireline is often compared to botox! Dermology also contain Matrixyl 3000, a very effective collagen booster and I’ve had proven results using products with these ingredients because they work!

Dermology has been getting great reviews from women who’ve been using it, including myself.

They report that they notice a marked decrease in fine lines and wrinkles, greater elasticity, a more even skin tone, and even a lightening of dark circles under the eyes.

Read on to see how Dermology worked for me during my three week trial!

Dermology Wrinkle Repair Ingredients and How They Work

When it comes to anti-aging treatments, it’s all about the ingredients.  I was pleased when I looked more closely at what goes into Dermology Wrinkle Repair.

There are just three primary key ingredients, but they are definitely some of the best anti-aging ingredients available today:

  • Argireline is a hexapeptide and is a topical alternative to Botox when it comes to putting the brakes on aging skin. It relaxes facial muscles so fewer contractions occur, causing fewer wrinkles.  It also increases the production of collagen for firmer, more resilient skin.
  • Matrixyl 3000 is the most popular collagen promoting peptide on the market today.  It works with your skin’s own natural collagen producing abilities.  Your skin will be smoother, thicker, and firmer, with fewer wrinkles and less sagging.
  • Hyaluronic Acid is a powerful moisturizer and hydrator.  It is capable of attracting and trapping hundreds of times its own weight in water.  This has the effect of plumping up and filling in lines and wrinkles.  It also gives skin a dewy glow.

Dermology Ingredients
Dermology contains soothing apricot and sunflower seed oil

Dermology Wrinkle Repair also contains soothing Apricot Kernel and Sunflower Oil which work to calm the skin and reduce redness and irritation.

By using Dermology Wrinkle Repair twice a day, you’ll see an immediate improvement, and it will only increase over time.

Dermology Wrinkle Repair Cream Pros and Cons

  • Protects skin from future signs of aging
  • Contains cutting edge ingredients proven to work
  • There is a 90 day money back guarantee
  • Has an affordable price of $49.95 for a one month supply

Disadvantages of Dermology Wrinkle Repair

  • The refund only applies to unused product, so if you return half, the refund will be half
  • Not available in retail stores

Where to Buy Dermology Wrinkle Repair

Dermology Wrinkle Repair can be purchased from the official website for Dermology Wrinkle Repair.  They are currently offering a special where if you buy 2, you get 1 free, so the total for a three month’s supply would only be $99.95, which is a savings of $49.95.

I feel like this is the best option if you decide to buy Dermology, because you will want more once you use it!

And by the way, this is NOT sold as a free trial, which I much prefer, especially in light of some of my recent reviews on all the short-term free trial scams that are running rampant at the moment.

Rachel’s 3 week trial using Dermology Wrinkle Repair

Dermology Wrinkle Repair Complex
Dermology has a silky texture that dries to a matte finish

When you’ve seen and tried as many products as I have, you get a real sense of what works and what doesn’t, and Dermology Wrinkle Repair works!

I decided to put Dermology to the test by using it for three straight weeks and I am really impressed by how well the ingredients of this formula work together to leave my skin feeling moisturized, tightened, and with a smooth, youthful appearance.

Dermology has a nice silky moisturizing formula and I like how it dries to a matte finish, leaving no greasy residue at all.

If you have combination or oily skin – you will love the texture of this product and the end result of how it feels once it absorbs!

I would also recommend Dermology for sensitive skin as is has no added fragrance and is hypo-allergenic. I experienced no side effects during my trial, and Dermology is very calming to the skin with a barely there scent.

I’ve been told by my dermatologist that I have “vascular” skin meaning I often have a little redness in my skin tone on my face and chest and this product helped to noticeably reduce the redness and even out my complexion.

Dermology also works immediately to tighten my skin, and this is exactly how Argireline works – it relaxes the muscles that create furrows and wrinkles to give the skin a smoother appearance and you can feel it working as soon as you apply.

I like to use a plastic spoon to scoop out just the right amount which also keeps the tub clean and free of bacteria (you should never dip your finger into your creams).

As you can see from my picture above, you only need a small amount, smaller than the size of my thumbnail, which is enough to cover your entire face and neck. I’ve used a little more than half of the 1.0 oz container in my 3 weeks of use.

In conclusion of my 3 week trial, I highly recommend this product if you’re looking to try what I would consider a “breakthrough product,” a wrinkle cream with the latest, most effective scientific anti-aging ingredients that tone, tighten, reduce wrinkles and redness, and absorbs to a matte finish.

Bottom line, when you find an anti-aging cream that works, you stick with it, and I have a feeling the long term effects of using Dermology would be very beneficial for younger looking skin.

