Clear Difference Advanced Oil-Control Hydrator Overview

Estee Lauder makes product for all kinds of skin types at all kinds of price points.  Today’s entry is for oily skin, and it comes in at the low end in terms of Estee Lauder prices.  It’s called Clear Difference Advanced Oil-Control Hydrator.  It claims to hydrate skin on the inside while leaving a matte finish on the outside.  But does it keep its promise?  That’s what we’re determined to find out.  According to most of the reviews we’ve seen, people really love it, so let’s dive into the ingredients.

Clear Difference Advanced Oil-Control Hydrator ReviewClear Difference Advanced Oil-Control Hydrator Ingredients and How They Work

Clear Difference Advanced Oil-Control Hydrator is a water based lotion that goes on and absorbs quickly.  It’s got a fair amount of silicones in it (the predominant one being Dimethicone) so it feels silky and leaves a smooth finish.  Alcohol is a prominent ingredient.  This may help with the appearance of oil control, but it’s not good for your skin and it doesn’t inhibit sebum production.  For hydration, you’ll find Algae Extract, Trehalose, Urea, and Sodium Hyaluronate.  These are all good skin cell communicating and/or skin-identical hydrators that aren’t oily or greasy.  There’s also caffeine to brighten up skin and stimulate circulation for a healthier look.

You are instructed to apply Clear Difference Advanced Oil-Control Hydrator to your cleansed and toned skin in the morning before applying your makeup.
