Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme Review

Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme Overview

Dior has been synonymous with couture for as long as anyone can remember.  Fashion and accessories are their mainstay, but what about beauty products, namely makeup and skincare?  The way we see it, in order to be on top of the beauty industry, you need to have more than just glitz and glamour.  You need to function.  You need to deliver.  So does Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme deliver?  That’s what we’re here to find out.

Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme claims to correct all the visible signs of aging.  It adds density to the skin, making it firm and revitalizing contours.  It plumps and smooths out wrinkles and lines.  And it brightens your skin leaving you with an illuminated, radiant tone.

We have to say, the Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme reviews we found were rather mixed.  Some of the ladies love this stuff, while some experienced breakouts, sensitivity, and just plain ineffectiveness.  So lets look to the formula to try to sort this out.

Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme ReviewDior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme Ingredients and How They Work

Dior doesn’t talk about ingredients in their promotional materials, but we found the list and with some digging, were able to sort out some of the highlights.  There are skin softeners like Glycerine and Silicones.  There are some cell communicating proteins like Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Yeast Extract, and Oat Kernel Extract.  There are some antioxidants like Vitamin E, anti-inflammatory Licorice Root Extract, and the moisture binder, Sodium Hyaluronate.

All in all, it’s a good list, but not great, which would coincide pretty well with what the reviews say.  There’s also a lot of fragrance which could explain some of the women experiencing irritation or breakouts.

Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme Pros and Cons

Understanding what’s good and what’s not so good about a product is key to knowing whether or not it’s right for you.

Advantages of Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme

  • It’s sold at department stores so it’s possible to test it out at the counter before you buy.
  • There are some positive Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme reviews from customers who like the way it is very hydrating.

Disadvantages of Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme

  • It’s expensive.
  • The jar packaging will cause the antioxidants to break down.
  • Some Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme reviews indicate customers who experienced breakouts and clogged pores.

Where to Buy

Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme enjoys a pretty wide availability.  You can get it at high-end department stores, like Neiman Marcus.  You can get it at beauty product stores like Sephora.  And you can get though online retailers including Amazon.  The going rate is about $125 for a 1.7 oz jar.

Conclusion

If you must have something Dior, we think it would be best to make it something other than your wrinkle cream.  While the Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme jar will add some panache to your bathroom counter, it won’t do nearly as much for your skin.

Kate, thanks for your comment. Dior uses a ton of fragrance in their products, I used to use Capture Totale when my sis worked for Dior. It was way too greasy for me, but it didn’t make my skin burn, ouch! I would definitely recommend to use fragrance free products and steer clear of botanicals, if you’re face was on fire with Dior, the Kate Somerville products, or products high in botanicals would probably really hurt you. Check out my review on Lifecell, it is 100% fragrance free, hypo-allergenic, and I even use it on my eyelids, that’s how irritant free it is. What type of skin do you have? If you like the hydration of the Dior, then you may like Kollagen Intensiv better than Lifecell.