I will definitely be adding Dermology to my anti-aging repertoire and will continue to use it, and this is exactly why I’ve made Dermology one of my Top Wrinkle Creams!

When you try it, I think you’ll agree, Dermology Wrinkle repair works!

A: Jackie, I think you're mistaken. Dermology here on my site is not a free trial - it's sold outright. Dr. Oz does not recommend Dermology specifically. He did talk about the main ingredient "Argireline" which is found in Dermology. Dr. Oz doesn't actually recommend any specific creams and he doesn't have his own skin care line. There are a lot of scams out there saying they are Dr. Oz recommended but they are not. Be careful. Thanks for your comment. Rachel~WomensBlogTalk.com

It's gentle, hydrates, cuts redness and is made with sensitive skin in mind.  I do really love Meaningful Beauty as well but that's a membership and you get the whole skin care line. Hi.I received that cream after 2 month. Some mistake was when I ordered,I had to call two times at the International customer service, but yesterday I received my cream.I am 35 years old,Rachel,do you think I am too young to use that cream?

Maria, 35 is not too young to use an anti-aging treatment:) I recommend starting to use a good cream in your early 20’s, and always sunscreen! Rachel

Do not order dermology wrinkle repair trial size advertIsed on Facebook unless you want to be scammed out of money. I ordered it. HUGE MISTAKE. I ended up being scammed for
$121.83 total for a sample which was supposed to cost me $9.97. Foolishly, I used my Debit card. They hit my card five times, and attempted a sixth time. At that point, the Fraud Dept. of Visa called me on the phone to ask me if I had purchased anything in Burbank, Ca. I live in New York State and have never been to California. Consequently, another $75 hit on my card was denied. I was issued a new account number. The company GSCM is unreachable despite a phone number and a website . I received threatening letters asking for payment and a collection letter from COLLECT PROS. SCAM ALERT!!! Neither company is accredited by the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. You can look up complaints on-line, with similar complaints like mine. Dealing with these people has taught me a costly lesson.
i don’t know if they will report me to a credit agency, but I have documented my accounting of this transaction for future reference.

Jean, sorry to hear this. I hate that Dermology is being offered as a short term trial, it never used to be until recently. The way I promote it, if you use my links you can just purchase it outright – no trial involved. How many days was the trial? Rachel~WomensBlogTalk.com

  • Dawn

Hi- I’m thinking about trying the Dermology- as lifecell is too expensive right now. So you would suggest use it 2 times a day? My skin is combo oily/dry, few dark spots. Would you suggest anything else to use in addition to this, like a good toner or cleanser maybe? I enjoyed your article! Very helpful!

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Hi Dawn, thanks for your question. Yes, twice a day for any wrinkle cream that you use. Dermology is a good one, especially if you can tend to get oily. Pairing it with a good toner will help exfoliate and allow the Dermology to absorb better. My favorite toner/exfoliator is the Skinception AHA Toner. It has alphahydroxy acids from fruit extracts but it’s pretty gentle and does a great job preparing the skin for your anti-aging treatment. Good luck!

I’m just curious to know if you receive money from the company for pushing their product.

Don’t misunderstand me, I’m ready to order through your site. But am wondering if it operates as an MLM. It’s fine with me if it does, but is that how you are able to maintain control of auto renewals?

    Thanks.

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Hi Caroll, Dermology is not an MLM but they do give me a small commission for sales – much like Avon or Mary Kay. It’s not much though, and I use the money to buy more products to review. Dermology is also not an auto renewal product if you use my links, although lately I have seen it offered as a free trial which I don’t like too much, unless it’s at least a 30 day trial like Lifecell. I don’t have any control of the auto renewals however. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Do you check to see if the Dermology wrinkle repair Creme is philate and paraben free?
I would like to ease the wrinkles and firm the neck skin. However I don’t want to harm the rest of my body in doing so. Cheers

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Hi Kim, Dermology is paraben and phthalate free. If you go to my review of Dermology, and click through to any of the Dermology links (there’s one at the very top of my article), just click “Ingredients” at the top and a bubble will come up with all the ingredients. I’m picky about products as well, as we should be.

While the product may or may not live up to its promises, the company’s customer service does not live up to its standard. I tried to return the auto-generated order, was told it was past the 90 day refund period, but now the company will not even consider sending me the product. They now have both my money and my product. I have no resolution through their customer service in spite of several calls.
Cannot recommend the product as I don’t have it!

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Delahny, did you order Dermology as a free trial? If ordering through my links, it is not sold as a trial (it’s just sold outright) so it wouldn’t be an auto-generated order. I’m sorry they wouldn’t refund you, I know it does have a 90 day return policy, so if it was over that, I can see how it might be tough to get a refund. I’m sorry you had a bad experience, but thanks for your comment.

    Hi Rachel,

I was wondering after reading this review, are you continuing to use LifeCell and Dermology or do you think that one of them gives you the better results?

    Thanks for you input

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Hi Cindra, I use them both, but I use Lifecell when my face feels particularly drab, puffy, or wrinkly. Nothing beats Lifecell and how fast it works to smooth wrinkles. I stray and try other products, but I always get the best result and youngest looking skin when I stick with Lifecell. It’s just the best!
      Rachel
      WomensBlogTalk

      • Cindra

        Thanks Rachel,

So my next question would be…how would I use them both? LifeCell and Dermology at the same time twice a day? Alternate days with LifeCell Monday, Dermology Tuesday etc?

Just wondering what combination would achieve the overall best results?

        Thoughts?

        • Rachel Vrabel
          Rachel Vrabel

Cindra, I would alternate and use Lifecell during the day and Dermology at night, if you’re going to order both. Lifecell makes your face look smoother so use it when you want to look your best!

Hi Linda, you could certainly use Dermology in combination with a Retinol product if that’s what you’re asking. Are you referring to a combo trial offer that you’ve seen? Dr. Oz does not endorse ANY wrinkle creams so if you’ve seen an ad then it’s probably a scam. Dr. Oz does however, endorse the ingredient “Argirilene” which tightens the skin which is an ingredient in Dermology that I really like. If you purchase Dermology through my link, it is NOT sold as a “free trial” offer – you just buy it outright and it comes with a 90 day money back guarantee.

I got caught by one of those scams. Luckily I was able to get out of it without any trouble.Needless to say I am a bit shy of getting into another one. Does Dermology require you to commit to an auto delivery program?

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Hi Kay, not if you purchase it by clicking through to the official Dermology site from my review. The way I refer it, it is just sold outright with a 90 day money back guarantee. I have, however, seen some sites popping up recently selling it as an auto delivery program which is better to avoid in most cases in my opinion. Thanks for much for your question.

Well…..I took the plunge and decided to try Dermology. I added the free shipping coupon that they threw at me but still was charged for shipping. Thanks for all ur advice.

Hi Sherry, did you purchase the Dermology through the review on my site, or somewhere else? I may be able to contact the vendor and have them correct it. That happened to me once during my Christmas shopping online, when I called and told them I should have received free shipping, they credited me right away. I’m happy to help if you can give me some more information. I don’t want you unhappy! 🙂

Wondering if you’ve seen the ad ( with Dr. Oz name and free trial offer ) for using Dermology and Revitol together. I’m sure free trial is a scam but have you heard of using those 2 items?

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Barb, I happen to love both Dermology and Revitol and recommend both, however you DON’T need to use them together (they are very similiar in ingredients actually so there is no point). And you don’t have to purchase them by way of an autoship program. If you click through to the official Dermology or Revitol websites through my personal reviews (you’ll see the links at the very top and bottom), they are offered just as a one time purchase. You buy them outright and they come with a 90 day money back guarantee. Dr. Oz does not recommend these creams either, and that part is a scam for those ads that you saw. He has talked about one of the ingredients within Dermology, however, called Argirilene. It’s has a tightening “botox-like” effect, but he’s actually never mentioned products that use these ingredients. Let me know if you have questions.

I saw an ad with Dr Oz name on it promoting a free trial of Dermology and Revitol to be used together. ( 4.95 sh for each) have you heard of this?

    • Rachel Vrabel
      Rachel Vrabel

Barb, it’s a scam. While I do love Dermology (it’s my #3 top cream) and Revitol is also a good cream. Dr. Oz does not promote these and this offer is a short term free trial offer trying to suck you into buying not one, but two creams and be on an auto-ship, auto-rebill program. If you are interested in Dermology, you can buy it outright and not get tangled up in the trial. Check out my review of Dermology or you can check out my review on Revitol. I don’t offer these as trials, if you click through to the company websites via my review, you can just buy them and they both have 90 day money back guarantee. I’ve used both of these creams and had good results. Thanks for your comment Barb, and let me know if you have any questions on either of these creams.

Hi Beth, I found a phone number for Nuvieskin through the Better Business Bureau: (888) 978-2310. I could not find anything on Delightfull Skin under that name – is that what’s on the bottle? The number for Nuderma is: 1-877-817-5015. So you could try both of these numbers and attempt to cancel. That’s very misleading that you ordered one product and it shows up different on your credit card statement, it’s probably part of their scam so it’s hard to reach them. I often see that however, if you click on one free trial, 90% of the time it’ll take you to a completely different trial product. If you can’t get through, I would ask your bank to cancel your credit card and issue a new one.
